Ooo good idea! Here's a few fics I adore to pieces and have reread more than a few times:

we'll build a bridge (An incomplete collection of unconnected one shots)

Summary: The only constant is this: they find each other. The how might change, but the why doesn’t, and the why is what matters, here. (The why is this: one never stops searching, and one never stops hoping.)

(Made me cry multiple times. Happy endings and heartfelt reunions: it's got everything you need to feel good inside. My favorite chaoters are 3 and 8)

Ounce of Prevention (incomplete)

Summary: If one suspects strangers of causing the apocalypse, one generally should not allow them to continue to roam free. They should ideally be restrained until their innocence (or guilt) can be proven. Even if one of them is a child and openly sobbing at the thought of her only family hating her. Even if the other one's absence is probably going to be noticed by a very large, very dangerous Pokémon.

Elsewhere, the rift spits out a man in white. He's not her Warden, but Sneasler will take all the help she can get in finding him.

(ABSOLUTELY INSANELY GOOD like this is one of my favorite submas fics. Just thrilling and had be binge it in a frenzy. Awesome action scenes, cool plot, and badass Emmet, like seriously Emmet's characterization here is god tier and I think about it constantly. I actually drew a comic based on a scene from this fic here. )

In Tandem (Incomplete)

Summary: Or in which Arceus calls upon two pairs of twins to stop two doomsday plots simultaneously.

Ingo and Emmet are summoned to two different Jubilifes, to two different teenagers to aid them in their seemingly innocent journeys for reasons they do not fully understand. Dark machinations are at work though, and if everyone wants to get home safe at the end of the day it will take every ounce of strength, conviction and courage to brave the trials set before them.

(A verrrry good story: good plot (like you'll get invested), good action, good pacing, and good characterization! I haven't read many fics with Lucas and Dawn and this ones just amazing. I wait patiently for its updates)

The Hand (Complete)

Summary: It was something Ingo always wondered about.

(Unexpected premise but I really like it for some reason and have reread it multiple times)

Give Not Into Sorrow (Complete)

Summary: Something strange is going on in Hisui. There are reports of a man in white roaming the wildlands while leading a pack of Pokemon . Some say they're a mix of Pokemon, some claim they're a pack of zoroarks. Some swear that the man is none other than the amnesiac warden of the Pearl Clan. One thing is certain. Those who meet the man in white all report the same thing: He is looking for his brother. And he will not rest until he finds him.

(Absolutely beautiful and heart wrenching. Deal with grief, with anger and with holding on and letting go. Drew a comic for this just yesterday too)

Conductor of Stone (Completed)

Summary: Ingo was not alone when he woke up in the region of Hisui.

There was a man next to him who shared his face. With a body as cold as ice.

Who are you?

A Land of the Lustrous au! Cool concept and excellent writing that sucks you in. This is actually part of a series which is also very good. The author, PerpetuallySleepy, is a favorite of mine too and they have a bunch of other ones shot fics I recommend checking out!

Intermittent Retention (Complete)

Summary: In theory, the space-time distortions should not overly effect Ingo's daily routine. They certainly wouldn't, if he could remember what happens after he steps inside of them. Even that could be overlooked, reluctantly, if Ingo weren't overwhelmingly drawn to them despite their amnesia-inducing properties. Or if anyone else had this problem. Something happens to Ingo when time and space break down around him, something that leaves him with fierce joy and crippling grief he cannot find a source for, and he's going to figure out what in the world is going on.

(Sweet and sad and beautiful.)

Diamond Crossing (Complete)

Summary: So, here’s the thing. Elesa’s best friend is a little…weird.

She means it in the nicest way possible. But there’s no getting around the fact that Coop is weird.

Their mood swings are all over the place, very serious at one moment and unhinged child at the next. They sprouted train facts at the drop of the hat, insisted on not only being in charge of Gear Station but taking it a step further and turning Gear Station into the Battle Subway. They’re honestly crazy for that alone.

Elesa does her modeling career on top of being a Gym Leader and a lot of people think she’s crazy. She will argue that it’s nothing compared to Coop running the entire transportation system for Nimbasa City on top of being a Battle Facility.

She adores Coop though. She really means it when she says Coop is her best friend. And no matter how crazy Coop comes across as, she knows Coop won't hurt anyone.

