Kaz: Jesper, where are you?

Jesper: I'm at the rendezvous point. Where are you?

Kaz: You're not at the rendezvous point. Because *I'm* at the rendezvous point.

Jesper: Uh, where's the rendezvous point again?

Kaz: In the alley. By the marketplace.

Jesper: Well, I am in an alley.

Kaz: And yet, clearly not the right alley.

Jesper: Yeah well, there's a lot of alleys in this town.

(Jesper gets into a fight)

Kaz: So are you going to make the rendezvous or not?

Stadwatch: Hey you, stop!

Jesper: It's possible I may be a little late.

Kaz: You're already late.

(Jesper starts running)

Kaz: Jesper, what's going on?

Stadwatch: What's going on? This is a restricted area.

Jesper: Right, so I'm definitely going to be late.

Kaz: Late-er. Late-er!

(Jesper gets into another fight)

Kaz: Wait, are you fighting the stadwatch?

Jesper: What makes you say that?

Kaz: I heard gunfire. And screaming.

Jesper: There may be more screaming.

Kaz: Oh, that's great. You get lost in the middle of a mission and decide to start your own fight. Again.

Jesper: I didn't decide. It just happened. This time.

Just a very short angsty one shot I wrote! Hope you all enjoy

Not This Time

"Ruby, I won't leave you. Not this time." Weiss breathed out, forcing herself to contain her emotions as she stared into one silver eye, one red. She hoped, prayed that whatever was left of her wife could hear her, that just hearing her voice would cause Ruby to come home.

Faint sounds of fighting could be heard below the throne room where Weiss and the Hound stood. Weiss drowned out the sounds of her friends, family, fighting to survive. Her mission right now, as it had always been, was to save Ruby. For a moment Weiss could swear that she saw Ruby, the real Ruby, beneath all the Grimm. In a flash it was gone forever.

"Then you will die." The creature snarled out through its razor sharp snout. The once bright gleaming silver of Ruby's eyes were replaced with a dull lifeless gray, a sight that snapped Weiss' heart in two.
