-You probably end up saying it for the first time after getting back from an amazing date with him. When you say it, please know it was planned. For a while now since you two began dating, you waited patiently for him to say it first. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to, but in all honesty he was a bit of a gentleman and a little shy. He felt as though he wasn’t far along enough with you, or that he wasn’t embedded in your life enough. You gathered all of these conclusions from his mannerisms. So you planned for about a week to just let it slip one of these days and you did. When you did so, his mouth popped open. He was quick to hide his blush with his most nearby mask. Once covered he gathered the confidence to mirror your words and lay them on with a hug as well.

~Setsuno~

-The first time you say it, you’re laying your head on his chest in your shared bedroom of your (you guessed it) shared apartment. You’re not really sure what compelled you to say it suddenly like this, but it just sorta happened. It might have been how cuddled up you two were with each other all day. You’ve both burned through two movies and a couple snacks as well. The whole atmosphere was sappy as hell, but it was comfortable nonetheless. And when you graced his ears with those words for the first time just now he immediately paused the movie and looked down at you to make sure you weren’t sleep talking. You smiled warmly at him and he let a tear or two slip before pulling you into a tight hug and littering your face with kisses. “I love you a thousand times, two thousand, three thousand! I love you Y/N, I love you I love you!”

~Tabe~

-You weren’t scared to test the water with him given the fact that he lets you know how much you mean to him and how he accepts you 100% no matter what. I’d like to think a love with him is unconditional meaning no matter what pace you take it, no matter what you look like or dress like or even sound like, no matter your quirks and oddities, no matter what he loves you! That’s why when you finally said “I love you” over dinner that night, he smiled at you and received you so warmly. There wasn’t a hint of fear or hesitation in your tone because you knew he would welcome it the way he did. He was a man of few words and preferred to let his actions speak more than his words did. However, when he did speak you knew he was serious about it. That’s why you felt just as special as he did when he started repeating it.

~Toga~

-Being best friends with her was a lifetime deal. Meaning she would always be there whether you wanted her to or not. Little spats and differences couldn’t be enough to break her loyalty in the least bit. If you ever got married down the line, she would be there as a bridesmaid/groomswoman/or whatever. If you ever decided to have kids, she’s take on the role as an aunt almost immediately. If you ever decided to start a business, she would support you. No matter what, she was there. She cared a great deal about you and friendship was a serious thing for her. That entails her texting you to ask if you make it home safe after hanging out, or her splitting her money with you so you guys can go eat burgers or something together. Most importantly, she always ended a phone call with “I love you.” This was something of course you notice a lot of friends doing with each other. You weren’t one to do it too often (for the sake of this ask). After a while of thinking on it, you finally said it back one night and she would NOT shut up about it. “I knew you cared about me too! We’ll be best friends till we die, do you hear me!?” She hugged your tightly and you began to wonder if you should regret your decision soon lol

~Shigaraki~

-The first time you say it is in the middle of walking back to the base together after a quick convenience store run. He damn near dropped his slushy but played it off as if his almost faltered for other reasons. He didn’t say it back and that’s fine. You didn’t expect him to do so after all. This was just your way at hinting that the relationship was getting more serious in your eyes. After you went to sleep that night, he stayed up tossing and turning at the thought of what just happened earlier. He was at a blank for words. When to say it back? Where to say it back? Is it too late? Did he blow it? He thoughts wouldn’t really leave him alone all night until he finally passed out from sleep deprivation around 3 a.m. By the time he woke up you were already awake and eating breakfast at the table. He decided to join you and gently place a hand on your head, staring at your with softening gaze that you never really got from him before. It would take him at least a week and a half before he’d say it back, but for now his actions and expressions should do just fine.

