Known Problems:

The trim on the "Wilma Casual Dress" (purple dress with bow) gets a bit wonky at the end of the skirt! I tried to fix it in many different ways, but this is what I got!

The pleads on the "French Hen Dress" also get a bit wonky, same as above!

LIGHTING GLITCHES ONLY APPEAR ON CAS!

* Note that teens and elders have neck gaps. This is sadly the price for having them available! For teens, try using this and this slider by gruesim!

NOTES:

Because TwentiethCenturySims is a great creator, his whole catalogue is quite low-poly and gameplay friendly, so don't worry about that!

All 3 hats are hat-slider compatible and unissex, as always!

The Ida, Annie and Elsie dresses (gingham and flowers pattern) all have 11 presets. First 10 are overlays, having multiple floral options, but with collars, buttons and bows being recolorable. Last one is completely recolorable!

The "baby sweater" (green sweater with black tie) has 4 presets, first two having christmas-like patterns, third one having a knitted pattern, and last one being completely CAStable!

The "baby dress" (red dress with white collar) has 12 presets. 6 first presets have a velvety texture which is recolorable, with 5 flower options to the collar, and one without the flowers. Same applies to the other 6, but they don't have the velvet texture to the dress!

The "baby hat" also comes with 2 presets, one having a velvety texture, and the other one not!

The "Havana jacket" (orange jacket with white shirt) has 31 presets. First one is completely recolorable, and the other 30 are a variety of overlay patterns to the white shirt. The jacket stays recolorable in all of them!

The "Eleanor 1930's Dress" (green dress with bow) has 6 presets. First 4 have overlay patterned presets to the dress, but the bow, collar and trim stay recolorable. The last 2 are completely CAStable!

The "Piper Dress" (kids' dress with blue bow) has 4 presets. The first 4 have overlay patterned presets on the dress, but the rest remains recolorable! The last one is completely recolorable!

The "Goose Suit" (kids' gray suit) has 3 presets. First two have different patterns checkered patterns, and the last one is plain. In all of them the collar is an overlay texture.

The "Ruffles the Clown Costume" has 2 presets, having two different stripe options.

The "Billy Sailor Suit" (Toddler's sailor-inspired outfit) has 2 presets, with two different mask options. The second one has three little recolorable circles on the belt.

The "Darlene Sailor Dress" is the same as the above, but reversed haha!

The "Swan Suit" (houndstooth patterned suit) is totally recolorable, though it may not seem like it lol! I added the houndstooth pattern from CAS, which you can remove and put anything you want instead!

The "Bonnie Two-Piece Dress" (checkered dress with buttons) has two versions: the AF-EF version, as usual, and a teen-age conversion, just because I feel like it'd be useful to you!

The "Viola 1930's Dress" (yellow stripes and brooch dress) has 5 presets. The first, second and last presets are totally recolorable, having different mask options! Third and fourth presets have floral patterned overlays on the dress, but the collar, belt, etc. remains recolorable! The brooch looks a bit off without the accessory overlay, which is the next note!

There is an overlay/color mix accessory for the brooch on the "Viola Dress, which can be found in the socks category. It gives a multiplier (details) to the brooch, as well as making it fully recolorable! If you're going to use the dress, I highly recommend only using it with the accessory activated! It has a separate thumbnail, as seen in the previews!

As you saw on the previews, there are two buy mode objects: a highchair and a potty, both for your babies! They're found where these objects are usually found (Kids -> Baby Furniture). The potty costs §30, and the highchair costs §100!

You probably noticed the 4 skirt thumbnails (with its half options) at the bottom. Because I don't want this post to be gigantic, I'll link to the original post where twentiethcenturysims explains how to use them and their purposes: HERE! Yes, they're found under "accessories"!

Valentine’s Day Hcs!

Headcannons of how you celebrate and spend Valentine’s Day with your partner!

Characters: N, Shauna, Hop, Kieran, Carmine!

Note: Happy Valentines to those who celebrate it! I made some head cannons with my favourite characters, but I won’t be taking requests for Shauna or N yet!

N - Ferris wheel ride

For Valentines, be prepared to be out and about for most of the day!

He’s been practically everywhere in Unova. He’s not going to go to places with plenty of people there, oh no.

He’s going to take you places you’ve never seen before, places so remote that you can be sure that they’re only known to the two of you.

This man is so thoughtful too, he’s only going to take you to places that he knows for sure that you’ll like.

I can imagine him taking you to a really pretty flower field to take a look at all the Lilligant and Whimsicott frolicking through!

He would also try and make you a flower crown but he hasn’t made one in years.

(He fails horribly, silly goof.)

By sunset, the two of you get to Nimbasa city, and although it’s crowded, he leads you to the Rondez-View ferris wheel together.

On the ferris wheel, he’d sit really close to you as well, he’s a sucker for physical contact and touch.

After that he’d hold your hand and talk about how he loves spending time with you, and how he loved today.

He’s good with words too, he’ll say it in the most poetic way possible, but it doesn’t sound cheesy, though you wouldn’t care if it was.

And at the very top of the ferris wheel, with the sunset on full view, he gives you a quick, sweet kiss on the lips! How romantic!

It’s a perfect end to a perfect Valentine’s Day!

Shauna - Fireworks

Shauna’s so excited for Valentines, she’s about to bust your door down the moment she gets to your house,, don’t worry, she’s just really excited to go on a date with you today!

The two of you go all over Lumiose city together! You both decide the places that you want to go together, you don’t really have anything planned.

Valentines with her seems like a bit more of an outing than a date, but that doesn’t make it less enjoyable or romantic in any way.

Shauna is a very outgoing and bubbly girl, and the sort of energy she carries around her is able to make any experience with her 10 times better!

You start by going to a cafe together and eating Poképuffs together. Even better, they’ve been doing Valentine’s themed foods there and she gushes over how adorable they are!

After that, you pretty much walk through the entire city together. There’s so much to do!

A lot of shopping is done. It’s a case of her finding something cute on a shop window and her dragging you in. It’s super fun to see the different things in store, Lumiose has so much to offer!

You take walks down the avenues and boulevards, as well as the plazas!

Although it doesn’t sound like a lot, these activities took up most of the day. Lumiose is a ginormous place…

But there’s one more place that she’s adamant to take you to!

It took a little while, but she takes you to a place called the Parfum Palace! It’s a public museum, and she’s got a surprise for you there!

She takes you to a balcony, where you and her stand together.

She can barely hold in her excitement, and she’s elated when fireworks start shooting off! She’s bouncing off the walls, and you can tell how happy she is when you feel how tight her hand is gripping yours!

The fireworks are gorgeous, no wonder she was so determined to bring you here. It was worth it, seeing all the beautiful Valentines themed patterns, and the colours to go with them!

Shauna does her best for valentines, and although it may be quite an exhilarating event, it’s a romantic event that the both of you won’t ever forget!

Hop- Gorgeous sightseeing

Happy Valentines! I hope you like travelling and sightseeing, because Hop is taking you to the best Galar has to offer!

