“Alright everybody up let’s go to the park while Chris barbecues” I clapped elevating from my seat and my son runs to the door excitement trying to open the door with the child safety lock on it.

Nick got out Prince’ shoes helping him put them on and leaving out the door. “Come on Matt” He grudgingly got up.

I watched Prince waddle-run away from Nick as he chased him down to the colorful park while and me and Matt stayed back walking taking our time. “I wannu go on the swing” Prince points at the small swing set then getting uppies from Nick who put him in snug “Hold on okay” Nick said and he nodded back smiling with enthusiasm.

Nick started to push him slowly and he began to clap in anticipation “higher” he giggled “ok get ready” Nick pushed him a little bit higher than the last times making his sweet laugh come out.

“Push me higher uncle Nick” He says between his giggles before being taken away by a high swing, soaring in the air til he came down and over again. Nick’s expression was thrilled seeing his nephew being so joyful, I pulled out my phone taking a photo them, their smiles wider than the sun.

I looked up at Matt who was grinning ear-to-ear watching his brother and his son have fun together. “Come on guys, I think Chris is done barbecuing” Prince and Nick both said ‘Aww’ as Nick pulled him out the swing seat carrying him up the hill again to the house.

In the backyard Chris turned the sausages on the barbecue once more before placing them in tray’s to be put on the outdoor patio table. Nick still held his nephew in his arms when Prince grabbed his face to kiss his cheek “you’re too adorable” Nick tells him

“I know, that’s what mommy says” Everyone in the backyard laughs while he puts Prince into his highchair and he snatched the kiddie fork and knife banging them on the table “I hungry, I hungry, I hungry” He chants, fake pouting. I put together his hotdog placing it on his table and he racing to take a bite then burning his tongue “hot, hot, hot, hot” He complained fanning his tongue.

“Can someone blow on his food” I said looking back making myself a plate. “Sure” Chris walks up to the highchair and when he was about to help Prince, he sassed “I want uncle Nick to blow my food” Chris opened mouth to look offended until Nick pushed him away to get his plate and blow on his food.

“Here you go” He smiles back at the giddy child who pulls his grabby hand out to hold Nick’s face and kiss his nose “I love you uncle Nick” Prince cutely says to his uncle pulling on his heartstrings. “I love you too Uncle Chris” He fake rolls his eyes just for Chris come up to him and tickle the giggles out of Prince.

To set something straight, I've been making theories about this guy the second I heard his backstory (big spoilers ahead!)

At first, hearing about how Capsaicin Cookie was born from a lava lake, instantly gave me the idea that his birth was the result of an experiment gone wrong. And when "Legend Of The Red Dragon" came out within an update later, my gears only turned even more, later theorizing that Capsaicin Cookie was likely the result of the first attempt in making the puppet dragon

I would go on to soon drop due to not having enough information to properly cover it, but thanks to the beast yeast, like a phoenix, theories were born from the ashes anew! But not just theories my friends, a full blown prediction!

Now this was said a few times already, but I'll say here for good measure: Capsaicin Cookie is, in some way, connected to the beasts in some, more specifically, Burning Spice Cookie

I mean, c'mon! The evidence is right in front us!

They have similar character designs

They have similar color schemes

Both have something to do with spice

They're in the same frickin pose

And the fact that Capsaicin used to rely so much on him "holding back," and Burning Spice being notorious for destruction is just too perfect

Ok with all the information out of the way, I've narrowed it down to three regarding Capsaicin's creatio. It's either:

A. Capsaicin was the original "empty" vessel for Burning Spice, but something happened, causing in his birth

B. Burning Spice could be a great ancestor of Capsaicin, which would explain why his was locked away in the first place, maybe whoever locked him up knew of the beasts and saw him as a threat

C. Burning Spice could be a part of Capsaicin in some way(TLDR: pulling a Steven Universe)

At the point l, you might be wondering, "Sure, these are possible theories, but what about the prediction?" Well friends, may I direct you to our second key player, Golden Cheese Cookie. Now, knowing that everyone in her kingdom is basically in a coma, and seeing her friends forming armies for the war, it's pretty logical that she'll have to find other cookies to volunteer to fight in the war, but has every reason not to. Mostly due to what last time, the main reason is that she gets attached way too fast, way too easily. Fortunately, other ancients are very understanding of this, but do try to convince GC into doing the right thing, and eventually through one way or another, she ends recruiting Capsaicin for the war

Their relationship is very slow burn, with GC showing Capsaicin nothing but tough love as to not get attached to him(think Toph from ATLA) but ends not working for her, and slowly and surely, the two get close, like mother and son. . . At some point in the story, it isn't long for a certain someone to find out about their relationship

Now tell me, what sounds more metal. . ?

