Here comes a small ramble about how RadioApple and your art kinda made my mind explode/pos

I used to be very icky about RadioApple and any Alastor ship, really... I'd go "Ew! Respect the aroace rep!" and block away anything with such contents... But after crossing with your tumblr I was enthralled. In special the "No touch Day" small comic, something about it made me feel happy.

Gosh, I never had seen that type of aroace representation... I kinda knew it was an spectrum, but never got the meaning of that, I'd just assume it wasn't for my understanding as a pansexual (supposedly the opposite).

But holy shit- With your Tumblr not only did I get the meaning.

Now guess why the "No Touch Day" comic makes me so happy? Because it made me go "haha, funny I'm kinda like Alastor in that one. Probably that's why not every single one of my relationships worked, sometimes I'd just not feel like romance or getting touchy, haha... OH"

... Guess who now knows they're pan and somewhere on the aroace spectrum? Exactly, me!

I feel a bit awkward sending this, but I felt like you needed to know the huge (good) impact your art got in someone's life :D

I'm very glad you like my No Touch Tuesday comic! In fact, it's very near and dear to my heart as well! On some days my friends want to cuddle, but I would feel too out of it to touch anyone. It happens to me Too!

Honestly I project a lot of my real-life experiences onto my art (has it been Obvious?), so when I hear that You feel the same way, I feel seen! So nice to know I'm not alone :)

I hope to do this Pair more justice in the future! It's very Fun to explore their dynamics and illustrate them in silly comics and such :D I hope you'll Look Forward to it!

Weird rant but like, it kinda makes me sad a large portion of scarab art is just that of his farmworld disguise that started to melt into me just obessing over why i love scarab's design so much

i dunno, i just always found it funny scarab litterally pulled the white-twinkifacation beam onto himself and the fandom WENT FOR IT. Like i have nothing against people just having fun and humanizing him [human scarab with nerd glasses truithers i owe you all a smooch/p] but when i see just this [albiet cannon] design over and over when the whole point and reasoning for his deign existing was to be a disguise and not resemble him at all,,,,,, his human form is in like 3 scenes total yet i swear i see more art of THIS than his actual design sometimes.. and it SADDENS me cuz like HIS REAL DESIGN IS THE COOLEST SHIT EVER??

His most-used form being so regal and sharp, the monochromatic red design just RAIDIATES menace and power, he's pretty much completley humanoid if you ignore the fact the suit IS his body and his arm/leg spikes, his design really gives off something that isn't human trying to replicate humanity. AND DUE TO THIS HE IS FULL OF BODY HORROR POTENTAL TOO LIKE???!

I just love how his regal and humanoid form just LEAVES the second he is at his lowest point in the show, [the universe he searched for and jumped through so many fucking hoops to locate and destroy becomming cannon and thus his efforts became null and void.] his body language just DROPS the whole "proper but deadly" facade and my man just goes full BUG MODE, gaining another set of arms and crawling around, he pretty much gives up on hiding his real face too which is ANOTHER DESIGN ELEMENT I REALLY ENJOY

He only really takes it off in acts of desparation [threatining fionna into getting his weapon back] or an intimidation tatic [jumpscaring Gary after bro threw baked goods at him-] and the second he no longer has the upper hand he slams it back on, i just think its a very interesting element i have anylized to HELL and back because i have combed through all of his screen time on multiple occasions.

During his absolute moment of glory, [in the process of repo-ing fionnaworld his mask is off, bro is grinning he is elated he is exited as hell] and his FIRST reaction to the shock of his erasure not working is to slam his mask on before anything else. Now i have my headcanons on what this means but i just kinda wanted to ramble on about why his body language/design has been keeping me in a CHOKEHOLD latley

anyways before i spend like......an hour writing this i'm gonna post it i just NEEDED to get his design elements into a post before i fucking explode =)

Are there any notable supporters you reccomend? I kinda ignore the class except for gnosis (and I do use scene and deep color in IS a bit) and I wonder if I'm actually sleeping on some fun units.

YOU CAME TO THE RIGHT NEIGHBORHOOD, MOTHER FUCKER, I LOVE SUPPORTERS.