Sure, the weather in Galar is wonky with it being rainy one day, stormy the other- and a lot of it is filled with ruins- so what could you find romantic about that?

Hop has been all through this wretched region, he knows the best places to take you for a day as special as today. As long as you’re up to it (you are) he’ll be taking you to the prettiest places there!

Although he’s put an incredible amount of thought in for the places to go, he can’t help but feel normal as the two of you converse on the train

He starts with Glimwood tangle. Although it’s mysterious, it’s quite a serene place, with not much to be heard apart from the occasional rustling that comes from Impidimp scouring through.

He takes this chance to hold your hand as you stroll through and head to Ballonlea (smart move, hop)!The town itself may not be too romantic, but it’s a pretty sight, right?

He also takes you to Wyndon. It’s a wonderful sight, even though it’s crowded.

You go for a stroll up the gardens, and the two of you look back on your moments together, even way back from when you were just friends.

(If you paid close attention to his voice, you could hear it trembling slightly…)

He’s got one more place to show you after you finish a lap around Wyndon, and he hopes he can make it work!

It takes a while to get there, having to go from Wyndon all the way to Postwick was time consuming, but you have each other!

On the train ride there, you end up leaning onto Hop’s shoulder, and he gets so flustered!

The two of you have been dating for a while, but he still never fails to grow warm under your touch. He ends up leaning onto you too.

The two of you head inside the slumbering Weald, making sure to avoid the Weezing and Musharna floating about so that you could get to your destination quickly.

You’ve arrived, and at this point Hop puts his hands over your eyes. When he opens them, you’re met with the gorgeous sight of an altar, well hidden by the trees, and the sun gleaming down at the waters.

Hop also had matching bracelets to give to you- the two being your favourite colours with some other white beads, and a message spelling ‘I love you’ !

The rest of you spend your time peacefully talking together at the Slumbering Weald. Celebrating Valentines with Hop is him making his appreciation to you known in (what he thinks are) the best ways possible!

Kieran- Appletun pie

This is Kieran’s first Valentine’s Day with you, so he wants to make it special and last.

He’s never really been the type to plan and do extravagant things, so he settles for something that he thinks would be fun for the both of you.

And that’s through baking!

Unfortunately, the Apple trees over at Apple hills are far from blossoming at this time of year, but it’s okay! He’s got a bunch of fresh ones the two of you can use!

(His Hydrapple picks out the sweetest apples for him. Even before the two of you started dating that thing has been nothing but a wingman!)

On the day, he’s so happy when he arrives at your house!

He’s got the biggest smild smile on his face too!

“Happy Valentines S/O ! I bought you somethin’ as well :DD!”

He wants this to go as well as possible, he brings some choclate too!

Anyways, the two of you use an Appletun apple pie recipe, it’s a pie that looks plenty similar to the aforementioned Pokémon!

He’s a noob at baking too, but that does make it fun, right? If you can bake? He’s happy that there’s some experience to tag along! If not? The two of you fooling around makes it plenty enjoyable!

Speaking of fooling around… FLOUR FIGHTS >:)))

You’d probably instigate it while you’re waiting for the pie to bake in the oven, but that does not mean that Kieran is backing down in any way!

Kieran’s a competitive guy, even though you may not know it. And in some cases, his friendly competitiveness goes beyond battling on the BB Academy courts!

He’s going to reach over to smear it on your face and leave handprints on your clothes. The two of you were throwing it all over the kitchen, and boy, was it fun.

Kieran’s Hydrapple was downright terrified though. While the two of you were having fun, this poor dude was imagining the possibilities of Carmine coming in…

(She did peek in the kitchen and see the two of you fighting and she was absolutely fuming. She was about to give the both of you a piece of her mind, but even she saw how much fun the two of you were having. She must’ve felt merciful, because she left you two alone despite being livid at the mess. She was just glad to see Kieran happy in love :))

The timer for the pie goes off, and you eventually clean the kitchen to the best of your abilities. He has a spare washcloth that he lets you use to wipe the flour off where you can. Just have to hope nobody else notices the flour!

After, the two of you split the Appletun pie so there’s some for his family and some for yours!

Kieran thinks he left a memorable impression for a first Valentine’s date, and he hopes for many more!

Carmine- Late nights

Carmine would probably have a sleepover with you. But it’d be an event where the two of you go all out!

Carmine is the sort of person to do so. Going on an outing around Kitakami just isn’t her thing.

When you show up at the door, she’s got everything for the night.

Movies? Face masks? Board games? Checked right off!

She’s even decorated the living room for the occasion, taking her red blankets and pillows all down so the two of you’re cozy.

She’s so excited to spend time with you! What do you want to do first? She suggests wearing face masks while watching the all the movies she’s got to watch!

Carmine also loves physical contact, she gets super cuddly at night. For tonight, you’ll be her stuffed animal while you watch beauty and the ultra beast.

The two of you had tossed on face masks while watching the Princess and the Froakie, and all of a sudden you hear a loud yell and it’s none other than Carmine’s brother, Kieran!

He knows what a face mask is but he always gets so startled when he sees his sister wearing one…

Carmine shoos him away as soon as possible so the two of you can continue watching the movie!

Carmine is a little pouty after that mishap, but she’ll be fine.

The entire night is just a sleepover for you to focus on each other, and Carmine loves that. She loves spending time with you, and you staying over at hers is what she loves the most. She loves Kitakami, and there are good places for romantic outings, but to her what could possibly be more romantic than staying at home with your partner?

And whatever you’re doing, you should play with her hair, brush it or style it in any way you want. Carmine adores it when you do that to her, she feels so close with you!

(You enjoy it too, you’re able to get a full view of your girlfriend’s face, gazing warmly at yours.)

When you’re all settled down for the night, you and her have late night talks. She’s so in love, she could talk ti you about the most mundane things ever and she’d still look at you with the most lovesick look on her face.

Also, more cuddles, yay! She’s a big spoon, so prepare to be wrapped around her!

It’s a pretty ideal Valentine’s Day (or night in this case). Compared to the others, you simply get to laze around with your girlfriend while still having fun! And you don’t need to run everywhere!