("Well, there are exceptions, of course," Coop says, tone serious and expression set to a frown. "We don’t allow unruly passengers for starters." They then smiled, brightening. "And anyone who makes Elesa cry will be tied to the train track and run over." )

(A super interesting concept and I love fusion aus! It's actually part of a series that are loosely connected together. Fun times galore)

Emmet wasn't scared (Complete)

Summary:

i’ve been meaning to talk about this for a while but I was too scared of the reaction people might have, but you know what? fuck it

i really wish like 80% of the bullet train fandom wasn’t all about tangerine

like i absolutely get it and I understand (hell, he’s my second favourite character and I love him to bits!), but you know, there are SO MANY other characters and the whole plot is so fun and twisty that it makes me sad it’s being reduced to just that

i mean, one of the things i love most about bullet train is how all the different stories tie into each other and how at the end of the day all the characters have some kind of correlation to each other in some way, so to see all that be left unused is really :/

seriously this thing has so much fandom potential with how diverse and different the characters are and with the whole colourful funky aesthetic, i’m telling you guys!

I would do something about it and try to create something if I weren’t the least original person on this planet lmao

again, I in no way mean to attack or offend anyone who has been creating content about tangerine, you guys are doing a great job and you’re having fun, which is what really matters (and honestly, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t indulge in it from time to time), I just wish there was a bit more variety I guess :/

🚨RANNT ABOUT FAIRY TAIL HATE INCOMINGGGG🚨

Long rant. Like LONG long. Feel free to scroll on by but I seriously needed this off my chest so just be prepared if you decide to read it💀 also not trying to (and wont with all due respect) debate with anyone about the things I’ve mentioned below, this is just purely how I feel inside atm, plus it’s super sloppy and emotionally charged; I would’ve done a much better job at talking if it was a debate post, but it’s not lol. Debating stuff about FT can always happen another time on another day so hopefully this post isn’t misunderstood to be starting something, just a simple rant :) okaythanksforyourtimehaveagoodday

ARGH THESE FAIRY TAIL HATERS GET ON MY NERVES SOMETIMES FOR REAL! LIKE I GET PERSONAL PREFERENCES BUT THEY HATE OVER THE MOST STUPIDEST THINGS ABOUT IT!!

One thing I always see people complain about is how Fairy Tail hardly has any killings. First of all, wtf??? How have we become so desensitized that we want to see innocent characters to die? Like I get it contributes to good story telling by expressing the emotional process of it all, and I certainly know I’m not immune to a good and gripping character death when it’s done right, but come on do we really need to have people dying left and right ALL THE TIME?? If the story has to have so many deaths 24/7 to make it a good story, is it really a good story?

Second, there was in fact death in Fairy Tail; it’s just not enough death for people to mention apparently?? While the deaths are rare in FT, when they happen I think it hits harder, and it makes it much more personal because it’s not a normal occurrence. It affects you on a deeper level because you weren’t expecting it already, you know? It shows us that death shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Third, death is not gonna happen frequently for Fairy Tail. Why? BECAUSE THEY ARENT ACTIVELY FIGHTING CRIME!! THEY ARE NOT A GUILD ABOUT FIGHTING PEOPLE!!! They. are. not. superheros!! They are a magic guild that cares about family, their town and townspeople, and supporting one another. They always try keep the violence to themselves (aka roughhousing) and taking jobs that can have potential battles involved.

They don’t ask to be dragged into shit like guild wars, fighting literal dragons and crazies, and life threatening forces! They fight because they’re good people who want to protect the ones they love, innocents, and their planet. This is not a shonen about killing their enemies and bathing in their blood and victory, all they want is to have peace and fun with each other. There is more to the story than death. There are multiple tragic things that happen in the series that are just as heartbreaking as a death.

It’s a feel good series that doesn’t focus on the deep negatives, but how people overcome said negatives and use the power of the love for their found family to fight for what’s right. You say it’s a surface level series, but the truth is your not willing to look deeper under it because you can’t be bothered to see there is more to a series than many deaths, killings, etc.

there are so many shows and mangas like FT that don’t get a quarter of hate like FT does and I just think it’s incredibly stupid and unfair to target a show over petty reasons such as LACK OF DEATH?? It’s a wonderful show that is supposed to cheer you up and make you feel happy, why can’t we just have a series that’s exactly like that and still be considered a good story? And yes, Fairy Tail isn’t perfect; no series is. It has its flaws just like any other shonen.

My point is that FT is picked on way too much for reasons that other anime’s display as well, and that there’s a lot of hypocrisy in FT haters. I never understood why Fairy Tail was the scapegoat for all the hate when their favorite shows and mangas do the exact same thing! If Fairy Tail isn’t what you’re looking for, then move on without shitting on it.

