I haven’t seen a single comic or joke post about after movie 3, Shadow having to go through the horrendous trial of pleasing Tom to date his son Sonic after almost killing him. Im disappointed.

So…been thinking about the love hearts thing again. Specifically, when it comes to the movies and in particular Tom and Maddie.

So far I have been mostly using 🖤 for Maddie and 🤎 for Tom, based on their hair colors. I have had brief thoughts of doing other colors based on other aspects of their appearance, but those don’t seem right to me for a variety of reasons. (Using different colors based on skin tones feels inappropriate. And while Tom’s most commonly seen outfit is his Sheriff uniform, he wears other things frequently and Maddie doesn’t have “that one outfit” she’s associated with…not to mention there’s no tan heart for the Sheriff outfit.)

It’s not like picking colors for the animal characters’ love hearts, because Tom and Maddie are humans and not, you know, technicolor animals. And it’s not like picking love hearts for a human character from the games or Sonic X because the humans in there have a “that one outfit”. (Not to mention that out of the humans in the games, only two that I can think of are both important enough and nice enough for a love heart. 🤍 for Elise, 💙 for Maria. Because of their outfits, yes.)

But I think I might have another idea figured out.

Based on the background colors of their Sonic 2 posters. 💚 for Tom, 💕 for Maddie.

Or…

Based on the backgrounds of their Movie 1 posters. 💜 for Maddie, 🧡 for Tom.

If I'm not wrong You AU is in Sonic Movie so...

How did Tom and Maddie reacted when Sonic told them that he is dating Shadow?

And if I'm wrong ...

Have Sonic and Shadow planned to hace children?

I actually didn't draw for movie verse yet! I get the confusion since I give them separated eyes, but no movie AU yet!

I plan to do some sometimes soon, and when that happens you can p much expect Tom and Maddie NOT happy, like:
