hi. <3 i'll never get enough of how you gush about sukuna being cultured and a lover of the arts, you consistently put out headcanons that also inspire me to write my own interpretations and i appreciate you so much for it.

but my main question is, what kind of art do you think modern man sukuna would like? in an alternate universe where he was born in the current era. so many fics about him being a chef, a tattoo artist, a history professor — but i'm eager to know what you think.

*cracks my fingers* I've stared at this ask for hours. Lets do this.

Basically, I can see him doing a little bit of everything. He's studied the proper way to produce haiku in canon, references thousands-years-old poetry, and shows himself to be something of a connoisseur of the arts by speaking in a flowery, ornate sort of language, using words like "uo" (Most notably: he references a Chinese poem in canon by the name of "Odes to Bei-jin gu (No. 4)" during the binding vow with Yuuji, uses "shiremono" instead of the modern "baka"when insulting Mahito, calls himself "datenshi" which in modern times means to strike instead of using it like he does for "fallen angel", etc. He uses outdated, ancient dialect borrowed from literature, essentially.) He's well read, refined, I dare venture to say he might have gone further and consumed Heian Era arts himself as a human being before becoming a curse, and he carried over the love of art as a result. (It scares anyone expecting an unrefined, unintelligent monster.) I even posed this to my groupchat to see what my writing partner thought, and they and I have never entertained the idea of him being a history professor, but with some thought, we could both see it. Listen. this is one of the things i want to express about him so much and in every world/au/verse: he's a man of culture. He's a man of the arts. Some arts more than others, of course, particularly the culinary arts as opposed to song writing or directing, but that's not to say that he doesn't have a vague interest in other things. Especially in a modern day sense; he is someone who consumed information on anything that he likes like a man starving. He'll know vague trivia, fun facts, and all sorts of things. Phones and Google tend to be great companions to him when he's engrossed in learning about something. But this is also where I feel like he is more akin to Megumi's interests since he also finds better company among books than in the company of other people. Or Gojo, who also consumes information at a rapid pace. In my writing, he tends to fall into being a tattoo artist (mainly because of the precision required to be good with needlework, and he's someone who can design free-handed as opposed to having a ready-made design to reference for every client. Not to mention that he gets to work in a little bit of everything as a result of different personalities coming in, and he's forced to scheme out and draw all kinds of things for the client's approval. Cats, calligraphy, in memoriam, cityscapes, watercolors (a favorite because it required prior knowledge of lighting and color theory), white ink, he's a wide-range artist that gets a good idea of the client's personality before he basically kicks them out to spend some time designing/sketching. It's also a talent forever being molded, and he can do it anywhere. That's not to say thats all he's up to though. Sukuna's got some talent in the kitchen for sure. He basically learned from consuming all kinds of information from books to video tutorials and watching others cook while he was younger and before he had a good idea of what he was doing. Megumi and Yuuji are his subjects for taste testing. It's the only time Yuu is allowed in the kitchen, frankly. Try to tell him how to work in his own damn kitchen though and he'll point a knife and tell you to get out. His kitchen, his rules. Don't like it? Eat shit then. I can see him liking a lot of arts. Painting, writing, haiku-making, music, composing, it can go on and on. Mostly because he can appreciate the time and effort behind those talents. Arts are the height of human capability.

Day 14 - Favourite lyrics

Where should I begin? Idk but... I have lots. One of the reasons why I connected with B-T, besides their sound, was their lyrics. As I mentioned, when I immersed myself into them was a pleasant surprise because they have lots of artistic and literary references. And considering I'm a bookworm, my emotions intensified. On one hand, Imai has a source of creativity that is endless. His world is so abstract that makes it strange, fascinating and confusing (?) at the same time, like in Madman Blues or Aikawarazu... Also, I like that he incorporates surreal elements like dadaism in the compositions.