Learning about your past, and being forced to kill your mother figure due to her "stealing what's ours!"

Or Getting closure after loosing so much, just be forced to harm your adopted son after finding out his origins

The streets were your home and starvation was your companion. Crime is an everyday necessity, from petty crimes to thievery, you did it all.

“You’ll live a lavish life, you will get your three meals a day. But you will do everything I order, do you accept?”

So when an opportunity to get out of this shitty life, you took it immediately without thinking. Anything to sleep without having to worry about yourself being unsafe. Anything to have food on the table.

You did a lot of things for them too. Like instigating mental shutdowns and collecting connections like it's that one franchise. The latest job you completed was dismantling a company, at first you were kind of intimidated. But after kissing up to the higher-ups, you managed to turn the company against each other, ruining the company in the process within six months.

It was… hard at first. Not because of the corrupt adult but because of the younger kids who were involved because they were family. You always thought that maybe if you intervened a little bit, the kids could avoid their downfall but those stupid adults chose to involve their children. You gave up, you let them get consumed by their greed and begrudgingly didn’t bat an eyelash to the children who were in misery.

It ruined their livelihoods, you watched as the children got tossed onto the streets never seeing them again. Anger filled you but you held your tongue, you had to, anything to not live like that ever again. Even if it means sacrificing your humanity, you’ll do anything.

You didn’t like him. Partly due to the fact that he’s quite skilled with his personas and that he’s the first persona user that you need to get rid off. But the main reason is because of his resilience.

How are you able to smile with your friends, knowing that people gossiped behind your back?

Why are you fighting against the stronger opposing power?

“Why are you so nice to me?” The words you’ve been itching to speak out finally escaped from your mouth.

He raised his eyebrows, confused about your sudden question and you already regret opening your mouth now.

“Sorry, weird question. Don’t mind that.” You stood up abruptly, digging through your bag for cash.

“Because you’re dear to me.”

After that day, you tried your best to avoid the raven-haired boy. Swerving to the other direction whenever you see him. Completely ignoring Phantom Thieves meetings unless necessary. You just can’t face him, who was so kind, and you whose hands are stained with blood.

Your phone vibrated, indicating that the gc was alive again and you sighed tiredly. Turning your phone into silent mode isn’t the best idea since you don’t know when he would call and order you to do something. You admit defeat and just placed your phone away and examined your surroundings.

For some reason, this place gave you nostalgia but not the good one. Your heartbeat picked up when you catch a glimpse of that familiar alley.

Someone called your name and you froze in fear, your heart feels like it's coming out of your throat. The one responsible stood in front of you, unaware of your inner dilemma.

“I knew it! It wasn’t you who did it, papa said you were a wolf in sheep’s clothing but I knew he was wrong!”

Your mouth opened but no words came out.

Run. That was the only thing your guilt-ridden mind could, so you did. Ran until your legs felt like it was burning, you tripped multiple times opening fresh wounds on your legs but that didn’t stop you.

The only thing that stopped you was when you bumped into someone particularly hard that you thought would send both of you tumbling to the floor but surprisingly they managed to catch you upright.

Apologies spilled from your lips, only stopping when the arms that held you up wrapped around you and you gasped, looking up immediately. Eyes widening when yours meets his worried ones and you break.

“I’m sorry!”

“I’m sorry.” You suddenly blurted out without looking away from the scene in front of you and he turned to you, confusion painted on his face.

“I know you accept me for who I am but I’ve done horrible things.” He tensed up when he realized what you were implying and you smiled, proud that he was so smart to understand you immediately. A few steps, that was the only thing you could do before he pulled you into his embrace.

His chest pressed onto you, his heartbeat beating so loud that you could feel it pulsing on your skin. Before you could actually lose your will, you forced yourself to look at him, your hand cradling his face and he welcomed it like a fish who was left out of the water for long.

“Thank you for giving me a chance to live freely. But I have to atone for my sins.”

Your thanks didn’t deter him from letting you go so you did the last resort.

You tipped forward, your lips meeting his for a second which surprised him, loosening his hold on you for a second and you used it to push him hard.