The people of Fairy Tail are extremely important to me, as cheesy and cringe as that sounds. They raised me, taught me lessons that I still hold dear to my heart to this day. It has picked me up in times of need while still being able to evoke strong emotions from me. It just gets under my skin when so many people either pick it apart and don’t bother to dig deeper behind the meaning of it, or just sexualize the characters constantly without paying attention to the valuable lessons we could be learning from them instead.

I know it’s just a show/series at the end of the day, and I shouldn’t let it bother me this much; but I can’t help it, the characters are like family to me and have helped me process many emotions and gotten me through dark times. I just think if you’re gonna hate, you should do your research first and then come back with plausible reasons. I respect all opinions (as long as it doesn’t hurt others) and I never try to say that they’re wrong and I’m right blahblahblah because we all have our own preferences and that should be celebrated, as well as be able to have the right to express them; but let’s not over do it with hate outloud and in the open where people can be affected by the hurtful things you say.

ART SUMMARY STUFF AND RAMBLE

I HAVEN'T POSTED MY LAST THREE MONTHS ART YET but i wanted to show my summaries.. so take this (yeah i'm late with my art posting schedule don't mind it.. people who support me on Kofi can see all my art already tho!! (some more ramble + 2022 summary below)

I did an oc and fanart ver (i didn't have any actual illust for february for my fanart ver lol sorry.. i started drawing fanart regularly only since april/may of this year!)

I've never been so happy with an art year of mine.. for my oc ver, i don't like anymore the january and february art but outside of that i'm still proud of everything! And even if i'm still happy with my march/april ect art, i think i improved a lot since that, i learnt so much!! Especially with my coloring :)

And this is my 2022 one.. fr my art changed sm compared to previous year and idk how but im super proud!! this has been my best art year so far :))

I said good bye to my very simple coloring style and also to my consistent process and i have so much more fun.. I hope next year will be the same!! I don't think i can have such a big improvement again but i hope i'll keep experimenting stuff and learning and have fun!

im curious about bassets motivation. did he just like snap and just wanna be evil or is there something more to it?

A classic obsession and corruption story.

Starting with Bassett's backstory, He was orphaned is his own home on a little bean farm. He started out with his mother, who never wanted a kid. Let alone an unruly brat. Due to the neglect, no love and care from his Mom. Lead him to be a hateful and spiteful person.

In his meantime he had high interests in magic things, typical for a young beanslinger. But when his mother died and got left alone on the bean farm. This eventually led him to be interested in cursed things and dark magic. Especially since he now has no one to tell him "no."

This interest eventually spiraled into obsession. When he stumbled across a book of the nex mex, The obsession fell into a free fall. He hungered for more knowledge and power.

This intensify his ruthlessness, hateful and lack of care for others. Turning him into the dreaded necromancer we know today.

As his reasons for what he did to Dixie, Dixie was constantly getting in his way. She always took down his undead, destroying cursed artifacts that he wanted, and destroying the previous necromancer he dreamed of consuming.

Destroying the previous necromancer he wanted for power is what broke the camel's back. He was gonna just kill her....but He got the sick and twisted idea of turning her into the thing that she hated the most. An undead. He made sure that her mind was intact so she could actually suffer....and suffer she did.

Your pixel art is amazing!! Do u have any advice on how to start trying to make pixel art?

Oh man I don't even know where to start.

I guess for tl;dr lots of practice and aseprite

One of the biggest tips I can give someone just starting out: don't use PS or a comparable program

It would work, sure, and some people swear by it! But it's like trying to get rid of aphid infestation by using a fighter jet equipped with a flamethrower. Gets the job done but it's waaaaaay overkill, and you'll have to NEVER use certain features (like the paintbrush) and have to make a lot of adjustments and tweaks just to get started. It's not worth it.

Aseprite is what I've been using for years and it's pretty cheap (like $25 usd? I don't remember) but I've used other free programs like grafx2 and even the OG ms paint with success. Not the new paint with all the different brushes, has to be the old pixel based one. Graphics gale was really popular back in the day but now it's Aseprite I think. It seems like theres more options nowadays so whatever works for you.

There a bunch of pixel art tutorials out there, but I don't know if the ones I referenced while learning are even still online lol...

Pixelogic is a great little zine if you can afford the $9, but there's hundreds of free tutorials out there. Derek Yu is a big name in the pixel scene and he has some tutorials still online.

