Throughout the series, they have a deep friendship with each other which is consistently extremely important to the story's narrative. In order for them to be able to fight, they must get along and resonate with each other, and due to the mechanics of their world, fighting independently of each other is extremely difficult. In multiple instances, they are shown to be willing to put themselves in harm's way to extreme degrees to keep each other safe. They are even shown to live together. They are The Singular Straight Ship I have ever shipped and I love them. Also they are really cool and Soul can turn into an awesome scythe weapon that like only Maka can wield. And they fight really awesomely together.

Soul is an idiot. His brain hardly functions some of the time but especially when Maka does shit like kiss him on the cheek.

And right now he is absolutely not functioning. The pretty, honey blonde just kissed the breath out of him- out of nowhere. Nimble hands gripping his tan jaw, coming to her tip toes and kissing him like he’s her life line. Then she just bounced away?

He stands, blinking and confused as to what the fuck just happened. He doesn’t even register the drink in his hand slowly pouring onto the floor until Kidd screeches.

I made this just because I wasn’t satisfied with the manga’s version of their gender swapped counter parts

This is just a silly concept, I design them based on their silhouette shape and kept mostly their personality but with added ideas, feel free to add more to them or maybe suggest something along with their design concept. I hope you guys like this, I’m not that confident with some parts of it but I didn’t want to be too complex!