For the last time, you ran. But this time not to his arms but to your demise.

Unsheathing your pistol, you aimed it at the button that would separate the two of you forever. You glanced at him, whispering your last words to him, praying that somehow, somehow he would understand it like he always did.

“Thank you for loving me.” And you shoot.

Well, of course, I can tell you more about it!

Point of Know Return was inspired by a song of the same from the band Kansas. It tells the story of a person who receives a message from someone that is called to work at sea and is lost in the "Point of Know Return", also known as "The Point that Demons Guard" or "An Ocean Grave for all the Brave"... and let's just say that I became absolutely enthralled by the idea.

Who wouldn't go onto such a place, if not a bunch of Gryffindors? Especially Gryffindors who are, well, a little keen on getting in trouble?

POKR will be poly, like GC, but this time I'll bring James into the relationship as well, because I love him and he deserves some love too!

And you know, I love a good strong-willed reader, so she will be a noble tha somehow convinced her parents to let her study cartography, even is she will never actually be able to practice her skills because this is in the 1700s and women working, especially of noble descendance, would be sacrilegious.

That's until she actually gets to go on a certain trip that leads her to her first encounter with the "Golden Snitch" the fastest boat in the 7 seas, and its crew, the brave marauders.

Like it doesn't even have to be the groupchat AU, I'm just genuinely curious now how you think Jaden would interact with all four of the Yu Boys. Jaden meets them and it's like witnessing all the parts of himself he keeps tucked to his chest exposed for everyone to see. He sees Yuto and wants to wrap him in a hug and tell him nothing was his fault. (He's a hypocrite, he knows he (Jaden) deserved everything he got. He didn't, he really didn't) He sees Yuya and sees the mask he's put up for so long, sees his attitude of "maybe if I ignore this then it'll all go away" and wonders if his own mask ever looked this close to cracking. He sees Yugo and wants to scream and tear his hair out because when did he lose that part of himself? When did the mask truly become a mask, when did he lose that spark that made life seem actually worth living? (He knows damn well when he lost it.) He sees Yuri and sees a world where he gave in completely to the madness, where he found comfort in the pain because it was the one time he truly felt like he was in control. He wonders what it cost him, if it cost anything at all. He wonders what friends he sacrificed to get where he is now, and if it was worth it. He looks into his eyes and thinks maybe it was. He wonders if maybe their worlds aren't as dissimilar as he first thought. (That thought alone might scare him more than anything.)

What made you ship it?

Back then we were thinking about people to ship JC with, and WQ existed. Since then, Untamed gave our little crackship food. And since then I also started OTPing Chengxian and the core transfer has been a object of easy fixation. It would be inaccurate to say that I started shipping Chengqing because I started shipping Chengxian. But I certainly ship Chengqing through a certain amount of WWX feelings - not only Chengxian, in fact.

What are your favorite things about the ship?

sometimes a mad scientist performs a secret, impossible experiment on someone who doesn't know what's going on and they get together afterwards, and suddenly there's this huge, grotesque thing between them.

I think they should kink on it, but I also think JC would deal very badly indeed with WQ's involvement in the gc transfer. (in my mind she doesn't tell him until she has no choice/it comes out.) I can't overstate how much I adore the kink (in a wide sense) potential between them.

they get one another, about duty and family and keeping the people you care for close and safe and not trusting easily.

also - this is notably less my thing - but I think they'd be good at taking of one another when they're not tearing each other apart for the heavy topics (they agree on duty, but that doesn't mean it would never come up in a bad argument, and the core transfer reframes everything there - suddenly wq has very little room to argue about her dutifulness! you were rearming a direct enemy of your sect babe! you were 100% betraying your sect!)(unless: and I think this is juicy: unless WQ explains that she expected JC to die after the core transfer. no JC with a core, no betrayal.)

and yes also chengqingxian, or at least wq and wwx being besties.

also very into the age-gap between them. she's older! she's already respected and established and a wordly grown-up! it's not relevant to post-canon chengqing except as a contrast to how things were back then, which is still very interesting, but in a canon divergence where the Wen siblings go to Lotus Pier, or sth like that, I really like the idea/image of WQ's crush on JC. it's funny and it's cute and look I think JC should get a win. The win in this case is WQ horny-clamping her jaw and respecting him. his brains. while looking disrespectfully.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

...this is very dependent of "what-ifs" but: I don't think JC would be totally okay with WQ and WWX's relationship.