since it's out i can finally post my piece for @hws-anthology as well as the timelapse for it. as is arguably all my hetalia work, it's a love letter to my friend @pyrrhocorax 's fic Sendlingur og Sandlóa - i'll ramble a bit about how much it means to me, as well as the symbolism i wormed into this piece below the read more :)

i originally had two pages planned for this piece, potentially more - the fic is a good 74k words long and certainly not light on scenes i could and wanted to pull from, but various things led into other various things and one page was all i could manage, so i tried to cram in what i could, so here's that (in a rough, somewhat arbitrary order of focal points)

the opening chapter! the car is a framing device for the piece as much as it is for the journey the characters will take following that first chapter, so i wanted to use the car window/shapes as a literal framing device in my drawing

joi, shaky at best in his sense of self, sees no reflection in the window, instead there's a silhouetted raven to signify the search he must go on to find it

while not perfectly transcribed by virtue of wonky (plus an extra) line(s), the notes coming from joi's headphones are the opening to the song sendlingur og sandlóa, the fic's namesake, which a loved one kindly transposed by ear for me for the purpose of this piece

in a similar vein, the stickers on joi's suitcase are of a purple sandpiper and a ringed plover, the birds after which the song is named - here they are as transparents and in their original colours

i wanted to create a sliiight impression that joi is the one knocking over the chessboard, representing his repeated rejections of it (both physically, and the things it represents)

the chess pieces were also chosen specifically! originally i was going to use a black rook and a white pawn to match chapter 41, but for the sake of having alternating colours and the rest of my metaphors working (iirc) i swapped those colours around. that, and i wanted to match chapter 13's white king and black pawn - the black pawn stuck, the white king was colour swapped for colour cohesion reasons like the other's. (visual contrast was important to me, but the white queen blending slightly into the sky was okay for symbolism reasons) (there was also black king, white rook from chapter 3, so it all worked out anyway - there's a lot of chess in this story and i only had space for so many pieces and colours, basically)

speaking of which, the black pawn is for joi (chapter 13), the white queen is for halle (someone who, from joi's perspective, can go anywhere, vs joi's pawn, someone to be used -> see chapter 35 and perspective).

the king piece is falling (but hasn't quite fallen) between halle and henrik (chapter 3, 7, 13, though i most clearly thought of 19)

the person in the top right corner is eduard! i desperately wanted to include him because i think he's deserved it, and i considered a lot of ways of working him in, but i think an ambiguous silhouette that isn't Quite part of the main picture works better narratively

note also that he's separated from the other's through a red curtain, to represent the iron curtain (naturally) i wanted it to match ber + tino's part in some way, to sorta emphasise their similar foundations despite being split apart across places

the flowers at eduard's window are placed and chosen purposefully as well! orange/red zinnia's outside (for familial ties, steadfastness, friendship and remembrance) for what eduard puts out in to the world, then lily-of-the-valley for tino and cornflower for him inside to show what he wants to hold close :)

halle and joi are the only characters with their eyes open - halle looks towards the viewer/author/reader/joi, while joi looks away all together. if you've read the fic (which i assume you have because i can't imagine this is interested to read otherwise) you probably don't need me to explain why that reflects their roles in the story

similarly, every character apart from the brothers is turned towards another in some way (eduard does not count when his flowers do, and his role in the story is based around that disconnect partially anyway) tino towards ber and eduard (and hana, i guess), ber towards tino, henrik to halle, halle to henrik (though he looks away - his values are elsewhere even when they are together). joi, at best, looks at his own reflection in the window

the colour scheme, while arbitrarily picked from gradient maps based on what i felt "fit" has been approved by the author as being very "SoS core"

finally, the poem on the note, chapter 46

all that being said, i can and will now talk about my personal relationship with SoS, so unless that interests you i imagine the post is done now! thank you for reading :)

the first comment i posted on SoS is dated 2nd November 2016 - logging into my old account i can see i bookmarked it on the 31st August that same year, so i can safely assume i first read or at least found it then. a month after my first comment, i posted another on a different account, pouring a few bits of my heart out and the author responded! we went back and forth a bit and eventually talked (i think) via tumblr for a little, but the majority of our conversations were via skype for whatever reason (we didn't call, just texted). it was a lot of me looking for writing advice, insight to their work/process/skill, talking about The Brothers and talking about psychology/the brain on a general and personal level. i think if i read our conversations back now i'd cringe, given that i was an awkward, fumbling 16 year old, but i dont think anything else wouldve been fitting given the subject matter. eventually our conversations fizzled out and we stopped talking for years, but i'd go back to SoS routinely and cry.

in may of 2021, i posted another comment during what in hindsight was definitely another relatively minor mental health episode - i think it was half trying to emphasise how important the work was to me on the off chance pyrr saw it, and half a bid for connection since i had no idea if they even remembered us talking. i assumed nothing would come of it, and for about a year that was true - until pyrr responded after all in february of 2022 - i'm happy to say we've been talking consistently on discord since then. i feel a little weird speaking too intimately about our friendship as it is now since it's not just my story to tell (though pyrr, if you're reading this) (i'm sure you are at some point) (you're welcome to talk about it however, i just didn't want to without consulting you) but i can say with some certainty that it's at least a little bit my fault that we have a sequel now - cementing my place as official number #1 fan and validating the me from almost 8 years ago in a way i don't think either of us processes well.

it's here that i feel the need to talk about my other dear friend, @hws-lceland , who i'm grateful to have met through the zine's discord server. i'm sure they're reading this too, and a lot of what our relationship means to me is stuff that's probably a bit too vulnerable for either of us to speak publicly, but i *can* say that i love them very much, and i'm really grateful to have someone else to understand, and that he read SoS for me. i thought he needed it, and i hope i was right

sendlingur is...endlessly important to me. i'm aiming to not write an essay here (a goal i think i've already sorta shot in the foot) but i think it's important for me to talk about some of this a little loudly, all the same. my writing has changed because of the series - remeeting with pyrr and showing them some of my more recent work was interesting since it was apparent even to them the influences i'd taken (to be fair, in one section i explicitly asked and did borrow a format of theirs, but this goes beyond that). when i was 16 i asked my mum to read the fic in a desperate bid to be understood. i've cried reading the fic many, many times. i've signed off letters and poems with my switched around version of i'm sorry / thank you / i love you (i swap the first two around) many, many, many times, including in a close friend's wedding gift. SoS has very sincerely changed my definition of love. the name halle is a part of my abstract mindscape. id already considered changing my name to johannes anyway and this fic certainly didnt help. i've gained a friendship of 7 and a half years through it. i've gained another newer one now, too. i am not well. i wasn't well then, reading it, and it hasn't fixed me (i am worse, now, arguably), but it healed something, or at least made me feel understood. i could go on, and maybe sometime i will (there were so many things i wanted to include in my piece and pay homage to!), but for now i will thank anyone who took the time to read all this (again), and say that i look forward to experiencing the sequel

PT 2: Time travel AU

"Lucifer . . . ?" Lilith whispered, eyes still droppy from waking up. Rubbing her eyes she spotted her love pacing around the pond he created.

Lucifer paced around, Adam's eyes printed in his mind. The amount of mirth and hatred nearly made Lucifer believe that it was a trick of light.

But that wouldn't explain his whole mannerism, how his smile looked cat like, wiggling his fingers as a mock goodbye.

Lucifer jolted at the feeling of arms circling around his shoulders.

"Are you alright?" Lilith murmured snuggling into the angels shoulder. When Lucifer didn't reply she peeked her head to see Lucifer in deep thought.

"Adam. . ."

Lilith perked up at the mention of her first husband, she peeked to settle it in a way where she can see Lucifers face. Lilith patiently waited for her beloved to continue.

"There's something wrong with him"

Adam cackled, watching at the side too see Michael trying to create a flower crown, in all honesty, it looked more like toilet lid. Too big and wonky.

