Okay so it is 1:20am and I should be going to bed but instead I’m gonna contribute to the endless conversation about how fucking fantastic the representation in hades is
Like as a queer person of colour I just get this massive wave of joy when I see my favourite characters look like me. Like I often forget how underrepresented people like me are in the media until I actually see it and it changes me fundamentally lol
Orpheus and eurydice have afros LIKE ME! Athena, ares, zeus and patroclus are black LIKE ME! Dusa is asexual and trans LIKE ME! Chaos is nonbinary LIKE ME! There’s also east/south asian representation via hermes and dionysus. And it’s all portrayed so casually, it’s not there to tick off a diversity box. Supergiant actually put thought and care into these designs and stories and that’s just so amazing to see especially within the gaming industry
To quote the creative director of supergiant from this article (which you should DEFINITELY check out)
“As we discussed and researched the Olympians from canon sources, something stood out that in retrospect was obvious: They’re called the Greek gods because they were worshiped in ancient Greece, not because they themselves are ethnically Greek.”
“Zeus rules all the heavens, not just the airspace over Greece, Poseidon rules all the sea and land. They sprang from the Titans, who sprang from primordial Chaos, the source of all creation. So it stands to reason that the gods represent all the people of the world, at least indirectly.”
Not only is it great to see sexuality represented but it’s represented well. Like everyone just knows zag is bi, there’s no coming out story and there’s no threat of discrimination. It’s just like yeah this is zagreus he likes men and women and pissing off his dad. When zag asks dusa about her body and she declines to talk about it he apologizes saying that he didn’t know any better. Everything is treated with so much respect it’s just so great
Again, my heart feels so full when I see portrayals like this. I looked in the mirror the other day and made a joke about how my hair looked like orpheus’ and that honestly made me so happy and giddy it was a little embarrassing lol
Anyways, I think I had more to say but I’m tired and my brain is foggy but I needed to rant about this because otherwise I might’ve exploded lmao
I just love this game so much

What are your thoughts on LO Krokos and LO Ampelus (Psyche) ?
These two male mythological figures, who had a gay relationship with gods, turned into female characters ! If they weren't included (especially since Dionysus is still a baby here), I wouldn't mind. But just using those names like that TWICE is strange, right ?
It's also weird how LO turns two virgin goddesses into lesbians, but don't even implement the canon gay relationships.
Can you find an explanation?
I mean I can't really offer an explanation because obviously I have no way of really seeing into Rachel's head, but it's definitely a choice that she's taken so many gods and characters from Greek myth and turned them into something else entirely, it feels very random and, in the case of the gods who were canonically gay/queer/etc. ... it's hard to ignore and give benefit of the doubt.
Another example is Persephone's therapist, Chiron, who's not just gender bent, but also put into the role of being a therapist ?? Which is like, okay, fine, but like... what is this accomplishing besides vaguely referencing Chiron's affiliation with medicine LOL
(this wound up turning into a bit of an essay so I'm including a jump to make it easier for scrollers lol)
To me, it just feels like it really cements Rachel as not being as well-read in Greek myth as she claims to be, because so much of the actual Greek myth in this comic is either taken directly from first results on Google (see: Zeus' definition of xenia which is taken straight from a Princeton study guide from 2004) and slapped haphazardly into the comic where it's convenient, OR it's just vaguely referenced at even if it's not being properly utilized (like she saw 'Chiron, wise centaur' and went "yeah cool she can be the therapist character!"). I have zero explanation or even assumption as to why she'd turn Crocus, a male lover of Hermes, into Krokos the flower nymph, or why she'd choose to use Ampelus as the name Psyche adopts after being turned into a nymph (which also didn't happen in the original myth). These are "creative choices" that come across as less creative and more just random attempts to make her seem smart.
Like, to a surface level reader or someone who's new to the series, it might seem neat and subversive (it definitely did to me back when I started reading and fell in love with it), but then you actually get further in and peel back the layers and go, "wait, she's just grabbing Greek names that are affiliated with real Greek heroes and gods and characters at random-" and it gets especially ick when it commits queer erasure in the process.
Don't get me wrong, I think having fun with character designs and swapping them or changing them up is perfectly fine, that's the fun of re-interpreting old stories, it's not that on its own that's the issue. It's just that these re-interpreted characters have literally NOTHING to do with the characters that she's basing them on. At least in Punderworld where Charon is a woman, she's still a psychopomp who ferries souls to the Underworld, her being gender-bent doesn't change much because her character and role in the story is still largely the same. Or like in Hadestown how the Underworld is more of a coalmine with Hades running it as a business, instead of the River Styx being a literal river it's a brick wall that protects the Underworld from outsiders ("and they call it freedom"). In both of these examples, they're taking the source material and making it fun and new, while still respecting the source material they're taking it from and keeping it on theme with that source material.
By comparison, Rachel just creates these character references and that's where it ends, they're just references and they don't do anything new or interesting with them, they're not even adjacent to what they're referencing. So we wind up with Chiron being a therapist, Ampelus being the nymph version of Psyche, the Fates looking and acting the exact same as each other even though they had different roles to play between Past, Present, and Future, and Aphrodite's children who... are literally made up from scratch, instead of pulling from the actual real children that Aphrodite had loads of in the original myths.
So many of Rachel's writing choices feel like attempts to be "subversive" when they're not, they're just random. Nothing about the things she changes from the original source material does anything to further explore that source material, it's just yoinking things at random to try and seem more Greek while also further separating her work from legitimate Greek culture. Even when you THINK something is about to be retold in an interesting way, it's very promptly either swept under the rug or veered off in a whole other direction that makes zero sense for what it set up (ex. Echo, what the fuck happened to Echo-)
It's very "ideas first, structure never" writing, she comes up with standalone ideas that sound good in isolation, until she actually tries to execute them and connect them and you realize they have no through line or reason to exist the way they do. It's giving real hard "first draft" vibes, so much of what Rachel chose to do should have been left on the cutting room floor (meanwhile the things that supposedly did get left on the cutting room floor SHOULD HAVE BEEN KEPT IN THE COMIC, ex. Hera's coat prophecy, Hades and Persephone having a date in the Underworld where she decides she might want to go into law, etc.)
Ugh. This got longer than I intended it to. It's just frustrating. I have inspiration to write that essay about queer erasure in LO now, at least. So yeah, hold on tight for that one LMAO

