I'm never around for the drama that unfolds bts since i don't hang around in the fandom much. so these are my (mostly) unbiased opinions lol

when i see comments saying cps don't have chemistry in dramas i end up confused because i enjoyed their drama because of how good they were romantically lmao even if the plot is weak. but honestly im not the best judge at that because if i don't vibe with the drama, i usually say it's not my type and move on. the fact that the plot could be at fault never crosses my mind until i see others opinion [looks at hidden agenda] (im sorry HA enjoyers im glad you liked it but it wasn't my type)

probably why i was able to enjoy bbs and its our skyy 2 and thought ohmnanon had strong chemistry. it was only after our skyy 2 did i know about their "break up" and that was very weird to me because they seemed pretty good friends in the bts I've seen. i wasn't a fan but i did like them a lot. And then i see comments saying they did not have chemistry in our skyy 2 which always gets me cause wdym they didn't look like they were in love

another one would be jimmysea in vice versa that some seemed to think got no chemistry either which i don't agree with because while the plot was all over the place with the constant ads, i never felt like they weren't into each other. i struggled through the drama because i wanted to see them end up together cause they were cute af. saw someone say it's probably because they don't fit the uke/seme stereotype which could be it? idk. I'm not a fan of the actors but im glad they got last twilight cause they seem to be nailing their roles in it.

unpopular opinion im guessing but i thought perthchimon had romantic chemistry in dr. i won't say it's strong like others but i watched it for them so. the theme didn't remain the same after ep 2 but a cute bl is up my alley so I wasn't that disappointed lol. though they can't kiss for shit lmao but im not the one to shame them and i hope they get better at it if they have another bl. i watched nlmg after and chopper stole the show for me. i liked both of them in it too (more than the mls but it's mainly because i couldn't stand their dynamic. phuwin character being whiney and having pond character fall for him again annoyed me because it reminds me of futs and i was against them ending up together in it lmao. i just wasn't able to get into nlmg much. genuinely no offense im glad there are others who enjoy them fr)

discourses online say all these cps were too bro-like which i get why but as a fellow gay man, this does happen irl. I've had people who were shocked at the fact that my partner and i were actually dating because we act like bros lmfao. and tmi, but who cares, im often called a twink irl. anygays these three really stood out to me because i liked them a lot in their shows so yeah i had to drop an ask since prev anons were discussing this lol

I get where you’re coming from, I'm also someone who doesn't engage in fandom very assidiously although my desire to know everything about everything means I usually know what's going on regardless whether I particularly want to or not. A lot of information seems to just randomly fall into my lap!

I partly agree with people who say that the OhmNanon chemistry was somewhat diminished in Our Skyy 2 though not so dramatically that it wasn't enjoyable.

Agreed on JimmySea and Vice Versa, I don't actively hate it but most of the reason I stayed was them. Those ads truly did some damage there. Last Twilight, though, holy shit! I would now kill and die for JimmySea. I really don't know if their distance from the usual relationship roles had anything to do with their popularity - or lack thereof -, it's really not something that had occurred to me before now, so thank you for that fresh perspective!

Yeah, Dangerous Romance wasn't excellent but I've seen much much worse and while it's true there's a lot of room for improvement ("PerthChimon can't kiss for shit" got a genuine laugh out of me), they weren't completely unsalvageable.

As for PondPhuwin, Phuwin does seem to get that type of character a lot and in terms of their dynamic, it can get old fast. I will say, though, that FUTS had me laughing irl a lot so I tend to hold a little more affection for it than I do NLMG. But that's just me.

And hell yeah for that last part! The discourse that pisses me off the most about BL is when people get upset about couples in stories not conforming to their idea of what a relationship should look like. If I'm being completely honest, I think GMMTV tends to use the same dynamic more often than other production houses which I sometimes find extremely frustrating because when something new and different comes out a lot of people get upset it doesn't align to the standard GMMTV sets by virtue of being arguably the most popular producer of BL.