Adam was planning to make tools so he can make his quitar, but Michael decided to drop by and check on him. The first man didn't really know what to do with Michael, afterall he was supposed to be this innocent creature without free will.

So Adam proceeded to pull an activity out of his ass. Flower crown making, seems innocent enough, some of his girls would leave them behind his desk. Viola, a bad bitch, was the softest among the exorcists.

He eventually learned how to create one when he saw her alone, creating a whole batch for all of them.

Then she got killed

At the memory Adam's mood dulled, shoulder's slumped, just a little bit. But Michael, ever the 'great captain' was observant.

He stopped fiddling with the crown assesing Adam.

Now Michael wasn't the most emotional angel, his brothers can assess to that. He has a hard time grasphing annoyance from anger. He wasn't made like Lucifer, he was a weapon for balance.

Michael let out a fake cough. "You must be feeling . . ." what was the word? "dejected"

" . . . Dejected?"

Michael almost wanted to stab himself, complex words like that, especially to a creation thats barely 300 years old, of course he wouldn't get it.

"I meant to say, you must be feeling sad?" How he worded sad made is sound like he also wasn't familiar if he was using the word correctly.

"Don't worry about it" Adam hummed easily, leaning to the side, taking the disastrous flower crown from Michaels hands. Silently he began tying the flowers stopping midway when he noted his slip up.

Fuck

Adam grinned at Michael "I mean you're here aren't you?" Nice save bitch, why don't you ask him to hold your hand and watch the constellations together.

"Um . . . cause you're my new guardian angel uhh to make me happy right? Like what Lucifer was supposed to do?"

"No"

Adam cringed at how Michael said the word 'no' he sounded scarier than Sera, and that's saying something. Nervously he began twiddling with the flowers stem, he could feel the sweat coming down his forehead. Fuck I'm caught.

Michael, unable to detect Adam's unease, continued "Lucifer wasn't allowed in the Garden, until it was his shift. However, plans have change" Michael stood up walking infront of Adam and kneeled on one leg the other extended.

"I am not here to bring you only happiness but I am also here to protect you, to guide you and to support you in anyway possible"

Adam let out a breath he didn't know he was holding, chuckling to himself. Phew.

"I see" Lilith hummed, head still on Lucifers shoulder. She hasn't noticed Adam's behaviour, she was too focused on Michael and his cold glare.

"If what you say it true then"

Denoiser wisdom

Since a lot of people showed interest in my workflow of using SD like a renderer for existing sketches, I'll be sharing the little tricks I find while exploring the capabilities of SD with Neuroslug. Read the inpainting post to understand this one. When inpainting, the model takes into consideration what is already in the area it regenerates and in the areas around it. How exactly it'll follow these guidelines is determined by denoising strength. At low values it'll stick closely to the areas of color it sees and won't create anything radically different from the base. At high denoising strength it'll gladly insert colors, shapes and silhouettes that weren't there originally. Basically the more you trust your sketch the smaller your denoising strength should be. It doesn't mean you won't need the high denoising at some point. Let me explain it using yesterday's artwork. It all starts with a rough sketch.

Since I have a particular composition in mind and want it to be maintained, I'll be using a low denoising strength to fully regenerate this image.

It means that the algorithm won't have enough freedom to fix my large-scale mistakes, it's simply not allowed to change the areas of color too dramatically. So if you want to do this yourself make sure to set the image to black and white first and check that your values are working and contrast is good.

To make sure the result isn't too cartoony and flat I used brushes with strong color jitter and threw a rather aggressive noise texture over the whole thing. This'll give the denoiser a little wiggle room to sprout details out of thin air.

It kept the composition, the suggested lighting and the majority of flowers kept their intended colors too. This was denoising strength 0f 0.4. To contrast that, same base image with denoising at 0.7:

It's pretty, but it's neither the style nor composition I wanted. Let's refine the newly redrawn base to include the details that were lost in transition. These were intended to be roses.

It's here where I learned a little trick. You can mix and match different models to achieve the look you desire. Neuroslug is good at detailed moths and painterly environments. It's not good at spitting out really detailed flowers, they end up looking very impressionist which is not what I want in foreground. So, I switched to an anime focused model and let it run wild on this bush with high (0.7) denoising strength.

Nice definition, but it looks too smooth and isn't in line with what I want. Switching back to Neuroslug with denoising at 0.5 and letting it work over these roses.

This way, I get both the silhouette and contrast of the anime model (counterfeitV30) and the matching style of Neuroslug. It's also useful in cases where the model doesn't know a particular flower. You can generate an abstract flower cluster with the anime model and use the base model to remind the AI that what you want is in fact a phlox specifically. So I did this to basically every flower cluster on the image to arrive at this:

It's still a bit of a mess but it has taken me about 80% of the way there, the rest I'll be fixing up myself.

My "Lazy Foliage" brush set was really helpful for this. I'll release that one once it accumulates enough brushes to be really versatile. Now we block in the character.

Yes, I left the hands wonky since I intend to be drawing them manually later, same about the foot. There's so much opportunity for the AI to mess them up that I'd rather have all the control on these details.

When it renders the face it can really mess up everything, so I do it with low (0.45) denoising strength to discourage new eyes popping up in inappropriate places. Take note that I kept the antennae out of the mask. AI is easily confused when one subject overlaps the other.

Good, good. Wait. Why are your eyes hairy? Now, mask out the eyes, remove all mention of fur from the prompt and

That's about right. Since the eyes are all one color block I can afford to raise the denoising strength for more wild results. Same for areas of just fluff on the entire body, it's all one texture and having the denoiser at 0.6-0.75 is beneficial because it's going to add locks, stray hairs and other fluffy goodness. Just make sure to not make the mask too tight to the silhouette, it needs some space to add hairs sticking out.

With the skirt it was back to really low denoising. The folds I blocked in make sense with the position oh her legs under it, so I didn't want it to be lost.

Lastly, I drew in a flower that she's planting and ran over it with moderately high denoising to make it match the surrounding style. Ignore the biblically accurate roots there, I'll fix them by hand.

One last pass over the whole thing in Procreate. I draw the hands and add details such as the round pseudopupils, face ridges and wing markings to keep the character consistent with the previous image of her. And a bit of focal blur for a feeling of depth. Phew, even with generous use of AI this whole thing took an entire day of work. In the end what determines quality isn't the tool you use but the attention you choose to pay to finding inconsistencies and fixing them.

Please note that all tub colours have a blue-ish center, and it will be more visible with original water. That’s to make the jacuzzi look better when it’s turned on. Otherwise the water looks dull AND you can see too much of the wonky underwater woohoo anims.

And about the water morphs : there are four out of original nine, but it’s enough to make the animation look decent.

Goth DIY: Altered Clothing part 1

Since some of you crafty goths were interested in seeing the clothing I've altered, I decided to compile it all in one place! I hope I can inspire your creations,give you ideas, and teach you new techniques. This will be a long post, since I've been making alterations to my clothing since high school, which also means some of these projects aren't as polished as others, since they were made when I was newer to DIY and have mistakes I've since learned from, but that's okay! Goth doesn't have to be polished and perfect, and don't let the fear of mistakes stop you from creating!