Also just browsing sites like pixeljoint really helped. I wouldn't advise posting there if you're just starting out (they're very much pixel art pros and critique is a big part of the culture. To even get stuff posted it goes through a peer review process), but look at some of your favorite pieces and try to analyze what they did. You can apply this to video games too, like old snes games and or even newer, more modern titles. Analyze the shit out of what they did and why.

Dithering and anti-aliasing are two popular tricks that can make a piece pop but they require a lot of practice. Manual anti-aliasing helps smooth out lines or shapes while dithering helps blend in gradients.

Go as small as you're comfortable, bigger sizes means more pixel pushing and thus more work. I usually pixel from 50 x 50 up to a max of 150 x 150 pixels. I size up everything when posting to tumblr, always use nearest neighbor when resizing and only resize in whole amounts! For example by 200% or 400%, never something like 47% or 65%.

Palettes are a big deal, the smaller the color palette the more street cred in a sense. It takes a lot of skill to make a small palette work, when you're starting out you can always use an another artist's ready made palette (aseprite comes with a bunch preloaded, including the nes palette).

That's all I can think of for now. This was a hyperfixation of mine a while back so uh. This got a little long.

OH I have a bunch of favourite words!!! I'll try to think of one per language I know:

-Spanish: morriña (I know it's Galician but whatever), 'the feeling of missing home'

-Latin: aequor ('body of water', it is used in literature to refer to the sea)

-English: forevermore

-Ancient Greek: μνεμοσύνη (mnemosyne), 'memory', she's also the mother of the muses :)

-Modern Greek: ιαιά (iaia), 'grandma', i just really love how it's the same as in spanish

-Ancient Egyptian: jb (ib), 'heart', i think it's very neat cause the hieroglyphic is a vase cause they conceptualized the heart as one and becoming friends / lovers with someone was imagined as keeping them inside of your vase and 🥺🥺🥺🥺

-Akkadian: haliqum ('to be lost' and 'to be dead', it's the same word and i think that's very poetic)

-Welsh: draig ('dragon', it was the first word i learned and i think it's pretty badass)

-Arabic: ليل ('laila'), it normally means 'night' but it can also mean 'moon' in poetry and the fact that i only knew it before as a name and then learned it has the prettiest meaning changed the game for me

And I really like cariño as a tearm of endearment, I think it's the sweetest thing ever 🥺

top 5 flowers! aaand maybe... top 5 towns in pkmn!

Ough you're giving me the good stuff here, thanks!! 1. Hibisus are my most fave, something about it just makes me happy to see them. I guess since it has the vibe of summer/spring to it which are my fave 2. Sunflowers! They're yellow, bright, and lovely (I guess just like me lol) 3. Bluebells, they're just flowers that look like cute bells, I love them ;w; 4.Cherry blossoms. Are they flowers, do they count as one? idk but I love the calm and pink style to them. 5.Dasies, they're simple yet very cute and wish I could see them more here. Okay now for pkmn towns 1. Nimbasa City. You...you already know why (Submas and Elesa) but other then that, I love the theme, the ferris wheel, subway battles, and one of my faves, the musical!! I missed it all ;w; 2. Lavender Town. Overrated, I know but I'm just a sucker for horror/dark themes in games (especially with pokemon oops) I really have nothing to say other then it's creepy and scary atmosphere, is nice. 3. Ballonlea. I really wish we have more towns like this one. It's forest and mushroom theme fits so well for fairy types. Also gives me a bit of an alice in wonderland vibe, I love it <333 4. Treasure Town (I know this is PMD but..) Something about the town gives me a 'welcome home!/home sweet home' vibe that makes me smile and makes my heart warm. I also love seeing the shopkeepers and how different they are from one another. (Kangaskhan is best mum) 5. Jubilife Village. I never played the Sinnoh gens but this gave me a nostagla feeling regardless of that. I really loved how the theme changes each time you finished a day, bringing that whiplash of nostagla hitting you. ;w; It looks so lively and peaceful.

First selfie I’ve taken in at least a year, but probably more…I gained about 25 lbs during the 2020 lockdown, and was at an all time low as far as my health and self confidence went. But I started doing weight training this January and trying to manage my eating issues, and while it’s been a bit touch and go, I’m down 30 lbs since then and up a bunch of muscle! I still have another 50lbs to go until I’m at a healthy weight for a curvy 5’7” woman, but I’m trying not to fixate too much on the scale and more of how I feel and look. Anyway—trying to build up my confidence so I can go back into the dating scene, and while I can’t say I love how I look, I don’t hate it anymore, so that’s a big step for me lol.

