Hange couldn’t help but stop on their horse to watch you. They knew if you saw them stopping to watch you, you would kill them with your bare hands. Yet Hange took the risk to get to watch in action.

There was nothing better than watching you boss around your squad. They couldn’t help it! You just looked so badass in the field. They was just something about how you moved and spoke with confidence, that turned them on. Especially when you were chewing at recruits.

They notice you looking at them, you crossing your arms with the face that says “get back to work or I’m kicking your ass”

The thought of not listening to you crossed Hange's mind, it wouldn’t be too bad to have you scream at them. They can’t help it; they think you just look a little too hot when you're mad.

i'm sorry.. i didn't really care too much for Lac Long Quan.. his myth is so.. i KNOW the fox demon and the giant fish thing are supposed to be evil, but like, cmon!! they were just trying to eat and survive its not their fault 😖

Au Co is a little unhinged in her own way i think. her husband really said "sorry babe, but i'm going to let the blood of my ancestors dictate my future, so we've gotta split", and she just went, "ok cool 👍". though i DO admire how clean their divorce was, and how easy the child settlement was. split it clean, 50/50. nice.

“Well, first, I’m gonna do the smart thing, which is to wish for unlimited wishes. Second, I’m gonna ask that all my unlimited wishes come true, and third, I’m gonna ask that genie to shove itself back inside the fricking lamp he came from, and leave me the hell alone. Forever.”

Moira takes a long slurp from her smoothie, holding Claire’s eyes from where she sits across from her. The straw falls from Moira’s mouth as she leans back against the booth, folding her arms against her chest.

“Realistically, though?” Her tone is softer, more serious. “I’d wish I’d listened to Barry and never joined TerraSave.”

It may be selfish, but there’s no chance Moira will forget that experience. It’ll haunt her forever and well, if she were to get a chance to make it all go away, she’d take it without a second thought.

A long sigh as she ponders her second wish. “I’d wish I’d never taken that gun.”

And shot Polly.

For the third wish, she shrugs. “And a beer would be nice, I guess.”

I’m looking forward to your Eric Clapton wedding story. I’ve often thought about John’s comment that when he was strong, Paul was weak. He was very perceptive because it turned out to be the case even after his death - when John was a hero, Paul was a villain, and now it’s the other way round. If Paul had been weak in the 70s (eg, if Wings had been a disaster or if Linda had died then) would John have been strong?

Hello lovely. Thank you so much! I’ve been writing bits of it today. It’s a lot of fun; I reckon it’ll be a bit lighter than some of my other stuff. Hopefully done in under 30k. Just a silly little romp.

I'm not sure I’ve seen the comment that way around. Just John saying that if he felt weak, he assumed Paul must feel strong when they were arguing. He also said that when he was going through hell Paul was doing really well. But I suppose that doesn’t really impact your question one way or another.

I do think it’s interesting to consider what would have happened if Paul had just flopped massively with Wings and/or Linda had left him. What’s that mean for John? Let’s review the options.

I think there’s a strong argument that he’d do less. His competition with Paul was the big thing in spurring him into action in 1980 and probably for Walls and Bridges too. So, without that, does he just not bother with it all? Especially if he felt he’d “won” by having two successful albums and Paul didn’t get that. I mean, it’s a huge over simplification because John was an artist. He had the drive to create and for others to see it (him). So it’s pretty unlikely we never hear from him again. But I do think it’s possible it’d be less.

The other option is that they’d have collaborated before the end of the 70s. I say this because John’s hang up was how “unequal” they were because of Paul’s success. Of course Paul might have the same thing but he’s literally never suggested he’s ever felt inferior to John so I dunno. Can he feel that? Would it bother him? Perhaps John isn’t interested without a successful Paul, but I doubt that a lot.

Finally, it’s possible he does feel freer. He does whatever he wants and as the only Beatle that would have been doing well by the middle-end of the 70s, perhaps he rides that wave. I think, given the timings, he’d have still had his lost weekend. And, if we believe Paul, without him there to nudge John back to Yoko maybe he doesn’t go. In which case, yeah, we get at least another album. And a good one too, because I see him as being super creative during that time and growing as a producer too. I do think he’d have taken a break regardless - perhaps he and May would have had a baby. If so, he’d have likely been coaxed back to work sooner.