~Dabi~

-You gotta be out of your mind if you think he was saying it first. I mean even if he did, it’d have to be somewhere serious like if you were dying in his arms or something. Besides that, he aint folding and saying it first no matter how sappy you make him feel. I’m pretty sure the first you say it is after sex during the cuddling phase (and for the readers not taking part in such then you say it during cuddling on the couch instead). He probably looks down and smirks at you before saying something smartass like “I know” or “Thanks” or even “Who wouldn’t?” He doesn’t start replying it back to you until you’re far enough along to where he feels he can trust you won’t just disappear from his life. That being said, he still feels his heart twist all up when you say it for the first time. You make him so soft sometimes

~Spinner~

-You like the way he smiles when you do just about anything. It’s so obvious that he’s in love with you that even a blind man could see how you felt about each other. Spinner would rather cut off both his legs and dye his hair orange before ever hurting your feelings ever. To be honest, he planned on saying it you first but you just beat him to the punch of things. He literally gasped when you said it to him. He searched your eyes for any hint of dishonesty but as usual he couldn’t find a lick of it. It was all you, and it was all the truth. You loved him and by God he loved you as well. From that day on he makes it his mission to say it to you every single day to make up for the fact that he didn’t say it first, and also to make sure you never go a day wondering how he felt about you.

-To Tabe/around Tabe you are the sweetest person ever. You often bake cookies or pies to gift to the other members whenever you bring him his lunch. Sometimes after a particularly hard day you’ll find yourself running him a warm bath and offering to massage his shoulders. You even take time on your off days to feed the stray cats in the alleyway behind your apartment. 

-That’s why whenever he finally found out about your sadistic side, Tabe had thought you were possessed or something! By now a few of the other members that had to share the battlefield with you were unsurprised of course. It was only Tabe that was left wondering what had happened to the sweet girl/boy/person that was feeding ducks in the park yesterday. 

-Watching you work was like watching a demon being released after a 2000 year slumber. Tabe could see the bloodlust in your manic eyes. The way you seemed to revel in the screams of your enemies. The smile that you had after snapping an opponents ribcage out of place was the same smile you had whenever dinner was delivered 30 minutes early by the pizza guy. It was insane to see.

-It was to the point now where the others were able to sit back and relax knowing you’d take care of the rest of their enemies on your own. Overhaul needn’t have to worry about another gang war on their turf. You’d make sure of that. You saved one poor soul from your wrath as a messenger to carry the word of the Hassaikai to the rival gang. Then you got up, dusted yourself off, and smiled at Tabe apologetically. 

-”Whoops, my bad.” That’s all you uttered before heading back to the base with him and the others. Deep down inside when the two of you clocked out to go home, you secretly worried that he’d seen too much of your rough side today. You worried he’d end up wanting to leave but he didn’t. Tabe agreed to love you no matter what. That was unconditional and guaranteed love that he had for you...just make sure you don’t bring your sadism home and you’ll be fine lol

-On harming his acquaintances, I feel like he would be a bit conflicted. He’s not an idiot of course, so he knows it’s a wrong thing to do. He cares about you and loves you but this is different from if you were to hurt a stranger. You’ve hurt someone he knows and cares about as well. He’s a little stuck in the middle of trying to distance himself from you and trying to stick around in the hopes of showing you not to do that again. As far as he knows, he doesn’t figure that he’s ever done anything to make you feel unloved by him. That’s why the whole situation is a bit confusing to him. Little did he know, it’s not always about what he think it is. Sometimes it’s something as simple as spending too much time with his coworkers that could set you off...and it did.

-On harming himself, he’s be pretty sad and confused. Like really sad and confused (and a little scared to boot). If you love him, why would you hurt him like this? He hides away in the bathroom for a while as he tends to his wounds. Maybe it was an accident? He wracks his brain for answers but he can’t find one. You probably did it because you loved him just a little too much. This can cause your relationship to detour down a path where it becomes a REAL yandere style situation. The type of situation where you kidnap him and lock him away because honestly he would leave you after this. But let’s say on the off chance that he gives you another opportunity and doesn’t leave you after hurting him. Well then he’s going to have himself on guard a lot more often these days, and may find himself unconsciously flinching when you get too close to him. 

~Moonfish~

- On harming his acquaintances, I don’t think he’d care too much. It’s not like he’s friends with his league members. He mainly tags around on the promise Tomura made to him that he’s able to get what he wants in return: flesh. That’s the only reason he hadn’t turned on the League himself and eaten/potentially harmed them. Well...that and the fact that he’d be outnumbered. So sure, hurt or kill anyone around him that you want. He’s only truly developed a type of attraction to you, so you’re all he really cares enough about.

