#i got to chat to my cousin yesterday fir the first time in a while and hes the living embodiment of ''a little confused but got the spirit'' #but it was really sweet like at one point he was like idk if this is gonna be rude to say but happy pride month? is that rude to say? #and i was like no thats not rude thank you! and later he also asked if it was ok to ask for my pronouns and then did idk #also i diagnose him with mom friend lol one of his friends called and i could hear just his side of the convo but it was just did you eat #today? is that all you had? you should go get more and then get some sleep and when he got back i was like youre the mom friend #and then he turned on me and was like have YOU had dinner yet??? #idk it was a nice interaction #just me rambling again #i mean generally i have a very the kids are alright feeling after i interact with younger friends like the neighbor kids #i really enjoy teaching things to the neighbor kids and i always love when theyre genuinely interested? like i once made a joke about #something being a chekhovs gun and my friends little sister didnt know what that was so i explained it to her and she thought it was cool #also even uneducational conversations are fun like me and my friends little brother both have adhd so sometimes we'll talk about #like stuff we can relate on and yesterday we took a walk and just spent most of it talking about fidgets and sensory stuff we like #adults always joke that im good with kids but i think thats just the fact that i talk to them like theyre human people idk #i mean to be fair i guess the 2 oldest of the younger neighbor kids and my cousin are about a year younger than me so that doesnt #really count as kids lol. i mean i guess im still a kid technically idk
