The Cosmic Dragon. Males posses long, flowing, bioluminescent tail membranes that can mask out the stars. Primarily nocturnal, males will put on dazzling courtship displays in hopes of attracting a suitable female.

The Gladiator Drake is a dragon true to it’s name. With it’s vibrant red crest and body equipped with a striking whip, powerful pincers and a crushing bite this drake is a formidable foe. Males will battle for breeding rights every spring.

A somewhat recent digital painting of a purple cosmic dragon as it flows amongst planets and stars. This was painted with a specific color palette to practice use of limited/specific color to build a scene.

I had fun with the more loose, swirly shape of this dragon's design, and seeing how the colors work together was really interesting.

[A silent watcher]

Of the many legends told by the spationauts of the Eternal Warden, the story of the dragons is the most famous. It says : there are beings in the void between the stars, older than the oldest planets in the star cluster. The spationaut who catches their gaze will see their deepest wishes come true. Many crews were lost searching for traces of the existence of these creatures, all in vain. Yet, when one finds themselves alone in space, one can't help but feel watched, by thousands upon thousands of unblinking eyes.

Versa Yuna

Something different here! This is no human or Kraizen/Vani, but a god!

There are actually several gods in the lore of the Forever Ocean, and this one is known as the Avatar of the Ocean; Versa Yuna. They represent the entirety of the physical world itself, and are in command of all of the lesser physical material gods.

You can learn more about them here, as well as all of the other gods! Everything's a wip still, but there's some information about their lesser gods (called Raumgeists) in their folder too. I've been on a mythology/pantheon worldbuilding kick to help fight stress.

Bonus icons:

Their galaxy-eye can be depicted with any symbol for their white pupil, any can even have the galaxy part be black- or even an image! Both their eye and chest can act like a TV screen.

i love this thing so much. the avatar of the universe itself is a playful being, not a malicious one!