-On harming himself, I don’t think it would bother him too much. He might even end up treating it like some sort of game in the long run and hurting you back. No matter what you do to him, he’s going to try to return it and this can result in a lot of bloodshed depending on how far you’d be willing to take things. Would he try to kill you? No, even if you try to kill him. Would he seriously injure you? Oh yeah, most definitely (and it might be on accident). Either way, he can withstand most of what you throw at him. I guess that would make you guys a good couple for the most part

~Hojo~

-To be honest, it wouldn’t really matter to him if you were an ex hero or if you were still a hero even now. Hojo loves you because he loves you. I’d say if he really had to speak on the matter, he would probably be a little more relived that you were just a regular civilian nowadays. He says it’s because he doesn’t have to worry about you as much. Now he can focus more on your safety concerning the fact that he’s a member of the yakuza rather than worrying about you dying on the job as a pro hero or something. Hojo has always been protective of you so that’s really no secret tbh. Anyway, he’s pretty chill on the matter. He honestly harbored no super ill thoughts for heroes to begin with. The reason why he joined the Hassaikai was the fact that Overhaul saw him dying on a dock somewhere after a bad crystal deal and he saved him. Not once did Hojo mention he had disdain for heroes (if I can remember correctly) so he’s not gonna pester you even if you were still a hero. Hojo is 10/10 husband material baby!

~Setsuno~

-Oh my God it’s gonna be a tough one with him. He’s the least chill out of the trio about this kind of thing. He already really doesn’t vibe with the heroes and it’s been pretty obvious from the moment you guys officially began dating. “But Toya, they tried to save you because your life was worth living!” You try to talk some sense into him for it but it just turned into a tiny argument for you guys (no worries, he apologized for it later). Eventually he comes to the fact that if heroes hadn’t saved him that day then he wouldn’t have a job at the Hassaikai and most importantly he wouldn’t have gotten to meet you. From that point he ends up complaining about heroes just a little less around you so he doesn’t offend you or anything. With you being a former hero, it comes with its own challenges. Just because you’re out of the game doesn’t mean you’re out of the spotlight just yet. You still get a lot of interviews, commercial work, and even a few offers for some movies! You’re still within the spotlight and it’s honestly going to take Toya some work to get used to it. He has to stay out of the way to help keep the Hassaikai in the shadows and honestly he gets a bit jealous of all the attention you get. As long as you keep him reassured that he’s all yours then I think he can maybe get used to it until it dies down.

~Tabe~

-As if it concerns him. If anything, he’s more worried about how you feel about dating a criminal. He can get a little insecure thinking about you and about how you can do better. An ex hero dating a yakuza thug? Tabe always feels as though he doesn’t deserve you. You’ll have to be sooooo patient with him and constantly remind him of how much you care about him and the fact that it doesn’t matter what his occupation is. You tell him you gave up being a hero for a reason and it was mostly because of how open minded you were compared to most other heroes. You actually even agreed with Stain’s ideology and didn’t want to continue contributing to a society like this. Anyway, you keep telling him how you feel about him and maybe soon he begins to believe you. It’s still going to take a lot of time but hey, he  will never ever be caught judging you for any single part of your past as a hero and you always feel secure in knowing his love for you is genuine (despite his insecurities).

-(So let’s base this before he joins the Hassaikai) I think in all his time on Earth, he really hasn’t ever gotten a chance to interact with anyone that has a cat-like quirk. So when he finally ends up meeting you he’s kinda just like ‘hmmmm? that’s interesting!’ Tabe would probably do a lot to come see you too. He’d honestly do a lot to interact with you also because of where you work. Your cafe has been getting a lot more attention since you got employed there last month. With a cat quirk and being surrounded by real cats as well, you brought a lot of new customers into the place. One of which ended up being Tabe himself.

-He mostly came for the menu since he’s been hearing a lot of good reviews lately, but when he walked in and saw you he just had to stay. I guess his curios appearance and nervous demeanor must’ve attracted you to him as well. You chatted a bit more with him that day rather than any of the other customers. Besides, he was more refreshing than your usual customer that would come in just to exploit your quirk and flirt with you. From that point on he became your favorite customer. 