I've already done posts about the shorts and pants I've gothified, so part 1 will focus on t-shirts, camisoles, and button-up shirts. Part 2 will have sweaters, skirts, and dresses. Some alterations are as easy as adding safety pins or lace trim, and others involve more sewing. Lots of these are very beginner-friendly projects and take less than an hour. All of these items were completely plain when I got them--anything metal, lace, embroidered, or painted that you see was added by me. I'll add more about each garment in the image descriptions. As always, feel free to message me if you want better or more thorough instructions or DIY advice. I'm here to be a resource to my fellow crafters! <3

(Also, please pardon the cat hair and my hair on the clothes--I don't take perfect pictures. A couple pics are also old since those shirts are in storage so I could make room for my winter wardrobe, so you'll notice a change in backdrop and a dirty mirror.)

Let's start with t-shirts and camisoles! Use an old shirt, a thrifted shirt, a shirt from Walmart, etc.! I like to get plain unisex t-shirts from Walmart and paint on them using freezer paper stencils, bleach them, shred them, and/or add safety pins to them. The camis also came from Walmart, and I changed the necklines and added lace trim to make them cuter.

To make a sweetheart neckline on a cami, you can cut it, or you can just pinch the middle and sew it into place (I did that for all of them except the black and white one--that one ended up a little lower-cut than I meant it to, so I decided to stick with the pinching method). The lace trim I used on the black camis isn't stretchy, but still works just fine, as long as you pin it into place while you're wearing the shirt and stretch the shirt a bit as you sew to maintain stretch in those areas. Stretchy lace, like I used on the pink and red camis, works a bit better, but is harder to find. I still like pinning the lace while I'm wearing the shirt to get the placement down, but if you wear a bra, make sure you're wearing the one you plan on wearing with the shirt while placing the lace. I found it doesn't sit right with bras that fit a little differently than the one I based the placement on.

The long-sleeved Emily the Strange shirt has a neat detail, albeit a wonky one because my placement is a bit off sometimes. You'll notice two little striped triangles at the bottom. I cut slits in the shirt and added triangles of striped stretchy fabric, then sewed zippers over top of them to hide the seams and add extra detail. I also sewed the zippers on with red thread for contrast.

My button-ups are a bit more involved. I treat them like how I treat shorts--patches, lace, embroidery, pins, grommet tape, D-rings, charms, chains, oh my! The pink one is my most recent, and I'm so proud of it. All of the patches came from ToothxNail on Etsy, except the Rat King patch, which came from Katiewhittleart on Etsy. The flowers on the collar were buttons that I glued onto flat-back pins from a craft store (I used E6000 glue). Made super quick collar pins that I can remove when washing the shirt or put on something else when I want.

The orange button-up was by far the simplest. I just added lace trim to the cuffs and cropped it (it had been high-low, but I wanted to wear it tucked into a skirt and the long back was annoying me). I also added collar clips with a chain that I got at a craft fair, but that's more like styling an accessory with it than altering it, since I can just un-clip them.

The leather jacket is old and doesn't fit well, so I don't wear it anymore, but I kept it because it was my first leather jacket. Adding the sew-on studs and faux-fur trim on the neck took the longest. You'll also notice that a mouse chewed a hole in the outer shell on the pocket.

Since he plays a lot of games like FIFA and GTA, he usually plays those while you do your thing

Idk why but I also feel like he would be the type of guy to have a spotless apartment? Takes pride in his cleanliness so he’s usually cleaning the apartment while you game

To him, gaming is kind of his thing to do when he wants to be alone? Even when he’s playing with other people it’s kind of like his private time

So when you’re playing with your friends he lets you have space!

He and Jean are probably the two gamers who would want to spend more time with you outside of the apartment doing things anyway!

But if you want to play with him he’s totally down!

He’s a pretty casual gamer but you can still expect him to get heated, especially if he thinks someone is targeting you or cheating

Eventually he starts to insists on you being in their discord call while they’re playing just so that he can talk to you while you’re playing your own solo game or something!

Don’t get me wrong he still likes his private gaming time and thinks you deserve your own gaming time! But he quickly warms up to the idea of you being together and sharing that time together

REINER:

Okay I love Reiner to pieces yeah? But this man does not understand video games before he meets you

He just doesn’t understand the point??

“Why not just go outside and do something, love?”

He’ll comfort you if you get emotional playing a game like the Last of Us, but then he’ll ruin it by saying “I mean, they’re all dead when you think about it, yeah? They've never actually been alive! They’re not real, sweetie”

But he’s trying to comfort you I promise

I think if there was a game you could get him to play it would be a Dark Souls/Elden Ring type game! I think the dramatic music and fight scenes would pique his interest as he walks past your desk

After watching you fight Malenia or something he says he’ll give it a try

And then he loses to the Tree Sentinel and you have to comfort him. “Babe, that’s kind of the point, you have to go and level up first!” He thought he could impress you oh lord

Otherwise he’d love to watch you play Stardew Valley! Loves the characters and thinks that the heart events are super special

You might be able to convince him to start his own game of Stardew Valley, but he’s busy a lot and feels guilty about ‘abandoning them’, so he prefers to watch you play!

Will also cook you dinner and make sure your water is full while you play! He likes to watch you play and loves seeing you all happy when you’re winning

Sometimes he will try and hug you while you’re playing because he loves seeing you do something you love, but then you have to remind him that you’re in the middle of a game!

“So how was your game!” “It was good! Eren always plays aggro so he took most of the attention away from me!” “There’s a character named Eren in your game? Huh,” it takes him a second to understand that you’re playing with REAL PEOPLE

LEVI:

Just like Reiner (honestly all of these men who don’t understand video games) he doesn’t see the point? Like why not go outside and do something?

Kind of rolls his eyes at the games you play despite him not knowing about them

But he secretly takes pride in the fact that you’re sometimes the one taking control and bossing the others around

He’ll hear you tell Eren to shut up so you can focus and he’ll sneak behind you and peer over your head, maybe smooth out your hair a bit to let you know he’s there

You can talk to him about your games and he’ll listen but he’ll definitely not understand any of it

He’ll respond with a lot of “Ah”s and “Oh, I see” and “..is that good or bad?”