He's deeply insecure when it comes to people loving him, and WWX betrayed his trust and convinced WQ to go along with it. (in Untamed it's made worse by the fact that JC and WQ already knew one another.) For me, WWX and WQ get one another to a level that other characters don't, I'm only 10% kidding when I call them soulmates, and imo JC would not be able to deal with that very well unless it's solved in Chengqingxian. (which I think he'd shoulder better because they're both here; if WWX is with LWJ it's... it's not exactly YZY while JFM is thinking of WCZ and CSS, but something like that. to me. I do think he'd be jealous.)

less unpopular than it seemed at one time, but bears repeating that it's fine for WQ to neither peg nor dom JC. I mean I'm failing to write that but I think WQ needs and wants to be pampered from time to time. Otoh I also think she's a lot more likely than WWX to tell JC what she needs, since her self-image isn't all twisted up in being better-than-jc at all times.

I clearly didn't try hard enough to keep WWX out of this answer.😔

Hi, today sucked, lemme tell you all the reasons it sucked in chronological order

I woke up at 1 am and read for a while. I did not get back to bed until 5 am.

I woke up approximately 15 minutes before I had to be out the door, so despite my planning to take a shower and wear a Victorian esc clothing today (for throwback Thursday, dumb school thing) I couldn't.

I didn't eat last night, so for the first time this semester I got breakfast from the cafeteria and it was not good.

We were practicing hand and arm massages in class for state board and wow, I fucking hated the smell, feeling and all around company of the lotion we were using.

I didn't charge my phone last night so I had my phone (and laptop) plugged in for my last two periods of school.

It was warm enough that I didn't need my jacket (a comfort item) so I took it off and put it over my backpack. It fell on the dirty bus floor while I was napping through the half hour bus ride.

My laptop wasn't plugged in properly so it was nearly dead when I got home.

Dad said we were going to the library to file my taxes. Okay, gotcha, I won't change into my home clothes, I'll just switch my binder out for a bra.

My sheets were dirty and I didn't want to lay in my gross bed with clean clothes on so I stripped my mattress and brought the sheets downstairs, where I find the washing machine on a self cleaning cycle. It was at 0, but I guess that's not done?

I notice that my little siblings who had lice for a couple days have put clothes in the laundry basket downstairs, which has my prom dress in it. Prom is on Saturday and I am literally too afraid to dig through their shit to find the dress.

I return to my room and work on chapter two of a story, but it's getting late and my dad hasn't called me out to the van yet.

I only learn my dad is home when he sends a picture of dinner to the gc. I leave my room to ask when we're doing taxes; he tells me he's eating and that I should eat too.

Twenty minutes later (like 7:50 pm at this point), we finally start my fucking taxes.

Very long annoying process, to learn that state taxes should not be filed through this site for me. It worked just fine for my sibling. I ask dad if we can do it tomorrow and he says taxes are due in four days. Whatever.

We go to a different site to file my state taxes where I try to register twice and it denies me both times for my laptop having a VPN. I do not control that; it's my school laptop and it didn't even process that's what the issue was for like 10 minutes.

Dad tells me to go to bed. He's tired. That's when I'm allowed to go to bed, when he's tired.

I return to my room and realise my sheets have never been put in the wash, and I can't sleep without a blanket. And for obvious reasons, I only trust that one blanket right now.

I shove it in the wash for a half hour load, but it doesn't fucking matter because my sister's shit is in the dryer at 45 minutes. She doesn't have an empty basket in the bathroom to put the dry stuff into should it finish and someone else needs to. Her shit is going on the floor in about 20 minutes.

I'm laying on my bed, very cold, just waiting for the fucking wash to be done so I can go to sleep. Except, I know it won't be because my sheets take like two hours to dry at high heat, which also means I won't have my comfort jacket for tomorrow.

I just want to go to sleep and can't because I'm stressing over the idea of going to school in not my comfort jacket.

Honorable mentions: My cosmetology textbook has really misleading information regarding synthetic wigs and its pissing me off. I was supposed to go to Walmart today so I could get breakfast for tomorrow. We had a test in English that gave me a lot of anxiety.

Who is cool with you waking up every little time something happens?

Neji comes to mind because he's the same if his pup makes any noise or movement. He immediately cracks open an eye like 'is my pup being kidnapped??'. He will be very happy if you do the same, it makes him feel safe and like he can trust you to look after your pup like he does.

