As I continue to grow as a creative entrepreneur, one of my greatest goals is to be able to pay other entrepreneurs their price. I am in a number of circles with many great artists and business owners and Lord, it is my heart's desire to pay them their asking price without flinching. Not only will this increase my ability to be a blessing to others, but I want people to stop offering to pay me with "exposure" and "experience" so, I'm determined to pay people with the same thing I need to pay these bills: Money. Amen? Amen. #Seed #DoItLord #HarvestTime #SowingAndReaping https://www.instagram.com/p/B4urqDLnDSQ/?igshid=f2ikfbneanr4

#38  2 Corinthians 9:6-15
This passage of scripture under the direction of the Holy Spirit has come alive in my soul with a treasure of revelation, direction and truth for my life.  As the Holy Spirit directs, I would like to share this treasure with you.
Verse 6: “Now this I say, he who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully.“  Paul is writing to the church in Corinth concerning an offering, but he is including some imagery which Jesus used to reveal a deeper truth throughout the passage. Jesus used the words sow and reap in the parable of the sower, Mark 4:14, in which He said the sower sows the word.  In Proverbs 18:21 we read that “death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat its fruit.”   In James 4:2-11 we read that the tongue has the capacity to direct our lives in several different imageries whether defiling or blessing ourselves and those around us.   The words in verse 6 of the present passage are being sown sparingly or bountifully.  The importance of words is that we will reap what we sow whether they are life or death. Words are spirit.  They are like seeds.  And we reap what we sow.  So, Paul refers to words and is basically speaking to the amount and significance of the words we are sowing and the resulting harvest we will reap. Confession of truth is also a consideration here as the words sown bountifully will cause a bigger harvest of the truth being planted.  In verse 13 to follow here, the confession referred to is the gospel of the covenant we received from the cross.  Since the context of this passage is concerning an offering and we have a covenant of riches from the cross, sowing words of our financial covenant are what we are to confess.
Verse 7: “Let each one do just as he has purposed in his heart; not grudgingly or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver.” Now we see that Paul is focusing on the attitude of the giver to the offering or the sowing of words.  Here he links the action to the purpose in the heart.   I like to give to charitable groups. However, after I have started giving to a few, I have noticed that all of the organizations in the country are sending me requests through the mail every day.  I began to notice that the huge amount of mail had an adverse effect on my attitude.  I began to feel begrudging.  So, I discussed that with the Lord and changed my attitude and did some warfare to get out any spirits associated with that feeling.  Then I went back to my usual routine of asking God about each request I received.  Since my desire is for God’s will to be done at all times, I asked if I was to give or not and did what He said to do. I have purposed in my heart to be a cheerful giver.   There is no fear in giving because we are rich through Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross. In God there is no lack!
Verse 8: “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.”  God being able to make grace abound to us is not selective from Him.  It is about us receiving that grace which after rebirth has become a teacher of how to live sensibly, righteously and godly in this present age from Titus 2:11 &12.  If we can receive that grace and be taught to live in sufficiency in everything, we will experience an abundance for every good deed. Sufficiency is to prosper or be blessed.  It is linked to contentment which is incorrectly defined as accepting your lot in life and being satisfied where you are and with what you have.  Instead it means to erect a barrier or to ward off as in a thief, poverty, lack or unbelief.  God wants us blessed financially.  That’s why one third of the benefits from the cross is wealth.  When we learn what grace teaches we will have all sufficiency in everything.  And we will have an abundance for every good deed.  This truth applies to every Christian.  It is a benefit from the cross.  Our financial needs are provided already.  Every good deed can range from the giving we do to charities or the Minister who leads a church or another organization, or to someone standing on the street or in an aisle in WalMart.  We can be led to give anytime and anywhere.  God has provided for each Christian in the same way.  Tithes are gone, obsolete, as is the Old Covenant. Offerings are the way to support the churches and their pastors now.  Preachers and pastors have the same covenant that we do as church members.  Very often pastors have the mindset that they would have to give up everything to follow Jesus.  This is a poverty mindset. They wonder how they would support their families. And most churches are still practicing the tithe.  The tithe has been done away by the cross. We are now under a new covenant which provides for our financial provision in an abundance from God.  He says we are rich so we are.  In 1 Corinthians 9:11-14 Paul writes that it if the preacher sows spiritual things in us, that it is right for the preacher to receive material things from us.  Then in verse 14 he states that those who proclaim the gospel are directed by the Lord to get their living from the gospel.  The gospel is the covenant which we are to confess.  It is the good news of the cross with benefits for us from God through Jesus.  Preachers are to receive their covenant for funding their lives just as everyone else is to do.  Our confessions of the gospel are verbal and also actions.  Faith without works is dead.  We speak forth the gospel that we are rich.  We give offerings as the Lord leads from our abundance.   I did ask the Lord about giving to charities one time as we went through my personal mail requests.  I asked about the abundance for every good deed and He said they were not all good deeds. Not every charity was from Him.  In all our giving we are to ask the Lord and do what He says.