Ok so finished my first playthru of phantom liberty

And overall id say it was a great DLC, took me around 40+ hours to actually finish and the last few ones were a bit rushed because i /needed/ to know how it ends

Tw for child abuse and child sexual abuse, I'm venting here about court documents I found about my biological grandfather and there are descriptions of abuse

I found some court documents from the CPS cases against my biological grandfather and the stuff that I found is heartbreaking and disgusting. Before the CPS cases that I found against him and my bio grandmother for my half aunt, half uncle, and aunt (not sure where my other two uncle's or dad were at this time since they aren't mentioned but were certainly alive already) my grandfather was convicted of two felony counts of sexual abuse against children (which happened in his house with his children present), and several counts of felony child abuse for breaking my half uncle's bones when he was under 5 years old, and severe well documented physical abuse. He would also drive around trying to pick up children to molest with my aunt and half aunt in the car with him

I learned about my half aunt in the document who was diagnosed with DID (then called multiple personality disorder) in 1987 when she was under 10 years old, where my grandparents both said it was just imaginary friends she would grow out of, and she was permanently removed from their custody and put up for adoption after the court decided she could never under any circumstances return safely to their custody

My half uncle went to live with his mom halfway across the country and she got full custody of him

And I don't know what happened to my aunt after her 3-4 year long court battle, but I do know that cps, the lawyers, and judges fought as hard as they possibly could to keep her fr going back to them

The things I read in the document made me start sobbing and harshly resembled how my dad abused me, no doubt he learned it exactly from his dad but holy shit, I had no idea that my bio grandfather was a pedo and rapist, the notes from the court documents also state from a psychiatrist that he would had such uncontrollable and severe anger issues and would go into rage episodes to the point that no child could ever be safe in his custody

It feels like being gutted to read that about people that I've personally met, to know that my dad probably mostly cut contact with him after I was born because he knew that he was a pedophile and child abuser, I feel like shit learning this and learning that I come from someone like that

ik i talked to him abt wanting to still be friends but, after thinking a lot, i’m really not comfortable still talking to somebody that was that toxic to me fr so long.  and ik posting this might not be the “classiest” thing to do but i feel like i have to get it off my chest bc otherwise a part of me is pushing to say “it wasn’t that bad” or to excuse it bc “well he apologized and said he wouldn’t do it again” even tho he kept doing these things and showed literally no signs of changing.  and i’m so tired of entering these conversations and having it lead to no change or be twisted to be about pitying him.  this isn’t really a callout or anything so i’m leaving his name out and there aren’t receipts or anything.  it might sound trivial bc i’m starting with the small stuff and working forward but idk.  i’m just tired and felt like i needed to write smth out.

im not sure the best way to word this, but i never felt like i could enjoy things or have things just fr myself.  the only way i could talk abt things was if i was criticizing them or it was smth he loved.  these are just a few things and alone each of them would just be annoying, but it all just compounded into making me feel miserable like i wasn’t allowed to love anything.

when i showed him a series that was very important to me, the first the he did was insult the art style, characters, story, etc.

when i started getting excited about pokemon swsh and the new pokemon, he immediately started mocking my favorite ones and sending me posts/articles talking abt how the game was going to be garbage, even after i asked him to stop.

when i got my first noise cancelling headphones and was excited abt how well they worked, he immediately told me that it was a good thing they were noise cancelling so i wouldn’t be able to hear him crying.

constantly glancing over my shoulder and making fun of what he saw me playing or enjoying.  new game he doesn’t play?  looks stupid/cheap/boring.  not doing great?  makes fun of me for doing poor even after i repeatedly tell him to stop.

and whenever he said something particularly upsetting like that headphones thing, he would immediately say “oh it’s an intrusive thought” or “oh it was just a joke” when i got upset and confronted him about it.  and he’d immediately turn around and make the situation about him and how i should be pitying him.

the worst examples of this come from over a year ago when i was still in college.  my depression was hitting me really hard bc i was back living at home instead of dorms, i was struggling really hard with classes, and had teachers that mocked me whenever i tried to ask questions.  i was actively suicidal during this time and had repeatedly expressed worries to friends and family that i wouldn’t be able to support myself in the future, that i was a failure, and i felt like my only option was to drop out so i would have at least some control in my life.  this was the lowest point i’d ever been.  i’m going to list a few things that happened from smallest to worst and it’s important they all happened during this time.  and he was aware this is how i was during this time.

he was friends with somebody that actively hated me.  fine, not that big of a deal bc friends don’t always get along with boyfriends.  but how this was handled was absolutely horrid.  this friend insulted me whenever i spoke, even told me i shouldn’t talk period.  he kept being friends with them and insisting we hang out more.  that friendship only ended after (1) they accused me of being a pedophile bc i felt physically sick hearing ppl talk abt loli/shota stuff.  and i was the only one who called this out for being so.  fucked up.  to call someone that for being distressed by even seeing cp terms.  he only said he’d talk to said friend after i was incredibly/vocally upset abt this. 

