im sleepy and i just finished infosumping to my friends o im coming to my favorot blog

you knoe how yuuri has. A lot of posters of victor? Like a ton. Well, look at the posters. Theyr all the same for the most part. And they arent that big or snythin. Sure ther are standouts and he does have some bigger and some individual ons, but like. He has two of every kind it feels like.

And its not like victor only has 6 or smth posters and yuri kust has all of em. He had to have a lot. But like. Why does yuri only have a few that are duplicates?

This is definitly me prohecting, but id lik eto propose this. Yuuri’s family inst rich. They arent poor or anything, but not rich. And figure skating is expensive!! Collegr in the states is expensive!! So what if yuuri, instead of buying posters, cut off ones from magazines n stuff? I did that a lot as a kid; i cut off spreads from magazines or conic book covers of my favorite super hetoes and used them as posters. The actual posters i got were birthdays, christmas, etc.

so yeah. Just silly thoughts. Mayb yuri cut off magazine pages and used them as posters. :)

I love this headcanon, I agree that the katsuki’s probably weren’t the most affluent folks around (last hot spring, a dying business for their area). It’s probably heavily thanks to the resources yuuri had through friends and family like Minako and yuuko, access to ballet lessons and ice castle for discounted prices, that he may accredit to being able to pursue his skating career. And that frugality gets brought to light with things like merch collections, so yes, very fun to think about!
