1: mostly for fun! although i enjoy playing with the idea, i'm not entirely committed to them ending up together canonically. reason being is that the plot i've developed isn't as fleshed out as i'd like it to be in order to handle that seriously. however, what i can state canonically is that the relationship is non-threatening to YJ. this intrigues HB, and sometimes frustrates him; not being taken seriously and all. it's just in YJ's nature to be a little cocky bastard LOL, he loves getting the best out of HB! that isn't to say HB isn't formidable and dangerous but... well, he let's the superhero get away with a little too much sometimes. sigh <3 but this is canon. it needs to be.

2: although my first response was a shy maybe, in those situations, the commitment wouldn't stem from HB hypnotizing YJ for that gain... canonically, he only uses it to interrogate and intimidate YJ. everything else is for fun :]c hehe. honestly, it'd be YJ making the first move, if i had to say U//v//U

3: HB is a CEO of a prominent robotics company in the setting! i recently thought to myself as him using this company as more of a disguise for deeper and darker works going on behind the scenes. perhaps a portion of the company's products is used to assist superheroes' abilities, which are prominent in this setting. but in turn, this gives him the ability to lock them all down with a push of a button. very fun to think of..... even if it's giving incredibles 2 plot LOL.

4: (spins around in my chair) YJ works for HB's company - DUN DUN DUNNN!!! but he doesn't know it. personally? can't blame him, i don't know what the CEO of the job i work for looks like, nor do i care. YJ truly lives up his name, he's a real worker bee! (worker wasp?) he manages his time exceptionally well, just tends to show up late. he is usually sleep deprived in the day, but hyper at night.

5: at this time, the only resources i have is going to be their individual toyhouse pages (chaotic i know). as for the world itself, it's set in 1970s las vegas. the 1970s aspect is mingled with modern amenities, like a cassette futurism type alternate universe. but i hope to straighten things out soon and perhaps build up a google doc or something to show you guys! <3 YJ's page - HB's page / they also have playlists if you're interested! He is going to try SO hard not to stare and make it obvious but that man just can't help the way his eyes keep trailing over to watch you.

Somebody picks up on the fact that John is gorming at something in the background and they're about to look over their shoulder and figure out what, but John notices just in time and begins coughing loudly.

You realise why John is making a fuss and quietly get up and shut your tent flaps, not wanting to risk being caught.

But John excuses himself shortly after just so he can enter your tent and let out a deep breath whilst going "phew, that was close!"

And then... well, it's John, so I'm certain you know where this is going...

Charles

He tries not to notice it... Charles knows exactly what you're doing but he doesn't want to come across as rude to the camp members around him, not focusing on their conversation.

Plus, if someone notices that Charles is staring at something in the distance then they'll all definitely look over their shoulders to try and figure out what's causing so much fuss.

It's a good thing it's dark as Charles' rosy cheeks aren't as obvious. He's quite flustered, mainly because this is so risky... He's definitely going to give you a lecture on how cheeky that was.

But first, he's gonna excuse himself from the conversation so he can rush over to your tent.

Hey, this may sound kind of stupid but when I drink apple juice it has the same effect as if I drank alcohol. So can I request hcs for Shinsou, Shouto, & Izuku with an s/o that gets “drunk” by just drinking apple juice, she gets all slow, calls a thing something else, and is overall just wasted, like I don’t remember what I do when I drink apple juice and that’s why I can’t trust it, thank if you do my weird request!

okay so

it would take a while for Shinsou to see you in your ‘drunk’ state

because I don’t think he really hangs out with people a lot

and when you two do you just avoid apple juice like the plague because you know exactly what happens if you don’t

but well, one day you’re hanging out the bakusquad who you’re friends with

and of course you knew Shinsou wasn’t  there so you went all out with the juice

you aren’t that embarrassed about being that way around your friends as they’re strange too and they had seen you that way before

but

they know that you kindaaaaa like the purple haired boi

and kaminari and sero think that it would be hilaaarious to have him see you like this

so they text him to come to kaminari’s dorm room, where you all are hanging out

Shinsou at first declines the offer bc he just wants to sleep and isn’t in the mood to be annoyed

but then kaminari tells him you’re there too ;)

he leaves out the drunk on juice part :)

