Astronauts that come back home are never really home, the soles of their feet met earths ground yet their boots are sprinkled with space dust: constantly floating they never really touched down and their hearts are laced with emptiness- like the vacuum of space. they long for whatever was out there- In the big solitude of the cosmos and their gazes constantly fixed on the moon and stars that they still float alongside. I believe famous astronauts like [Sally Ride] and [Neil Armstrong] left the very essence of their soul in space and in the vacuum of the unknown they sprinkled their humanity so that one day they may return to the place they felt ever so free in, ever so temporary and ever so human.

Everything in space is moving all the time.
You might feel like you’re sitting still, but you’re actually flying through space incredibly fast. That’s because the planet you are on called Earth is carrying you like a spaceship.
Earth is spinning. If you were standing on the equator, you and the spot under your feet would be rotating at a speed of about a thousand miles per hour. But Earth is also orbiting around the Sun, moving even faster: 67,000 miles per hour. And the Sun itself is moving around the center of our galaxy, carrying everything in the solar system with it, at a rate of 490,000 miles per hour. And that’s not all. Our galaxy, the Milky Way, is moving too at a rate of 872,405 miles per hour.
Our cluster of galaxies is moving too. And so is everything else in the universe.

I loved you. I loved you with all I had. And more. I loved you the way I wished I embraced my insecurities. I loved you to the extent that I shared my vulnerabilities with you. There is something about excessive love that they don't usually tell us. Perhaps they leave it up to us to discover. They don't tell us about love because maybe, just may be, they don't want to break our hearts before our loved ones break our hearts. But just so you know, they did tell me about love and warn me about heartbreaks and the heartache that it entails, but I still loved you. I wish I hadn't.

"Our way to colonize the universe is open, and we don't need fancy things defying known physics to do this. Einstein's relativity makes that perfectly possible. Let’s take Alpha Centauri, a little more than 4.3 light years away from us. If only we could accelerate a spaceship to, say, 0.8 the speed of light, the time dilation would really kick in. The journey would last more than five years, as measured by clocks on Earth, but only few months, as measured by clocks onboard the spaceship. And the journey will get shorter for the crew, the closer they get to the speed of light. A few months of flight is all the future astronauts will need."
-- John Ellis, CERN physicist

I turned my face to the twilight sky and sought out the constellations that the gods had etched across its great bowl; the shapes of mortals they had toyed with, picked out in pretty lights.

All things are meltable, and replaceable. Not at this moment, but soon enough, we are lambs and we are leaves, and we are stars, and the shining, mysterious pond water itself.