Suzuran - 6* Decel Binder. The moral of Arknights is that children make excellent soldiers, and Suzuran proves this. Her two Talents are really good, as she serves as an incredibly potent SP accelerator for Supporters (+0.4 extra SP per second, so Supporters will charge 40% faster, herself included), and all enemies suffering from Slow (the actual status effect Slow, not the movement speed reduction effects one can find on Manticore or Chung the Hung, for example) in her range are also inflicted with 20% Fragile (so, they take 20% extra Phys, Arts and True damage from all sources). It doesn't have to be Slow inflicted by her, any Slow will do, so Angelina's S2 machinegun Slow will render an enemy vulnerable to an ass kicking quite effectively, as will Podenco's S2, and any source of Slow additional to Suzuran herself. S2 gives her an extra target on every attack, 2 extra targets with Masteries, alongside a minor Attack buff and, more importantly, infinite duration, meaning she can control more enemies at once and better prevent Slow Dilution (what I call when you Slow an enemy, then the next enemy passes them, making them the next target, and so on, diluting damage and clustering them; this isn't necessarily bad but it can be undesired depending on you strategy). Her spotlight stealer, however, is her S3, which expands her range, provides strong passive healing (so unhealables can be healed), doubles her Fragile Talent (40%), and Slows everything in range. Gnosis Fragile is bigger (50%) but he only maintains it in comparatively shorter bursts, Suzuran's S3 last 35 whopping seconds, and enemies that are Slow-immune are far fewer than Freeze-immune. This section is particularly big because, yeah, Suzuran just really does that much, she combos VERY well with other Supporters, can be slotted in any team, and just generally works, I'm not even a Suzuran fan, she's just that jacked.

Podenco - 4* Decel Binder, real name GODenco, also slots easily into any team, can switch to healing on her S1, or provide bursts of Silence, AoE Arts damage and Slow on good upkeep with her S2. She also provides a minor passive buff to other Supporters. If you need to Silence things, you think of the best Silencer, Lappland, but sometimes you need to Silence a LOT of things, enough that Lapp might get overwhelmed, well, that's when you use GODenco S2 and suddenly that entire cluster of 8 exploding spiders won't go boom no more. She's really good for Slow Dilution because of her single target into AoE skill, so she combos really good with AoE hitters like Artillerymen, Fortresses, Chain Casters, Qiu Bai S2, etc.

Shamare - 5* Hexer, a good execution support, as she applies 30% Fragile to enemies in range under 40% HP. Her main hat trick, however, is her S2, her signature Cursed Doll. At S2M3, the Cursed Doll, which you deploy on the field and it affects its tile and the 8 surrounding tiles, will provide an absolutely ungodly debuff of -50% ATK and DEF to all enemies in said range. One of the rare ATK% debuffs in the game, and in my opinion the best, it'll make even Gopnik hit like a wet noodle. What's more, since it's not an active skill, the moment you drop your Cursed Doll, Shamare will immediately begin charging the next one! With a charge of 30 and a doll timer of 15 seconds, her true charge time is 15 seconds. Basically, you can cycle 15 seconds of regular enemy stats and 15 seconds of halved enemy stats. This is legitimately insane. Since Shamare's stats are also unimportant, you can just leave her at E2Lv1 (unless you want her Module, which imo is not worth the lv2+ and I'd only get the lv1 if you really like her) so she can be a cheap and powerful investment.

U-Official - NUMERO UNO CAMPEAO DA PENTA

Quercus - 5* Abjurer. I'll keep it simple here: Her healing with Module is bonkers, and she provides Shelter (damage reduction%) to units in range above 70% HP, 60% with Module Lv3. S1 is her permanent Healer mode, toggable on a long cooldown, while S2 is her burst healing window skill, notable in that it provides SP to healed units throughout its duration. Quercus is sleeped upon, she's a REALLY strong Supporter that provides SP, healing and bulk.

Orchid - 3* Decel Binder. I include her here if you want to play Integrated Strategies, because she's always a good free pick there. She's the Slower that Slows.

Roberta - 4* Artificer. I include her here because my stream audience will disembowel me and chain my flayed corpse outside the Museum of Modern Arts if I don't, she's my meme unit. THOUGH, her Shield-providing, DEF enhancing tools can come in handy.