-Because he was such a frequent customer you were able to talk your managers into giving him a special discount every first Friday of the month. But from that point on your relationship with him changed. He started becoming more of a friend rather than a customer. He would change the times that he would show up so he could specifically eat with you on your lunch breaks and chat. Then he would even come late sometimes just to make sure you had a safe walk to your car even if the parking lot was just across the street. Once you exchanged numbers you only ended up hitting it off more. Your favorite thing about him was that he didn’t base his kindness and interest in you solely on your quirk but on your personality instead. 

-One day you go from casual texting, to opening up, to sending each other blurry selfies. Then it goes to you both chatting over the phone late at night and falling asleep to each others voices. His favorite thing to hear is your purr over the phone when you drift off to sleep first. Finally Tabe gathers the confidence he needs to ask you on an official date and of course you don’t hesitate to accept his offer! It really only took about 3 dates before you started to feel like you had known him your whole life. Along with this, he was the first person you’ve opened up with so quickly. He seemed to make you feel so comfortable around him that you had no troubles getting closer and closer. Tabe was always open with you too. Even when he joined the Hassaikai not long before your 6th or 7th date together, he immediately told you. Granted you were worried about him, you were pleased he didn’t dare try to hide it. Around the 10th or 11th date, you guys made the move to live with each other!

-Once moving into an apartment with each other, Tabe was able to witness your quirk in full swing. Whether it was you perching up on the kitchen table to eat breakfast, or the way you licked the back of your hands to rub them on your ears, Tabe was even more in love than the first time he saw your smile. The perks were that you were super adorable! The cons were well...Sometimes instead of sleeping you would dart around the apartment in a sudden excited flurry at 2 a.m while he was trying to sleep. Other times when he would cuddle with you in bed and wiggle his feet under the blanket, your pupils would enlarge and you’d literally bite the hell out of him. Oh and the claws...the SCRATCHING!!!! Despite this, he still loved you so very much. (Especially the way your tail wrapped around him when you cuddled on the couch to watch a movie together). 

-Tabe has the intense need to see you on catnip but that’s a headcanon or another time lol

-Overhaul: Has a huge tie collection but only wears like 2 or 3 of them max. He wants to keep them preserved and safe (fresh from the real world). He also collects other things like face masks but keeps them in his bedroom drawer just to look at. He can drive, but is shitty at parking. Kai also listens to music when he works but it's usually the same 10 songs.

-Mimic: Is a God at bowling and Card games. He's competing with Hojo constantly. Mimic can count cards and was kicked out of multiple casinos for doing so. Once said that if he were to become a dad, he would prefer to have a daughter instead of a son.

-Chronostasis: Takes tremendous care in his appearance. He's hot and he KNOWS he's hot. Owns one white hoodie that he wears way too much. Uses a single cologne scent since he was younger. It's now his signature smell

-Deidoro: When he's sober, he's actually a pretty chill guy. He's pretty good at fishing and enjoys a good bonfire every once in a while. Knows over 1400 country songs.

-Nemouto: Picked up neatfreak tendencies from Kai, and now it affects his everyday life. He cannot sleep (nor nap) until his entire apartment is spotless from top to bottom. No clean? No sleep. He also has a few fish in a fish tank that he named.

-Setsuno: Has big insecurity issues he never speaks on. He actually thinks his forehead is too big, so he tries to cover most of it on one side with his hair. It stems from a backhanded comment his ex gave him one time. Also, he's skinny because his metabolism is fast af. He can eat more than anyone in the Hassaikai (except Tabe), and not gain a pound.

-Hojo: Really loves kids more than he let's on. (We're not talking my Kaishi Au so...) He hates what the boss is doing to Eri, but has to carry through because Kai basically saved him. Has a crush on the cashier at the shop near the base. Literally makes up reason to go an see the cashier. He's thought about becoming a teacher before he turned to crime

-Tabe: Secret pleasure is watching those Mukbang videos on youtube, or the eating ASMR. He eats a lot, but has a sensitive tummy when it comes to certain foods like mint chocolate chip. It makes him get the bubble guts every time. He also has one stuffed animal he keeps that his mother gave to him when he was younger. He often misses being with family

-Rappa: Has multiple gym memberships but never shows up. He claims the instructors are too weak/slow for him. He still uses the memberships to go use the massage chair every once in a while. He's also a hopeless romantic despite his brutish ways. He wants to experience that one true love...a love worth fighting to keep forever

-Tengai: Dyed his hair in middle school once. Was also a member of the debate team and the volleyball team. He left debate for obvious reasons! He was actual very active in school. Then he left to take up being a monk before Overhaul showed up.

-Katsukame: Sports buff. Knows way too many random facts about random sports teams. I mean soccer. Football, hockey, lacrosse, you name it! He knows it. He probably thinks about having those little super bowl parties with the others every once in a while but decides against it last minute. Also, had a kitten once but it got hit by a car. Ever since then, he has never wanted another pet

-Pops: Used to be pretty wild back in the day! Reckless, sassy, and damn sure handsome. He actually straightened out once he joined the yakuza. He still looks back on those days and says he doesn't regret a single thing...not even the time he helped set the old record shop on fire...or the time he spray painted the side of the school.

(Y’know I could take the path of him being the yandere but I’m guilty of treating him like a baby when I think about him sometimes. I know he’s a grown man and capable of making his own decisions, but his dumb scarecrow sack mask always makes me go “Awww baby, he don’t know no better UwU”. Therefore, I shall make the S/O yandere and anyone that wants a yandere Tabe instead can request it later <3

-To be honest with you, I don’t think he notices how dangerous this can be for him. The reason is because it doesn’t affect him as much as it would most other people. Why would he need to be worried about someone that’s dedicating all their time to loving him? I mean you cook him amazing meals (or order in depending on reader). You love him dearly and he never has to worry about you straying from his side. You’re always there and he doesn’t really feel like being clingy is too much of an issue as much as he loves you and all. To him, you’re perfect!

-The issues lies with the people around you for the most part. At one point you felt as though Setsuno and Hojo were trying to come between you and Tabe so you became very much dangerous with them. You’d stalk Setsuno, hack Hojo’s phone to see if there were any sketchy messages there between him and Tabe. You’d leave threating messages to the both of them and even thought about cutting the brake lines in their car at some point. Then it only became worse when you branched out. You figured ‘no it’s not those two that are coming between us...it’s Overhaul...’ You figured it must be the boss because he was the one that scheduled Tabe for so many shifts the past 2 weeks. You could barely spend time with your beloved when he was working so much. You talked to yourself, discussing how it wasn’t fair that Overhaul was trying so hard to come in between you two. Meanwhile Kai simply scheduled Tabe so much to take over for Nemoto’s sick leave. You were fully ready to go toe to toe with the big man until you saw Tabe’s schedule was back to normal upon Nemoto’s return.

-Although you can trust Tabe, you sometimes find yourself insecure and worry about whether or not he’s trying to get away from you. While he minds his own business, you skulk around each and every corner and keep an eye on him all day to make sure he’s not doing anything to violate the terms of your relationship. You always come up empty handed at the end of the day because he never chooses to cheat on you or hurt you. However, you’ve gotten blood on your hands a few times before. This is solely due to you ‘taking care’ of some free sample people that put too big of a smile on his face before.

-You keep little things of Tabe’s to remind you of him even though the two of you live together. It’s become like a type of shrine which can come off as weird to some other people but adoring to him. He literally has no problem with any of this as long as he knows you love him. With the way he is with everything you begin to think maybe you aren’t so crazy after all (which is a lie, get some help) lol

~Yakuza best/worst huggers~

1.) Tabe: He's the best hugger at the Hassaikai! He's a good boi with a misunderstood quirk. He's genuinely a great and adorable hugger when it comes to the members. His hugs last as long as you hold so you'll have to pull away first.

2.) Pops: Grandpa hugs...need I say more?

3.) Chronostasis: He's got these playful/protective big brother hugs once you get close to him. Always warm and smells like pine trees and sometimes cologne. Sometimes when he pulls away (if you're not taller than him) he'll ruffle your hair. If no hair, then he'll flick your forehead playfully.