“Dameron, if you interrupt me one more time— Maker, help me.”

It’s the middle of the night. You’re exhausted and filthy and the last thing you want to do right now is argue with the posterboy of the Resistance yet again over how your kriffing ship should be maintained.

Unluckily for you, he doesn’t seem to care what you want.

“I’m just saying–”

“I don’t care! This is my ship. Go worry about your own!”

Your aggravated words echo through the mostly empty hangar as you turn away from him, signaling that you’re finished with the conversation. He doesn’t take the hint, however, and as soon as you reach for your tools, he’s running his mouth again.

The sound of his voice makes the blood rush in your ears and you have to close your eyes in an effort to calm yourself.

This is it, you think. This is the day you finally snap and murder him.

Clenching your jaw you exhale in frustration and swiftly turn to face him again. “Maker, will you just shut up?!”

He stops mid-sentence, mouth hanging slightly agape as he stares at you in shock and, for the briefest of moments, he is silent. But then the shock wears off and his irritatingly handsome face contorts in annoyance, a fire igniting in his eyes.

“Why don’t you come over here and make me!” he retorts, raising his eyebrows in challenge as his hands fall defiantly to his hips.

You tilt your head at his words, eyes narrowing slightly as you continue to glare at him.

‘Make me,’ he says. With pleasure.

You don’t remember moving, but suddenly you’re right in front of him, invading his space the way he always seems to invade yours. It throws him off, you can tell by the look in his eyes as they study you.

You realize too late that getting so close to him was a huge mistake. This close, you can smell him, can feel the warmth of his body, can see how soft his gorgeous curls look, can see the many shades of brown in his annoyingly beautiful eyes—

Oh. Oh, shit.

Your eyes widen a little, flicking briefly to his lips before you can stop yourself and he notices. Something in his gaze shifts and you swallow thickly in anticipation.

“Do you wanna kiss me or kill me? I honestly can’t tell.”

His voice is low, rough, and just a little bit teasing. You flush slightly in annoyance and cross your arms over your chest defensively.

“Right now? Definitely the second one.”

He bites his bottom lip in an effort to hold back a smile and you mentally curse yourself when it causes your heart to stutter a little.

“And before?” he asks innocently, moving somehow even closer to you.

“Before what?” you ask, holding his gaze and fighting the urge to step back and create space between you.

He allows himself to smile a little this time and the action momentarily draws your attention back to his mouth. When your gaze returns to his, there is a teasing glint in his eyes.

Love is a Game (For Fools to Play)

AN: So, hi. This is the first fic I’ve written in six years (OMG), and my first starring the lovely Poe Dameron, so please be gentle. I’m so sorry this is so long, btw, I meant for it to be a drabble and, well, obviously got a little carried away lmao.

Also, while I wrote this with a female reader in mind, I’m pretty sure it reads as gender neutral (please correct me if that’s wrong, I’ve read this so many times at this point I might be blind to it lol).

You throw back a shot of Jet Juice and grimace as it burns down your throat.

“Shit, this stuff is terrible. Don’t we have anything palatable?”

Poe sits beside you on the floor of the common room, his own shot of Jet Juice between his fingers. “We’re on a secret base in the middle of nowhere. What were you expecting? A Takodana Quencher?”

You laugh, grabbing another shot. “No, but I’d kill for a Starfire 'skee right about now. Maker, I’d even settle for a Tsiraki, at least it tastes good.”

“Eh, I’m more of a Starshine Surprise kind of guy,” he jokes, taking another shot.

You hum in agreement, only kind of processing what he’s saying as you too take another drink. You feel pleasantly buzzed and you find yourself wishing you felt this good all of the time. “That stuff’ll kill you, you know.”

His entire left side is already pretty much flush with your right, so when he chuckles and tries to bump your shoulder with his, he almost falls over into your lap.

“Maker, Dameron, why are you always throwing yourself at me?” You snort, slapping a hand over your face when it’s louder than you anticipated; apparently you’re more sloshed than you’d originally thought.

He rights himself and tries bumping your shoulder again, but only succeeds in pressing himself further into your side. “You’re irresistible, I just can’t help it.”

You huff a laugh and turn to answer him, realizing too late how close his face is to yours. His nose bumps your cheek and his breath fans against your lips as you lock eyes with him. His face is flushed and his eyes are a little hazy and your breath catches in your throat when his gaze dips briefly to your mouth.

You should lean back, give the both of you some space, but you can’t. He’s warm and solid and he just smells so damn good. He licks his lips absently, eyes roaming over your face.

