This is going to be a pretty strange question, but do you have any speculative biology about your characters? Like how in MonHun there's ecological information, I'd love to know if any of your OCs or FOs have something like that to them!
Been sitting on this for a little bit because this definitely got me thinking about what I have already considered!
✨ For the longest time, I've always believed Ghirahim's bones are black and a mix of various metals. However, because of this he is very heavy and would sink like a rock if you put him in deep water (which along with some of personal theories from Skyward Sword itself, is why he has thalassophobia, but is also why when he hits you it will HURT).
Fi (in Skyward Sword at least) doesn't have a physical forme, but if she did her bones would be the same!
✨ In the context of my original story Blue Bones, all dragons (so, Blue Bones herself, Harlem, Nyx, and the Dragon Gods of the world) are intersex! Whilst it is biologically impossible for a dragon to be anything but intersex, they can still have surgery if they so wish to become more masculine or feminine. Nyx himself is trans after all :>

R K S B for Winter
Thank you so much!!
(R)elative- What is your OC'S family like, are they related to any canon characters?
Pietro Maximoff, Helen Cho, Wanda Maximoff, Billy Maximoff, and Tommy Maximoff
(K)ill- Does your OC die in the end, do they end up killing someone?
I don’t have a story idea laid out for her yet, but I think she’d probably end up helping with the killing, but not actually doing it herself.
(S)ecret- What is a secret that your OC has, does this secret cause a plot twist?
She is in possession of one of the Infinity Stones! The Space Stone, to be exact.
(B)uddies- who is your OC friends with, are they apart of any friend group or team?
She’s pretty good friends with Shuri, Harley, Billy, Tommy, and Peter P.

Tips for Traditional Publishing
(With information from Writing Cooperative and Well-Storied)
Not too long ago, I made a post about reputable traditional publishers for fiction writers. Since then, I’ve decided to dig a bit deeper into traditional publishing (but without agents), and henceforth, this new post on
✨tips for traditional publishing✨!
Polish up the manuscript: these guys aren’t going to fo most of the editing for you, that’s you and your beta. Make sure your manuscript is pretty much exactly what you want it to be.
First Three Chapters: this rule is already valid for all other forms of writing, but you need to make sure that, by the end of your third chapter, the reader will want to know more—which, as we know, makes them read more. Most traditional publishers accepting unsolicited manuscripts usually only take the first 3 chapters to review, and if they like those, they request the rest of your book: which means you have to have those three embody your story pretty well.
Marketability: what’s your story’s genre? Age group? What are the most genres found in that age group? What elements do most of those genres have? What’s a tired cliché in that age group and genre? You’ll need to make sure your story is unique enough to pique interest but (sadly) not too different to disengage interest because of readers’ lack of information on a certain topic.
Acceptance: you’ve found (or chosen from my list) a traditional publisher accepting unsolicited manuscripts that’s taken on yours! From here, they’re probably going to do a couple of edits, and then go straight to publishing (don’t take my word on this, though, search some more. To each publisher their own). Your book may not sell as well as it could have if it was being put out by, say, Random House, Harper Collins, Little, Brown & Co. or the great Scholastic, which means marketing will be important to do. I recommend looking at what @so_many_ocs has done.
Anything else that comes up in traditional publishing after this, sadly, isn’t something I can give tips for because it’s after you’ve gotten accepted and edited and all of that and deals mostly with marketing, something I am (for once) inexperienced in.