Can you tell us more about the queer superhero Persephone retelling?
The ramblings. Hand them over.
Okay so there's one thing that's always bothered me about the various takes on the myth of Demeter, Hades and Persephone: none of them take any interest in how the actual ancient Greeks viewed Persephone. Which is a shame because they were fucking terrified of her.
I'm serious. Persephone was named the Iron Queen. She commanded the scary things in the Underworld, and if you pissed her off, she would send them after you. I've got this book [Penguin Book of Hell, iirc] that includes translations from some various myths, and the heroes of old freaked the hell out at the idea of her getting angry at them. She doesn't show up in half of these but the mere mention of her makes these strong men, ancient heroes, sweat bullets and run.
There's so much emphasis on Persephone as a victim. Whether it's a romantic telling or a story of an angry mother, Persephone doesn't have as much agency as she seems to in a lot of these stories. Which I understand - a helpless young woman in danger has been a compelling story for a long time.
But Persephone isn't a helpless victim - she is a victim but not helpless by any means. Whether by choice or through simple need to survive in her unfortunate situation, she became an absolute badass. And that's the story I want to tell, because there's so much potential in that. What are her motives? What is her reasoning? How did she become so feared? What does her story say about the ancient Greeks, how they viewed women, and death, in their society- and what does her story say about us in the present?
There's so much potential it makes me shake a little.
Now I know there's no sources on this post but that's because I need to take my meds. Let me dig around a little and I'll see what I can find to prove my thesis here. I'll make a post about the actual story I'm thinking of in a bit and link it here if anyone reblogs this

