a work friend tells me things about the sorority he just joined and it legit sounds like a cult i dont get the point at all. you have to pay hundreds of dollars (maybe thousands, depending) monthly and then with the weird initiation stuff and secrecy and whatnot it sounds like way too much work to essentially just join a group of friends

I got slightly drunk today (ugh I know 🙄 But I’m actually doing good overall!!) and I found out one of my high school friends got engaged and..idk. It just made me start crying super hard and I’m still sobbing 15 minutes later. Idk why…maybe it’s the fact that we grew up so fast…maybe it’s the fact that I haven’t kept up with this friend since high school and am realizing she’s lived a life of her own….but most likely it’s because I’m drunk and once I started tearing up even a little bit it make me start bawling. Either way…I’m still sobbing.

And I’m genuinely very happy for her! I need to text her a congrats. We really haven’t spoken in so long….

I really don’t understand why after finding out that they were sisters, the girls still had this unspoken agreement that they’d just go back to their regular lives and pretend like nothing happened? Once again, it’s clear that college MC wants some sort of relationship with the man she just found out is her father. And of course she and Princess MC are so in love with the idea of being sisters.