L wouldn't care at all, if you somehow through some miracle managed to make him agree to go camping XD He's up all night on his laptop working anyway, he just blinks at you in the dark everytime you wake up, which is probably a bit unnerving lol,

Simeon would find it endearing and wouldn't mind even if you woke him up everytime as well. He would ask if you were having trouble sleeping and offer to hold his hands over your ears to help keep you from being disturbed. He is new to the idea of camping, but he wants you to enjoy it as much as possible, even at his own expense.

Mirio and Kirishima are types to not mind at all if you wake up a lot, they just give you a sleepy grin and try to coax you back to sleep hehe, cuties!

It'd go the same way as I described it before, but Moon's reaction would be different.

If Joren kills MC before they make a decision by accident, then Moon would give them a miracle. Not in this life, though, in this one Joren goes crazy and stays with MC's corpse for the rest of his days.

HEYYYYY I THINK I TOLD YOU RECENTLY ABOUT HOW IM GOING TO THE MUSEUM WITH A FRIEND THAT I HAVE FEELINGS FOR AND I DIDNT KNOW IF IT WAS JUST AN OUTING OR A DATE. I STILL DONT KNOW BUT WE WENT OUT TODAY!!! I arrived there a bit early which is good for me because it gives me time to panic beforehand and I also realised the Christmas markets were right next to the museum. The museum was quite nice but not particularly interesting but I was talking a lotttt. I tend to be quite quiet actually but when I’m alone with them I’m constantly talking so I hope they are okay with that. My mercury is in their first house tho and my mercury has conjunctions and trines with lots of their placements. Their sun also conjuncts my moon which is cute. We got matching animal thingys at the museum gift shop. But afterwards, we go to the Christmas markets and it was raining a lot so we both had our big coats on and was sharing an umbrella. Ik that isn’t particularly significant but I liked that I got to be closer to them for a bit under the umbrella. But the umbrella kept breaking and going the wrong way because it was also extremely windy. I think it’s really cute when there’s games at an arcade or fair and one person wins a toy/plushie for the other so I kinda hinted at doing that but they didn’t win :/. I chose to do hook a duck so it was quite easy for me and so I got a hedgehog but I didn’t give it to them. It can be our child tho that I look after. We played darts but I failed miserably and they did alright but didn’t get enough points for a toy jellyfish. Then we searched for churros and were walking around everywhere and it was one of the last stalls where we got them. We were planning on surprising our friend who works in a shop but idk if we came at the right time or not. We waited there and started looking very silly just standing there and so we gave up. We went to different shops and looked around but didn’t buy much stuff. I did buy presents though for the person I have for secret Santa. After shopping we went back to the bus stop and hugging before they got on the bus. As there were a lot of people getting on the bus, it stayed there for ages so they waved a few times whilst i was waiting for my bus. I enjoyed it and they seemed too as well. Later on though some of us were talking on a gc about celebrity crushes. The person I like is the type to just read the stuff on the gc but not say anything really unless directly spoken to and so they were reading all of what we were saying. I put some pictures of Hyde of L’Arc en Ciel on there and pointed out how I loved his hair in one of the pictures. Another friend pointed out of the pictures and said “DAMN ITS GIVING SOMEONE” and it made me realise how he low-key looks like my friend I like in the picture especially with his hairstyle and yeah. I still don’t really know if it was a date or not (pretty sure it was just an outing but I’d like to be believe it was a date) but going to the museum and Christmas market as some of my favourite date ideas so yeah.

Im so happy you had a wonderful time. And it sounds like you had a really great time and I think either a date or just an outing at least you got to hang out with someone you like and go to know them better. I hope you get to spend more time with them and if not have a relationship at least build a really strong friendship.

Hello, this isn't really asking you something so i'm really sorry. I'm not sure if this rant is even something you'll care to read so feel free to delete it or whatever. I found out this week that i've got endometriosis and that there's a good chance that I wont be able to have kids. I wanted them. Not imminently but the point stands.

Anyway, it got me thinking about how people always use infertile women as a kinda 'gotcha!' when debating the definition of women. They always go on about how 'if women are the sex who produce ova, then what about infertile women, hm?' And i've just kind of been thinking about how this defines my social identity as much as being a woman capable bearing children would determine my social identity.