On the other hand, we have Sakurai's poetic world, with tons of symbolism, metaphors, mystery, duality, esoterism, and dreamlike scenery. I love his recurring world; the empty room, the womb, the night, the blood, flowers, Moon, Death, etc. Besides, Atsushi has a lyric-writing talent to express sensuality and erotism, even when approaching sex, he manages to catch your attention... I adore Datenshi and Cream Soda because of the topics and the word play. And same happens with sadness or other dark themes, his words are expressed in a beautiful and breathtaking way... I think of Guernica no Yoru or Taiyou ni Korosareta. The lyrics from his side projects are also meaningful to me, some of The Mortal songs resonate with my worldview <3

Well, I think Maimu Maimu shows how skilled Sakurai is with words. 

Anyway, I can't chose one.

i saw a post the other day like "song u would like but it has one part u dont like" but i couldnt think of anything at the time BUT I REMEMBER NOW.... datenshi. this song is so fucking good & i do like the chorus as well but holy shit it feels like it shouldve been a different song. i fuck heavily with how the rest of it sounds but the chorus feels like a more. idol type of song. which is not bad like i said i do like it it just doesnt feel like it goes together to me. also esper-chan no koufuku literally so close to being a major hit with me i LOVE espers & the non vocal parts are so brain scratching but "watashi wa esper" parts are not doing it for me.

OK I am now completely sucked in to Buck Tick.

I just typed this out somewhere else, but I'm going to preserve it here as I have a habit of deleting posts in that forum because that artist has Prior in terms of mining my words... I'm uncovering deeper and deeper layers to the obsession. I hope no one minds if I document it here, but it's relevant to a ton of other stuff...

Because this is partly about the importance of hermeneutics and uncovering multiple layers of meaning and context to songs and to lyrics. How the entire meanings of songs can change.

So this is about Datenshi (Fallen Angel) a nice glam-stomper of a song, which appeared to be about... well, yet another song about angel-f*cking. The fact that BT have more than one song about angel-f*cking tells you something about why I'm becoming obsessed with this band - so far it seems most of their songs circle around a cluster of themes:

-sex -angels -astronomy -haha I'm a madman

Anyway, Datenshi (Possibly a more literal rather than poetic translation here)

I was actually looking for an explanation for why so much angel-f*cking when I found this interview. (And the date - February 2020 is so heartbreaking - Sakurai explaining why 2019 was so dire for him, and hopefully proclaiming that 2020 will definitely be better - but like foreshadowing in a horror movie, we all know what happens next)

That the fallen angel - the Blue Angel - is actually a part of Sakurai, who has been wrestling with what he describes as hikikomori: I know this term from neurodivergence discourse, the state of total withdrawal that results from social anxiety, burnout, depression, using addiction (or escapism as a form of addiction) to blot out a too-painful world. That it sounds like he had been wrestling with existential agony, grief and urges towards self harm.

That the "I'm falling, aren't I?" refrain is presented in the song as falling into the hell of desire - but the desire is actually for bodily self-destruction. Like, it's an almost sexual desire, to be in love with your own negation, so seductive if you are that-way ideated. (Which I have been at many points in my life. It's a constant thread I'm never fully free of, even when happy.) But the song is a way of embracing it and turning it into something creative, even beautiful.

But I'm finding it so strange that the same metaphor he uses (of falling in a spiritual or "downfall" sense) is the same one I was feeling when coming *out* of social withdrawal and depression - that the same sensation of letting go and falling into an abyss (of obsession with a new, enticing Special Interest) was what I felt redeemed me, brought me back to life?

Reminded of that old saying: "If you do bring forth what is within you, then what is within you will redeem you. But if you do not bring forth what is within you, what is within you will destroy you."

It makes me wonder what all those other angels in the other songs are, really. It's becoming clearer that the monsters - the vampires, the incubi, the madmen, the SS officers - are parts of Sakurai he's trying to come to terms with. Is the mad angel in the ruins of Zangai that he plunges into "deeper and deeper" (while swearing it's the last time) this same blue angel of his own desire for self-immolation?

(On my other big personal obsession, I do notice that the grief for this friend that plunged him into existential questioning - this appears to be the friend he refers to in the interview from 2018, way back at the beginning of this obsession. The person who introduced him to Japanese expressions of gender queerness - "men, but with women's souls" as both he and they put it. Which Sakurai seemed to be coming to terms with and embracing, when they died. It is terrible to lose a friend; it's even more devastating to lose a friend who was providing you with a door to a hidden part of yourself. But that is almost entirely me projecting!)

