Share a (fun?) fact you've learned recently. (Don't need to be Sims-related) 🤩

I seem to be full of fun facts lately so thanks for asking lol. I recently learned about the differences in the caffeine content of tea and coffee. Tea has about 66% less caffeine than coffee, but tea contains an amino acid that binds to the tea which causes the caffeine to release slowly over time. Coffee doesn't have this amino acid, so the caffeine is released immediately and doesn't last as long which perfectly explains the crashes, jitters, and whatever else people experience. But personally, it explains why I can drink coffee at night and still go right to sleep at bedtime.

I always thought caffeine didn't work for me, but since learning this and doing my own experiments lol, I've found that the coffee effects just don't last as long for me as it does for most people. I have found that slow release that tea does to be exactly what I need, especially when I'm trying to stay up later than usual.

If Maxis was to make another crossover pack (e.g. Journey to Batuu) what would you like it to be?

Oooh, that's a good question, Elsa. (I'd send random questions myself, but I hardly come up with good ones. 😭) So, another crossover pack that adds another theme park world to Sims. (Sorry, Batuu is a theme park in my game.) Probably one that allows aspiration-based mission gameplay. I'd say: Westworld.

Destiny : Past . Especially the day of her birth to understand why she seems cursed ... She'll actually know (and you as well) on the DH4 finale ...

Leïla : Past. The day of her parents accident ... She got her powers from that day... But how ? I guess we'll find out during DH3 !

Renji : Future. Between 50/100 years after our days. To see if he's still a vampire ...

Hiro : Future. Around 10 years after, to see if he found Renji 🥺

Aïssa : Future. Around 15 years after, to see how she's dealing with life. She'd actually would be super interested by all the future trends to inspire her own collections, her activist trait would be super aware of everything political and controversial, she'd want to discover as much as she can so she could find some kind of peace facing those upcoming events.

Milo : Depending on the mood. Past would be for special events like the first Woodstock Festival (Milo is a huuuuge music fan) or a gladiators orgy ... But deep inside he'd actually want to visit his last days to see if he'll be loved and not alone the day he leaves this World ...

Julia : Future. Around 20 years, to see her successfull life ... But does she have 20 more years ?

Asami (She has not appeared as an official character yet but she's already around some posts here) : Past. The day her granny became the Supreme Witch of Glimmerbrooke ... (We actually know how in my story Rise, but as it was my first attempt for a sims story so in order to include it better in DH, I might do a little remake before DH 4)

Chester : Future. Around 5 years later, to see how his life with Soraya is and if they became parents. He would also tried to know if some major History events happened, especially in the Occult World ...

Soraya : Future. Around 5 years later, to see how her life with Chester is, if her restaurant is successfull, how Leïla is dealing with adulthood and if she'll be a mom .

Hello!! ✨ I would love to see a functional wall phone and reclining chairs as well(I know we have the first as cc, but I’d love to see ea create new interactions for it!!)

A pack I would love is a mixture of ts2 free time/ ts3 ambitions pack, it would bring a lot more gameplay wise stuff and a sort of Bon voyage remake?? Now that we can create rent houses we should be able to make hotels 🏨💗

I think my favorite sim to find things for is Fallon, even if that doesn't happen very often. She's my favorite sim of all time, and I'm just so obsessed with her.

I haven't found anything for her recently, but most of her wardrobe is by the amazing @sifix. I made a post showcasing some of my favorite outfits of hers here.

Honestly, any time I find a piece of well-made fantasy cc that fits one of my OCs, I get really excited. Unfortunately, fantasy cc isn't very common, which is very, very sad. (Please, more fantasy cc!! I would sell my soul!!! Idk why no one has converted anything from bg3 since the full release..... There were some old conversions, but nothing new...)

Who is your favourite sim to CC shop for and what's your latest find for them/him/her?

Thanks for the question! Finally at my desktop to answer this! I honestly can't decide who I love dressing more, Nadia or Nick, so let's do them both! Can you say bonus??