one night depression almost got the best of me and i stopped responding to any calls/texts/etc.  said friend got annoyed he was scared i might actually be dead.  this was the event that actually ended that friendship and honestly i’m mostly upset it took that friend literally not caring if i was dead for my boyfriend to actually give a shit how i was being treated.

he fucking.  cheated on me.  and told me how he was planning on moving in with the person he was cheating on me with “in case things didn’t work out with me”.  he knew i was suicidal over being uncertain about my future and did this, even telling me he was cheating on me BECAUSE of me being suicidal and uncertain.

the worst thing for me is that ofc he managed to make this about him.  maybe it doesn’t make sense for it to feel worse, but it does to me for some reason.  last time we even spoke about him cheating on me, he went on and on about how he hurt he was bc he felt used by the person he cheated on me with.  bc that person stopped talking to him after he told them he didn’t want to do sexual stuff anymore. 

things didn’t really get “better” or anything once i graduated.  if anything, they just got more stressful.  i was still stressed at whether i’d be able to support myself, but a bit more stable now that i had a job and a degree.  my ex moved in with the promise that he would be working to get a job so that he could support himself, grow confidence, and keep things equal.  i don’t.  have the energy to detail everything and don’t know if it’s right.  but the short of it is that i constantly had to nag him to even send out applications and he didn’t even want to go to interviews.  things got really stressful between us and it eventually came out (after i told him the relationship was unhealthy and unbalanced, that i had no desire to support him entirely as this was a source of extreme stress and a lot to ask of someone new to the work force, etc) that he expected me to fully support him financially and that was what he wanted.

he wanted me to fully support him financially, to take responsibility for improving his entire emotional maturity and recovery without taking any initiative, and to fully care for him once i got home from a full day of work (as i’ve been doing).  there was never a “what can i do for you?” or any signs/desire for positive change.  it was only “what are you going to do for me?”.  the relationship was incredibly unhealthy, unblanced, and it was clear that i wasn’t a partner but a surrogate caretaker.  and when i broke up with him, he accused me of breaking my promise to support him.

and i just.  i’m tired.  the whole relationship felt manipulative and unhealthy, looking back.  i don’t know.  maybe i’m wrong.  but i just don’t feel comfortable continuing to speak to somebody who repeatedly put me down, treated me like an expendable resource, and targeted the thing they knew i was most vulnerable about (my own independence and being able to support myself) when he knew that had made me suicidal in the past.

i know we have some shared friends and he’s probably going to paint me like some villain to you guys.  he already compared me to his previous abuser multiple times.  i don’t want to start some stupid “war” or drama or whatever and won’t push back or argue or anything because i have a ton on my plate both health and financially right now.  i don’t have the energy for stupid drama.  maybe i included more details than i should have, but i also left out a lot of details because i’m not really sure how much is appropriate here since this isn’t a callout or whatever.  there aren’t “receipts” since many of these things were personal interactions and i’m not looking to prove anything or make a callout.  you don’t have to believe me or read this or idk.

i just wanted to get this all off my chest.

CQ NEWS (Eddie DeYoung, AE7AA, Named CQ Magazine Awards Editor). A press

release, dated August 29th, from Richard Moseson (W2VU), Editor of CQ

Amateur Radio, reports the following: Eddie De Young, AE7AA, of Clearwater,

Florida, has been named Awards Editor of CQ Amateur Radio magazine, Editor

Rich Moseson, W2VU, announced today. His first Awards column appears in

the September 2019 issue. De Young succeeds Ted Melinosky, K1BV, who was

both Awards Editor and USA-Counties Award Custodian for more than 20 years.

CQ previously announced the appointment of Brian Bird, NX0X, as the new

USA-CA custodian.

De Young has been licensed since 1954 and has, over the years, held more

than two dozen call signs from 11 different countries. He spent 38 years

in the Pacific, Asia and Antarctica, including many in Australia. While

there, he served as Awards Manager for the Wireless Institute of Australia,

where he helped modernize the program and developed software to improve

award processing. He has also been on nearly a dozen DXpeditions.