Valarqvin - 5* Ritualist. The IS4 free unit. Significantly stronger in IS4 due to built-in Necrosis Damage on autoattacks, but even outside of IS4, she can be useful for bursting or key enemy elimination with S2, as Necrosis is a strong effect with a built in, decaying ATK% debuff (again, rare) and unmitigated DoT (total of 12000 damage over 15 seconds, 800 dmg per second). Nothing so far in the game resists this, so go ham.

Angelina - 6* Decel Binder. Angelina's whole thing is that she's not a standout unit in any regard, but she can support practically every team, can so strong sustained damage and Slow against single targets with S2, strong multitarget Slow and reduced Weight for Shifting with S3, and passively increases party ASPD and gives them passive healing (works on unhealables). Angelina is kind of like a crowbar or a length of rope in that she's as useful as you can be creative with her, never as a stand out, but as a good brick in the overall house.

Ling - Limited 6* Summoner. Kind of an obligatory mention, but basically, God Mode. One of the gamebreakers, as she can produce 4-Block replenishable immensely powerful summons with multitarget equal to block, Arts damage, and damaging auras. Yeah. Even without that monster of an S3, she can sub Burst Damage and crowd control really well with S2. Her applications are insane, she's so strong that we can be here all day, so we won't do that, she's a very well documented unit.

Skadi the Corrupting Heart - Limited 6* Bard. Again, another well documented unit, but she can basically E3 your units with the sheer stat heft she provides through her S2 buff, can deploy an extension to this range with her Seaborn Summon, and if you really want to go ham, she can enter Microwave Mode with S3 so True Damage cook the shit out of anything, in addition to providing a really big Attack bonus to units in range while at it. Well documented unit so I'll keep it brief but yeah, godlike unit.

There's a few more, like Proviso and Scene, but that's enough for now. "Your forgot to mention--" I didn't forget, you do it.

I’m not sure when this was actually invented , but he’d probably try and convince everyone to make battery acid candy drinks . ( they all say no 😔 )

Sorta sad headcanon they if no matter how hard to tries to solve a difficult puzzle , and he fails , he just starts silently bawling his eyes out . Cause you know he’s really good at them right ? He can solve them pretty quickly ? So if he’s like absolutely pressured by a bunch of people watching expecting him to win ( or like his friends cause yk they believe in him !!!! ) and he can’t solve the puzzle he’ll be like “ why can’t I solve this why is this hard why am I failing “ or something and then start crying ig ( Yeouchers angst 😿 )

Bro is the heaviest napper ever you can stack things on him for HOURS but the moment he actually sleeps most things can wake him ( if he’s not comfortable at least . He’ll sleep pretty well at sleepovers )

I can’t figure out an art style for him but I updated it so ignore that last drawing it’s grody anyway he sometimes draws people but prefers just random splotches of color . Aidlyn cuddling is mostly done at Aidens house cause his parents rarely go up to check on him ( 😅💥 ) and also he had a ton of blankets for Ashlyn to wrap herself in . He got her a heavy weighted blanket for her birthday one time so when that’s not around she just uses Aiden as a blanket if she’s feeling affectionate ( he’s warm in the winter time and pretty light believe it or not )

Has a medium spice tolerance , eats more then what he can handle like a stinky loser

They always try to persuade me that you have to behave perfectly and pay attention to social image.

🌚Aquarius moons why are you so aggressive guys? You often start a conflict and do a lot of cruel stuff. Like just CALM DOWN, please. Sometimes I'm kind of scared to stand with you. Seriously for me, you're kinda overreactive and hot-blooded. But you know how to stand up for yourself and defend your personal space. 🌚Gemini mercuries talk super fast. You know, when they tell me something, it's very difficult to memorize all the stuff. Jack starts babbling which is... funny. Hiccup is the babbler between the two of them. For all his flair and fun times, Jack is surprisingly introspective and quiet when he wants to be. Whereas Hiccup's anxiety explodes outwards, Jack just curls into himself. That's how he vanishes so easily from parties. When people go looking for him, expecting noise and a flurry of movement, less people notice him when he hushes up and falls behind.

There's an art to it, something that he - clumsy and awkward Hiccup - can't quite master. Jack can get any ball rolling, pushes it right off a cliff until people are carried away by their own laughter, swept right off their feet. Then in his cleverly created commotion, he just... slides right out, quick and clean and easy. People don't realize he's gone until hours after, when the ball finally comes to a stop.