He won’t give in immediately, just because he knows he will get teased if he does

so well, he goes to the dorm of class A (Aizawa totally didn’t see him and pretend he wasn’t looking at all) and looks for kaminari’s room

he gets there and is slightly disappointed when bakugou opens the door instead of you

he doesn’t ask where you are, but bakugou knows that shinsou wants to see you

and tbh, he wants to see his reaction to your state too

“she’s inside” is all he says

But he doesn’t

As he enters he can hear yelling from the distance

and there’s  just pure confusion on Shinsou’s face

until he enters the living room

he sees you dancing on the couch, yelling some incoherent sentences

mina has joined you at this point and the sight is just really funny

assuming you got drunk on alcohol (y’all are of legal age here we don’t support underage drinking!!) he just chuckles and shakes his head

and then sero decides to tell him you became… that… because of apple juice

to say that Shinsou finds it amusing is an understatement

I think how midoriya handles it can go two ways, depending on whether you two are close or not

if you two are close or have been childhood friends, he will know about your… interesting habit

however, if he doesn’t know you that well he probably has no idea

tho he does analyse people at times, I don’t think the fact that you get drunk on apple juice crosses his mind

if you two are close, he will try his best to keep you ‘sober’

if you do happen to get drunk he will keep a veeeery close eye on you!!

and as soon as a) someone bothers you or b) you’re just completely wasted he will take action

and bring you to your room if it gets too late

Taehyung sighed and opened the front door of your apartment with the spare keys you gave him.

He was tired, both physically and psychologically, he just wanted to lie on your couch or bed, have a cuddle session with you and maybe, some kisses.

“Y/n! I'm back.” He said upon entering the living room. Since you weren't there, he looked for you until he found you in the kitchen, preparing some tea.

“I've missed you!” He said hugging you, tightly, from the back.

You sighed and tried to remove his arms from around you.

“Tae, we saw each other this morning.” You complained.

Taehyung rolled his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest.

“And? I can’t miss my girlfriend?” He asked.

“Yeah, I guess.” You answered, finishing to prepare your tea.

You took your cup and a piece of fruit and went to the living room, without saying anything.

Taehyung followed you, arms still crossed over his chest.

“Okay, what's wrong? Did I do something or...?” He asked, looking at you with a serious expression on his face.

You looked at him and shook your head. -Nothing, I'm good and no, you haven't done anything, what about you?- you asked.

“Then why the fuck are you acting this cold?” He spatted.

“Taehyung, you know that I'm like this, don't exaggerate.” You said.

“Don't exaggerate? I'm just asking why are you so cold.” He complained.

“And I'm just saying that I'm not acting cold!” You said raising your voice.

“YES YOU ARE! YOU DON'T KISS ME, YOU DON'T EVEN HUG ME! WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU TOLD ME I LOVE YOU?” He shouted in anger.

“I DON'T DO THIS THINGS BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE IT TAEHYUNG! YOU ALREADY KNOW THAT, I'M NOT INTO SKINSHIP, AND YOU WITH ALL YOUR SIGNS OF AFFECTION, OVERWHELMED ME.” You shouted back.

Taehyung stayed for some seconds looking at you, with a hard look, before he talked again.

“God... you and our relationship are the biggest regret in my life.” he said in a harsh tone.

The moment he said that words the room went silent.

You felt your heart sink to your stomach, he has never been like this to you.

Until now, he had understood that you were not the type of person who likes to show affection and you didn't understand why he was saying this now.

Is in this way how has he truly been feeling?

Taehyung was about to faint, why did he do something that he didn’t mean it at all?

He didn't feel like that, on the contrary, he loved you for who you were. He didn't mind that you weren't a big fan of skinship, he knew that you loved him even if you didn't show it.

Taehyung opened his mouth, he wanted to withdraw what he said, let you know that he didn't really meant all of his words, but you talked first.

“Get the fuck out of here Kim Taehyung.” you said looking at him with your crystallized eyes.

You didn't want to cry in front of him and you were trying your best to not to do it.

“Y/n I...”

“Get Out.” You said pointing at the door. “And you better not dare to show up in here for a while.” You warned.

Taehyung waited some seconds for you to talk again, to hear you say that he could stay at your home and talk about it, but you didn't say a word.

Taehyung sighed and went to the front door, before leave, he turned back to look at you, but kept having the same hard expression on your face, so he ended up leaving your apartment.

