it warms his hearts that she thinks so highly of him, that every time she travels with him, it’s an adventure. udyati is still listing potential places and time periods to go to, even though some of those would be detrimental to their travels at best and worst. that’s why it breaks his hearts to break hers. because right now she’s beaming at him as she makes a case for them to travel to, admittedly, places in the world with a lot of sunshine.

instead, they’ll travel to karka. if only to stop that war. grishma and her associates cannot handle all of the kindevas alone. 

he’s seen enough wars. and he knows that the kid has, too. but he’s the doctor. and he’ll do what needs to be done. even if it hurts. // @sonicwielded