bearing witness to pjo fandom years before house of hades was released made the reveal that nico was gay so so much sweeter
because we were right
the whole time we were right, no matter if rick had actually intended nico to be gay since his first appearance, he made it canon anyway And confirmed at the same time that nico had a crush on percy
one of the most present ships i remember is percyxnico, and you can say what you want about that but at the time most of us were still kids ourselves, and we didnt have a lot of our own representation but then finally we Did and it was the first time i remember feeling satisfaction that something i projected, was correct this entire time whether it was preplanned by the author or not
i didnt even get to read house of hades until that christmas, but i remember the second it was out and someone got to that chapter, and posted a picture of it here on tumblr and it finally felt like we were being heard, and i dont mean in a oh cishet girls just Love gay relationships way i mean us closeted queer kids who loved that pairing because we saw something in it, whether it was right or not in hindsight
and on that note i am dreading the show being released and people daring to make the argument that nico isnt gay, especially because a lot of people love to make excuses or dont even want to Look at the source material for fear of "spoilers" or, in reality facts that have been out for what by that time will be more than 10 years
hell they did it with the last of us, even though that was just as explicit in the source material, but nico can even say he had a crush on percy and someone will doubt it
i just hope the series decides to show more of nico and his struggle with literally being a closeted gay kid from the 1940s with no family, in however many seasons they do, then we got to see in like 9 books since he first appeared

Scar from The Lion King (1994)
It's Fanon: He exhibits overtly dramatic and effeminate behavior throughout his appearance in his source material, in a way that fans have interpreted as queer in nature.
Controversial: Scar is considered the most iconic queer-coded Disney villain, having received both praise (in terms of community reclamation) and criticism (due to the homophobic nature of queer-coding villains) for the way he is depicted in the film.
VS
Hades from Hercules (1997)
It's Fanon: His movements are often dramatic and he expresses himself with a lot of sass, which some fans have interpreted as queer-coded.
Lack of Love Interest: Despite his origin, there is no depiction of Persephone within his source material.

I would prefer if LO was not about Greek mythology. It would be better to have inspiration from the hades and Persephone myth, but nothing else in common.
Like have all be new fictional characters instead. That would preferable in terms of not having to deal with inaccuracies with Greek elements and sources
Agreed, it would just.. make the story better because it removes the expectations from it being based on greek myth. it would still be bad but the negative aspects from the characters falling flat, or even things like having apollo be a stereotypical harassing straight man and thus removing the queer aspect from the original myths.

Menoitiades's Body
by FlaviaFulvia
But Atreus's son the fighting Menelaus marked it all- the Trojans killing Patroclus there in the brutal carnage- and crested now in his gleaming bronze gear Atrides plowed through the front to stand astride the body, braced like a mother cow lowing over a calf. her first-born, first labor-pangs she'd felt. So the red-haired captain bestrode Patroclus now. shielding his corpse with spear and round buckler, burning to kill off any man who met him face-to-face.
Patroclus of Opus did not live long, but his life was rich, full of love and laughter. That he be remembered for his death and only his death seems very unfair to Menelaus. He wants to remember his life, as hard as that is at Troy.

Jess' Queer Media Example: Ga(y)mes
Known as the ninth art, video games play an equally important role in reflecting society and politics as other works of art we know. In the article Not Gay as in Happy: Queer Resistance and Video Games, authors argue that queer video games and games with queerness content do not exist to please players or a certain group of people for pleasure, but as a radical rebellion.
In the game industry, game enterprises and independent games have many different differences, the former has a wider audience, has more resources and a platform for sales, and its game production is subject to more constraints and influence; while the latter is often in the limited resources to create works, the lack of corporate constraints allow these games to express what the production team wants to express more freely. The example I bring today is the game hades by Super Giant Game. hades are a roguelike action game, based on Greek mythology and the gods of Athens as a source of inspiration and story. The player takes the role of Zagreus, the son of Hades, who fights various opponents and bosses and his own father in order to escape from hell. It won the 79th Hugo Award for Best Video Game.
In Hades, there are not only direct expressions of queer content, but also many occurrences of queer significant. The former is easy to spot for almost all player groups, while the latter becomes a more obvious representation of identities in queer groups.
Queer Content- Zagreus + Thanatos + Megaera
The romantic relationship of male characters with male characters in the game and their multilateral romantic relationship with female characters is part of the queer culture. This is not only an expression of rebellion against tradition in sexual orientation, but also a rebellion against traditional two-person relationships in romantic relationships.
youtube
(1:53-2:22)

Queer signifies: Dionysus
Tumblr media
The NPC character in this game, although it does not indicate his direct sexual orientation, but many players, especially those who belong to the queer community can identify his body queer elements, such as wearing garter stockings, being flirty, androgynous (not explicitly stated, but can be speculated from the dialogue).
The cultural landscape of video games has become a more "diverse" place not because of the promise of the games themselves, but as a result of challenging norms that undermine dominant power structures (Ruberg & Phillips, 2018). Hades is very natural and ordinary in its presentation of queer content and elements, it is not a game that seems very radical and boasts its own queer attributes, but its queer content and many hints are diverse and rich. And it is considered a niche queerness while becoming the best game of the year in 2021, which represents the success of its rebellion.