Congratulations if you go this far. I'll shut up now. Please BE KIND to a newbie if this post escapes my own personal circle and travels to a wider audience.

Fact 3: AffluentProgeny!Janon still has his soft spot for children. When his parents aren’t around, he will donate large, (yet unnoticeable to his parents), amounts of money to children‘s hospitals and orphanages. But AffluentProgeny!Janon would be dead in a gold-plated coffin carried by his personal butlers before he‘d ever admit to his acts of goodwill.

Fact 4: In an effort to put his past behind him, Soldier!Fusion worked as a scout troop leader for a couple of weeks in the summer, which has given him great experience with children. Soldier!Fusion also gives out seminars on scouting skills, (such as knot-tying, First Aid, and ukelele-playing). 

Fact 5: In order to blow off steam, Biker!Fusion II would either meet up with Baseball!Iris and hit some of Iris’s infamous “Comet-balls” using her signature steel bat, or meet up with LuckyStudent!Dream and set a couple of games for her. She will never admit it for she has a reputation to keep up, but Biker!Fusion II has really grown a soft spot for these two happy-go-lucky athletes. 

Fact 6: Despite what his talent would suggest, Swimmer!Eldritch is terrified of deep sea life, with anglerfish and jellyfish being the scariest by far to him. Even mere mention of the deep sea in conversation would make Swimmer!Eldritch jump into the nearest body of water and attempt to swim away, even if it is something like a sink or a fish tank.

Fact 7: You know those striped thigh-high socks that programmers are usually stereotyped wearing? Well, not only does Programmer!Sparkle wear them, but she has a whole extensive collection of special sequinned “programming socks”, in her walk-through closet. 

Fact 8: LuckyStudent!Dream can’t help but feel curious about gambling against Gambler!Nerd. Either Gambler!Nerd wins against the obvious novice and adds one measly point to his unparalleled win streak, or this novice’s luck would trounce the expert, thus leading to both the expert’s winstreak and the novice’s nose being broken.

Fact 9: Programmer!Sparkle, FicAuthor!Myth, MoralCompass!Wyre, Fashionista!Curious and Idol!Scar all play DND together, with FicAuthor!Myth DMing. Programmer!Sparkle is a Warlock, MoralCompass!Wyre is a Barbarian, Fashionista!Curious is a Cleric and Idol!Scar is a Bard.

Fact 10: When Clairvoyant!Purple first met FicAuthor!Myth, Clairvoyant!Purple was convinced that FicAuthor!Myth had mystical powers just like her, with how easily FicAuthor!Myth read her like a book. Despite FicAuthor!Myth’s claims to the contrary, Clairvoyant!Purple keeps a close eye on FicAuthor!Myth for any other signs of psychic power.

Fact 11: As crazy as it may sound, MoralCompass!Wyre and Biker!Fusion II have found some common ground, besides both being armed with bats; they are both massive fans of DaTenshi’s music. Ever since Idol!Scar noticed both of them air-guitaring to one of her songs, Idol!Scar gave the two tickets to DaTenshi’s latest concert. MoralCompass!Wyre and Biker!FusionII were both on cloud nine by the ending chorus!

YouTube Excursion - Just Random Stuff I Pulled Out of a Trash Can I call “My Taste”

 I usually don’t make these because they’re not popular, and there’s no point trying to choose five videos when these posts are for me, and I can just good through my liked videos on YouTube. However, I wanted to share some of these with the... 5 or so mutuals I have that have survived 2020. 

This first video struck me in the superficial feels. I’ve played a little Wild World, City Folk was my childhood (besides Pokemon), and New Leaf was amazing! I really liked all the new innovations. Unfortunately, I haven’t gone back to be mayor in a very long time. 

If you didn’t know, SpongeBob was the show I watched a ton growing up (like a lot of people). I actually got into seiyuu because I was amazed by American cartoons and the different voices that filled those cartoons. If you didn’t know, each SpongeBob voice actor plays a ton of characters within the given show. Watching them getting a mainstream interview and seeing this interview made me so happy. I was grinning like a fool like I did when I first read the cast lists as a kid. 