The moment you heard the door shoot, you collapsed on the floor.

You started to cry like you've never done before. Hear that from the person you loved and cherished the most broke your heart in a million pieces.

Taehyung felt like a real asshole.

When Hoseok opened the front door of their dorms, Taehyung collapsed on his friend's arms.

He explained what happened between sobs what happened and the boys looked at him with compassion.

“But you are Taehyung and Y/n, you are like... the perfect couple, you will get through this.” Jungkook said.

“Yeah, that's true.” Jin.

“I don’t know guys, I really fucked up” He said.

“Don’t worry Taehyung, I know y/n, she will forgive you.” Namjoon said patting his back.

You looked at the box in front of you.

You knew that it was from Taehyung, something to make you forgive him.

You opened the little box and picked the paper which was inside.

Taehyung looked at his watch, 7:08pm.

He sighed and even though he was losing his hope, he waited for you some more minutes.

“Sorry, I am late.” He heard and he turned back to see you.

He smiled instinctively, full of relieve.

“I thought that you weren’t going to come.” He said.

You looked at him in silence, without saying anything.

The atmosphere was quiet, silent, a little uncomfortable you would say.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry for everything I’ve said, you didn’t deserved any of that words.” He sudenly said.

“No, I didn’t.” You agreed.

He started to play with his fingers, you could sense that he was nervous.

“I-I’m really happy that you are here, we can talk about... this and try to fix this.” He said.

“That's what I wanted to talk about, Taehyung ... I do not think there's a solution.“ You said.

“W-what?” He asked with his eyes wide open.

“I’ve been thinking about what you said, Taehyung, a lot. You are a person who loves to hug and being hugged while I hate all of that, it makes me uncomfortable and more even if it’s in public. You always complain about me acting too cold but it’s just my personality Tae, I can’t avoid it.”

“But.. I do love you, a lot. I love you for who you are and I don’t mind if you are cold or if you don’t like skinship.” He complained.

“Tae.” You said getting closer to him and grabbing his hands. “You need someone more like... more like you, someone who loves to cuddle as much as you do, who loves to show affection as you do and most importantly, someone who doesn’t make you regret dating her.” You said calmly.

“But I don’t regret meeting you, I said all that thing because I was mad and stressed, please, don’t leave me.” He begged, holding your hands stronger.

“I think the best thing will be give ourselves some time to think about this and reflect.”

Taehyung didn’t say anything, he just stayed there, looking how, after waiting some minutes for his response, you let go of his hands and disappeared in the dark of the night.

For the second time, he just did something that he didn’t mean it.

Let you go has been, is and will be, the worst decision in his life.

Like this year we are taking it chill and are using a local store to do the major food making (so a delivery? Ive been in the hospital lately for sickle cell anemia and all of your writing is what keeps me in a way still having hope? I started watching jojo in the hospital before and after my procedures and now do that with your writing. Like a reward I guess hehe. Could I maybe have Josuke and a s/o that doesn't have much time to live? So he makes the best of it and tries his best to show her the amazing world they live in before her time is up?

Josuke can’t stand hospitals.

He knows that this is something a lot of people feel, that there aren’t really people who enjoy visiting the hospital - but still, he can’t help but feel his skin crawling whenever he comes in through one of the doors and gets that first whiff of antiseptic and sees all of the professionals in their white uniforms milling around.

Perhaps Josuke doesn’t like hospitals for different reasons than other people; for every person in this hospital he could just use Crazy Diamond on and fix up their broken legs or burns or bruises, there are two more people with an illness that’s going to kill them that he can’t do jack shit about.

He hates it.

Josuke just wants to help people; he wants to make people happy and see them live out their dreams and maybe, on the way, get to live out his own - get his house and a dog and maybe even a wife and children, protect his town and live out a life filled with love.

The very fact that he’s in this hospital, visiting the one person he wants to spend his life with, feels like a big, cruel joke.

“Josuke?”

You look up from the book in your lap to see your boyfriend at the door of your hospital room, a shy smile on his handsome face.

You’re being discharged, for a little while, with strict instructions not to do too much or push yourself too hard. You’re not dumb - you see the way the doctors look over your head when they think you’re not paying attention and you know the outlook isn’t good.