Since returning to the United States, Eddie has worked summers for the

National Park Service as a park ranger at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

and at Glacier National Park in Montana. On the ham bands, he is active

via remote stations and with limited operation from his new apartment,

with 100 watts and a homemade fractal square loop on his balcony. Eddie

enjoys operating primarily CW and digital modes.

De Young says he plans to offer hints in his column on earning CQ awards

of all kinds, inform newbies how to get started on their award hunting

quests and share how much fun and educational award-chasing can be. Eddie

also says he plans to include occasional competitions, award nostalgia

and ideas from readers.

CQ Editor Rich Moseson said, “Eddie brings a world of experience from

all over the world to this position. As an avid award chaser as well as

someone who has ‘been the DX,’ he understands both sides of the award-

hunting equation and is uniquely qualified to help CQ’s readers achieve

looking forward to his first CQWW CW operation from GJ-land. Bob will be

a Single-Op/Single-Band (20m)/High-Power/Unassisted entry in the contest.

nesday evening (November 20th) and return to Guernsey on Monday (November

25th), so there could be some pre/post contest QSOs.

was active as C6A/DD0VR from the Bahamas during January and February this

year, informed OPDX on Saturday morning that they were in Singapore, and

they should be starting their Pacific Tour that night by the time you

read this. Their tentative schedule is as follows:

Samoa — Signing as 5W0VR between September 9-16th

Tonga — Signing as A35JY between September 16-21st

SPECIAL EVENT (Highway to a DX Party!). The Citrus Belt Amateur Radio

Club of San Bernardino <w6jbt.org>, California, is once again hosting

(probably one of the most fun special event activities) the 20th annual

“Route 66 On The Air” special event between September 7-15th. The purpose

of this event is to offer amateur radio operators a fun way to “Relive

the Ride” of their own memories of Route 66, and to celebrate the highway’s

93rd anniversary. The U.S. Highway 66 established in 1926, was the first

major improved highway to link the west coast with the nation’s heartland.

Through stories, songs, and TV shows, the highway came to symbolize the

spirit of the freedom of the open road, inspiring many to see America.

an IC-7300 w/TL933 amp (about 500w) into a 3 element Yagi and DP antennas.

TK, CORSICA. Arnoud, PE2USA, will be active as TK/PE2USA from two different

locations in Corsica during the month of September. Between September 2-9th,

September 9-14th, he will be in WW. Loc. JN41KR (north of Punta Vaccaja).

No other details were provided. QSL will be confirm via eQSL.

TT8, CHAD. Jean Louis, ZS6AAG, is now active as TT8JLH from N’Djamena.

He is there working for the Médecins Sans Frontières [MSF](Doctors With-

out Borders), and the length of his stay is unknown. Activity has been

on 20 meters SSB. QSL via his home callsign and eQSL.

V2, ANTIGUA (Reminder). Bud, AA3B, will once again be active as V26K from

Antigua (NA-100) between September 8-20th. Activity will be sporadic

because he is doing maintenance on the station but will be primarily CW

on various HF bands. QSL via LoTW or via AA3B, direct or by the Bureau.

An OQRS will be available via ClubLog.

V3, BELIZE. Vernon, NN5E, will be active as V31CC between October 5-12th.

Activity will probably be on 80-10 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY and FT8.

V4, ST. KITTS AND NEVIS. Felipe, NP4Z, will once again be active as V43Z

from Saint Kitts Island (NA-104) during the CQ WW DX SSB Contest (October

ZK3A TOKELAU ISLANDS DXPEDITION NEWS (Update). The following was reported

on August 29th, on the ZK3A Web page (https://tokelau2019.com) and Twitter

(https://twitter.com/ZK3A_2019) [edited]: The ZK3A team will be on all 3

of the Islands in Tokelau (Fakaofo, Nukunonu & Atafu).

* The Amateur Radio Club in Tokelau will have callsigns for each of these

islands, ZK3RF, ZK3RN & ZK3RA.

* Each club stations utilize electricity from the islands solar panels.

* The ZK3A team will be donating to all 3 islands the following.

TS-590S, Dipole for 40m & 20m, A3S and a 800w Linear Amplifier.

* In addition the team has shipped 3 x 6 KVA generators to be used

during our activation. At the end of our time on the island, we

will be donating these generators to each of the Tokelau Islands.

* Total donation from our team is around $ 8,000 USD.