I’m so glad I read the manga. Some of you guys really don’t know how to keep your spoiler mouths shut. This song might hit in the feels if you know context. 

This is me. My feelings get hurt when I can’t eat the same food as my villagers. That soup looks yummy. Those popsicles look so good. Those sandwiches, smoothies, donuts, etc. THEY EVEN EAT BBQ WITHOUT ME. THIS IS BULLYING. *ahem*

(I wrote this despite the fact that the person I tagged, whom I highly respect and probably should’ve just DM’ed or something but I’m too nervous, probably knows more about this than I do...)

This V-Tuber also promoted Kimetsu no Yaiba (an anime where both Suzumura and his wife THE Maaya Sakamoto) both play characters.

Edit: You can really tell it’s Suzumura because when Yoshino was asked, “What is your impression of Suzumura now?” He was like, “Maaya Sakamoto’s husband.” And he got so flustered and broke character faster than my grades dropping. Apparently, Suzumura makes good egg foo young. Suzumura also has that “Mamo squeak” kind of laugh when he laughs too hard. It’s amazing how seiyuu have really different laughs from their characters. Yoshino is single and doesn’t really care to get married, but he also asked, “I know there are plenty of wonderful women out there, but where do you meet them?” Then Rinkuro just goes, “Oh right, Rinkuro (3rd-person) is single.”

I’m just so pleased and happy to have made it! I have so many existing incomplete stories that it’s astounding for me to actually complete a multi-chapter story. Once again, I’d like to say a huge THANK YOU!! to my readers for staying with me to the end, providing me feedback and expressing interest, motivating and inspiring me enough to reach this point.

The following is really just about my rambling, about my thoughts, about the planning process and my decisions, so do keep reading if you’re interested in the makings of this story. I just feel like sharing (aka: blah blah blah) since, again, I actually friggin completed a story omg (´；Д；｀)

First of all, let’s go way back to near the end of October 2016, not long after LLS Season 1 ended. Yes this is so long ago lmao. After drawing several canon-related fanarts and writing short blips to satiate my thirst, I decided to create a complete whole AU so I can fantasize more XD I ended up picking the Harry Potter verse because, come on, it’s always fun trying to Sort your favorite characters and think about their abilities and whatnot.

Ideas started to whirl and initial sketches began. There’s an old post explaining why I Sort the girls into their respective Houses. That’s also when extra details were pondered over, the why and the pros in doing so. You should know by this point that I’m a complete useless 3rd Years trash, but as I brainstorm more, I realize that their story is more suitable to be a prequel, something that supplements a main story. And so, what should the main story be about? What kind of story do I want to present? Who would be the perfect main character/narrator for this?

Yoshiko. In canon, she’s already associated with (black) magic and, as a First-Year and Muggleborn, she would be perfect for a reader to immerse into this fascinating new world of magic through her perspective. As an old post says, I fudged up the School Term and age during the initial stage and didn’t realize until everything’s all finalized, that’s why I had to keep it as it is XD;;;;

Anyway, at this point, I’ve already decided Yoshiko to be a Horcrux, with the antagonist of this story to be Yohane, and how the last few chapters are going to play out.  Everything else, even the other characters’ backgrounds are all further elaborated and refined based off of this central plot. On a side note, how sexy is Aikyan’s solo in the 3rd Live, I mean, the white and black wing I could only think about Yoshiko/Yohane DX

Ahem, I’ve always found Yoshiko’s character fascinating, that there’s a Yohane side of her even though, really, she’s Yoshiko (a good girl). The Chamber of Secrets and the Half-Blood Prince are the main source of inspiration for this particular idea, but of course HP fans might notice many elements from the original story used or modified in my story. I’m also a strong believer that the Patronus Charm can do more than just warding off Dementors or Lethifolds (and Obscurus), hence its significance in this story, especially later chapters.

Therefore, each girl’s Patronus was tentatively decided at this early stage, with 1 or 2 possibilities. After this, I then thought of what ships should this story present. As much as I did not want romance/ships be The Major Point, I have to acknowledge that ships are what people go for in a story, myself included. I understand shipping might turn people away from even trying a story, that’s why I kept it secret for the first few chapters before confirming it on tumblr (where the chapters were first uploaded). I was just testing the waters, to see if people are interested in the story enough to keep reading even if the ships aren’t their preferences.