Can I tell you what? I am so done with the Greek myths fad. I’m so bored of all of them. The “adaptations” are primarily “enemies to lovers, Hades and Persephone uwu”. The Classically-set retellings are poorly paced fragments and read like the dustiest, crustiest 19th-century translation for all they’re meant to be “feminist” or “queer”. None of them are weird. None of them examine the structures at play within ancient/classical literature and how this relates to current events or reinterpretations of themes. I don’t want to read how “actually, these sources are super feminist” - they’re not, but that doesn’t mean women aren’t important. “Queerness was fine!” - in certain circumstances, which you have failed to interpret and just gone with what queer acceptance means in 2024. I’m so bored, y’all?

My Practice
I'm an eclectic polytheist, but I'd also call myself a green witch because boy howdy are plants fucking cool! I love working with and appreciating nature in all sorts of ways. I like to spend my time hiking, foraging, and talking to the trees!
As for deities, I work primarily with the Hellenic + Norse pantheons. I've been a practicing witch for about 4 years now, and started deity work 2 years ago. However, I've been able to see and talk to ghosts since I was little, so I've always kinda had one leg in the spiritual world, even before I knew what to call myself.
I will say here that spirituality comes in all shapes and sizes. No singular practice looks identical to another, and that's what I think is most beautiful about it! If you haven't found your niche yet, please don't fret, friend. It took a lot of experimenting to find what I was actually interested in. Spirituality is a journey, not a destination!
Currently, I'm working with...
Hecate

Content
My main goal is for this to be a safe space! If you have a burning question, please ask me! Even if it seems silly!! My hope is that we can all learn and grow together :)
DNI if you're racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, ableist
If you're new to the witchy side of tumblr/the internet, I encourage you to question everything. It's really important to cross-reference, because depending on who you ask, the answer may be wildly different! Herbs and crystals often have multiple correspondences, and those are subject to change based on your source. So please, ask questions!! I will never get upset at a genuine ask, and I'm happy to share more about my perspective on things.
Content will typically look like:
-> Interacting with witchblr + paganblr
-> Herb + crystal correspondences
-> Deity content!! Like offerings, signs I notice, and stories about my experiences with them!
-> Simple spells, mainly low-energy and low-cost ones
-> Tarot reviews, spreads, and correspondences
-> Creative stuff like art, music, poetry, and nature-based crafts
I sincerely hope y'all enjoy and I can't wait to meet more folks on here!
Thanks for reading!!

All posts will be formatted as an image with the relevant quote/ context written in text below, and the book, chapter, and page number all documented
I don’t suggest you scroll through the blog, as sorted posts will be mixed with the un reblogged, unorganized posts (this is done so tags are not flooded, especially not riordanverse exclusive ones). Instead, use the search function of this blog for tags.
Posts will be semi chronological-depending on which books I am rereading, and how thorough I’m being at the time. Submissions are welcome, with hopefully at least some clue as to where they are from, as I am very much going to miss quite a few in my human error. Asks will be open for help finding a specific quote/general questions about the blog.
(I welcome suggested tags, as this is supposed to be not just for my purposes)
Disclaimer: this is only available to people I haven’t decided to block, so if you don’t meet that criteria, nothing personal, you were probably just wrong about something
I’ll do an about me later, if I actually follow through with this blog, and tagging system is under the cut

Iglesia navideña presenta bailarines strippers bailando
Tumblr media

"You want to know what death is? I'll tell you. Death is the loss of life. Despite everything doctors like me attempt... a patient's life can still fall through our fingers. You think death lies in the apex of science? Anyone with such little regard for life will die by my hand."

