Y'all I am losing my mind, I need to say it.

Do you know how amazingly written this scene is??? Do you understand?

Rogue removes the glove and instinctively (out of raw desire and need for connection) tries to touch Magneto's face but stops herself because it's the kind of intimacy that creates tension. She realizes she doesn't want to step into muddy waters, instead she waits for his hand. And he gladly and respectfully accepts it. And not only that - he understands it's an exchange of safe, grounded intimacy that is extended to him and he proceeds to take her hand in his, but also to place his other hand on top of hers.

They nicely seal this scene with Storm’s words; 'to feel another soul finally seeing yours'. Because they do. They've seen each other at their best, and they've seen each other at their worst (when one has failed the other or when they have been too quick to pass judgment onto each other). And that gesture reads to me as "I see you, and I want to believe in you. And this situation in which we are now, how we got here - absolutely sucks, but I am glad you are here."

That’s always been Rogue and Magneto in a nutshell for me. I am in tears about how well handled this moment was. And if the rest of the season will descend into drama, jealous love, conflicts and if it will all burn to the ground so be it (hope it won't be the case) - but you will always find me here, in this moment.

currently thinking about Carmen being that boyfriend who buys every snack or drink you mention in ridiculously large quantities and just keeps them in his pantry/fridge for when you come over.

sandman fandom i need your help with something! so quick back story I bought the individual issues of the whole brief lives arc! the thing is this are from an original 1995 run and from an editorial in my country that no longer exists ——>

i realized that in the back of the final issue there’s a collection of illustrations by various sandman artists which is pretty cool! BUT here’s the rub who is this guy???

caption for this is “ aesthetic gentleman” artist unknow mixed media 1889 which leads me to believe that —- this is Hob Gadling???? I’m pretty sure too that this is an illustration by Michael Zulli who did the art for A Men of Good Fortune??? And in so happens that this particular artists loves adding a lot of symbolism for his work and it’s responsible for this two infamous pieces THAT ALSO have flowers/ roses symbolism in them??

Am I crazy? What do you guys think? Does anybody can confirm if this is Hob? I’ve asked other people if their copies of Brief Lives have this illustration but nobody seems to know anything about it!

I know a lot hasn’t been released about it but it sounds like they’re rebranding dr who or something. Like something about nuwho is over now. What does that even mean and why is RTD tryna push it. It was acceptable to have a reboot in 2005 and restart the series count bc it had been 16yrs since dr who was on air. But it’s just so random that they’re tryna reboot it now like sure the ratings were down but it’s not like it went off air. Also calling series 14 season 1 is just so unnecessarily confusing, and although it may make it seem easier for new fans to get into the show, because you know they’re starting at season 1. But it’s actually just gonna be more confusing for new fans because now they 3 season 1’s to deal with, and three specials that follow on from 4th series of the 1st reboot (2nd version?) of dr who. I mean I’m struggling to understand it now and I’ve been a fan for over a decade, how’s it going to be better for new fans if that’s even the reason they’re doing this.