Last year, they’d said you had a good three or four years left in you. A month ago, a doctor had shrugged and said ‘maybe six months’. A week ago, you’d overheard them whispering when they’d thought you’d been asleep - “She’ll be lucky if she makes it two.”

There’s a filled bag on the bed next to you and Josuke looks so glad to see it. It’s got your pyjamas and toiletries and more medication than you know what to do with in it, but you know that to Josuke it represents that (even if just for a little while) you’re going to get to be free of the wires and the tubes and the doctors around your bed. You’ll get to spend time with your boyfriend, in private.

You’ve been looking forward to going back to your place for weeks.

“Are y’gonna need a chair?” He asks, mouth curling into a frown as he looks around for a wheelchair.

“I’m alright, today,” you tell him, using his proffered arm to pull yourself up and steady your balance. “I’m feeling pretty strong. That might just be all the drugs, though.” You shoot him a cheerful smile and the genuine worry in Josuke’s eyes makes your heart want to curl in on itself and die.

Nobody in the world is good and pure enough to deserve Josuke Higashikata as their boyfriend, and you can’t believe that you’ve somehow lucked out and gotten this perfect creature to care about you.

He’s very soft and slow and careful as he leads you out of the room, swinging your bag up onto his shoulder as if it weighs nothing (you wince to hear the clatter of pills pressing against their plastic bottles). He keeps his arm out for you to grasp onto so you don’t lose your balance, and if you weren’t in the middle of a public place you would use this opportunity to kiss him.

You are, though, so you restrain yourself. Various workers smile and nod at you and Josuke; by now, they’re used to your presence, and once one has met Josuke they don’t soon forget him. He’s six foot something of muscle and impressive pompadour and absolutely gorgeous on top of that; more than a few of the younger doctors and nurses have called him your ‘handsome boyfriend’ and every time they do you feel your face heat up. It still feels so strange to look at Josuke and think of him as boyfriend - he seems like he’s too good for that. Too good to be named something so mundane.

He fastens your seatbelt for you - you roll your eyes at him, but he likes taking care of you, so you let it slide.

“Do you just want to go straight home?” He asks you, as he begins to try and maneuver out of the hospital’s parking lot.

Once you go home, Josuke’s going to ask about the latest developments with whatever it is that’s killing you from the inside, and you’re going to have to tell him that you have two months to live “if you’re lucky”.

“C-can we get ice cream, first?” You ask, your throat dry, suggesting the first thing that comes into your mind. Josuke shoots you a searching look but shrugs.

You let out a breath of air you hadn’t realized you’d been holding in.

Breaking Josuke’s heart could wait another couple of hours.

* * *

“You’re sure?” He asks. There are tears trembling on the edge of his eyelashes but you know that, if he can, he’ll hold them in until you’re not around.

“I mean,” you shrug. “They haven’t told me yet - I don’t think they want to worry me. But,” you look Josuke right in the eyes and take a deep breath. “I can just … kind of feel myself shutting down, y’know?”

One of his tears escapes and he sniffs loudly and wipes it away, looking down into his lap and speaking with a voice that’s cracking over and over again.

“I’m sorry,” he says, “for cryin’. I know this must be worse for you. I jus’ …” He sniffs again, blinks back tears hard. “I jus’ love you, so much.”

“I love you too,” you say back, and fuck now you’re crying too. “Josuke - if …” You sigh. “If I’m not going to last much longer, I’m glad I can spend the last of my time with you.”

His full lip wobbles and he says, tense;

“Y-you’re gonna make me cry again.” He swallows deeply, takes a moment to breathe in, and then looks you square in the eyes - the effect is ruined a little by the fact his pompadour is deflated and his cheeks are pink from crying and his eyes are puffy, but when he speaks he sounds utterly convinced of himself so that you can’t help but believe every word that drops out of that gorgeous mouth of his. “I-if this is it,” he says, “I’m gonna make sure that you have the best last days ever that anyone in the whole world’s ever had, babe.”

A smile breaks across your face - God, you don’t deserve Josuke. He’s falling apart inside - you’ve known him long enough to know when he’s putting on a happy face - but he’s trying to keep it together for you.

“They will be,” you say to him, gently. “You’re in them.”