4.) Tengai: He wont hug you too long, but his hugs are so comforting after a bad day. He offers advice after each hug so he always feels like a loving father

5.) Hojo: Speaking of fathers, he's got dad energy too. He only hugs with one arm but its a firm and loving type of hug. Something about his one arm hug makes you feel like everything will be okay.

6.) Rappa: Our boy is 6 on the list because his hugs rule, but can sometimes be too much! Rappa gives tight hugs! He will lift you off your feet and swing you around like a ragdoll. Sometimes he launches you into a sudden playful wrestling match (headlock and all).

7.) Nemouto: He's 7 on the list not because his hug is bad but because of how he acts when it comes to hugs. He will NOT hug you first...ever. You always have to initiate. His hugs are somewhat long/somewhat short at the same time. For the period of time he hugs you in, it's always really kind.

8.) Setsuno: He will pull away way too quick! He's not risking falling for you because he doesn't want to get attached. Therefore, your hugs (if you get any) are always short and sweet. Sometimes he barely wraps his arms around you before he just pulls away.

9.) Mimic: Hugs with Irinaka are ALWAYS the best but they come at a risk and that's why he's so low on the list. This man will fight for his life to not hug you. He's usually in his stuffie form so hugs are already waaay too annoying to him. "Damn it y/n, put me down right now!!!"

10.) Katsukame: If you can hug him, then he'll let you. Gets way too handy sometimes (if he has a crush on you). Otherwise, way too strong and doesnt know his own strength

11.) Deidoro: His hugs and a bit clumsy but still kinda cute. The issue is that he always makes your shoulder and upper back wet after you pull away. You can never tell of its vomit, slobber, or alcohol. Either way...its gross

12.) Overhaul: He'd be high up on the list when it comes to comfort, but he's very last because you get no hugs from him unless you've been kicking for a looooong time when it comes to relationships. Otherwise, you gets no love from him. You belong to the streets😤

-From the very moment you agreed to join the Hassaikai, and the moment you were brought into a room to introduce the main Precepts, you had immediately focused your sights on Tabe. There was just something about him that drove you wild. Perhaps it was the mystery of the burlap mask on his head, or maybe it was the silence you were greeted with when you personally introduced yourself to him. Could it be that he was too shy to speak to you? Well nonetheless, one of his teammates got in the way of you before he had time to speak. That damned Setsuno. “C’mon Tabe, we’ve got important business to attend to. I suggest you look for your own team that was assigned to you girl/boy/person. Then he shuffled Tabe out of the room and Hojo followed behind.

-You glared as you went to join up with the team Overhaul had placed you on: team Nemoto and Deidoro. You hated the pair. Personally it was nothing against them. You were just annoyed because they stood in the way of you and Tabe. You worked so well together that Overhaul put you with them, no questions asked. A bigger issue was that damned Setsuno. Every time you attempted to communicate with Tabe, Setsuno was there to put a stake in your plans. Often times he would do so with a cold glare towards you. 

-Eventually you got sick of this so you ended up purposefully bombing every team mission that the boss put you on until he called you to his office himself. Once inside, you gave a sad sob story about being such a fuck-up and about how you felt you’d work better on a team like Hojo, Tabe, and Setsuno’s. Overhaul took a moment to think on it before nodding and letting you go. Now you’d have a reason to see Tabe face to face instead of sneaking around the lower base and watching him everywhere he went. You figured the way to his heart was food so you baked him up at least 7 different kinds of pastries and placed them in a basket in an attempt to deliver them in the dead of night. 

-There was just one thing left to do now...

-You abandoned the basket at his door with a note and found your way to Setsuno’s room. As he was prepping to leave the base for the night and stay at his actual apartment, he felt a disturbance and turned to see you standing in his room. “What the Hell? How in the absolute fuck did you get into my room???” You simply smirked at his question and moved to show the knife you were hiding behind your back. Setsuno groaned in annoyance and slowly reached for his sword. Your fight lasted for at least 4 minutes before you each had stolen your blade using his quirk and had it at your throat. “You crazy ass bitch/son of a bitch. What the Hell is your issue?!” He glared at you and waited for an answer.