I don't really know what i'm trying to say here. I'm still a woman. I'm still classed as a woman. I have this condition that honestly fucks me over because I am a woman. I am only unable to bear children because previously it was believed that I was able to. My position as a woman in society defines my identity as much as (and is immutable as) my position as a white person or as an older sibling.

I don't know i've just kind of been mulling on it and it's just been bugging me, the implication that all of a sudden i'm some sort of subcategory of woman. Or some sort of slightly less definitive woman. Like i'm on the borderline. I've always been a girl and it just kind of feels like thats another thing this is taking away.

Anyway, really sorry to bother you. I hope you have a good easter or whatever. Sorry again, you don't have to read this I just saw your thing about what it means to be a woman and thought you might be a good person to send this to because no one wants to hear it.

First of all, I’m so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. You know this already but it doesn’t mean you’re definitely sterile - I believe Halsey has endometriosis and gave birth a few years ago, and of course there are countless other examples.

I actually have PCOS so while not exactly the same, I also grappled with potential infertility and felt that same grief you’re experiencing now. It’s very hard. You need to allow yourself to grieve because it truly is a very emotional experience, especially for someone who wanted children eventually.

In no way are you less of a woman or a subcategory of woman. “Woman” is a broad category, and the inclusion of women with fertility issues isn’t at all controversial. In fact, this is one of the most woman-specific experiences you could have. Many many women struggle with infertility and various disorders of the reproductive system. I don’t actually care to strictly define the term woman, even while maintaining that trans women are not analogous to biological women, because I think that it ends up creating bizarre divisions like the idea that infertile women aren’t women (I don’t think there are many GCs who believe this, but their narrow framework of womanhood essentially states this). Making a division there is unnecessary. But having endometriosis is something only a female could have. I know how difficult this must be, but I hope you manage to find some peace with it <3

Excuse me, but I read your post about gender segregation as a way of removing women from the public/establishing public spaces as men's spaces and I thought it was a great point and it made me think. I am working on what is, technically, an essay on this exact subject to go into more detail about how segregation was not only about a reluctance to integrate women into the public sphere, but that it continues to reproduce systems of violence against women. Although the outline looks a little different now, you can see some of the preliminary details here.

The introduction of women's-only spaces-- from train cars to bathrooms to reading rooms to separate entrances and exists-- was not the introduction of sex segregation, but a continuation of it. It was the male establishment not wanting women to be in the public sphere, at least, not fully.

And it was done under the paternalistic guise of protecting women from a dangerous public and dangerous men (at that time, the public idea of a "dangerous man" was black). This paternalistic protection is a form of benevolent sexism, an attitude that is shown to excuse controlling and abusive behavior as long as it is believed that it is done with the victim's best interests in mind. It contributes to gender inequality by limiting women's roles and access to parts of the public sphere.

A lot of these things just stuck around. And a consequence of them sticking around is that it subtly and silently pushes women back into the private sphere because separate systems create unequal and inadequate facilities. I gave the example of my best friend & coworker having to stay home for a whole week because our bathrooms are inadequate and cannot handle a woman or female person's needs.

And a lot of people defend them on the basis that they keep women safe even though there is no evidence that they reduce violence. (In fact, there is evidence to suggest that the more heavily sex segregated a society, the more violence there is against women and people afab. It's sort-of a cyclical thing where segregation contributes to the continuation of violence and male dominance while violence and male dominance contribute to the continuation and existence of sex segregation.) There is also no evidence that gender inclusive policies increase incidents of violence. Women's only spaces fail to actually keep women safe from predators and perverts. I say that as someone who has been assaulted in women's locker rooms and as someone who knows several women who have experienced the same. I was assaulted by women and girls in these spaces. Many of my friends were assaulted by cis men in these spaces, and none of them "dressed as women" to do it. It's essentially slapping a band-aid on a huge societal problem and calling it a sufficient fix. It isn't.

Although, people seem to assume that me saying this means I want to abolish all bathrooms or something. I still believe that everyone deserves their own sense of comfort and privacy in the public sphere.

They also seem to conflate legal and historic sex-segregation that persists into the modern day with women carving out spaces for themselves where their presence is denied. A women creating a girls' wrestling team because there are none isn't creating sex segregation. The segregation already exists in the fact there is no girls' team. A woman founding an all women's college isn't creating sex segregation. The segregation already exists in the fact women were denied higher education and still have a harder time getting into higher education. Filling a need is a far cry from legal and historic segregation.