Silently brings you tea when you’re playing late and will usually stay up reading on the couch while you do! He’s a classy guy, likes to go to bed with you

Sometimes he’ll fall asleep on the couch so you have to wake him up :(

He just kind of shuffles over and wordlessly invites you to sleep with him there, cradled in his arms on the couch

I don’t think there’s any way you could get him to play a video game though, sorry

It was a comfy day in the neighborhood, the sun was shinning, a few clouds could be saw in the sky, it was a little windy but not enough to be annoying, just a perfect day of spring, a perfect day for the season who is considered the season of love, a perfect day in the month of love to confess to his dear crush, that's what Wally thinked the first moment he wake up, having the sensation than this was gonna be his day, ready to confess his love to you. He walked in the neighborhood, greeting his friends, knowing he already had a lovely bouquet of flowers in home, ready to be given to you, all was perfect... so ever since i drew that lil thing of essek painting a frank stella inspired painting (or even before), ive been thinking of what kinds of art each of the m9 would do. essek ofc is inspired by a minimalist show that i went to here, all the big names from that movement were shown, but those really dark, sinkhole-like paintings are speaking to me. another artwork of boxes made of mirrors also seems like the thing he would do too

there's a kiln here that we visited which was huge, and surrounding it were artists' studios and some other ceramic sellers, i imagine the clay family having a place like this in the middle of nowhere amongst the trees, and caleb would do his work there

anyways because at heart im a shadowgast luver its centred around them,, they meet at an artist residency or something like that and its an incredibly slow burn that involves talking and not-talking and looking and not-looking. in the end i am but a simple wong kar wai fan so. that kinda vibes would definitely influence this, i would describe it as a quiet burning i guess?? time skipy and words that are not said

i think im gonna rant a bit more about their different mediums and styles so i'll keep it under the cut

i think caleb sculpts figures and portraits, but in a sad, kathe kollwitz charcoal vibe. maybe some funky looking animals, perhaps some pots and vases to look at the pretty glazes. he's interested in using fire to burn texture into different mediums, like ive seen it being used on shellac to make a really cool net of ink looking structure.. but yknow, just seeing the aftermath of glazed ceramic from the kiln is enough, and probably better for him to keep his distance anyways

the clay family produces most of the ceramic to sell, vases, pots, plates, cups, teapots, yknow just a whole array. and its really colourful too, depicting every family members different style. i think caduceus would do some matte glazes with a lot of different colours, theyre all a little wonky but theyre better off that way anyways. he does some really mean ink calligraphy and painting though

jester definitely does,, everything, whatever her heart desires kinda thang. she makes pastel textile installations and lighthearted cute paintings, but theyre always so contemplative and soothing. she gets m9 a lot of work cus her mom has connections, etc etc. i really love the idea of jester creating works that talk about the female body and femininity (definitely not projecting no)

beau is a printmaker and photographer who's really experimental, she loves cyanotypes and printing flowers (for yasha), idk she seems like she would put fabric and rocks into the washing machine to see what would happen. u would probably catch her in someone elses studio learning about what they do or in the library learning about what old people did

veth works in a museum as a curator, getting beau to help her sometimes with gathering artworks and artists etc. she probably organises community art projects for kids and public art installations. her house is full of m9's artworks and various other artists shes worked with.

yasha does bouquets as her post-retirement part time job, prior to that no one really knows what she did ("she probably murdered a bunch of people and is now hiding from the government"). fjord draws comics for fun but is also not a job for him, molly is a question mark for me. but these guys probably wont be in it as much anyways

im still not sure what format i wanna do this in, im actually having fun just writing it in my notebook now (digital does not facilitate the creative juices) but i do want to do some visuals like fake movie stills or storyboards. maybe they will work together well???? dunno. working on the other shadowgasty thing im doing made me realise how much easier it is to draw when there's a script already there, so im writing the script for myself

im definitely not as practiced in writing as i am in drawing, but idk im just gonna have some fun and see where that takes me, meanwhile try not to feel too bad that its fanart HAHA (very bad habit)

I never noticed this but the background is kinda........wonky. I've been around half-timbered houses (i think that's the name) for all my life so I knew something looked a bit off.

The wood beams(?) look like a mess. All of them but here some specific examples. They don't have to be all symmetrical but it is more typical, logical and prettier. The spacing is irregular and so is the thickness of them. Even factoring perspective and the usual imperfections, these are a bit toooo wonky to be intentional.

Here is a picture from the (german) wikipedia page about half-timbered houses to compare to. Obv there are different types of houses depending on a lot of factors but i chose the one most similiar to the ones in the drawing.

Some things don't even make sense bc what is that thin string on the window? A curtain? Outside? And the timbers have white stripes for some reason. Also, why is the roof next to it reflecting the sky or whatever is happening to have this blue space/line. The flowers and plants are so mushy and blurry you can barely distinguish any details.

I know it's just the background and people usually don't pay any attention to it but it's just so weird and noticable, for me at least. I don't wanna say they used....a....i....but how else is this possible? If you draw something, whether you like it or not, there is some amount of thought or vibe behind it. How was anyone OK with drawing this? Even amateurs wouldn't make such decisions. I'm not trying to bash prettybusy but with the rampant disease that is called "AI Art" and the growing disrespect against art(ist), I wanted to mention this somehow. If I'm wrong (I hope) and it's really just some poor overworked lad, then I feel bad for roasting the artwork so much 😭

The three of you sat around the coffee table, debating about the upcoming birthday of your twin daughters.

By now all you had agreed on was the dlower theme to match their names. One wanted a big party, the other something small, and the last really wanted to go to bed since it was 1AM already and you weren't a single step closer to completing this planner.

"Can we puhleeease just decide on the cake and call it a day? I need sleep, I have work tomorrow.." You whined at them and dropped your head onto your crossed arms.

"Seriously if you don't decide right now I'm calling Marcus and do it myself."

"Chocolate cake, obviously."

"Vanilla, for sure."

"Alright screw this. I'm off to bed." You grabbed your mug and brought it to the sink before going past the table again to kiss both boys goodnight and head off. "Goodnight you two."

A defeated sigh left Lip's lips. "I don't get why she's so moody about all of this." He looked over the list of things that still needed to be decided on with multiple scribbled notes at the sides.

"The girls' birthday is nice, but you're forgetting that day was a nightmare come true for their mom." Carmen's comment had Lip take back his complaint, he felt bad remembering how you'd wake up crying night after night in the first weeks after the babies were born.

"How about half chocolate half vanilla for the cake?" Lip had taken a new piece of paper and scribbled a wonky looking cake shape, splitinto two half circles with one end saying 'vanilla' and 'chocolate' on the other. He kept writing on each side, ending with the girls' names on either side and their favorite color decorations written down as well. He turned the paper and slid it over to Carmy to inspect.

"Yeah, looks good to me. We'll ask momma tomorrow." Carmy took your list and checked off the cake bit. They moved on to the next box: drinks. A small 'alcohol?' Next to it as a means to ask the boys later. "I know I can keep my hands off it now. I'm in a good place"

So they agree on a small 'yes' next to your question, count how many people gou plan to invite and write down the amount of drinks to order for the bigger and smaller guest amount options.

A little "run by mom" note next to it in a bright color.

"Do we get their flowers for decoration?"

"What snacks are we getting? And, buying or preparing them ourselves?"

The questions that come along with your written list each took a short while to answer now that they each finally set aside the ideal birthdays they had in mind and listened to what the other had to bring to the table. They know they're stubborn and have butt heads from time to time. Hell, it led to you leaving them to figuring this out on their own just now.

"We should get momma something too."

They discussed some more before calling it a night and going to sleep.

