I have two ocs--- a Ranger and a Beorning--- who are adopted brothers, but I can't figure out which option is funnier: The Beornings picking up this Dúnadan kid and deciding 'you're ours now,' or the nice Dúnedain family abruptly finding out this innocent little eight-year-old they found wandering on his own can turn into a BEAR.

I’ve wanted to make this post for a while but wanted to wait until the dub was officially over so

My Final Thoughts on the TGCF Season 2 English Dub

Howard Wang as Xie Lian is fucking perfect. Every single time he spoke it just, I don’t know how to properly put it into words, except it is so well done?? But when XL started basically having a mental breakdown in front of Hua Cheng after Lang Qianqiu found out about the truth of the Gilded Banquet, holy fuck did the emotions just hit me in the feels. The scream and he emotional fatigue after? Xie Lian’s voice is perfection omg

Shoutout to James Cheek for just voicing the gayest character ever (Hua Cheng) and writing the gayest script for TGCF. While I liked his voice in the first season, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of it. It wasn’t until the second season where almost everything improved, and James’s voice for Hua Cheng? *chef’s kiss*. Okay but at least tone down the gayness a bit. And seeing someone who has read the novel and having little easter eggs for the novel readers for them to go insane over is incredible. I’m going to miss his voice in Season 3 since they’re going to have to cast someone else as Hong’er, but that’s ok.

Male and Female Shi Qingxuan: OMG??? Perfect casting. I just know they both put so much effort into them and I am eternally grateful. They just sound like the best of friends (they are). Every single line from them was so fucking iconic, which is accurate to the Wind Master’s character. I love both their voices so much you don’t understand.

Lang Qianqiu: AAHHHHH. My son, my boy, they gave him justice and I am so happy. First read through of TGCF, I only cared for HuaLian, but reading it again has made me appreciate and fall in love with the side characters, with Lang Qianqiu being one of them. I’ll say it did take a bit for me to adjust to it, but he sounds so much like an anime protagonist that I am ok with it. Another perfect casting. I’m going to be so fucking sad that he won’t appear for such a long time, and while he does get brought up occasionally, his last appearance is going to be the finale. I’ll miss you my son 😔

Jun Wu: ASDFGHJKL. He sounds like such a manipulative/toxic ex and a father figure at the same time. wtf. But his voice is so sexy tho. I don’t like it but I do. And I thought his original Chinese voice was hot, and then the English one goes and surprises me. I hate that I love it

Qi Rong: Perfection, glorious, fucking incredible. HIS VA IS PERFECT. Original was slaying so hard, and English? Fucking killing it. He was actually the one I was looking forward to the most, and he 👏 did 👏 not👏 disappoint. I won’t get over the perfect casting. Ever. The crazy and mad laughs? The insults I’ve never heard about but decided to keep in mind? Literally everything. I’m sorry I can’t get over how great his voice is

Feng Xin and Mu Qing (of course together): I am so biased towards Lucien Dodge, so I immediately loved his voice for him. He slaying that tsundere cat boy vibe so well. I will admit that his voice made me like his character more tbh. Ok but Feng Xin’s? Every time I hear it, I always need at least 30 seconds to get used to it. Idk why. I don’t hate it, and I actually love it, but he sounds so much like a dad it’s so funny. I still love him tho.

Pei Ming: 😳. No but that was actually my reaction to his voice. Why is every single god’s voice so hot. Please calm down. I really did not like Pei Ming at first but damn. I can actually understand why every single woman went weak with him.

Ling Wen: While she didn’t get as much dialogue this season, I’ll still count her. I’ve heard some drama relating to her voice actress from a while back but I’m not bringing it up rn. But her English voice is almost exactly the same as the original, just, different languages of course. She has such a unique voice and it’s quite pleasing to hear. She also sounds a bit like Siri but it fits her character

Other major characters that got only a few lines but still slayed their roles (Ming Yi, Pei Xiu, Jian Lan, Yin Yu): Hello?? Can I be patient to hear their voices again? Probably not, but please I need more of them. Ming Yi sounded hot since he took voice lessons from Hua Cheng, Pei Xiu sounded like such a little wet cat (wtf where did this crush on him come from), Jian Lan slayed because she is such an underrated queen, and Yin Yu? I WAS NOT EXPECTING A DEEP VOICE FROM WTF. I will say I do prefer his Chinese VA a little more due to it being more in character with him sounding soft and somewhat tired. But I enjoy his confident and announcing voice. They should keep him for the QuanYin flashbacks.