-You spat back in his face and growled a bit. Setsuno continued glaring until a look of realization came across his face and he got up, removing the blade from your throat and tossing it aside on the ground. He “crossed is arms with a bored look and sighed. “You’re obsessed with him, huh.” You stood up and dusted yourself off. “I’m in love with him and so are you, eh?”

-”WHAT THE FUCK, HELL NO I’M NOT! I’m not interested in Tabe you crazy asshole. I’m his teammate and I was looking out for him. I thought you were out on some weird revenge mission by the way you kept targeting him. It was also the fact boss hired you so suddenly when we thought there were enough of us to work with already. I literally don’t give a shit if you like him. Besides, he’s talked about you a bit since you joined. I’d have to say that your feelings are returned.” You smiled softly at that and Setsuno smiled as well before returning to his annoyed look.

-”Now get the hell out of my room so I can leave for the night”

Hojo and Toya watched you like a hawk while you kissed Tabe goodbye for the day. Usually you left for a while and came later that night to pick him up. Other times he took the car and you stayed away. To most people it would've seemed normal but to Hojo and Toya, they seemed to feel something going on behind the scenes. To be specific: Setsuno dragged Hojo into paranoia as well. Both the men had a bond with Tabe. The three considered themselves to be trash, but useful trash for the Hassaikai. They were friends, and they cared for each other to a degree. This all began when Setsuno noticed an odd pattern about the way you did things lately. The past week consisted of you having a certain sneaky aura to yourself, a thick feeling of mystery that seemed to linger in the air whenever you were near. Therefore, Toya confronted Hojo about the issue yesterday.

"Man just listen. Trust me, I know. When a woman/man/person is being dishonest or hiding something then you can tell by the way they carry themselves." Toya ranted while Hojo took a sip of his drink. He rolled his eyes at the boy before him. "Calm down, would ya? Y/N and Tabe have a good relationship. You're just projecting your own insecurities onto them." Setsuno groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose. "No I am not. Just look at the way Y/N has been lately. Hasn't she/he/they been breaking the usual order of how things are done between the two? They've even been coming back late and leaving behind receipts in the trashcan to pricey places." Setsuno continued to explain. Hojo scratched his chin and thought about it. Finally he spoke up after a bit of silence. "Yeah, you know what? I think I've been noticing that lately. What do you propose we do? We cant just tell Tabe we suspect Y/N of cheating or something because we could screw up the friendship like that." Hojo asked Toya.

"We'll do a little surveillance first. After getting the proof we need, we'll call Tabe and have him bust up the whole operation. Look, tomorrow Y/N is leaving again. We'll follow then." Setsuno explained clearly. Hojo nodded and prepared for the following day. So while the day came, and you gave Tabe a farewell kiss before leaving, Toya and Hojo snuck out the side entrance of the compound and got in a car to follow you. The entire day you were in and out of multiple stores including: a pary store, a grocery store, two clothing stores, and a store the two of them have never been inside of and therefore don't know what's in it. Finally the real surveillance began when you went into an apartment building they hadn't recognized. The stake out had proven to be near useless until the light came on in one of the apartments above. The men watched from below as you paced about the living room, hanging multiple things. Finally they settled on a possible conspiracy and called Tabe to tell him the address. In less than a hour he arrived and parked next to the men. "Y/N's up there. Let's all go together." Setsuno led the group, determined to catch you slipping. Hojo followed close behind, then Tabe at the far back.

Meanwhile you were almost hanging decor and cooking dinner when you heard a knock at the door. You were a bit worried considering you hadn't expected anyone. Still, you opened the door anyway. You gasped when you saw the 3 men, and Setsunk smirked in confidence. "CAUGHT YOU, CHEATER!" He shouted and you tilted your head in confusion. Tabe spoke up sadly. He uttered a soft 'why' as his eyes watered a bit. "Wait a minute...why is it so empty in here." Hojo asked in confusion. You sighed and shook your head. "I have no idea how you 3 found me or why youre here. This is the new apartment me and Tabe got approved for. I wanted to fix it up as a surprise and make dinner before telling him the good news. I have no idea what this cheater talk is about. Wait...did you 3 follow me???" You glared at the men as they nervously scratched the back of their necks.