Nadia has this sexy classic vibe going, and I love finding things that are either meant to be vintage or super conservative and put them on her because she has this uncanny knack for making everything look amazing, current, and unwearable for anyone else lol. And of course, I get really excited when I find her a new suit. Both of us are feeling a bit awkward now that she's not working lol. But every now and then she just needs to dress up.

Nadia has the most specific style out of all my sims. I don't usually shop for her. Her outfits usually jump out at me when I'm shopping for Melany and her never-ending closet lol. There are so many pieces I've downloaded specifically for Nadia that no other sim can wear. This particular outfit above wasn't the last thing I downloaded for her, but it was the last one I saw and knew this was one of those Nadia-only outfits.

Nick's vibe is "swaggy geek" lol. Y'all know he loves a good cardigan. My friends see cardigans and automatically think of him and send me links lol. Every time I find one, I sing, "Niiiiiiick! I got another sweater for yooou!" I have so many cardigans, he can't wear them all, and I halfway hate the summer season because I want to put all the sweaters I've downloaded on him lol. In my mind, his cardigan collection needs its own closet that just may be bigger than Mel's. He's got cardigans for every occasion, as you've seen from his bach party and BK's concert. Who knew they made dressy cardigans? He also loves a good polo/button down, skinny jeans, and hot kicks. This is default Nick. Where he struggles is dressing up, which is probably why he has so many cardigans. He goes with what he knows and makes the best of it. But he's got money now and a good bit a fame, and he really does like clothes. He wants to improve his dressy outfits, and he's already started branching out on his own. We'll meet someone soon who will help him on that journey.

The outfit he's wearing above is the latest addition to his cardigan collection. Is it just me, or does he need a clothing line? 😆 Bonus pics below of his latest fancy party and everyday outfit. 😍

Very, very poorly. Kelly does not seem like much of a party girl, and I don't think Rosalind is aware that there are parties without waiters serving canapes. The playlist is going to be utter trash, too.

He did his job for once and appeared in public. Stop the presses!

4 and 5 need to buy a birthday gift for 6. What do they get?

Honestly it's very cute to imagine Elise and Vivi teaming up to buy a gift for Freddy! I think they'd get him tickets to some kind of cultural event or something.

3 asks 6 to teach her/him/them something. What is it and how does it go?

There is no answer to this question because I think there is literally no scenario where Rosalind would ever ask Freddy to teach her anything.

1 finds a seemingly lost cat. What does she/he/they do?

Kelly would probably take it in. She has a thing for strays.

5 has to buy a quick snack for her-/him-/themself, what is it?

Vivi and snacks...she feels like a fruit gummy kind of a girl.

6 uses a search engine (Google or similar) and searches their own name. What are the top results?

At the present moment, the top results for Freddy's name are almost entirely breathless coverage of his relationship with Emily with a side of engagement/proposal speculation.

4 has to take one of the other numbers to a date. Who's the lucky(?) guy/gal/other?

Elise is taking Andre out. They have a lot to talk about 😬

2 invites all the other numbers to a party - except one. Who's left out?

Andre isn't inviting Kelly because he has no idea she exists.

3 learns a dirty secret about 5. What is it and does she/he/they keep it?

Rosalind learns that Vivi's in the process of having an affair with Julian...she doesn't want that getting out publicly, but she wouldn't keep it from the rest of the family.

4 has lost a bet and must get a tattoo. What will she/he/they get?

Elise getting a tattoo...I think she'd get some delicate floral tattoo somewhere easily hidden.

Helloooooo! This OC prompt will take some time (maybe) so no rush! Take your time! Take your OC to CAS and give them a look that's VERY out of character for them. Something they would NEVER wear but would look decent on somebody else. Have fun, sul sul!

Octavia or Lady O was perfect for this prompt. She tends to lean more conservative when she dresses. So, most outfits shown above she wouldn't wear unless they were longer, or showed a less stomach (she insisted I at least put stockings on her for the first two) Swimsuits on vacation are a different topic. Also, she has grown very attached to her dreads so these hairstyles are inspired by her three daughters. The red outfit is her style but with her daughter Brianna's twist. The argyle sweater dress is Trinity's style. The last two are Violet's playful style.