All in all, perfect cast. I don’t have twitter/X but I see things from the VA’s from time to time. And seeing them interact with the fandom and trying to give more to their characters makes me so happy. I just desperately need for more of the characters to have voices (aka Shi Wudu, Quan Yizhen, Mei Nianqing, Yushi Huang, Male!Ling Wen, White-No-Face). Give me more please.

Welcome to my somewhat reaction, I just want to gush about this game. I didn't know anything about this game but I like the art and premise so yeah!

I must admit I did not expect we would run a company let alone our parents died???? But glad to know we have a backstory for ourselves

Another thing that surprised me was that they did voice acting in English!

Unfortunately, we didn't meet Victor in person but the first one we did meet was KIRO!...Oh no....I'm in trouble

I know the main story is linear but I still feel spoiled by all these CGs it feels unreal

Also did not expect I would fall for Gavin this hard, look at that warm smile!!! :D

It's nice to know we are still wearing our tracker, no I still don't mind this (Okay maybe I am a little delulu but let me have this)

I will gush on you later my sweet Kiro for now I will add you to the list of my bundle of sunshine characters I love and adore(It's a small list but I adore them aahhhhh)

Chapter two is done!

That's about it I haven't even touched the dates and events heck there are so many I just wanted to focus on the main story, for now, I need to figure out the game mechanics and grind to level up my cards

I should have looked at a tutorial first but now I will!!

I have no idea what Army of Two actually is but I can’t resist compiling an episode long gag. Also my search history now includes the Army of Two soundtrack, Army of Two: Dirty Money, and Army of Two wiki: flamethrower.

Y/N, a new little padawan under Shaak Ti's teaching who couldn't be much older than 13, would always saved Ocho a seat in the mess hall. He had no idea why they did this, especially since the clones around him - the same ones that belittled him everyday - flocked to Y/N like Aiwha to a patch of krill. He didn't deserve their kindness, yet he got it anyway.

He could instantly see the way their eyes sparkled and their posture straightened whenever they spotted him. Through crowds of similar faces, their eyes always managed to find his own, no matter how crammed the environment was.

"Hey! Over here!" Y/N beamed, waving Ocho over to the table.

He was hesitant, his feet staying in place for a bit longer than necessary. Y/N must have saw it - sensed it - as they smiled warmly and nodded, beckoning him to come over.

Finally, Ocho let his feet wander over to the table.

"You're inviting him over here?"

His stomach turned at the words and his steps faltered. Maybe it was best to-

"Yes," Y/N said. They glared at their tablemates, "Problem?"

Ocho froze. His wide eyes looked towards the little padawan. Their eyebrows were furrowed, shadowing over the fire in their eyes. They little padawan who couldn't hurt a fly - since when did they become so fierce?

The clone sitting across from Y/N groaned, "Y/N, he's a-"

"I don't care what you think of him. He's sitting with us."

The clones around them quieted down and muttered, noticing the sudden change in the air. The clones around Y/N twisted their lips into frowns, narrowing their eyes.

"Fine," Y/N slammed the table with their palms, making the cups and utensils on it clatter. They grabbed their tray, glaring at the clones at the table, "If you guys aren't gonna let him sit here, I'll just find a spot with him," They stomped over to Ocho and grabbed his elbow, pulling him along, "Come on, let's go."

Ocho's feet stuttered. For the first time in his life, he was not being pulled by a Mandalorian or a Kaminoian who's patience was cutting shorter every single time they laid eyes on him. Instead, the hand around his elbow was gentle, yet still firm.

Wait a minute. What... What just happened? Did someone... Defend him? Stand by him? What happened to him against everyone; him against the galaxy? What- The thought made his head spin.