ADDED NOTES: The ZK3A Tokelau Island DXpedition is conducting a survey

on what bands and modes are needed for this operation. Give them your

everyone in my house pisses me off. nobody cares abt anyone’s shit no one cleans or does dishes no one helps you out. rn the house looks like shit and i just can’t even go in there to clean bc it overwhelms me so fucking bad. the other day my step dad wouldn’t let me use his truck to go to therapy but i could go get sour cream bc apparently we needed it. my brother was told to do the dishes and he didn’t. (he is 20 and not in school and doesn’t pay rent and his only responsibility around the house is taking the trash out and he can’t even do that most days.) My other brother doesn’t help clean but 1 day a fucking week and tht day he talks abt ohh i been cleaning all day omg i’m so tired i was cleaning all day like yeah no shit that’s how the rest of us feel EEVERYDAY. my little sister is literally the worst person ive ever met no exaggeration. my other sister never does anything and uses work as an excuse. when i was working i had to do shit still but for everyone else working it’s a free pass. my youngest sister is bad asf too she yells at me and acts like she doesn’t gotta do what i tel her. and if her dad walks in it’s 10x worse. the other day she threw a cup across the wall and yelled at me and when i told her she gotta get in the corner (she’s 8 and i don’t like to hit her) she told me she didn’t even do anything. if i called cps rn they’d probably do an investigation cuz of how fucking dirty it is here. my mom comes home and does nothing. she tells ME to do everything she wants then bitches at me when i tell someone else to do it. like it’s exactly what ur doing ? why can’t i. “bc i told YOU” go fuck urself fr. rn i’m in wet ass pants bc my sister can’t change our laundry into the dryer . that’s all i ask her to do. our basket of clothes in the laundry room (was in there bc i did half a load at a time cuz our washing machine and dryer are going out) and the only clean clothes i had, someone threw a cat shitted on shirt in there. and something wet that smells like fucking piss. i have to watch everyone in the house like i’m the fucking mom i gotta clean everything that needs to be cleaned bc everyone is so goddamn lazy. i have showered once in like a week nd a half and i wanna work out but the house being so dirty has paralyzed me. sounds like a cop out and it kinda is but i’m serious i am so overwhelmed. only that sister (the worst person) is here and if i ask her to do anything she’ll straight up tell me “i’ll do it when i want to” and never does it. then i tell her if she can’t help she gets dishes and she says even if our parents tell her to she won’t. she acts like this bc my mom doesn’t do anything when she does bad shit. yesterday she was literally caught smoking AGAIM?? 3RD TIME?? SHE IS 14 !!! and my mom let her off w a “warning” and she justifies not getting in trouble is bc technically there is no proof. i’m too big to fit any of my shirts and all my pants are tent sizes and i’m tired beyond sleep and i need to drink water and exercise and eat better but all we have is asparagus and some gross ass eggs. i’m so tired of everything man. so tired. i just wanna lay here and watch dust collect on the ceiling fan. i’m anxious bc school is starting and i have no ride. i may or may fail school. ik when my mom gets home she’s gonna tell me to clean the kitchen and then go sit down and watch tik told or facebook videos on full vol or put on country music loud as hell and won’t turn it off bc “we” are cleaning. (she isn’t lol) then when no one does the dishes for long enough either her or my step dad does it and then try to use it against us. they say they are busy as if we have nothing going on. i’m 17 i got one friend who actually wants to hang out w me one who doesn’t even answer texts oh great my moms here telling me to clean what a fucking shock anyways bye

A Call within A Call: from Missionary to Friend in Haiti

I landed in Haiti on January 8, 2016. Without planning it I was celebrating 7 years as a perpetually professed passionist that day.  I could not speak a word of the language. I tried studying bits and pieces of Haitian Creol and French but the internet in Chiapas, Mexico where I lived for four years as a missionary was not the most reliable. For the first year in Haiti, I was forced to become like a child. This took a tall on my feeble ego. I wanted to serve, to do for others, to be a leader and not to be led. To make things worse for me and my ego, I shared life with two good men. Fr. Rich Frechette, CP is a doctor with over 30 years experience in Haiti and two wonderful organizations that serve more than a few thousands with healthcare, education, and with employment. I also lived with Fr. Enzo Del Brocco, CP who is a very charismatic man that can find allies and benefactors under the rocks. And, there here I was in between good men whose presence challenged me in every way. What could I really do? I was not equipped to serve in the hospital where I lived. I am not a doctor or Physiotherapist. I could not even speak the language. I really thought of leaving Haiti.  I manage to keep myself busy in what I could in order to hide my ever growing frustration, however.