Back to planning stage - as a multi-shipper, I did not want to set in stone right off the bat what the ships are either. And thus I continued expanding on ideas and see where things would  go, keeping most of the initial interactions and important moments intact. This is why there are times it might seem there are multiple pairings even though nothing was specified (cough wee kanadia, youriko etc (｡･ ω<)ゞてへぺろ♡). Not to mention, as the main character, Yoshiko will always have moments with each of the 8 girls. I remember joking in an old post that, if this were a gal-game, there are various routes to this story, from the default path to those you have to unlock via certain conditions XDDD

Naturally, members of the 1st-year trio and Guilty Kiss get more screen time with Yoshiko. Then, as a fellow Slytherin and part of the tsurime trio, Dia does too. Not to mention Season1’s anime ED shows You & Angel together, You gets special moments too. Chika is Aqours’ leader who first accepted Yoshiko into the group as datenshi, so I tried to show that as much as I could given the circumstances in the story. And so, this leaves poor orca on the side lol. But yeah, YoshiMaru, YoshiRiko, YoshiRuby, so many possibilities! However, as more details get finalized, such as Yoshiko’s childhood, her Shiira-KANSU! Patronus and about the Augurey, YoshiMaru just happened. Things seem to click into place with their love as the focal point and I was able to keep expanding the story. First puppy love, innocent and pure. A dream that grew to become reality. Could other ships have worked? Yes, but then that would’ve given this story a different direction and it wouldn’t have been LLSHP AU – Yoshiko Tsushima and the Fallen Angel anymore. As I developed YoshiMaru more and more, I was very satisfied with my choice.

On a side note, I confirm Yoshiko did have a crush on You at first (and Hanamaru had a crush on Kanan) xD it’s mostly just physical attraction in a “the-senpai-I-admire” kind of way, and it soon morphs to strong friendship as this story progresses. I don’t know if this was obvious at all but that’s why these two girls always have a soft spot for Gryffindor Baka#2 and Baka #3 xD!!!

On the other hand, I was not expecting DiaRiko to form. Yes, it was my guilty ship but I didn’t intend for them to be a couple in this story, just close friends/confidantes. In canon, they’re already the straight man of their respective year trios (most of the time anyway, I’m looking at you ponkotsu penguin). Yet, given their respective pasts and personalities, they became intimately close and found solace with each other, and that kind of relationship is what I tried to show to the readers, especially through the Carbonado Interlude. They’re not predestined to fall in love but they did and found happiness. Out of the four ships, I was most worried about DiaRiko since it’s a rareship unlike the other three. That’s why I keep saying how pleased I am that it ended up being well-received by fans ;;A;;

ChikaYou came to be as I finalize the 2ndYears’ background and Riko’s part, while KanaMari’s story is set aside for the prequel and thus not given much spotlight in the main story (and also due POV effect). In spite of how much I adore ChikaYou, it’s also not shown much because of what happened in the story but also because I wanted to present their dynamic as a duo and CYR bond with Ruby (since that’s how Yoshiko perceives them most of the time anyway).  

Ruby, my widdle cinnamon roll baby, is left unpaired for a reason. I want to show that platonic/friendship love is just as wonderful and powerful. There’s a saying ‘lovers come and go, but friends are for life’, and that’s exactly what Yoshiko and Hanamaru meant for Ruby, and vice versa. Now, while I’m on this, I have a confession about Ruby’s fate. After the concept arts were drawn and uploaded, I was finalizing the details of the three Arcs before I toss the first chapter onto tumblr. The end of ch19 is definitely one of the biggest climax of the story - Ruby ended up being Yohane’s target instead of Dia. Originally, uh, yeah, Ruby is supposed to die because her wounds were too much. Regular healing spells do not work on sectumsempra, only a special counter-Curse could reverse the effects. I tried very hard to find a way around it to save her. I don’t want my baby to die, any of them really, and she still have so much ahead of her. Fortunately, I was able to save her through Yoshiko/Yohane which, in turn, saved this raven-haired girl as well. I was able to continue working backwards on finalizing the Arcs and individual chapters with a peaceful state of mind.

