Thank you!! Flying is stressful even if you’re used to it. But I had so many adventures today!

- met the most handsome man I’ve ever seen in my life in the TSA precheck line.

- flight next to me in New York got boarded by cops. like, so many cops. wonder what happened there.

- I watched a gate agent berate a woman for being rude and she got SO red. she absolutely was being rude. amazing work by the gate agent 10/10.

- ran for my life in the DC airport to make a flight and skipped several rope barricades (with handsome TSA precheck guy) to get there faster.

- TSA precheck DILF called me SWEETHEART. SWEETHEART.

- finally made it on the last plane standby and JUST made it on the plane!!

An update for my Hellsing anon - I finished Hellsing Ultimate last night. I very much enjoyed both versions, though I agree that Ultimate is the superior of the two. (Including the animation style, which I thought was really cool, though both have an awesome aesthetic.) And no, the violence didn't bother me at all. Then again, I am pretty desensitised, having been raised on splatter films. As for the lore, I didn't have a problem with that. (I find myself way more annoyed when I hear people trying to speak with authority on vampires, yet they get so much wrong. Especially if said people have Ph.D.s in folklore or literature, something that was out of my reach due to my mental health and impoverished background.)

My additional thoughts on it... Well, Alucard was hot! What can I say? Long, dark hair and an intimidating personality make me weak in the knees. 😍 And I totally ship Alucard x Seras! I could get behind Alucard x Seras x Integra if I see more content. I did like their dynamic and its kink potential. Integra doesn't do it for me the way Juri Arisugawa from Revolutionary Girl Utena does, but I do find her demeanor quite sexy.

The interpretation of Catholicism was certainly interesting... lol! I admit it's been over thirty years since I left the Church, but we were all about forgiveness. It does make a compelling contrast with Trinity Blood, where much of the Vatican is trying to make peace with the vampire-dominated Empire. Of course, there are a lot of parallels between each series, too.

If I have a complaint, it's that I wish it were longer. I'd love to see more interactions between the three leads! Might have to read some fics...
