i think ghost’s scars are big, that they take up huge portions of skin but that there’s only realistically about 4 or 5 of them. ofc he’s got itty bitty ones here and there from every day accidents and rare field injuries, but most of his damage was doled out one giant step at a time.

soap, on the other hand, is covered head to toe in scars. he’s got regular and chemical burns, he’s got knife and bullet wounds galore; here he had surgery on his lower intestine, there he narrowly avoided being a mountain lion’s late supper, and the nasty one on his side was from a serious case of road rash. all this not counting his big ass top surgery scars.

the first time ghost sees his naked back he has to do a double take at the enormous scars that lead down the backs of his thighs. he’s hit with a sudden wave of despair as he makes out the little round circular scars that pepper the skin in between them.

season 2 elle is in a very different place than season 1 elle. season 1 elle was at a transitional point in her life - she’d come out fairly recently and only just moved from truham to higgs, where everyone was a stranger and she was the only trans girl. but in season 2 she seems to be a lot more secure in her identity and a lot more confident in general. she’s reconnected with her friends, gotten more comfortable flirting with tao, been accepted to lambert, and even made trans friends who she can be herself around!
