Hey.
Hey, hey, Sony?
Sony, hey! HEY SONY!
WHY YOUR MOVIES SO GOOD
WHY YOUR MOVIES SO GOOD, HUH SONY??
SONY WHY SUCH GOOD MOVIES??
YOU TRYING TO BUY ME, SONY? HUH?!
H U H?!?!?!?
S  O  N  Y???????????
.
.
.
Cause it’s WORKING!
GOSH DANG!
First Spider-verse, then Venom, then The Wish Dragon, now The Mitchells vs the Machines!?!
What’d you do, poach all the good employees from the monstrous Disney conglomerate? Start listening to fans? Stop pandering to the lowest common denominator and actually putting your best foot forward instead of making cardboard?
I am thiiiiiiis close to owing you my life, Sony. And that’s not something that I can afford. Probably a good thing Venom 2 got pushed back cause otherwise I’d be looking up ways to legally consign my soul to a third party.

Okay guys, I'm gonna join the other 2 or 3 blogs I found so far who are doing the gods's work and trying to get more people to watch the Wish Dragon movie.
It's a really adorable and heartwarming story about a guy who gets help from a wish dragon (kinda like a genie) to try and reconnect with his childhood friend.
It's all about family and friendship, and not motivated by a romantic subplot, which is actually what made me like it so much.
So, to the like 10 people who follow me for unknown reason, and whoever happens to stumble upon this post, please go watch it. Give it a chance. I also wasn't thinking it would be so good but it is, trust me!

Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage (2021) review:
Tumblr media
THIS SHOULD'VE BEEN R-RATED
review by: pranxis
I was so hyped for this that I couldn't even keep count of how many times I've watched the trailer. I really enjoyed the first Venom movie and this one got me excited. Plus, the freakin' Carnage is here!
After watching the movie, I was kinda disappointed why this film is not R-Rated. I would've enjoyed the action scenes better. It was still good but, without the violence that those scenes need, it feels dull. Carnage was supposed to be VIOLENT! Compared to the first movie, this one had less enjoyability of action scenes.
The plot on this one was messy. Or rather poorly written. The whole movie was just all about Venom and Eddie being a hindrance to Cletus and Frances' relationship. Nothing more than that.
The only good thing about this movie is we get to see Venom and Eddie's chemistry reach a point where they're finally closer than ever. They're really funny in this.
But hey! At least it's now confirmed Venom is gonna meet Spiderman one day. So that means... he's now part of the MCU right?
I'm going to rate "Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage" a 3/5 👍
Sony needs to stop making Marvel movies at this point if they don't make things right.
Movie Info:
Rating: PG-13
Genre: Action, Fantasy, Adventure, Sci-Fi, Comedy
Directed by: Andy Serkis
Release Date: October 1, 2021
Watch the trailer here!

Gone like the wind
And the state it put him in
To hold his head high
When he really wanna die
And you know the difference it makes
And you know all that it takes
Is love, so he won't break
He won't break
He's crazy from the pain
And cannot get hurt again
And if he ever falls
I'd feel sorry for us all
And you know the difference it makes
And you know all that it takes
Is love, so he won't break
He won't break...

The Mitchells vs the machines
One of the most enjoyable animated movies that I've seen this year so far!
Tumblr media
Perfect to be seen with the family, making one or two tears come out while you try not to cry too much, you can feel all the love put into this movie, feeling identified at all times and laugh happier with the characters because... who doesn't have a weird family?

One way I typically check if it’s a movie good before watching is making sure that James Corden isn’t part of the cast.
The man had played in The Emoji Movie, Peter Rabbit, Ocean’s 8 and Cats.
I’m not saying he’s the one who dooms the movies, but he doesn’t really have a good promising track record.

Venom
Tumblr media
When I first saw the trailer, my immediate reaction was to say that this movie would have been better received 10 years ago because we’ve had so many game-changers since then that there’s no way this was going to be that well received... and I was right. I‘ll start with the actors. I’ve followed Riz Ahmed’s career since I saw him in HBO’s “The Night Of”, and I know of the subtleties and good acting he’s capable of doing, so I was annoyed at the transparency of his one-note villain and the stupid lines they fed him. He could have done so much better if given superior material. I tolerated Michelle Williams and Jenny Slate, even though I’m not a huge fan of either one. The movie has plenty of funny moments that I’m not too sure were intended to be funny, but the whole theater I was in found them funny. It’s often gross, campy, and the tone and genre are in a constant back and forth, as if the movie, like the parasite, was still trying to figure out what it wanted to be, and which skin it felt more comfortable in, but it got better as it progressed. The relationship between Venom and Eddie was my personal favorite. I saw so much potential in that odd bond that I hope it takes a central role in the sequel - where I’m also hoping they will learn from their mistakes.  Never-mind that the man hasn’t taken on a bad role in his life, but I tried to ask myself if Tom Hardy hadn’t been the lead actor, would I still have enjoyed it the same? And the answer, oddly enough, was yes. And even though I’m aware of all its faults, I was never bored or impatient while watching it. Somehow, I don’t know how exactly, but this mess of a movie works. And you know what? I really liked it. TLDR; Venom’s so bad it’s good. 8/10 ⭐️

“I know! I know! I screwed up bad!”, Spider-Man cried, grinding a fist to the side of his right brow, “ but I was worried about you, man!” He wrenched his eyes back up to Venom, who’s tendrils were lashing erratically around it’s host. Eddie wasn’t completely engulfed in the symbiote, parts of his limbs and fragments of his clothes were visible. His arms hung limply at his sides but he was standing upright. That was a good sign, right? “I’ve never seen anything like this!”, Spider-Man continued, gesturing both hands toward Eddie and the quickly moving masses of symbiote around him, “You have to admit that your alien looks menacing! And it’s inside your body! I thought it was manipulating you!” Venom formed completely around Eddie and made a few staggered steps toward Spider-Man, not making a coherent phrase, just garbled hisses and growls. Spider-Man braced himself, bringing both hands up to defend himself, “I didn’t mean to hurt you, Eddie! I only wanted to help!” Venom wobbled to a stop, swaying on its feet, tendrils still lashing around its body. Venom gave a small lurch and fell forward landing face-first into the floor. Soon after, the black tendrils sank into the still body of an unconscious Eddie Brock. Spider-Man didn’t move for a few moments, only watching uneasily in the sudden silence he found himself in. Eddie wasn’t moving, he couldn’t see the symbiote, and it could be his imagination, but Eddie appeared to not be breathing. He slowly lifted a hand toward one of the fallen journalist’s shoulders and meekly called, “Eddie?” The sudden appearance of a large black jaw full of sharp teeth gave a quick snap, and Spider-Man yanked his hand back with a shriek. The symbiote was swimming frantically along Eddie’s unmoving body, occasionally shooting out small tendrils to try and get Eddie’s limbs to move. “I’m sorry!”, Spider-Man cried again, but was immediately answered with a garbled, “...help...”
A type of Spider-Man & Venom meet up I was thinking about. In which Spider-Man and Venom team up to assist a scientist by the name of Reed Richards recover stolen alien samples from the previous Avengers Movies conflicts. While attempting to work together, Richards convinces Spider-Man that the symbiote poses a threat to both the planet and its host, Eddie Brock. Spider-Man assists Richards in capturing Venom and then proceeds to remove the symbiote from Brock. The bond between the Venom symbiote is so strong to Brock that Richards decides to use deadly force, and break their bond at the cellular level and nearly kills Brock. Spider-Man, seeing Richards as the true threat he is, sabotages the process and helps Venom escape, leading to the scene above.
