I’ve decided to make a fic recommendation post, based on the stuff I’ve been reading over the past couple years. Be aware, some of this stuff is DARK. The dove is very much dead, and occasionally so is the violated child’s corpse. Obviously none of the dark shit is condoned, and for me, reading and writing it helps me come to terms with my twisted and fucked up childhood/life (the way Grimm grips to Hornet, and everything about Amy even down to her name are wayyyy too real). TW for rape, child abuse, grooming… read the tags, guys. Please. Not all of these are so fucked up, but enough are that you should be warned.

I had never heard of Worm before reading this, and still haven’t read it. This one dives heavily into rape recovery and how such a betrayal can affect your relationships. Almost a year ago I went through sexual assault committed by someone literally named Amelia (what Amy is short for) who I was so close with we could’ve been siblings, and I was saved from her by someone many would consider a villain. Needless to say, this fic really connected with me

Is the story that got me shipping Enid x Wednesday (I’ll only ever accept Enid domme lol)

By virtue of it being an HP fic I’m worried about recommending it but @thistlecatfics’

Is a phenomenal (yet horribly fucked up) story that I all but consider canon (and consider a massive improvement to the actual books). Mind the tags, this one’s all about grooming. (Based on a quick search their blog the author is supportive of trans people)

Now that I have the mask mostly done (I’m waiting for a sunny day to seal it, and the led panel to arrive for the eyes) I went to look for the top I wanted to wear only to find the sweater fits a lot differently than it used to ;_;

So now I’m trying to choose the look I want to go with. I’m going to browse around some thrift stores so these might not be exactly what I go with but again any ideas would be helpful! This would mostly be for Halloween but maybe also a future comic con or something.

Uuuuhhhh.... I'm not even sure what would apply RP-wise or if I actually am doing this question right. But anyway;

I have no issues with kinks and smut. At all. I smut whenever I feel like it but sometimes the timeline is full with sexual prompts while you just want non-sexual interactions. Some people could say "Then don't RP on sundays!!" but hello? I'm most free on sundays.... Again it's no one's fault lol, just a sometimes-kinda thing.

-- American holidays I don't celebrate

It's just awkward but IDK anything about some. Halloween is trendy and I actually really like the aesthetics because sp00py things is kewl. However, it's not an official thing where I live. The region I live in is also not keen with Halloween. We have St. Maarten instead. Then St. Nicolas comes after.

-- Shipping for the sakes of having a ship rather than seeing a connection, chemistry, etc

I have been attacked for saying something like this once lol. Like, it's okay to ship/smut/whatever "mindlessly". It's VALID to be ship-centric. But it's also not a personal attack if someone wants a more serious and passionate ship sometimes.

I sometimes dig through old art and just really miss the serious shipping/mutual brainrot stuff. It's not a specific fandom thing, though.

When new episodes come out or a game... and you just know those new muses will just disappear after like a month.

-- SL groups

SL means storyline. I don't think this is much of a thing on Tumblr? But this is a fucking RP disease on Twitter/X. This is where all RP drama originates. SL's are an instant red flag to me. Those SL's also just tend to not live longer than a fucking month. The longest one I have seen was like... 3 month? I have never seen a finished story. It's usually just build up for clout and follows farming. These mfers are literally paying for X too to promote their shit. It's why I left X... I'm not going to roleplay with people that give money to E.lon M.usk or enable it. It's not okay to send money to a person who's openly anti-trans and pro-eugenics. It's like paying for J.K R.owling.