So... Babbling. Hiccup does that. Jack doesn't. Learning about him takes an awful amount of patience, literally like waiting for water to thaw. He doesn't just talk talk talk. But he is, right now, about Nightlight. Because yeah, okay, Hiccup should have seen that coming. Jack would come apart about Nightlight - it's like Nightlight is a very important person to him, or something. As if Hiccup hadn't witnessed or listened to all the times Jack spoke about a missing part in him! Hiccup shouldn't be so surprised and now he's frustrated at his own surprise which is just... great.

"You... are not listening, are you?"

Hiccup blinks, finding Jack uncomfortably close. He jerks back. "Whoa! What? Yes, I was!"

"So you heard the part about me eating yellow snow?"

"You what?!"

"See!! You weren't listening!!"

Hiccup rubs a hand over his face. "Okay, fine. Sorry. I just... Wouldn't it be better to tell Nightlight about all this? Since he's your Other Half..."

Yeah, this is incredibly mature of him, honestly. He's not being petty at all, noooope.

Jack laughs that bright, tinkling laugh of his. Hiccup feels his stomach drop to his knees. He could listen to Jack laugh forever, he really could.

"Hic... I think... There's been a misunderstanding? But also it's hard to understand in the first place. I think the closest explanation would be... You know how Toothless is your best friend? Who understands you better than anybody? And at some point, you literally completed each other - him needing you to fly and you needing him to fly, that sort of thing? Well... It's like if you woke up one day and you had to share the same body."

Hiccup thinks this over, weirds himself out, then thinks it over some more. "I can... I can kinda imagine that?"

"Good, because my thing with Nightlight is only sorta like that. It's the closest thing but it's not exactly like that. For one thing, me and Nightlight never had separate bodies like this before. I never got to know Nightlight as someone outside of me. It used to be... hard sometimes, to see where he starts and I end. But... not in a bad way. He was - I was - We were something completely new. And now..."

Hiccup knows this part, grown familiar with this - the waiting. Jack has spoken more than he's ever spoken before, but Hiccup can tell that he's still only saying half of his thoughts. There's a lot more hiding under that shock of white hair.

"... Well, the point is... We're not together... like that. I wasn't, you know, flirting with you just for kicks and giggles."

Yeah, that makes sense. Of course, Jack... Wait. Uh. What. Wait. No. Wha- He? Then? At Hiccup? Huh?!?

"Aaaaaand I broke him. I think I broke him. Hiccup are you in there? Blink once for yes, twice if no!"

"You!"

"Me?"

"You - You - You said that men loving men was not done from where you came from!"

"Ah, yeah... But I also had like 300 years of experiences that were more or less coloring my perspective of the world, whether I realized it or not."

"You were flirting with me? Since when??"

Jack adopts a positively sly look. "Since... You showed me your big black dragon..." He wags his eyebrows. "... Then took me on a ride, up and down, and up and down."

Hiccup gives him a flat look, grabs Jack's hood and pulls it over his face. "Whenever you're ready to take this a little more seriously, just let me know."

Jack struggles briefly with pushing up his hood but when Hiccup finishes speaking, he pulls it further down, hiding his eyes. "Weren't you listening, Hics? I've... I've always taken this seriously. This, I mean - I've always been real about you, anyways. I..."

Oh. "Oh." Oh!

Jack shuffles back a few steps, hunching over, keeping his head low, and out of sight.

And Hiccup is... He isn't many things. But he does like to think of himself as smart, and... And he can put the pieces together - that he and Jack and Jack's Nightlight might have to stay apart.

Kurotsuchi wouldn't resent the fact that he harbors any romantic feelings towards you even though depending on the person it can either surprise or confuse him that something like this had even occurred. In his mind, only a fool would deny and hate something that happens naturally because trying to reject a mental and physical process is just plain weakness. And he tends to be a very straightforward man, too. However, he deems these kinds of feelings to be very... well, inconvenient with his position and status to put it simply. It would take up too much time and resources to try to meet the standards of how one usually reciprocates feelings (because of course he has to or else you would probably nag him about it) and would just literally sabotage his image in the eyes of other Shinigami which is a huge fucking deal for him. So to avoid any misunderstandings or unnecessary heartbreaks if he knows you like him Mayuri would choose to never acknowledge anything that is happening. Which is kinda... contradictory to his own opinion on the matter so he fails miserably to hide his sympathies sometimes lmao. I'm sure he can be biased toward people he likes or people who like him whether he intends to be or not

