Folks tend to bring up Questionable Content as their go-to example of early generation webcomics that are somehow still updating which have gone in very strange directions, but I genuinely think Something Positive is weirder, in spite of having fewer fantastical elements now than it did back in the day. It's sort of an "ordinary people dealing with impossible situations" versus "mundane situations populated by the most eccentric people you've ever met" proposition.
I was updating contact info for a patient in the database this morning and realised the country code was accidentally set to Palestine (swear on mi life I didn't do it).
It genuinely made me smile to see it though, to see that our database recognises Palestine at all. Maybe it's a small thing and maybe I'm being ridiculous but just thought I'd share.
Pope Benedict passing away on new year's eve is kind of cool in a way. It's a beautiful reminder going into 2023 that we'll all run out of new years and die eventually, so we should do the best we can with the time we have
In the spirit of trying to postive about this time of year and not seeing Christmas as something to dread. I offer up my own question thingy. Questions are designed to hopefully spark good memories and things we actually enjoy about Christmas. Feel free to tag people you think would like this.

Here's a little positive tought that maybe will make one of you smile:
I know how lonely things can get, i know that sometimes we think that we're invisible and we don't matter. I promise you, you do matter. Relax and please just take a moment to breathe. Look at all the sunsets, stars, the green leaves on the trees. You exist in this world and all of these beautiful things were made for you to look at. Give yourself time to heal and never let anybody erase who you truly are, just because they think you're different or "you don't fit in". You're the most beautiful person and i think it's so amazing to have someone like you in this world 💕
Two more children who were illegally taken to the territory of russia were returned to Ukraine
Two girls together with their mother were deported from Luhansk region to Ryazan. There, the mother died, and the girls ended up in an orphanage
Fortunately, the girls still have an older sister who asked for help. Work on the return of the girls lasted about a month and a half. And so, finally, the girls are reunited and are completely safe.
One of my sketch commissions asked for “Unity sewing on Wil Wheaton’s missing arm from Something Positive,” and if they thought they were going to stump me they were so very wrong.
Video Caption - After leaving Nasser, we don't have a place to sleep and eat in the street 💔 Praise be to Allah
It's amazing isn't it? Despite being targeted and attacked, despite being injured and watching their friends get hurt, they can come together and be thankful for the blessings they have. Like still being alive, having something to eat and be able to share it with each other. They're even smiling after their ordeal. Praise be indeed ❤
Im learning to become kinder to myself, it’s currently a low level kindness but it’s something. Im noticing a shift in my energy recently and I’m excited to see where it leads.