Character Analysis: Yosano Akiko
Age: 25 || Ability: Thou Shalt Not Die
BSD CHAPTER CHAPTER 65-66 SPOILERS
table of contents:
1. Author counterpart.
2. Yosano's history.
3. 'Angel of Death' defined.
4. Yosano and Atsushi.
YOSANO BRAINROT!*(#&!*@#($
1. Author counterpart.
Having been given the “Sho Ho” at birth, Yosano Akiko’s counterpart—the real-life author—was known for her zealous take on both feminism and pacifism.
Side note: Once again, to avoid confusion, I will use the name Sho Ho in reference to the real-life author, and Yosano in reference to the BSD character.
Sho Ho's writings were pretty much out-of-the-ordinary in her time, and despite being suppressed by the social norms of gender hierarchy, she sought to reform society’s view on the cultural perspectives of women and their sexuality (She expressed her love for a woman in one of her poems, but many still argued on whether she identified herself as queer or not.)
"Thou Shalt Not Die," Yosano's ability, is actually named after one of Sho Ho's most famous, controversial poems. She wrote it for her brother, who was a soldier in the war between Russia and Japan (1904-1905). In her poem, she expressed her general distaste for war and how her brother was a part of it.
O my young brother, I cry for you Don't you understand you must not die! You who were born the last of all Command a special store of parents' love
Would parents place a blade in children's hands
Teaching them to murder other men Teaching them to kill and then to die? Have you so learned and grown to twenty-four?
- excerpt from Sho Ho's poem, "Kimi Shinitamou Koto Nakare"
Her words were blunt enough to inflict guilt on her brother's conscience, as she wasn't afraid to express her disapproval over how her brother took part in the typical violent bloodshed and manslaughter of war. Such opinions perturbed the authorities, and her work was eventually banned from the public for a period of time. Later on, it was used as an anti-war statement.
2. Yosano's history.
Now, as for the character in BSD, Yosano is seen to be generally strong-willed, and later on, we see that she is terrifyingly compassionately ambitious in the way she treats her patients. She treasured life itself, and hated the thought of losing a patient.
Yosano had developed her relations with Mori Ougai back in the Great War, when she was just 11 years old. Her ability was a great benefactor in saving lives. Realistically speaking, she was used for her ability to heal injured soldiers and diminish the effect of any casualty acquired.
Initially, she wasn't aware of this, until one of her close friends pointed it out by subtly accusing Mori of manipulating her to participate in the War under the close-to false pretence of 'saving lives.'

As much as her ability did save lives, it also forced soldiers to return to the frontlines and suffer injuries over and over again. The soldiers were never given the opportunity to return to their families because of her ability. This obliged them to carry on in the war without any excuse, inserting them into a vicious cycle they had no escape out of.
Metaphorically speaking, Yosano's hatred for Mori sort of mirrors Sho Ho's disdain for war and fighting, don't you think? The way Kafka materialised Yosano's past was quite interesting because he used chapters 65 and 66 to explain Yosano's dislike for Mori, reflecting how Sho Ho used her poem to explain why she condemned the idea of war and how her brother was part of it.
Before the effect of her ability was fully understood, however, every soldier praised and thanked her for what an angel she was. One of the soldiers she had befriended and gotten close to even kept a tally of the number of times she had saved him. He was the one who gifted her the butterfly hairpin she wore all the time.
The weight of the truth that her ability was a curse rather than a blessing fully dawned on her when her soldier friend ultimately committed suicide, because the fact of being indefinitely trapped in the throes of war agonised him until his spirit gave out. This drove Yosano to loathe her ability, or rather, how it was used.

In the time she participated in the War, Yosano was given the alias 'angel of death' due to the control she retained over the battlefield, but I thought that perhaps Kafka had a reason behind giving her this title, so I did my research.
3. 'Angel of Death' defined.
Side note: I wouldn't want to disrespect any culture or religion, so if my citations are inaccurate and/or disrespectful, do feel free to correct me/let me know! I did research out of pure curiosity, and I don't intend to twist the significance of any of the interpretations.
I had to grow up learning about the basics of religious stuff, so it's kind of nice to study something out of the box, and very much against my father's rigid belief system :D
ARCHANGEL ARIEL
(archangel: an angel of higher rank)
I came across the few characteristics of angels/goddesses and their roles, and the one which really caught my attention was the female archangel, Ariel, the angel of nature.