It's especially bad if you make positive, or even better enthusiastic, comments on his appearance. In this moment his ego just overshadows any last traces of the rational approach he had to the way he deals with his love for you and gives way to all kinds of other things. If he's feeling generous enough he can even let you watch him put on his makeup or plan his next outfit accessory. You said you like his hands? Why thank you! Now you can watch him show them off more frequently by gesturing or making more physical contact while touching your shoulder for a brief moment for example. You showed interest in something he made just for himself? You'll find it on your desk later whether it's food, some accessory or a small device just to make some mundane task easier and/or more fun. Jizo's pea brain can't or doesn't want to grasp the fact that he's making a huge fool out of his own Shinigami and it's not like Mayuri can just make him explode like he did in the anime because Jizo is practically glued to you which undoubtedly will make it hurt and makes him contemplate this decision, further proving that they both share roughly the same feelings towards you. However, he does understand that his owner is trying to separate you two so Ashisogi Jizo won't hesitate to try and paralyze even him with the extruding blades if Kurotsuchi tries to get him off you. All of Mayuri's sympathy would just manifest in the most annoying way when his zanpakuto's spirit form is present, turning the yellow creature into a clingy possessive baby who constantly seeks attention by squealing non-stop, as if talking, or giving small gifts. In this scenario, Jizo would return to his sword form only if Mayuri accepted his fate of "co-parenting" for some time a.k.a. spending time together while other captains and lieutenants are busting their asses fighting their own zanpakuto

Hello-oh sweet Hylia!! BEASTY!!!

Stole the breath right out of my lungs with this! I wasn’t even sure if I was going to do Smut-tember for myself, but after this… how could I not?!

Okay okay… the Fem!doming!! One of the best things in the world is to have a tough, masculine man under your thumb to play with and control.

- Time! Oh my dear beloved… I think my first fic writing post was Malon and Time with all that, but would love to add some of our other lovely men to it. Especially First, Twilight and Fierce! Having them beg is just… satisfying all on its own. 100% agree with the HC!

- OMG!! I haven’t but I will be!! These poor men are going to go insane with Reader just slowly making them watch and wait like good boys. Reader just stops right in the middle of giving pleasure, moves away for several minutes to make the lust grow. The Voyeur in the group (whoever that is) is going to come unglued because Reader knows he likes to watch and makes sure he is last.

- Say no more! Reader would have no issue figuring out how to keep that mouth shut and turn Legend into the proper bedroom gentleman.

- All the hell those obsessed women put Warriors through, he needs to be cared for and doted on with praises and soft touches. Make sure he doesn’t lift a single finger because it will be all about him and Reader won’t be like all the others that leave him in the morning as if he was a piece of meat or a trophy to screw. He deserves the world!

- Reader stuck in the wall?! Oh this will be yummy! Reader tried to get into the next room (the wrong way) by crawling through the too small of a hole in the wall and is now stuck. Good thing one of the Links are there to protect their backside… Reader just turned into the best side quest ever. 

- Fairy!Reader and Fairy!Hyrule! Lol! Hyrule just disappears for a whole night and comes back in his normal size, all drunk and covered in pollen. Time and Wars would be the only two who really know what just happened to him.

- FOUR/COLORS!!!! Reader is going to want to work with him/them more from now on. This could also be a really good HC where Four may keep away from sexual activity not because he doesn’t like the acts or physical contact, but because it just turns into a war inside his head since each of the colors like something different and may dislike or not be okay with what another color wants to do. Split though… The Colors are small sex machines!!

- Wild getting secret pics while skinny dipping, ooo better not get caught! Them going to a hot spring in the middle of the night and just stripping and hopping in would quickly turn from lazy relaxation to a game of chase because Wild got caught taking pics, ending with a different type of play. They need a way to release all their worries, what better than the thrill of someone seeing them, steamy hot water and the pleasures that come with Wild between Reader’s legs? Wild still gets to keep the pics and deffo uses them!