This work got me into creating a small farm in honor of a kid who passed away at the orphanage and to accompany our young-men aspiring to become Passionists. I had no experience doing these things, so I took it as a challenge. At this time, I met two brothers, Lucson (12) and Job (15). Fr. Enzo was helping them and their father, Lissam, get on their feet. Lucson and Job worked with me and the seminarians at the farm tending the half a dozen goats, the beans and corn we were trying to grow. Job and Lucson were really good workers but they were kids nonetheless. Lucson loved to get into trouble all the time. He would climb the 40 ft. high water tower to throw rocks around the property. He loved to go into one of the abandoned houses to play soccer inside. Every time I tried to reproach him in my broken Creol, he would ran away calling me names like “Pitit-Satan”, which means Son of Satan. As time went by, my appreciation for Lucson and Job grew as well as my frustration and helplessness as a missionary in a place where I felt and saw I could not really serve.  One day, out of the blue Lucson, started bringing me candies as a gift. He would buy them from the little money I would, from time to time, shared with him and his brother. One day, I asked him why he would bring me gifts. Without a pause, he said, because you are my friend! The response caught me by surprise. I replied with another question. If I am your friend, why do you call me “Pitit-Satan” when you are mad? Again, without a pause, he replied, because you are my friend! His honesty and words crushed me and hunted me for days. Lucson’s simple answered called to leave the false calling I had placed for myself, to be the savior of people, and it was inviting me to be a friend. Just a friend! No more and no less. When in the history of humanity a person has not needed a friend? I do not have to be a physician or a great fundraiser to be someone’s friend.

Being a friend to Job and Lucson led me to more friends. Through them I met a group of families that live no more than 200 meters from my home. They live in land that they are occupying since the 2010 Earthquake, they call this place Vilaj Trankil. The land does not belong to them. Most people live in very harsh circumstances. There is no running water or toilets. The poorest most fragile shacks are occupied by single women and children. During one of my visits, some of the leaders approached me asking me for help. After almost three years of friendship with this community, we decided to articulate and clarify all the pastoral work we have been doing in an initiative we call Sant Pastoral Pasyonis (the Passionist Pastoral Center). We have one fulltime staff member (Sarah Exontus) that collaborates together with a few dozen volunteers. Sant Pastoral Pasyonis has 4 areas of service and presence:

i. Direct Service: Together with the leadership of Vilaj Trankil, we help them with construction material to build better homes and aid the sick.

ii. Little Stones: Inspired by David vs. Goliath biblical witness our weekly kids-youth program (Ages 4 to 17) offers breakfast, human and religious formation to our participants in order for them to trample down all the violence, corruption and indifferences that is trying to take over their lives. Our adult leaders come from Vilaj Trankil.

iii. Partial and Full School Scholarships for our kids and youth.

[Zeke] Is taking a walk and wanders near Lie's place-

[Lie] Is returning from Doc's place- Oh, hey Zeke.  Enjoying the afternoon sun?

[Zeke] Mmm... Oh! Hello Lie... - His voice is just as melodious as usual, but it's obvious he's concerned.

[Lie] - Is everything okay?

[Zeke] I'm worried about my mom...

[Lie] - What's wrong with her?

[Zeke] Well... it's like this. She started mining and I thought that was great because she's getting into the game. Go native you know? But she's gotten obsessed with the potion brewing. She's acting really starnge.

[Lie] - Potion brewing?  I'm not very good at that myself, but how exactly is she acting strange?

[Zeke] It's hard to describe. She seems different, more confident, but in this really hungry, driven way. And she hardly ever leaves her room.

[Lie] - Is she neglecting you at all?  Are you okay?

[Zeke] It's not like that. I don't need her to take care of me. I can cook and do laundry and all that. And she's not ignoring me if I try to talk to her. Just kind of.. like patting my head? Sending me out to play?

[Lie] - That doesn't sound right...  Every once in awhile sure, but almost everytime?

[Zeke] Does potion brewing usually smell bad?

[Lie] - Depends on who's making it

[Zeke] I know she's keeping the furnaces going at all hours, I can sorta hear the flames when I'm in my room. I don't know what to think.

[Lie] - Do you want me to talk with her?

[Zeke] If you want to try. I already bugged her an hour ago myself and didn't get anywhere.

