one thing i noticed as a Leo Venus is that making and sharing art is the most enjoyable when it comes from the heart. As soon as I think about 'trends' and if it's digestible for the public, if it's marketable, the whole process is ruined - but when I draw pictures or poems for friends, or decorate my room with the gifts and pictures of loved ones, suddenly I thrive because love is guiding me and directing the environment I create.

finding beauty in the mundane

#i think one of the biggest things i will miss on campus when i graduate is the quad and kerr hall #the quad because it’s beautiful in every single season and is the calmest place on campus #and kerr hall while confusing and very hard to navigate evokes a bit of a bittersweet feeling #like today when the sun hit just right while it was setting it felt like i was back in high school after school and everyone’s gone home #it felt like the day before summer or the day you graduate when everything is cast in this orange glow and you feel both alone and a part of #something greater #i also slept for 2 hours. So. maybe I’m just trippin LOL

I know that I belong to something bigger than myself

I know that I am here on borrowed time

I know that the mission I am on is bigger than me

The first mission starts with learning to love myself

If I cannot learn that this time - I will be back to try again

I have to love myself unconditionally

I am so focused on giving unconditional love to everyone else

When I am not taking the time to make sure I am feeling the same

I do know what it feels like

the love greater than anything I have ever known

the unsung heroes of times past that went unnoticed in their time - ridiculed for their genius

usually living a lonely solitary life. Is this necessary? To find 'the answers' to and from the All... You have to quiet the mind. Quiet the chaos to hear the whispers. Whispers that will turn into yells if you do not respond.

The whispers can be anything from minor aches and pains to health scares.

Thoughts - 'random' events - the actions of your life will dictate how you experience life.

Going wild about how each chapter shows a different facet of horror

The circle of Vassal and Veil: horror in the environment.

A classical look at things, there are forces in this world beyond your understanding, they will chew you up and spit you out. See them, know them, survive them, adapt to them.

The circle of Needle and Thread: horror in humanity

Really powerfully done, a showing in how people can be horrifying, do horrible things to each other with the most human of reasons. Nothing beyond our ken is necessary for true horror to take place.

The circle of Tide and Bone: horror in the self

Rather complex and with a sprinkling of cosmic flavoring there but, where did you start? Where will you end? It is always a rough road and how will you change, be changed? What will you lose, what will you give up? What parts of yourself are worth the losing if it means you get a step closer to what you want, what you need. Who are you, if not for the people and things you care about, what happens to you when they're gone, how far will you go in their absence? Will you look back and see the person you were as someone entirely different, something in you twisted, lost? Will it have been worth it? The horror in change and the fact that you cannot go backwards to the way things once were.

Cannot wait to see what the Circle of the Crimson Mirror has to offer

You know her face plates that move? She needs those in her mer form too.

I have an idea for the scooper too, but I felt that this post would be disturbing enough so I kept it out.

This is not 100% accurate, but honestly I just wanted to go ham. (I know she has a tongue in the fic, it can still be hiding in there somewhere, I just didn't find a place for it in any of these drawings)

aside from everything else about durgewyll I am loving how it highlights wyll and gortash as narrative foils. both their upbringings lead them to interact with demoniac entities, both can only become archdukes and join baldurian high society through uldred, both are swaying the dark urge from simply following bhaal (and arguably the dark urge sways them from simply pursuing an ideal and the dark urge can recognise both as their equal)

and by playing your card right in act 3 wyll just...gets everything gortash was trying to get? wyll really is a hero saving baldur's gate from the legion of the absolute. wyll influences gortash's favourite assassin into becoming someone they can defeat the netehrbrain together. they can even become archdukes together! ...or they can turn it down and then they can go to he hells to sneak around and have adventures (like gortash and durge used to) and save karlach's life (the same life that is at risk because gortash mindlessly threw it away).

like. it's a lot, wyll and durge can even murder raphael.