In Hebrew, the name Ariel means 'altar' or 'lioness of God,' and her role is to heal. In addition to that, she is also recognised as a helper to another one of the seven main archangels, Raphael, whose role is to provide physical and emotional healing, too.
She is the protecter of the environment and the animals therein, and is bestowed with the duty to oversee the order of heavenly bodies as well as earth's natural resources. She assures the sustenance of food, water, shelter, and supplies of human beings, much like how a nurse is to a patient I suppose.
In relation to Yosano, I think this part is pretty self-explanatory, or perhaps this is blown out of proportion HA, so take this as a suggestion rather than a fact, because I'd like to believe that Kafka had a reason for giving Yosano a title as such.
In the past, I've come across the angel of death only to perceive it as a female grim reaper of some sort, so it was pretty cool to find that the word 'angel' and 'death' made up a title of a someone like Ariel, one of the purest forms of humility and compassion.
GREEK GODDESS PANAKEIA
For my beloved (wannabe/or not) students of Greek mythology (much like myself, let's make a cult!), you've probably heard of Panakeia, the goddess of healing. Medicine finds most of its vital significance in Greek history, and in its mythology, Panakeia is actually known for her ability to heal any kind of sickness.

Her name means 'panacea,' which is actually defined as a remedy for all diseases. Terminal diseases and injuries lead to death, right? This would bring us back to Yosano's ability to nullify any injury's effects on a person, keeping them from death itself.
Now, we know that in order for Yosano's ability to work, her patient, or victim, has to be in a near-death condition in order for her treatment to take effect. This can't exactly fit into the description of resurrection, but it can be described as some sort of rebirth.
GREEK GODDESS PERSEPHONE
So another goddess which reminds me of Sho Ho/Yosano, is Persephone, the goddess of spring and rebirth. Before Hades, the god of the underworld, fell in love with Persephone to take her to live with him, Persephone lived a happy life.
Hades, with his nature of darkness and the like, was captivated by how pure Persephone was, and stole her away from her former life to live in an environment which differed sharply from her natural aura of purity.

Remember when Yosano's friend left a note behind before he killed himself? The note said nothing except for, "You are too righteous." Take that as you will, but figuratively speaking, you could say Mori takes the role of Hades in the story, while Yosano can be portrayed as Persephone.
Sho Ho can also be a parallel of Persephone, in that she had to adapt to the realities of war and disharmony, while Persephone had to adapt to the raw darkness of the underworld with Hades.
Sho Ho stood against society's norms and decided to reform it, making her one of the most well-known feministic pacifist in history, while Persephone managed to escape from the underworld to return to her former position, earning the title the 'Bringer of Life,' or the 'Destroyer of Death.'
Furthermore, the way Sho Ho's anti-war poem took its effect later on, reflects the way Persephone restored balance in the world after returning from the underworld.
4. Yosano and Atsushi.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
chapter 66; Yosano: "It's my fault that those close to me died... Is there some place where it's okay for me to live?"
chapter 8; Atsushi: "If I have any chance of saving them all, of returning them home safely, would that mean it's okay for me to keep on living?"
I couldn't help but think of Dazai and Atsushi back when I was reading through these panels. Ranpo (my beloved), along with Fukuzawa, accepted Yosano as she was, despite how her ability was a cause of despair and misfortune.
Ranpo looked past her mistakes and the entirety of how dark her past was to welcome her into the Armed Detective Agency. Dazai, on the other hand, knew who Atsushi was and what his ability had made him do before anyone else, and still decided to provide a safe place for Atsushi to find his sense of belonging, journeying with him as he learned to use his ability properly.
For more info about Dazai and Atsushi's dynamic, you can check out the analysis I did for Dazai :D
Atsushi desired to save people to prove his right to live, while Yosano made her wish to achieve the recovery of all her patients the reason for her existence.
Others would prefer to accuse both Yosano and Atsushi of having a saviour complex, but the reason why they pursued to save people with utmost dedication, stems from the nature of what their past was like. You know the saying 'from broken to beautiful?' Yeah, it's something like that.
The way their pasts were written out gave them a desire to change, which was, I daresay, initiated by the people who took them in: Ranpo and Dazai. Their abilities were demonised because of how they were used, but once they broke from their abilities' effect over their lives, they honed their skills to control them for the right cause instead.
In a less cynical point of view, I believe both Yosano and Atsushi stood for what was right, and wanted nothing but to achieve peace and harmony in whatever way they could, even if it meant risking their own lives to save others.

So yeah, that's it for my rants today. Thank you for reading, and if you have anything to add, go ahead! I'm open to discussions ;)