- Okay, that's hot… Reader (Fem or male for this one!) is nearly taken out, but Sky gets there just in time as Reader screams/hollers and he goes on a full rampage (white eyes and lightning!). Wide eyed and slightly panicked, Reader won’t hesitate to thank Sky, completely ignoring the fact that they both have blood on them. The fear of what could have happened would make this a very passionate scene as Reader is wanting to give thanks, but Sky wants to feel that Reader is alive (his god-like powers still flowing while doing so).

- Ooh my weakness… feral Twilight being rough and bossy without words… He wouldn’t be able to keep his hands off Reader and finally gives up and bends them over. When Reader can’t keep quiet enough as he savagely takes them, he puts a hand over their mouth (back to chest!) and tells them to be good. When that still doesn’t work, he will need to give them a reason to be quiet.

I seriously can’t decide what is my favorite!! You have done it again and I thank you.

I will be writing these, but for everyone else, I’ll boil down the prompts to fit all fandoms.

So. I mentioned in the tags of one of my first posts back that I had to announce a few things that'd probably lose me some followers, but like I don't blame anyone if you do skedaddle because I know most of you are here for the monkie (totally understandable tho)

That being said I am no longer hyperfixated on jttw/Sun Wukong and that likely won't happen again for a while cause main the thing that caused me to clock out for so long kinda left a bad taste in my brain. However I will eventually come back to it. I can guarantee that. It just won't be for a hot minute (maybe who knows I can't control my brain lol)

As for the 10 billion asks I have in my inbox rn I'll be taking screen shots of the ones that have to do with monkie and such and putting them in a folder so that when I DO get back into jttw I'll just immediately start with those. So yeah if you sent me a really long ask FEAR NOT!😃 for I refuse to get rid of any of them 🥰

With that information tho, I never really intended for this to be just a monkie blog that's just what my hyperfixation had been on since I started. But I also tried to force that hyperfixation to stay way longer than I should have so that I could keep making content that my followers would like which is a part of the reason why I needed a break for so long. I wore myself out, and I needed to convince myself that it was okay for me to make content that makes me happy too. 😌

Tho unfortunately that does mean all my current projects will be on hold and I'll be updating the titles on ao3 soon to On Hiatus. 😔

AJDJDJDGG OKAY SO. this is SO fucking good but ive been putting it off for so long bc i wanted to draw something to go with it but i’ve just. never figured out what so inevitably i’m just gonna answer it on its own

this subject in particular is SO FUNNY for me to think about bc i think the kids’ reactions depend a lot on how their parents talk abt it and both of them handle it in COMPLETELY different ways. like uknighted dream is pretty open abt it (obviously they give the incredibly watered down kid-safe version) and they kinda use it as a learning experience? like in very vague terms.

rapunzel: <:) well yknow how if you shake a bottle of soda, when you open it it explodes everywhere?? well sometimes when we bottle up our feelings and don’t do anything with them or talk to someone we trust, they end up getting all shaken up in there, and eventually theyll explode! mama cass and i used to have a lot of trouble talking about our feelings, and because of all those emotions that got bottled up and shaken around in there, we found it hard to properly communicate with each other at all. but then we realized how much we really cared about each other and how we really wanted to make things work, so we learned to be more honest about how we felt and how to communicate with one another without everything just ‘exploding’, so to speak. and thats why we always teach you how to manage your big emotions, does that make sense? :)

on the other hand VARIAN? literally could not care less. at least not with the ud kids. he still has one of his wanted posters that hugo grabbed as a “souvenir” on their trip, and the automaton he used to fight rapunzel? its still in the corner of his lab and he pulls it apart regularly for scrap metal.

when emery comes along though varian is like “okay we are Never addressing this again” bc em thinks varian is SO cool and varian actually cares So much about his newfound image. (very stupid of him for that to be his main priority obviously bc emery is like 4 and if she knew what he did she would probably just be like “okay. can i have apple juice”)

anyways yeah ilmari and the twins don’t really tell her anything either because they don’t really see it as anything worth telling her about, especially in comparison to way more important things like the fact that lance will sometimes sneak you dessert before dinner if you can convince eugene he has a gray hair without him catching on. so obviously emery grows up fairly unaware of anything varian has done but the defining factor is that shes constantly hearing about it out of context and is just left to struggle with that enigma.