‘Yoshiko’, as in the one who’s been narrating the story from ch1-20, still died in a way, but at least I was able to change the story from Bad End to True End (?). True End is the ch21 I uploaded. Bad End route would have Ruby dead, Yoshiko gone and ch21 would turn out completely different. A Happy End would be Yoshiko the Narrator miraculously alive and the others not having scars or still recovering, but I just find that too unrealistic. I’ve minimized the, uh, damage enough as it is, given the circumstances. J.K. Rowling did go on a killing spree in Book7 but come on, with a psychotic maniac like Voldemort and all those magical spells, you can easily kill people. You don’t need Avada Kedavra to kill someone, a sudden Diffindo or Reducto is enough. I’ve chosen my sacrifice and one is too many already. And speaking of sacrifice, let me talk a bit about Riko and why she was the ‘first victim’. Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare. Even though this story was outlined even before the First Live, this song already stands out to me from the anime, a song where the 8 of them sang in Riko’s absence but her spirit is still with them. And so, I sort of portrayed that the way it is in this story. Even though Riko didn’t get any lines from ch12 onward until ch20, her role remains significant and is the pivotal point for the remainder of Arc2 and Arc3. In terms of the plot, I’ve followed my outline quite closely. All the core points remained unchanged as I write out the chapters, though how I write a chapter (ie the wording, the extra little details, and actual professor dialogues instead of just narration) did change as I go along, influenced by more of the official content. Facts about characters that are only revealed in Season2 or other media such as SIF etc were not incorporated into this story (for example, Kanan being afraid of ghosts and height). As I mentioned in an older post about wands, I would have chosen phoenix feather for Ruby’s wand core had I known about the Duo-Trio results. The Kazuno sisters would have been incorporated into the story alas, back then, very little was known about Saint Snow in Season1 of the anime. Yes… season2 was finished and, like, a total of 15 live performances have happened between the creation and the completion of this story LOL Back to the plot. Seven is said to be a magical number in the HP verse and that’s why each Arc has 7 chapters. Arc 1 is the Intro, Arc 2 is the turning point, Arc 3 is the climax and the resolution. Sounds easy and straightforward so I thought I would’ve finished the story within a year. Well. It ended up almost taking two years lmao. Obligations IRL aside, new ideas, more AUs, more fanarts etc also make sticking to the update schedule difficult. It’s the worst when it comes to writer’s block – you have the outlines, you know what’s supposed to happen in a chapter, yet the words just aren’t flowing and you’re stuck. Thankfully, with you lovely readers giving the feedback and encouragement I need, I made it over each bump on the road to get to the finale. Hanamaru wrote most of this story, yes. Each chapter titles with exception of Ruby’s interlude and ch18-19 also showed up in ch21. The title of the ‘book’ is supposed to be revealed in the Epilogue but, since I had to upload it onto Fanfiction.Net, I can’t just call it LLSHP AU so I had to reveal “Yoshiko Tsushima and the Fallen Angel” right away. Back then I called this a temporary title because I did think about giving this story an alternate title, since she didn’t write the interludes, ch21 and the epilogue. However, at the end of the day, this still suits the story best. After all, the individual titles for ch21 and the epilogue make up the story’s title.

“Yoshiko has always known that she isn't normal like everyone else. Surely, she would master everything about magic at Hogwarts, and become the amazing fallen angel she's meant to be. Little did she know, her school year would be more than eventful as she makes great friends, uncovers secrets, and learns what it truly means to be Yohane.” - this is the summary I put on Fanfiction.Net. It speaks from both Yoshiko the Narrator’s perspective, and Yoshiko from the Epilogue’s perspective. It probably sounds confusing but I hope you understand what I mean. So, what’s next? I’ve invested a lot in this world of LLSHP AU already and there are still so many more possibilities, especially with the rather open ending both ch21 and the epilogue presents, so I’m definitely not done with this AU! Since I have the memory of a goldfish, I don’t know if I’ve already mentioned this but the prequel will be told mostly in Mari’s POV. It will have occasional Dia and Kanan POVs too (because I’m a shameless 3yrs-oshi and writer privilege); Rather than taking forever to write and cramping the scenes into a massive interlude chapters, I’ve decided to split it in shorter chapters - this will roughly be a 12-part story that took place before the main story, showcasing segments of the kanadiamari’s first 3 years at Hogwarts.