[Lie] - I'll see what I can do.  You can stick around here for now if you want

[Zeke] Do you mind if I hang out with the barn cats for a bit?

[Lie] - Go right ahead.  You're welcome in the house to hang out with Hope and the Vulpix's too

[Zeke] Thank you.

[TLOT] Is sitting on the side porch of the castle reading a book and eating cookies with his feet up-

[Lie] Rides up on Beau- Oh, hey TLOT

[TLOT] Waves cheerfully- Morning Lie! Want a cookie?

[Lh] Pads over to the top of the steps - Mow?

[Lie] - No, I'm actually heading down into the lab to talk to Dolly

[TLOT] Really? Why?

[Lie] - Zeke is worried about her, she's been really focused on potion making lately, like a concerning amount apparently

[TLOT] Oh. Do you want some backup?

[Lie] - Sure, just let me get Beau inside Doc's pen

[TLOT] I'll meet you inside- Goes in and LH scampers after him.

[Lh] Leaps onto a fence post and butts agains one of the skeletal horses-

[Lie] Rides in and dismounts before giving Beau an apple and stepping out of the pen- Ready to go?- She's holding her hand out for LH to rub against

[Lh] Bumps her- puuuuuuuuuuuurrrr

[TLOT] Whenever you are. Feel free to just pick him up, he's love-y enough to not care.

[Lie] - Oh I know- She picks LH up and starts heading for the lab

[TLOT] Sniffs as he goes down the stairs- Someone is really burning something.

[Lie] - Yeah, what are they trying to do?

[TLOT] Heads down to Dolly's room and taps on the wall. - Dolly?

-There's a bit of hurried shuffling and the distinct sound of blocks being placed before she comes to the door-

[Dolly] Yes? - Her face shows a lack of sleep and there's a weirdly masculine cast to her posture and the way the torchlight falls on her cheeks.

[Lie] - Hey, is everything okay?

[Dolly] Weirdly intense smile- Of course it is? Why?

[Lie] - Because your son is worried about you

[Dolly] Aww, he's such a thoughtful child. Why is he worried?

[Lie] - Because according to him you've been working relentlessly and even though you pay attention to him when he initiates it, he feels like it's more like "pat on the head, go outside to play" type of thing

[Dolly] Well I have been rather busy, this is true.

[Lie] - You should take a break, you look exhausted

[Dolly] I do? I feel fine. I actually feel healthier then I have in ages. My knees and ankles stopped hurting too. I never thought I'd get to essencially quit my job before becoming a senior citizen, if ever, but this has been so good for me.

[Lie] Gives TLOT a concerned glance-

[TLOT] Is squinting with obvious effort and casually backs away to lean on the big table-

[Lie] - Can we come in Dolly?- She casually puts her hands behind her back and spawns a calming flower, hoping that will get Dolly relaxed enough to realize how tired she is

[Dolly] Why? We can talk just as easily out here.

[Lie] - Alright, then step out so we can sit and talk.  Relax a little

[Dolly] Comes out of the room and stands in front of her - What's on your mind Lie?

[Lie] - Concern, my mate is off on his own server to deal with some stuff

[Dolly] Ah, I'm sorry. - her eyes flick ever so slightly back to her space-

[Lie] Her hand goes up to the lockets hanging from her neck- I'm just...  Really worried this time around...  He thinks it has to do with his NOTCH...

[Dolly] He's strong, and if he fails, his friends and wife will be here to catch him I'm sure.

-Lie starts to feel a little bit of pressure, as if something is pushing her slightly away from Dolly-

[Lie] Frowns a little- Dolly, are you sure everything is alright?

[Dolly] Absolutely! Coming here is the second best thing that's ever happened to me.

[Lie] - If you're sure...

[Dolly] I've never been more sure of anything!

[TLOT] With effort- What.. was the first, best thing?

[Dolly] My son.

[TLOT] Understandable.

[Lie] - Alright, well I suppose we should let you get back to your project...

[Dolly] Absolutely. And it was super talking to you two.

[Lie] - Same to you

[Dolly] Goes back in her room-

[TLOT] Lets out the breath he was holding - shit...

[Lie] - What's wrong?

[TLOT] It's hard to explain... it's like... she's of two minds somehow? I got just a glimpse and then nothing. Just white flames that blocked me from scanning her anymore.

[Lie] Summons her white flames after a brief amount of concentration- Like these?

