Hey, are you well-informed about pokeani stuffs? If you do, do you know what happened to Haruka/May's JP VA?

She is the only one who hasn't returned so my concern somehow goes there. (And Lillie too but that's another concern.)

I'm not entirely sure what happened, but years ago, according to Bulbapedia it was in 2012, KAORI has been diagnosed with a severe health condition affecting her larynx, severely impairing her ability to speak. Basically throat issues.

Due to having become a fan in early gen 7 era, I'm not very familiar with how well her health condition was known in the fandom, so someone else might know better. But it's pretty much in the known she retired from voice acting and is unlikely to return due to this health condition.

I think I remember hearing she went through a surgery regarding it, but don't quote me on that, someone might remember/know better than I.

He could not say anything since he remembered he was not supposed to help her. A small part of him wished he could comfort her from all happening since that was the most sickening last sentence he got to know. Maybe because he felt something for her, he didn't want to think about it so he just handed her back the paper and stayed in silence.

Do you have thoughts on Legends Arceus?? If you know one or two spoilers, please put it under Read More (because I know some are not happy unless you do so.)

I actually don’t have the game though I plan to get it someday or just watch a playthrough but from the beginning, I always thought it was an AMAZING concept!! And for gen 4 no less!!! I have a lot of fond memories playing Pearl and Platinum, and I’ve always wanted a pokemon game in an rpg style, plus I also love Japanese traditions so honestly it’s my dream game. Fingers crossed I can get a switch to play it someday ✨

I will say for the record that Akari’s outfit is my fav trainer outfit in the entire series though. It looks so comfy 🤍🤍

Do you think that Iris and Serena are misinterpreted and why?? I feel that some fans misunderstood them and idk why.

Oh yes. Definitely.

I have actually been thinking about how Serena is often seen as “just a girl with a crush“ and Iris as a “annoying brat who keeps calling Satoshi a kid and won’t give him a break“. That’s, kinda what I keep hearing lol. Yet both are wrong.

I haven’t watched Best Wishes in AGES so I feel like I’m not the best person to defend Iris, but she’s honestly a really sweet person who just wants Satoshi to not feel alone in new enviroment that is Unova? I think? She also loves her Pokémon a ton. Someone who has freshes memory of Iris or knows her better might be better at explaining what she is truly like :’D

But Serena. Man. I have NEVER seen her as “just a girl with a crush“ but as a person who has a crush, but is also a good person with caring soul, grows from “giving up easy“ to “never give up til the end“, not knowing what she wants to do until later on, is able to be GOOD friends with Satoshi DESPIRE THE CRUSH, like uuugh I honestly dislike the trope where people who have crushes with each other are unable to talk to each other and, I am so fricking glad they didn’t go that route with Serena. She was truly happy to see Satoshi again after all those years. She considered him a friend. And became even better friends during the Kalos Journey.

Her final scene involving the kiss and all is notoriously misunderstood and I’ve written a whole post about it before, constantly reblogging when someone tries to explain otherwise, but in short: Serena grew to be someone to wants to be LIKE Satoshi, not someone who wants to BE with him. And that’s beautiful.

I guess one reason why some keep misunderstanding these two characters could be because it’s sometimes hard to see past the negative characters traits.

Just sharing my thought: When I heard Chikai full song + translation (I guess I hadn't heard full song of DTT that time), my mind went “I know this is about sokai but my brain is picturing skulmera wedding.” I buried my face in my hands and had an internal fangirl scream. Lol.

aww that’d be so sweet....imagine if it happened all the way after their arcs were resolved, aka after anything post-kh3, post-Subject X stuff, post...whatever happened to Eph lmao then having. Just them sharing their most important moment together at dawn...

What if... Ephemera and Blaine won't be back in the next saga (also if we put Skuld = subject x theory, only those two are left)?

I’ll be saaad!!! I love Eph and Blaine’s really interesting as a character (and just his personality in general), it would feel so incomplete without them there, especially if the next saga focuses on Ven, Elrena, Lauriam and Skuld. Kind of like how things felt so off in the secret ending with the foretellers cause Ava was missing (speaking of her, I hope she’s included as well)

What if... in KHUX, Ven's shoes was actually normal street shoes (sneakers I'd say) which were later used as model by Eraqus to make his armor shoes? Ever since he has those armor shoes, he never wears his old shoes anymore.

oh cool! It would make sense to have the shoes used as a base/measurement. I like to draw him with simple boots (though I might give him some new footwear at some point, something that suits him personally)

What do you think of 'this girl' that Lea and Isa were talking about? (Just in case I'm avoiding more details about her clues in the ask) who might she be?

Before reading the secret reports, I really had no clue. I actually thought they were talking about little Kairi for a while and thought “hey that would be pretty sad for her and also ironic since Lea’s been hanging out with her”. But at some point I realized it wasn’t her. And then I read the reports and basically got my answer. As much as it pains my heart, my gut says it’s Skuld.

While the evidence could also have you thinking that it could be Ava, I personally think it’s less likely because 1) Even though Ava is closest in age to the wielders, I don’t think she’s 15 years old like the reports say Subject X is. 2) “Her words suggest that she departed her home world with others” could refer to the Dandelions leaving the world to go to the Unchained state. 3) It’s kind of assumed at this point that all the Dandelion leaders were thrown messily into the future with little to no memories, with the exception of Blaine, who might’ve been the reason why this happened in the first place, and Ephemera, who probably ends up mysteriously MIA somewhere as usual

Are there anything else that caught your attention in KH III besides the one you posted do far?

Oh definitely! I know I didn’t post about these things, but the way Riku held himself together for Sora’s sake and protected him the best he could really struck me, the Organization members’ deaths (at least the ones I’ve done so far) were both touching and painful at the same time, and the fact that the Chirithy in the Final World is implied to belong to Ven my my heart growing three sizes. And there’s so much more that I’m sure I’m forgetting to talk about!