This prequel is… relatively normal and lighter compared to the main story, meaning it’s more school-oriented and more slice-of-life episodes for the most part (at least, that’s the outline), and much more Professor cameos. There will be more N-card girls to be showcased as well, such as kanadiamari’s Housemates and Quidditch teammates. Overall, it’ll be shiny °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖° There will not be a full sequel to the main story. Instead, there will be blips/drabbles about events that happen after the main story, as teased in the Epilogue - the TriWizard Tournament for one XD And, unlike the main story, the ideas for blips in this sequel-timeline are more vague, so I’ll be able to incorporate new content into it (as in, from official content 2017 onward such as proper characterization of Saint Snow).

There are plans for omake/filler fun blips as well - little incidents that happened throughout the main story or, rather, ‘excerpts’ that Hanamaru wrote but didn’t make it to the final version of her book. The first Halloween, more scenes with the Professors, birthdays and so on.

There are also plans for character-exclusive blips as well, similar to an Interlude. For example, DiaRiko’s ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) cough cough.

My tentative plan is to keep going with the prequel, and maybe every few chapter or so I’d write a sequel-timeline blip. I’ll see how my muse and inspiration is in the future, I’m already extremely satisfied that I finished the main story XD And I do want to work on some of my other existing AUs (ie Animus AU and Mafia AU just because I’ve already invested time in creating the concept arts and so I don’t want them to sink into oblivion…) or who knows, there might be new AUs. I mean, pretty much every new SIF set is enough to inspire a brand new AU please allow me a moment to giggle like the trash I am over the DiaRiko UR set *pterodactyl screech*

AHEM. Another thing is illustration/artworks. Since most of my time was spent on writing, there are much fewer artworks than I would’ve liked for this story. I think I mentioned this somewhere that I’d love to have an individual cover art for each chapter alas, no time at all DX I’d like to have at least one illustration per chapter too but OTL I can only pick one and so for this AU I chose writing over drawing. Cry.

1. Favorite food? I like all sorts of fruits. But I like strawberries the most! Ah, but I like mangoes, peaches, and watermelon, too...

2. Disliked food? There’s nothing I wouldn’t eat!

3. Favorite snacks? Snacks made with potatoes. More specifically, Jagapokkuru!

4. Your number one favorite home-cooked dish? Cod roe pasta! It’s really tasty. I want to learn how to make it soon.

5. Favorite color? Black, grey, red, and white.

6. Favorite scent? Perfume from Chloe.

7. Favorite season? Definitely autumn. I might be because I was born in autumn, but the temperature is also good, and I like the western fashion during the season. It’s a nice season.

25. Your best outfit? Clothing dyed in jet black. It represents my identity as a fallen angel. In other words, black clothing.

26. Favorite place in your house? In my bed. During the winter, my dogs come and lay in my bed with me, which makes me like it even more.

52. Something you’ve been picky about recently? I’m often picky about my nails. I’m always worrying about what kind of clothes their color will go well with. So recently, I’ve been deciding the theme for my nails beforehand.

60. What’s something you always do once you wake up? I take a bath!

61. What’s something you always do before you sleep? I set an alarm on my phone. I never forget to set it!

62. What do you do when you ride the train? I sleep, or I look at my phone.

63. What do you do to maintain your health? I use facial masks! And I wash my hands and rinse my mouth! And I get a good night’s sleep!

64. What do you do when you have the day off? I sleep in as long as I can...If I have plans to go out, then I do my nails or go to the salon, and get all my shopping done.

65. What do you do when you have time to yourself? I shop online, play games, and sometimes go out to look at western fashion.

66. What do you do when you hang out with friends? Recently, I’ve been going out with the Aqours 1st years to photogenic spots to take photos. We wear matching outfits, too. “When it’s time to have fun, have as much fun as you can!” is my motto.

67. Where do you want to go on your first date? Ehhh? With who? A-anywhere...is fine. Other than the haunted house, an amusement park sounds nice!