[TLOT] Yes... It wasn't an attack. Just something shielding her mind.

[Lie] - Weird...  Well, if I'm not needed here, I think I'll head home.  Unless there's something you need me for?

[TLOT] No, I think I'm going to go rest. That didn't feel too great. My head kinda hurts now.

[Lie] - Okay, I'll see myself out.  Oh, and I heard about Notch and Flux, I'm assuming you felt it?

[TLOT] Oh yes.... that was nice. And very overdue.

[Lie] - Talk about a slow burn

[CP] Enters his server in his office and begins preparing to leave when Winston opens the door and enters-

[Winston] - Master, there's something urgent we must discuss

[CP] - Not now Winston

[Winston] - Please sir, you should hear this!

[CP] Pauses- Five minutes Winston

[Winston] Composes himself- Sir, since you've ordered us general to hide away the general mobs have come under attack and are vanishing.  We can find no trace of the ones that have disappeared, not even a sign of death

[CP] - Mobs don't just vanish into thin air Winston

[Winston] - I know that sir, which is why I urge you to be careful and perhaps look into this

[CP] - A few mobs disappearing is no major call for concern Winston

[Winston] - It's not a few sir

[CP] Stops what he's doing and turns to face his most trusted general- How many Winston?

[Winston] Seems a bit ashamed- A few hundred sir, in a very short period of time as well

[CP] Sighs- Get me names and I'll look into it

[Winston] Salutes and hurries off to gather the information requested-

[CP] Sits at his desk and pulls up the data for his game and sets it up to search for the vanished mobs.  It isn't long before Winston returns and hands him a list of names over several pages of paper-

[Winston] - Here you are Master

[CP] - Thank you, if you can figure out where these new mob leaders usually begin to rise, please do so.  It will be of great help

[Winston] - Immediately sir

[Doc] Is searching the house for Grinny-

[Lh] Is sort of helping.

[Grinny] Found a high spot to hide, he's hidden above the dragon head in the vine room-

[Doc] Walks into the room looking around-

[Lh] Bounds in with a small mouse toy in his mouth an spots Grinny, he drops the toy to mew at the other cat-

[Doc] Oh, there you are Grinny!

[Grinny] - Fuck off

[Doc] Ah, don't be so rude. I wanted to check on your fur. Your sweater could probably use a wash too.

[Grinny] Growls a little-

[Doc] Scoots a little closer but still out of swat range- It's taking so long for your hair to grow back. I'm just trying to help.

[Grinny] Presses himself farther back into the corner-

[Doc] Drops a wool block to get a bit higher and climbs onto it. - Grinny.... Don't be like that.

[Grinny] - Go away!

[Doc] Why won't you let me help you? I've been nothing but nice to you. Is there something you need that you don't have?

[[Grinny] Flicks tail in irritation- Yes!  Peace and quiet!

[Doc] Is silent for a long moment. In that space, it become apparent how quiet the house actually is. There's the barest crackle from the flaming netherrack on the roof, and the muffled noises of the mobs in the lab far below, but otherwise it's very very quiet. - Is this place really not peaceful enough for you?

[Grinny] - This quiet is worse, reminds me of the labs...

[Doc] I'm sorry Grinny. What they did to you was unforgivable. But... please don't hate me because of it. I'm not that kind of person.

[Lh] Mow?

[Grinny] - Says the one who also works in a lab and experiments!

[Doc] But mostly I just test things out on myself. Unless someone is hurt and needs an emergency fix. Or they request special work.

[Grinny] - It's still a lab!

[Doc] Well, I do have a doctor's office in town...?

[Grinny] Growls and decides to try and slink off to go find Smile-

[Doc] Reaches out and grabs Grinny gently before hopping down off the block. Xe rubs his ears gently. - Come on Grinny. What can I do to convince you of my sincerity?

[Grinny] Struggles- LET GO!

[Doc] Feels him in hir arms and realizes he still needs the sweater. Xe sets his feet down on the fuzzy block but keeps hold of him- I'm just trying to talk to you. Calm down.

[Grinny] Immediately tries to pull away-

[Doc] Give me a decent answer and I'll let go. What do you want from me? Give me a chance.

[Grinny] - Just leave me alone

[Doc] Sighs- I'm here if you change your mind. - Xe lets him go.

[Grinny] Darts off-

[Lh] Runs off as well, hoping to play with Grinny.
