my professor wants me to write out G-d’s name fully (with the o and no dash) in my academic papers. my Rabbi says that’s okay as long as the papers are never printed out (and therefore eventually thrown away, erasing His name). so i would have to email her and confirm that she never prints the papers out to grade them or anything but i feel really awkward about it. has anybody else ever had to deal with this and has advice about what I should do? what if she does print the papers out? i just don’t want to come off as annoying…

Gang, help me out. For basically all my life I've only used hand me down mma gloves or boxing gloves. However, I recently received new mma gloves and hand wraps, which I've never used in a class or friendly spar before. When I was a kiddo we had a singular shitty pad that people were rarely willing to hold for me and no bag to do a ponchy punch. Much like the present where I have thai pads and no feeder. I never needed to use wraps at my old academy, and obviously not for shadow boxing or the other martial arts I've trained. But now that I have them.... Please. For the love of fucking god. Can SOMEBODY tell me if there's a quicker way to roll them back up Do I just have to get used to gently twisting this long ass strip of cloth till I have my tiny fabric roll or is there Any. Possible. Way. T o m a k e i t e a s i e r.