68. If you were to confess to someone, what kind of situation would you want it to be? Um...when I’m getting off the train and saying goodbye, as the doors are closing, I’ll say “I like you” and then run away, perhaps…(laughs).

69. If someone were to confess to you, what kind of situation would you want it to be? I want them to whisper “I love you” in my ear. And I would just be like, “Really!?” and let it soak in.

70. What memories do you have of graduation? A lot of mysterious feelings welled up inside of me, and I cried while singing our school song.

71. Something fun that happened recently? Today! I haven’t had a lot of chances to go to amusement parks, so today was really fun!

72. Something sad that happened recently? Us first years were playing a game where we tried to make our eyebrows go in a 45 degree angle, and Aiai (Furihata Ai) told me that my face looked like a Wi-Fi symbol. It was a little sad.

73. Something funny that happened recently? I saw Rikyako’s sleeping face. It was so funny that I cried laughing. (laughs) Maybe one day I’ll release it!

74. Something about your past you want to erase? My dark history!!! I don’t really have any!!!

75. A moment that made you think “This is a miracle!”?

Love Live! Sunshine!! and a sweets shop in Numazu called Grandma did a collaboration called “Datenshi’s Chocola”. And in episode 5 of the second season, Yohane named the dog that she found “Lailaps”. Well...my dogs are named Chocola and Laila. This is a miracle!!!!!

76. A moment that made you think “I’m glad to be alive”? When I’m eating my mom’s cod roe pasta!

77. What wish do you want granted in the future? I want for Love Live! Sunshine!! to be loved by even more people, and to do that, we’ll need to work hard to achieve even greater heights. There’s a lot of dreams that I want to make come true, so I’m looking forward to it.

78. What’s something you wished for that came true? This very moment!! I’m able to sing and dance, and I have the chance to do the things that I love with everything I’ve got.

79. Any fond memories of 2017? Going to Disneyland with the first years!

80. What went wrong in 2017? I cried during the 2nd Live Tour. I didn’t want to cry~.

81. What would you do if you won 100 million yen from the lottery? I would put half of it into savings, and use the other half to go on a vacation with my family. I’ll splurge on it!!

82. What would you do if you had a time machine? I’d go back in time and have fun with my preschool friends and teachers again~.

83. What would you want to do if the world were to end tomorrow? I’d spend it with my family...but I’d be really nervous. I’d probably hold them tight...

84. What would you want to eat if the world were to end tomorrow? I’d eat a ton of shrimp and fried chicken.

85. If you could bring one thing to a deserted island, what would it be? A soft futon.

86. If you were reborn in another world, what would you want to become? I definitely!!! would become a magician!!!

88. If you were to be reborn, would you want to be male or female? Female! I want to be born again female!

89. What’s good about being a girl? “Girls are always the best!” is what I think. You can wear a lot of fashionable clothes, and make your nails really cute!

90. What’s something you’d want to try if you were male? I’ve never had short hair, so I’d want to get a Mush-cut perm. 

91. A challenge you want to take on? I want to try floating in the air like a fallen angel while singing. And maybe try jumping onto the stage to make my appearance.

92. A voice role you want to try in the future? I want to voice an elementary schooler. Or maybe something that’s not human. (laughs)

93. If you could do any job outside of voice acting, what would it be? I have a preschool teacher’s license, so I’d do that!

94. What made you the happiest out of everything you’ve been told? Seven years ago, I was told “Your songs really encourage me. Thank you so much.” It made me really happy, and it was the day I resolved to work hard as a singer.

95. Have you been keeping any secrets from the rest of Aqours? Not at all! Y-yes...I won’t say who it is, and if I returned it, I wouldn’t tell them, but once during rehearsal, I borrowed someone’s socks, and I haven’t returned them for about a year!!!!! (laughs)

96. Where in Numazu would you like to visit again? Mito Sea!!!

98. What kind of moment makes you think “This is Guilty”? Recently, Rikako started tickling Aina, but she keeps it a secret as to when and where she does it. That’s Guilty.

99. Your thoughts on today’s photoshoot? It felt like a really Guilty Kiss-esque photoshoot. The amusement park was really fun, and the merry-go-round really