The next morning you wormed yourself out from between them and out of bed to head to work. Your morning routine was a simple one with Rose and Lily being the easiest kids ever when it came to breakfast. You woke, fed and burped each one before putting them back to bed and gurning the volume on the baby monitor all the way up so your boys would wake up if the girls got fussy.

On your way past the dinner table you found almost the entire birthday planned out from decorations to guest lists and drinks. You only had time for a quick glance so leaving a little "let's look after dinner" note was your final action before heading out.

Together you gave everything a once-over and settled on all the details fairly quickly that evening and the party was better than expected with so many lovely gifts from both Carmy's and Lip's families. Flower themed cake and little cupcakes were available as your little girls were pampered and smothered with cuddles and kisses from everyone.

After the party was over and the girls were asleep you happily cleaned up together and went off to bed. The boys wanted to have one last smoke before joining you and came in with a small box wrapped in a little bow.

"We know today is our baby girls' day," Lip started as he sat down on one side of the bed.

"But you deserve something special too." Carmy added as he sat down on the opposite side and handed you the small box.

Opening the box you couldn't keep your eyes off the thin gold chain with an engraved heart shaped pendant on it.

The front read 'Momma' in a beatiful cursive lettering, and the back had both Lip and Carmy's full names on them.

At this point, Crowley was used to discovering Aziraphale in an explosion of new craft supplies. Practically every week, he walked in and found his angel happily tackling a new project. Most of those projects would wind up being abandoned, mind, but the important bit was that Aziraphale was having fun.

Yarn was the most common addition to the cottage, buckets of the stuff for whatever overcomplicated project Aziraphale had picked up now. Sometimes those projects did get finished. For instance, Mr. Slithers, Aziraphale’s massive snake plush. Or Mr. Quackers, Crowley’s not-so-massive duck plush. But most of the time, the yarn ended up in carefully organized storage bins somewhere in the cottage.

As Crowley stared at the living room, he desperately hoped he wouldn’t need to find somewhere to store all of this. It would clash with the decor, for one thing.

“Why the deuce are you painting a whole bunch of little houses?” he finally asked. “And why are they pink?”

“Oh!” Aziraphale jumped, and his paintbrush went flying. Crowley snapped his fingers to stop it from hitting the beige carpet. “Hello, my dear. Didn’t hear you come in. Did you have a good drive? How are you?”

“Mystified.”

“Ah, yes. I suppose this is a bit…” Aziraphale glanced around at the chaos, chunks of wood and sawdust and drops of pink paint on the dark brown coffee table. “Well. I know this isn’t quite my ordinary hobby.”

“Not exactly, no.” Wincing at the ache in his hips, Crowley sank down to sit on the floor too. At least this would take the pressure off his feet, which were annoyingly sore. “Seriously, though. Why are you woodworking in the living room?”

“I suppose the garage might have been a better place,” Aziraphale said thoughtfully.

“It would not.” Crowley shuddered at the thought of pink paint spattering his Bentley. “Look, if you decide this is a hobby you wanna pick up, I’ll build you a workshop.”

Aziraphale beamed at him. “Oh, you are sweet.”

“M’ not.”

“At any rate.” Aziraphale gestured to the plethora of pink domiciles. “I was out for a walk in the garden, just enjoying the butterflies and birds and flowers. And it occurred to me that we don’t have any bird cottages!”

“Birdhouses,” Crowley corrected.

“Oh, I think bird cottages sounds so much cuter, don’t you?”

“No.”

“So I thought, well, I can create all sorts of things now! I’ve had an awful lot of fun with all of them. And I thought that if I could figure out how to make Mr. Slithers,” Aziraphale indicated the massive snake plush, which looked as unimpressed with the state of the living room as Crowley felt, “I could certainly master woodworking. I think it’s going rather well, really.”

“Er, yeah. It is.” Crowley studied the birdhouses. Some of them were kind of wonky, like the first several pairs of socks Aziraphale had made. But the later ones looked terrific. “Out of interest, though, why are they all pink?”

“Oh. Um.” Frowning as if it hadn’t occurred to him, Aziraphale studied the bright pink birdhouses. “Hmm. It’s just such a beautiful color. And it seemed like it would match well.”

“Match?” Crowley gave a meaningful look at Aziraphale’s outfit, and then his own. Then he looked around at all the decidedly not-pink decor of the living room. “Match what? We don’t have anything else that color.”

“Oh, no. Not in here!” Aziraphale waved a hand towards the window. “Out there, in the garden! It’ll match your roses and such.”

That was an annoyingly good point, and Crowley had to scramble to think of a protest. “Most of my roses are red.”

“Not all of them. And anyway, pink is a sort of red.”

“It’s not.”

“It is!” Aziraphale pouted a little, and Crowley growled. “I wanted to paint little flowers and such on them—I have other colors right there—but I don’t really know how. I haven’t painted much.”

“Looks like you’ve painted a lot,” Crowley said as sarcastically as possible, indicating the village of pink birdhouses.

“But not flowers.” Aziraphale pouted even more dramatically. “You’ve painted so much, though. Will you help me?”

He turned on the big pleading eyes. Crowley sighed, reaching for a paintbrush of his own. “Of course I’ll help you, angel.”

After laying out a plastic drip cloth—the already painted bits of the carpet could be miracled away later—Crowley helped with the flowers, leaves, and tiny little birds. Aziraphale watched for a bit, then joined in on the painting.

“This is so fun,” Aziraphale said after a bit. “I think I ought to have started painting simply ages ago! Perhaps I’ll take that up, as well.”

“Please, for Somebody’s sake, let me put you in a proper studio for that.” Crowley set down the birdhouse he’d just finished annointing with white flowers. Some of the others were still tacky, but the first group had dried enough to decorate. “You’ve turned the living room into a construction site, and a messy one at that.”

“I’m afraid I did go a tiny bit wild flinging paint around.” Aziraphale bit his lip, painstakingly adding yellow centers to his flowers. Then he blew out a long breath and moved to sit beside Crowley. “Oh my, that was such fun. Can we hang them up now?”

Crowley glanced at the rows of houses. “We’ve only painted four. There’s still a dozen left.”

“Oh, I think it’s more than a dozen.” Giggling, Aziraphale caught his paint-spattered hand and squeezed. “But those can wait. I want to hang these bird cottages up as soon as they’re done drying! And then get a snack.”