like you know the experience of being like 14 years old at the family thanksgiving and you get to sit at the grown ups table for the first time and hear about all their weird beef and inside jokes and also hear your aunt mention out of context that hey your dad went to prison once bc that’s LITERALLY what the tangled kids experience in relation to their parents’ pasts. like the twins forgot about most of what varian told them by the time they grew up, they knew the watered down version of what happened with cass but they never knew the little details right. so they’ll just be hanging out playing checkers together while the adults are sitting across the room chatting over drinks and varian jokes “oh man its just like that one time cass kidnapped me” and all the kids immediately whip their heads around like “WHAT?”

this is ESPECIALLY true with emery who’s parents are notorious for having more insults for each other than pet names. em could just be reading by the fireplace late one night and var and hugo come out for a midnight snack and just start talking like

hugo: sometimes i think maybe objectively we should be evil again. like just for fun

varian: honestly. i took over the kingdom once i could do it again no problem

hugo: you’re probably actually strong enough to do it yourself now 🥺

varian: you want to kiss me so bad it makes you look stupid

emery: ….right so are we just gonna brush over the “again” part or did you guys forget i was here

varian also eventually realizes that by doing this he is replicating EXACTLY how quirin used to be secretive of his own past and how like one day varian just suddenly had to grapple with the knowledge that his dad who baked pies and fed the apple peels to his raccoon probably had a kill count. and obviously varian is absolutely distraught over this revelation

“HUGO HELP ME. I think im becoming my dad” “oh. well hey it happens to all of us it could be worse. besides your dad is hot so like i see it as a win win” “What” “what?”

i should probably also mention that ilmari knew about cass’s villain arc long before they even MET and ilmari actively tries to use this against her when they’re like 13. like “yeah well you cant tell ME what to do i’m gonna tell alina and ryder you tried to stab mom when you were in your 20s” (it doesn’t work btw)

he goes by he/him and hes a regular mahopon, he wanted to be a megaton though unfortunately he was too short and lacks a mouth. despite that he taped a horn onto his staff and uses mahopon magic or somethin idk to make it work. he is not the brightest but hes moreso clumsy than anything else. he really admires any megapon or ton or men and may get distracted having a autism moment in the middle of a battle. also he doesnt have actual magic mant/cape vamp, he made this replica himself because it looks cool :>

havent really decided on chickens pronouns yet they havent came to me so ill be using they to refer to chicken for now

anyway, chicken is a Chigyobi Cannogabang or if we pretend patapon 3 doesnt exist. a chigyobi robopon. theyre a gremlin who loves to make things explode. for fun. theyre also smaller than the average patapon but that will not stop their path of destruction. they are very energetic and fast and the kind of guy to go blehhh :P after breaking something :]

she goes by he/her and is a megaton and also a zigoton general (they kinda new ones after the events of pata 1 lmao) he takes her job quite seriously but can easily be flustered by compliments

shes quite neutral on the patapons not really seeing them as a enemy, but still keeps an eye out knowing theyve taken down many zigoton forces before

also. he is short. he wears stilts to seem tall.

dont let his hat fool you, he is not a general or high ranking at all, he just likes this hat. he does want to be a general one day though, and looks up to the current ones a lot. hes not very good at fighting though and its honestly quite incredible hes still alive, though he is quite good at identifying what went wrong/what to improve on, unfortunately though a lot of the time people interprete it moreso as him looking down at them rather than constructive criticism :[ he gets very excited sometimes and someone else needs to take him out of a situation to help him calm down.

hiii im here to steal your art secrets again. do you have a specific process for drawing snorpy and floofty's hair (or at least the individual locs) i want to replicate it or i'll explode

i wouldn't really say i go through any specific process while im drawing their hair aside from just drawing it like how it looks.

but i did try to make a little explanation of how i draw/visualize the individual locs

(snorpy has a hat so you cant really see where his hair begins whoops) The locs i give them are Very stylized. They're really just round, tube like shapes that are slightly narrower at the top and wider at the bottom (not all locs are like that, sometimes there will be no major change in the diameter in a singular loc. but in the case of these two i decided to make their hair like that).

That's kinda it, since i dunno how to fully explain how i draw em lol, but hope this helps you somewhat! I also highly recommend looking at irl examples of locs + other art tutorials made for them as well! I'm sure they'll go a lot more in depth than im able to lol