But I like this idea and I’ll go with it ;) I think Modern Sonic would get a bit suspicious if Amy stopped being so ‘doting’ on him and wonder if he upset her. So this kind of ‘worry/concern’ or ‘did I do something wrong?’ (supposing he noticed, lol!) could transfer over in hilarious ways to Boom!Sonic. Since… he’s technically a ‘chibi’ version of Sonic, as in he emotes WAY MORE than Modern Sonic usually allows for his emotions to be expressed.

Prompt:

Sonic was snoozing off in his hammock, not really stressing as it was a warm day and some light was hitting his body just right while the rest of his face was laid in shadow.

Jumping into his dreams, we find him having more of a ‘replayed memory’ type of dream, where Amy, looking very nerdy with glasses, was doting on Sonic as he posed and seemed to arrogantly be looking over his bandages.

“There gonna be the new sensation.” he turned his hand back and forth, admiring his fashion sense, before frowning to her as she fawned.

“You’re so cool, Mr. Sonic~” she lifted a leg up, blinking her big eyes as he looked away, looking less than interested.

“Right, well. Of course, I’m Sonic The Hedgehog!”

“Right! And I’m-”

He put a finger to her mouth.

“Not important. Look, you gotta go… what? Study something, right?”

“U-uh,… archaeology, Mr. Sonic.” She pushed her dorky glasses up.

“Heh, sounds neat. PFft. Anyway, catch ya later!”

She frowned as he raced off, before looking angry and taking her glasses off.

“I’ll show him! Hah!” she threw her glasses down and smashed them, storming off as Sonic passed Tails, also having braces and looking very dorkish.

“Wow! It’s Sonic!”

“Ugh, I’d rather be caught dead than have nerds as friends!” He rolled his eyes.

Sonic woke up, in a bit of a shock, before rubbing his eyes and looking down.

“Wow, I really was a jerk back then!” he moved his feet off the hammock, and let his hands and head hang down a moment. “…I really shot her down… didn’t I?” He scratched the back of his head.

Then an idea popped back into his head. “Hang on…” he tilted his head up, perking his ears slightly. “If she doted on me once…” he looked to the window, before darting over to a scrapbook and opening it up, “Good thing Amy randomly makes these things for us.” He looked at a page she organized and saw a picture of them younger, her having drooped eyes up at him while he made an epic pose and tried to be the center of the picture.

He tightened his mouth’s line, and then smirked, closing the book.

“You can never get over your first love…~” he turned to bounce his eyelids and then took off.

Sprucing himself up, he thought he looked pretty good, but Amy would just walk passed him, under the impression he was just being a little weirder today, and continued her chores and other such things.

He tried to first help her fetch water from a well, but while trying to impress her, fell in and had to have Sticks bark to Amy that he was stuck.

The next time he tried helping with groceries, but he had carried too many and the bags all broke, causing Knuckles to follow the trail of food and eat all that she had bought.

The last straw was when Amy was trying to sunbathe, and he was so bored just laying down that he tried to entertain her, but ended up kicking sand all over her. To make matters worst, he brought out a boombox and started dancing, trying to show off that way and get Amy to fawn on him again. But according to Sticks, Sonic’s ‘ancient rain dance’ had sparked the storm of a century, and the gang all huddled in Amy’s home, as Tails freaked out with thunder and would crawl deeper into the huddled bunch, shivering.

“This is all my fault.” Sonic looked away, admitting it for once.

“Sonic? Are you okay? For one, you don’t admit you’re mistakes THAT easily, and two, you’ve been trying to do nice things for me, which is CLEARLY against the natural order unless you’re naturally in trouble. So what gives? Why have you been tormenting me all day?!” Amy was on the other side of him, across from Knuckles, Tails’s twin tails since his head was pushed further into the couch, and Sticks.

“I.. I just missed the old days, alright?!”  he looked away, not wanting to have this conversation.

“Old days? What are you talking about?” Amy blinked in confusion, as Knuckles laughed.

“Old days? Haven’t we always been this age?”

One of Tails’s tails whacked him on the side of his face.

“Ouch! Hey..”

“I don’t understand.” Amy looked more concerned now.

Sonic sighed, growing frustrated under the blanket that they were all using to dry off and keep warm.

“You… you thought I was so cool back then! Everything I did had no flaw, no blemish… all of a sudden, all you ever do is point out my flaws, where I trip up at, where I don’t measure up to your ‘perfect’ image or whatever.” he looked away, rolling his eyes, shaking his head, before looking…. kinda hurt.