“You know,” he whispers, raising a playful eyebrow, “if you want to kiss me, baby, all you have to do is ask.”

A strangled laugh escapes you as the tension breaks and he smiles and leans away, searching for another drink. He wrinkles his nose when he can’t find one and looks over at you. “We need more shots.”

Just then, someone across the room yells something about playing a game and mostly everyone cheers. Poe looks at you, raising his brows in askance. You shrug and begin the process of standing to your feet (which you don’t remember being so difficult…). Poe is up before you and helps you up the rest of the way, his hand grasping your upper arm.

“You good?” he asks, watching you wobble a little as he lets you go.

You nod and pat his shoulder. “Thanks for the assist, Black Leader.”

He snorts and shakes his head. “Come on, let’s go see what the game is.”

When you make it to the crowd of people playing…whatever it is they’re playing, a game is already apparently in full swing. You can’t really see what’s happening, but everyone’s cheering and laughing. You try to ask the person closest to you what’s going on, but it’s so loud, they don’t hear you. You look at Poe, Poe looks at you and you both shrug and turn back to the crowd to wait for an opening.

After a moment, there is one and you grab Poe by the arm and push your way through, dragging him behind you. When you emerge, you finally see what everyone’s so worked up about.

Spin-the-Bottle. They’re playing Spin-the-kriffing-Bottle.

You sigh in disappointment. You’ve never been into this game, even when you’re plastered. The thought of kissing some random person that you don’t even get to pick sounds like the furthest thing from fun to you. But Poe is laughing and cheering beside you (and has somehow found another drink) and you know you won’t be able to get him to leave, at least not right now, so you resign yourself and try to enjoy the antics of your comrades.

It becomes clear pretty quickly that they’re not playing a normal game of Spin-the-Bottle. According to the girl beside you (apparently named Mor), it’s some weird mash-up with another game she can’t recall the name of, but the gist is that a person spins the bottle and goes into a closet with whomever it lands on.

“What do you do once you’re in the closet?” you ask, sure that this must only be fun if you’re totally trashed.

Did someone say, *busting down a door* Twilight Knight lore? Finally we are at the lore post that absolutely no one has been waiting for, but here it is!

Backstory

Back when the Star Warrior army was first amassing to stop the being threatening the galaxy, Lycio was wanting to join the cause. However because of their high status in his home world, they were not allowed to join as a knight. But this didn’t discourage Lycio as he worked in secret to make a mask that would hide their face so that he’d be able to join the knights. Though as they worked, he realized the most defining trait of their kind was openly visible; his eyes. So to conceal their identity Lycio used his magic to change how they appeared, even though he knew that the process would leave them never looking the same. Now with their new identity as Twilight Knight and equipped with their special Eclipse Rapier (forged by Lycio himself),they joined the fight and have been among the star warrior ranks ever since.

Fun Facts; Lycio loves history books; his favorite flavor of ice cream is chocolate fudge brownie; they secretly like hugs, though they’ll never admit it.

Hi! Despite I being finals week, I have picked back up a fic I started and dropped months ago. I am looking for someone who'd be interested in beta reading it. i posted the first chapter on ao3 last night at like 2:30am after I wrote the third to fifth chapter and realized I probably made a ton of spelling and grammatical mistakes from sleep deprivation alone so having someone look for those would be very helpful lol. I'm also looking for someone interested in both Deep Space Nine and the game I Was A Teenage Exocolonist as the fic is a crossover between them. If while reading it, you have suggestions for where I could go with the story, I'd be happy to hear them!

The premise of the fic is that when the Stratospheric goes through the wormhole, they basically end up at Deep Space Nine and Bajor instead of Vertumna and Sol and his friends and family have to continue living on their ship until the Federation figures out what to do with them, which takes longer than expected (for various reasons I'll get into throughout the fic). Sol, of course, is also still dealing with his memories from other lives of having lived on the station, and at sone point I plan to have the crew find out and try to help him, with them assuming he's been in contact with an Orb. I have planned out where I want most of the characters to go, which episode tie ins I want there to be in what season and such.

Feel free to reply to this or just message me if you’re interested. I’ve never had someone outside my circle of friends beta my work, but so few of them know DS9 let alone Exocolonist. You can also just message me if you just wanna read the fic on ao3 and I’ll send you the link. I need to finish finals and such, but once I’m on break in a week or two, I’ll upload at the very least what I’ve already written. Hopefully I’ll have even more by the time I’ve posted the first five chapters.