Again. If he’s the only Beatle doing it, I reckon the press would likely have treated him well. As they sort of did most of the time anyway. Especially if he was consistently “playing the game”

Anyway! What do you all think? This was fun to write and think about.

Memories came flooding back one after another, it had been at least 7 years since barbossa had seen Mrs turner last. So much had happened between him and Jack that even when time flew by, hector had been on an adventure of his own. The sight of Elizabeth had barbossa remember their first meeting, a meeting upon the pearl when she held the key toward the curse being lifted from cortez.

Barbossa observed carefully as she left her drenching, wet coat over the wooden, somewhat sturdy chair. "Close mrs turner but nay, not aft'ar wha' blackbeard did ta' me ship".

Barbosssa hobbled himself around, he slammed his own peg leg onto a table showing the loss he had to do to survive. "Blackbeard captured me crew, my men, usin' some kinda' supernatural force ta' wrap tha' riggin's around them, like snakes".

"Deafeated I ad' no choice--I ad' ta' cut off me own leg" barbossa lowered his leg off the table. "Aye, the pearl be gone, blackbeard took it".

Barbossa shrivelled off his overcoat garment, he hobbled over toward her. The peg leg coming into view when the light of the fire shinned onto it. As Elizabeth had figured out quickly why barbossa was truly after the fountain of youth it became clear.

He wasn't after it for the eternal life, no, he was after it for vengeance against the pearl. Jack was just a muse, a pawn to guide him toward blackbeard.

With a glance, he caught onto Elizabeth's words. The woman was pretty yet scary. Barbossa once warned jack of Elizabeth "pretty face but scary lass".

"Beileve me mrs turner, ye would know" barbossa smiled with an amusement. The lass had been taught so much that she even became the pirate king; its no wonder many either feared her or loved her.

"I don't care fer king goerge nor his army, an not even jack" he continued. "It be fer tha' pearl tha was lost".

This encounter was like greeting an old friend, as how barbossa would run into jack in the most fearsome yet choatic of situations.

Barbossa viewed Elizabeth as an old ally, one that he for the first time, grew to respect.

She had momentarily fluttered her eyelashes when Barbossa slammed his peg leg on the table. She had always known Barbossa was a man who would not surrender to death so easily, even so she had never expected him to cut of his own leg in order to avoid it. The cunning captain managed to surprise her ones more.

Elizabeth listened as if his words were golden. In his story, already a strategy that was several moves ahead. Soon realizing it wasn’t the Pearl he was after, not really, it was vengeance. Blackbeard had to pay for what he had done, and somehow she believed Barbossa’s determination would get him what he wanted.

❝ So Blackbeard and Jack are both looking for the fountain, ❞ she paused, returning her attention to the radiant gold flames before she continued, ❝ King George wants you to stop the Spaniards,... and you, captain Barbossa, want justice for what Blackbeard did to your beloved Pearl. ❞ It seemed her only true enemy was Blackbeard. With Barbossa on her side, her chances would definitely change for the better.

❝ You do realize King George will be very displeased if he figures out you didn’t obey his orders. ❞ Elizabeth eyed him thoughtfully. The room lit up with a bright flash of lightening, and thunder rattled the windowpanes. Him getting the Pearl back was most definitely the best defense against the English. After all, the pirate ship was still the fastest ship in the Caribbean.

She wondered if Barbossa had already figured out her motives. The reason why she traveled to this destination. If he hadn’t at first, he must have by now. After all, it would be very unwise to underestimate his intelligence. She rose, slowly approaching him, the rhythmic percussion of her boots the only sound in the room. ❝ I suggest we work together, I’ll help you defeat Blackbeard, and you help me get to the fountain. ❞ The first time she bargained with him, she failed to be specific. This time she had to be more careful. She knew Barbossa wouldn’t let another man’s goals get in the way of his own.

Grackle would be the worst fucking house cat. An absolutely abysmal pet. Every negative stereotype that cats have? All Grackle. He’d scratch up the furniture, attack your hand, get into the catnip stores, climb up on the counters, steal food - everything.

Raven? A lovely little lap pet. Very well behaved, perfect manners, insanely smart. Could probably easily pick up the button-talking thing that I’ve seen some pets learn how to do. Only downside of his? Fucking terrified of people. They can only be around their owners on Their terms, on Their schedule.