Exiting the mess hall, Y/N let go of Ocho's arm and plopped down. They leaned back against one of the walls, patting the obvious empty spot next to them. Ocho blinked. They wanted him to sit with them. He quickly took a seat next to them on the floor.

"I'm sorry about them."

Ocho's movements faltered, the tray in his hands forgotten.

"You don't deserve all the hate they give you. You're legit the strongest person I know. Which is saying something because I met a lot of you."

"You... You think I'm strong...?" Ocho hated how pathetic the tone of his voice was. It made him sound like a little cadet who got in trouble, but he couldn't help it. He couldn't help feeling... Welcomed.

"What? Of course I do! You deal with their bantha-crap everyday-" Y/N slapped a hand to their mouth. They whispered, "That's a naughty word to say. Sorry."

A laugh escaped the clone's throat before he even processed what was happening.

"It's alright," Ocho smiled. It's more than alright.

"Anyways, I don't think we properly met," Y/N turned to face him directly. The tray of food discarded in their lap, they held their hand out.

Their smile was probably brighter than any sun Ocho had yet to see.

"My name is Y/N. Yours?"

Ocho stared at their hand. Putting his tray of whatever rations the Kaminoians got for the clones on the floor, he hesitantly clasped his humongous hand in the padawan's tiny one. Their middle and longest finger was probably the size of his pinky, but he didn't care.

He couldn't help the smile from stretching on his face as he replied, "Ocho."

If Ocho was going to miss one thing about Kamino, if he ever leaves, it would be Y/N; his first friend.

lfjdsklfjd aaa this all means so much to hear!!! honey and tangerines... your name is a triangle... rotting fruit... dance with me... those are all little pieces I have such soft spots for, I'm so proud of the imagery and descriptions I was able to use in those. also cheeks in high color was the freckles one and tysm for mentioning it!! I very rarely write anything in the canon dsmp setting so that was a fun little trip out of my comfort zone, and tbh I really love how I wrote c!wilbur in it (and I was really proud of ugly bitch constellation lol). I'm so glad you enjoyed I was really proud of that piece <333 this isn't weird at all btw!! it means so much to hear how much you guys like my works. I know I say that a lot but it never gets any less true. all the compliments I get mean so much to me :)

please keep writing fanfics bestie! ngl ur fanfics were the reason i started thinking twice about negan. when i first watched twd daryl was my favorite but there was just something about negan that made me wanna rethink. so i thought i’d read a fanfic about him and then maybe i’d get over it. the guest was the first negan fanfic i read and no joke i fell in loveeeee w ur writing and how well written negan was. then i started the mistress and bro when i tell i’ve reread that fanfic so many times!!! i could go from chapter to chapter and go into detail about what happens and why i love it so much. and also forbidden!! that shit made me sob like a baby! i remember waiting for you the update it. i even made my friend (who never even watched twd) read it because i told her how much i loved the story and she ended up loving it too! i never feel the need to praise writers because i think my opinion doesn’t really matter. but you are by far the greatest negan fanfic writer i’ve ever come across. you were one of the main reasons why negan has been my favorite character for over a year now! (also i wanted so badly to just be ur friend bc you seem so cool aahhhhh! also idk if you remember but i was the one that asked if i could make an edit of the mistress like forever ago haha) anywho ilysm and just know you are very much appreciated!

just wanted to pop on and say in the little bit of fun free time I’ve been having to write I’ve been working on finishing the next chapter for the Richard/Henry fic because its just so cute and a nice hc deviation for me that I'm having sm fun exploring. Cant wait to wrap it up and get back to my Boreo stuff. Been also organizing some of the Sojourn Sands fic and getting some of the Forget About Kotku down and situated chronological order wise too. Just wanted to share cause i wrote a bit for the What did you take chapter 2, which i think im going to use a direct quote for the chapter name actually cause it’s pretty cute and fitting for them and their canon energy lol. sorry i’m rant sharing i just love it all sm ok bye. hope you’re all doing good and i cant wait to provide the next chapter. tbh its my own hc on the whole weirdness that was Henry and Bunny.
