but this, too, is humanity undressed: relentlessly compassionate even in the face of personal risk. it is jessup protecting lucy gray from the bats. lucy gray sharing food with jessup and even coryo. coryo covering arachne's body with his own. lucy gray searching out jessup and dragging him to safety instead of running away. lamina mercy-killing marcus. sejanus sneaking into the arena to do rites for marcus. lyssie sending in the water to save lucy gray and mercy-kill her own tribute. lucy gray sitting out in the open with jessup, even after he tried to kill her, comforting him and closing his eyes. reaper going out in the open to collect the tributes' bodies and tearing down the flag to cover them. coryo ripping his stitches to cheat for (save) lucy gray, even after highbottom's told him he'll never get the prize, even though the snakes were meant to leave no survivors and no victor (and lucy gray'd already won the popularity contest). the audience defying the capitol and gaul, chanting "get her out".

The relationship between Eliza and Hamilton was never perfect and we all know it. But- The fact that Hamilton didn't said anything about "his love for Eliza" (At least not in the moments when he gets to be a narrator and we can hear his thoughts) is a bit sad...? Of course he respects her and think of her as a "Best of wives and best of womem", but he never said that he loves her. The only thing he thinks about is war - at first, and building their nation - later. Hamilton probably never loved his wive, and he even cheated on her permanently. Eliza dedicated her whole life for him, but he? He was a fucking bastard (I still love him) and lied to her many many times. He married Eliza mostly because her parents were rich. So yeah, not the best marriage, and poor Eliza.

And there's Burr and Theodosia. Burr who waited for her and married her because he loved her, and their child later. Theodosia who risked her reputation (and probably life...?) only to- meet with her lover. Their love wasn't easy, but they got what they wanted and got married. The way Burr was sad and scared for his daughter's life after his wife died... It was heartbreaking. Their marriage was made from true love, not from a buisness or a one-sided love and that's beautiful.

God it's so sad that lestat the musical suck because vampire chronicals would work SO well as a musical. The melodrama, dances and songs to show the bonds between the characters, it doesn't matter if the actors look like the characters or not, you can actually do Claudia and Armand, which visual mediums generally can't, the costumes can be gorgeously tacky but change in subtle ways so show the passage of time (like everyone keeps the same base costume but changes hats and coats), you can give lestat and Nicky a big golden moment number, the theater de vampire's would be CRAZY, you can have lestat play the piano (maybe that's a way to do the narrating), it's longer so you can include more than a movie, Louis could be a great narrator too, you can have in-between scenes of back and forth between him and Daniel, louis can have a melancholy walking in the rain but isnt new orleans so beautiful song, and you can give lestat and Louis a dance number, Maybe with singing, maybe not, that shows their relationship through the years, the two of them pulling eachother around the stage, sometimes switching hats and coats, lestat can swing his walking stick around, Claudia can come in to join them half way through, they should totally recreate that hand holding spin from the show that the three of them do cause it would be Adorable, the music and style of dance can change, they go between passionate, violent, playful, confrontational and everything in between beautifully capturing the complex violently domestic relationship between these two compelling, emotional characters. Too bad Lestat: The musical genuinely sucks.

I am frustrated and sad so Havet an old angsty oc I turned into a transman with stabel life...

Truly getting older makes you turn your previously queercoded cannibal, into a trans himbo who loves cooking and bodybuilding.

(Also his old desings had the scars on his hands too (not sh) But in this au I wanted to keep em, cuz I sometimes tend using bad coping mechanism when under high stress (Latin exams) And need a character who has scars from the past but a now happy life.

To be simpler...I am not trying to depict Selfh*rm as something good, it's shitty and because of romanticisation I started it myself. I just kept a previous part of his desing to depict a part of me. If it for some reason looks to positive of a depiction of a negative action, then pls comment and this post'll vanish in a few seconds.

If you ever considered selfharming, then pls find a therapist if possible or develope a healthier coping mech. It's a struggle, I now that but there are better ways to sooth emotional pain or stress)
