another fic you could do art of is marginalia!!! it’s so so good and there are so many scenes I would kill to see… also, have you read that’s the art of getting by??
I'm reading Marginalia when I have the time, but sometimes I need a little bit of fluff, a couple of days ago I finished the art of getting by, and I loved it. It's too cute!
but the fluffy fic that I can't get out of my head is Beneath a Big Blue Sky…. omg Sirius with a sheep?! I'm fighting too hard not to spend a week drawing just that.
Lately, I'm reading more Wips than finished works, basically because it's a way to contain myself and not spend the day lying on the couch crying about the kind of love relationship I'd love to have.
And I just love the excitement of waiting for the next chapters, even if I find myself waiting until 3 am on Mondays for ATWMD by Rollercoasterwords, it's always worth it.
The other WIP I'm reading is Let's Play Pretend by MsAlexWP
is sooo good, and so cute, I strongly recommend it.

So she stood here now, feeling like a teenager with her first crush. Which…this was in many ways, she reflected. Sola had chosen her clothes with more care than she normally did, deciding on a mix of blues for her flowing top and the more fitted skirt. The knee high boots were new brown leather and slightly uncomfortable, but she was aware they looked good and, kriff, she was a bit pathetic.
But she decided she didn’t care. He was worth it and she wanted to make him speechless if she could.
She moved quietly and deliberately through the busy lounge, drawing some glances, but not too much attention. Civilians were on board after all, with relative frequency.
Young Scraps saw her first and his eyes widened where he stood faithfully near the Admiral as he worked. She shook her head and put a finger to her lips. He grinned at her, sweet boy, and inclined his head.
She approached and admired the spine of the man she loved. It was presented to her as he was bent over his work, writing something with a stylus, another datapad near him and two empty tea cups on the table. His cap was discarded neatly beside him on the sofa and his hair was slightly rumpled, just the way she loved, which meant he’d run his hands through it a few times. She adored the slight curl and the sprinkle of grey at his temples.

The way that at guy-who-rejected-me-months-ago's house after the study, his dad sat down right next to me (opposite him) and struck up conversation while he glanced at us. Me like, 'Yeah that sounds interesting, what was your reaction to the idea of me as a daughter-in-law about this idea? That's cool, your smiles are almost exactly the same....'

something that needs to be mentioned as well is the power of the writers. we know Tommy wasn't supposed to be on that rescue but then it worked out that way with him being there. and they managed to take this unlikable man dude who had very little redemption arc (until 7x03) into a love interest that most of us are rooting for really hard and actually enjoying so much and they did that within like an episode and half. not even talking about the fact it is a love interest to our Buck who we wanted to be with Eddie and no-one else for years now! it's just *chef's kiss* they slayed so hard with this storyline. none of us saw that coming. it is a crack ship come reality.

never forget...
read again?
no you did not see me repost this, shh
hemlo!! thank ya'll so so much for enjoying this lil comic series!! i know it's been a year since the first part, but most importantly i finished it 💀✨️
every single tags ya'll leave on me posts and past questions i recieve about this au is super appreciated, they make me smile the widest you have no clue!! im just a lil mad at myself that i couldn't expand on this au more so yall could have had more crumbs. irl stuff happened + still getting the hang of drawing and socializing again after years of doing neither of those 😭
but still, im glad i could share this comfort comic i made for myself, and for you guys too. it's a pretty personal one despite the characters not being mine 😅 i hope that you can walk away from this story believing (entirely or not) that someone out there still thinks of you, whether they're from a late/absent loved one who still wants the best for you or a dear friend who will make room in their hearts for you. life will never not be hard, but if you keep them close to your heart, adulting will be bearable 🫂
thank you so much for reading 💕