Which meant the other ones would definitely wind up in storage until the next time Aziraphale got a whim to continue. Squeezing his hand, Crowley leaned over and kissed him. “Sure, angel. Whatever you like.”

thoughts on pottery date with hanma

it's such a domestic thing to him that he's a little put off by the suggestion at first. you're on the back of his bike, watching him smoke and racking your brain for something cute you could do with this man that wasn't illegal or bound to get you in trouble — and then it hits you!

you've taken a pottery class before, and it'd been fun. so when you remember that the art college nearby is having an open day, you make a decision. “so, shuji...”

when you give him the idea, he laughs at first. “you want me to walk in ‘n spin a lil flower pot with you? a vase? what, is this your way of tellin’ me i should be getting my pretty doll some flowers next time, hm?”

and then he realizes you're serious.

imagine him sitting awkwardly on one of the little stools by the wheel, watching you shape a blob of clay with the tools you'd been handed, content with just watching you bec each group that came in was given just a single wheel.

he's so cute 😭 with his knees to his chest because his legs are so long and he's sitting so low, not knowing what to do with his hands while he waits for your creation to take shape. he's so out of his element </3

everyone's quiet and playing nice at their own corners and shuji has never stepped foot into a college building in his life before, he just doesn't know how to act. he's quiet enough that you check up on him every now and then, wondering if this was really a good idea—

“shuji, baby, you alright?” “shuji, are you having fun?” to which he responds with a simple nod or tells you “dollface i hafta be doing somethin’ before i can say if it's fun or not.”

some of the others milling around the other wheels in the room have so many tattoos, and so many people have dyed hair and wild haircuts that he doesn't look out of place exactly, but his aura still has people glancing over at the two of you. not that he minds.

he watches you patiently, because hey, if you're okay with walking into underground fight clubs with him and watching him fight, and letting him into your house at 1am to patch up his bruises and injuries, he should be a good boyfriend and enjoy whatever you want him to do with you, too. and when you finally finish with your near-perfect bowl and let him try out the wheel and ribs himself, he ends up having more fun than he thought he would<3

hanma has big palms and long, deft fingers and so even though he's never done this before in his life, he gets the hang of it pretty quick. but he's still never done this before.

his brows furrow together with focus as he runs the sponge on the inside of his spinning clay and gently touches the sides of it with the ribs. he gets clay on his chin, on his shirt and it's all over his hands in a muddy mess 😭 ++ the work comes out little better than a wonky blob.

there's time for a clean up and a little tea break while the class waits for their things to dry, and hanma notices the much bigger, more complicated models people have made and feels sheepish as he stares at his blob. he feels better when you tug at his sleeve and giggle about it though, because even if you're making fun of him at least you're having a good time<3

“what's it supposed to be?” you ask, and he runs a hand through his hair, a little embarrassed as he admits in a gruff voice, “a flower vase. for you... don't fuckin’ laugh, baby.”

“for me?” you pout sweetly, and he rolls his eyes, snipping at your nose with two fingers and cracking a grin when you dodge with a yelp. and on the way home, with your bowl and his blob flower vase carefully wrapped in newspaper and stored in your bag, he tells you that he did have fun.

“we could... do more of that if y’like.” he blushes despite himself when you hug him from behind, half of your laughter lost in the wind as he swerves his motorcycle to take a right. he glances into the mirror, heart fluttering just a bit when he sees your smile. he's glad you can't see his face right now. he feels the heat on his cheeks well enough.

“never fuckin’ mind.” he drawls, teasing. “i'm never doin’ that again then. zero outta ten, dollface.”

“no!” you protest, grabbing his shirt and pinching his side a little, and fuck it fucking tickles, he almost crashes you both into a passing tree — and he tells you so.

“might as well die if you're never gonna make an ugly ass flower vase with me again,” you huff, moving your hands onto his shoulders instead. and he smiles, knows you feel his smile when you reach over to pull his cheek.

he really did enjoy it, so much more than he thought he would. and he knew you'd be displaying his ugly ass flower vase on the sill of your living room window anyway.

maybe next time he comes over, he really will get you some flowers — for you to put into it and look at them, and think of him whenever he's not around<3

Hanma isn’t one for celebrating big on holidays. Though he will make the exception if it’s with you. And if you’re really big on valentine’s, Hanma will make sure that you get whatever you want! He’ll make sure that the night you spend is an unforgettable one! So he kinda hints to you that you’ll be doing something together that day. But Hanma himself isn’t sure, he kinda just wings it tbh bc he’s a “spur” in the moment kinda guy. Hanma comes to your doorstep with cute little necklaces that have rings w/ engravings in it that are either super cheesy or an inside joke yall have. Hanma takes you for a ride on his motorcycle and you both end up at a secluded area that’s got a nice view of hills or a lake. But on the way over, he had placed rose petal trails which then leads to a small picnic with a tent bc he wants to camp there with you that night. 

Baji. Baji. Baji. He isn’t one who LOVES v-day, but he does look forward to the way your eyes light up whenever you both pass by all the cute decor, flowers, cards etc at stores. Baji never fails to give you the world on v-day. Though he does it on any other day, but on the 14th he makes sure to remind you that he loves you immensely in his own way. Valentine’s Day with Baji consists of a breakfast date, with him handing you a bouquet of (whatever your favorite thing is) along with a little shadow box he made with little photos and trinkets of things you did together. Baji likes to shower you extra with compliments and will not hesitate to be your personal photographer that day bc you look so cute dressed up all for him. You guys both alternate with activities so in the afternoon, you’ll spoil Baji a bit and take him shopping for some clothes that he’s been wanting for a while. After, you’ll share an ice cream and feed him bc he lowkey loves it when you pamper him. Baji enjoys your company out all the things you can do for him, so taking him to the movies or maybe even a fight club?? When he receives your gift, which is a cd with an album cover of you two that contains a playlist of songs you both like he is swooning! MIKEY loves valentine’s day because of all the snacks and treats that come with it. He isn’t one to love the aesthetic of it but he’ll be happy if it’s something that involves pastries. And that’s what it’s alllllll about lmao. Every year you mix it up and like to surprise him with foreign pastries but also will handmake him some because you want it to have some meaning to it. And Mikey is a sucker for it. Especially if it comes out wonky. It makes his heart swell because he knows that you worked super hard on it and he’ll devour it and leave no crumbs. “That was so delicious love! You should make these again some day!” Mikey is extra sweet on V-day and is very clingly and will snuggle you and smother you with kisses. “I just love you so much baby, you’re the cutest I wish I could keep you in my pocket forever.” Mikey also loves giving you cheesy love cards (like the meme formatted ones) and will leave some hidden around the house. Maybe like a couple weeks before the actual day he’ll find time and hide them and will act clueless about them. “Oh I wonder who put that there... seems he really wants you to be his valentine haha...” Mikey sees how hard you work on the pastries you make him and he decides to return the favor by making you something too. So he goes to those stores where he picks out a stuffed animal and customizes it in a way that reminds him of you. (The way you dress, accessories, etc) and will have a little recorded message inside that is him reminding you that he loves you a ton!

Chifuyu is always a nervous wreck the first week and a half of Feb. And that’s because he always tries to make this valentine’s better than the last. And he’s very keen on making each one extraordinary because he believes that his princess deserves the entire universe and all the good it has to offer. He’s so romantic, it makes Baji and Kazutora gag a little bit, but they’re always willing to help him with his endeavors. Chifuyu likes to gift you small meaningful gifts but also loves to go along with traditional gifts too. He will definitely gift you one of his hoodies that you love wearing and will spray it with cologne. He also will write you love letters about your first date, kiss, sex, etc. And he waits until you’re together to read it to you and it’s so cute because he’s literally shaking and sweating and stuttering bc it’s you and you’re looking all cute there just looking at him with heart eyes and he doesn’t know what to do with himself.
