i’m opening the box but WITH A THEME:

post-covid came out one year ago at midnight on Thanksgiving. tell me how your initial viewing of it ruined the holiday affected you.

i decided to watch it with a paramount plus free trial at midnight, stupidly assuming “well it’s an hour long so i can still go to bed at 1am, which isn’t too late to stay up” but then i could only watch it a few minutes at a time and then i couldn’t sleep after it was over so i couldn’t go to bed until more like 4am. and also i found it inexplicably very upsetting (emphasis on inexplicably) so i spent thanksgiving not only sleep-deprived but going through every stage of mourning before ultimately becoming OK again

i will post confessions following this theme straight from the ask box without making them into images. if i get other confessions that don’t follow the theme while it’s open, those will get made into images and posted at a later date