“I just wanted to be liked again.”

Everyone but Tails looked over at him, but Tails’s tails did turn as if heads, as all eyes looked perplexed by his confession.

“Oh, Sonic.” Amy smiled, bending her own eyelids back to show more fondness in them, a tender look of love. “We barely knew each other back then. There are way more things I like about you now!”

“There are?” he turned back, before getting freaked out by everyone staring at him.

“Oi! Get your own conversation!”

Everyone immediately turned to one tail of Tails’s, and started conversing and talking about odd and in things to them, as they also pretended to move around and speak as well.

Then thunder hit and Knuckles, Tails’s tails, and Sticks all ducked under the blanket, leaving Amy and Sonic having some privacy.

“Well, now that we’re alone.” Amy sarcastically stated, making a funny face. She giggled, “I don’t quite get what you’re saying, Sonic. I usually don’t. But You’re much more caring about your friends then you were before. You accept us the way we are, and you always do your best to keep us safe and happy.” she beamed, and Sonic felt pretty good about himself for a second, even closing his eyes to motion his head up, taking in the praise.

But then his eyes blinked and he looked away, “But you… um…” he shifted his eyes to her, and then back away.

Eyes peeked up from the blanket.

“5 MORE MINUTES!”

They ducked under.

“Sheesh.” Sonic shook his head, looking upset by their ‘rudeness’ before clearing his throat and gesturing to her, still being a bit shy.

“You don’t act like you used too… still.” he looked away, folding his arms and ducking his head, a bit insecure on asking why that was.

“…Oh, um.” Amy turned nervous, giggling slightly and twiddling her fingers. “W-well, I’ve grown up, Sonic… I… I may not always show it as much as I ‘regrettably’ used too but I… I still… well,-”

The team all peeked up again.

“WE’RE STILL RIDING THE CLOCK!”

The gang ducked their heads as Knuckles’s fists came up and bonked Tails on the head from underneath the blanket.

“I told you that was less than 5!”

“Sticks bumped it and it was reset! I had to start it up again from my best estimate!”

The thunder strikes again.

“YIKES!”

Tails dug up cushions and hid under them as the two sighed beside him.

“Go on.” Sticks stated from under the blanket. “Our apologies.”

Amy and Sonic looked back up to each other, and then away as Sonic folded his arms, looking nervous as Amy played with one of her quills, stroking it down and sucking her lips in.

“…Alright, I kinda… I feel bad about how I treated you back then.”

“How you treated us all..” Tails muttered, as Sonic glared.

“Knuckles?”

BONK

“Thank you.” he looked back to Amy, “But I honestly don’t want you acting any way, shape, or form out of who you naturally are! I’m sorry for making you feel you had to ‘grow up’ but I just want you to know that-”

Amy suddenly placed a hand on his mouth, smiling, “…Not important.” she winked, “Thank you, Sonic. But it wasn’t completely you that made me want to change. I grew up without you influencing it. Haha!” she laughed and then lowered her finger, pushing against his chest playfully.

“I wanted to change. And I’m glad I did.”

“..But..” Sonic pouted, looking away. “You don’t … react the same way around me as you used too.”

“Hehe, why? Want me to start cuddling up to you again?” Amy teased, moving closer and blinking her eyes a lot.

He scooted back, “N-not a chance!”

She laughed, leaning back. “Then I think I’ll stay just the way I am!”

He sighed, before giving in and nodding, scratching the back of his head. “But I think… I may want to change now… just a bit. You know,… for even more untapped levels of awesomeness to be expressed.” he chilled back, going back to his usual self as Amy wondered what that could mean.

Was he going to change for her?

“5!”

The three all threw the blanket off, gasping for air.

“Oh boy.” Tails tapped out, leaning back with his stopwatch. “I didn’t know how long I could take the heat anymore.”

“Your tails are too hot!” Sticks kicked them away, growing as they flopped around before Tails withdrew them back around him.

“Eh-heh. Sorry.” he looked apologetic before the rain dissipated.

“Hey! It’s sunny again!”

The gang turned around, but as everyone looked outside, Sonic looked to Amy, who felt eyes on her and turned to look at him.

The two smiled.