Verse 9: “as it is written, He scattered abroad, He gave to the poor, His righteousness abides forever.”  Jesus fulfilled this prophecy through his ministry as He gave financially to those whom the Father directed Him.  We are to do the same thing. When I give to the charities that is what I am doing.  Jesus gave not only financially, but He ministered healing and deliverance to all who needed them. We are to follow His example in our ministries as well.  Our righteousness abides forever just as His does.
Verse 10: “Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.”  God is supplying the words which we are to sow along with the finances we are to give.  He also provides the bread for our food.  Jesus was the bread of life and the living bread that came down out of heaven.  He told the disciples that “if anyone eats of this bread, he shall live forever.”  The words which Jesus spoke are our spiritual food.  In Ecclesiastes 11:1 we are told “Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days.”  When we sow seeds or words and cast our bread upon the waters, there will be a benefit or return on what we have sent forth verbally.  Our confession has a result and harvest.   This harvest has been promised and is a harvest which will increase as a result of our righteousness by God’s hand. He supplies and multiplies our harvest. God multiplies the effect of our confession.  It will be reality here on earth.
Verse 11: “you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.”  God is blessing our sowing and increasing the harvest of our righteousness.  He is enriching us in everything.  Why? For all liberality. We will be able to cheerfully give, liberally give, generously minister as He leads, and through us that will produce thanksgiving to God!
Verse 12: “For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints (holy ones), but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God.”  Through our ministry funded by the covenant benefit from the cross, all needs are fully supplied for all Christians. There is no lack for us and for those who receive our ministry! They are overflowing in thanks to God. Overflowing with thanks to God is a powerful expression of the understanding of God’s love and provision through that love!
Verse 13: “Because of the proof given by this ministry they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all.”  Proof given by our ministries is what the people see and experience upholding our belief in what we have been confessing with our mouths.  Confession of the truth has its root in covenant knowledge.  We are righteous and holy as God is righteous and holy which is the first benefit from the cross.  We were already healed through Jesus and His wounds suffered at the cross.  We have been made rich because Jesus gave up His wealth on the earth and took poverty as evidenced through the grace shown at the cross.  This is the covenant we have been given through the cross.  It is complete for our lives here on earth and our transition to heaven when we leave earth.  God has seen to every need we might have here on earth.  As believers we receive the benefits and share them freely as God directs us.  There is no lack.  We give liberally.  Those receiving our contributions glorify God for this proof.
Inherent in this verse is the understanding that the proof of our obedience to our confession of the gospel of Christ is that we are believing and living it in our own lives.  The gospel that we are confessing and living is righteousness, health, and riches. When others see that in our lives, they will glorify God.  Our example will help them to believe and receive also.  Included with the process of arriving at the proof ourselves will be the expulsion of every demon blocking us from receiving by the renewing of our minds through the power of the Holy Spirit and with the authority of the Name of Jesus.
Verse 14: “while they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you.”  Those receiving our contributions from our confessions and our ministries, are praying and yearning for us.  They have seen grace as a teacher manifesting in the way we confess and live our lives for God and are blessed by Him.
Verse 15: “Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift.” Grace teaches us to live sensibly, righteously and godly in this present age as seen in Titus 2:11 & 12.  We confess the knowledge of the covenant and believe what God has done for us. We renew our minds and rid ourselves of every demonic lie and stronghold.  Our confession emboldens us in our faith and believing the truth.  And we are strengthened to fight the enemy.  We receive the infilling by the Holy Spirit and allow rivers of living water to flow out of us for ministry to others.
As I have begun to confess this passage through the leading of the Holy Spirit, I have used my own name in each verse. Then I began to speak my family member’s names in each verse.  I am giving God my family each time for them to hear from God and receive the covenant benefits for their lives.  God has said when we give Him the authority He gave us through Jesus He listens and is there.  He will send people to get them saved if they are not.  He will go after them for us!  Praise God!

Evagelism is not determined or defined by the harvest of souls that you see, but the life of an evangelist is also about the seeds that you sow.

There is no permanent free ride in life. Everything you do or don’t do has it corresponding consequences. I am mindful of the fact that yes, bad things can happen even when all you do is good. But I am also certain that more good will come your way than bad if you sow a lot of good seeds consistently. Sow good ideas, good deeds, good karma and good manners. Implement on whatever you plan to do and have a clear conscience of integrity always and let God grant you increase in all you do. With all the restrictions and drama going on around the world, stay focused and be a light bearer, smile giver, hope raiser and destiny igniter spreading positivity.
