because i have been in fandom since the year 2000 and therefore this is how my brain works, i think this is my current hogwarts house sorting point of view on the gilmore girls characters. how far off am i from what you would choose? (yes. this is THE most 2000s internet conversation to be having in 2021.)

gryffindors: lorelai, lane, logan, christopher

hufflepuffs: luke, dean, kirk

ravenclaws: rory, jess, sookie

slytherins: paris, richard, emily, taylor

#i know sookie seems like the pure embodiment of all things hufflepuff #but i think her passion and inspiration for cooking and the way it drives her really strikes me as a ravenclaw trait somehow #it's the creativity!!!! #also christopher strikes me as sort of a failed gryffindor #in that i think his values are to be brave and valiant but he can never live up to them #so i guess what i'm saying here is chris is peter pettigrew #i think logan is kind of in a similar boat though we briefly got to see him rise to his potential #somewhat same with dean because the concept of a hufflepuff with an anger problem is tricky #but i do think his core values are all hufflepuff-y #also i kinda feel like my slytherin section is too easy #but i really do feel like ambition is the driving factor for all those people! #is this a silly way to spend my wednesday evening #dollsome's deep thoughts #gilmore girls #also i like to think of lorelai as a gryffindor who would've been a hufflepuff otherwise #and luke as a hufflepuff who would've been a gryffindor otherewise #*otherwise #this is why together they are Good
