Hi hi hi here's my TUA ask 🥰 Could you write something for a usually really bubbly and sweet reader dating Viktor who was hurt after the first fight with the Sparrows?

A/N: UGH HOW CAN I NOT WRITE THIS??? AH ITS SO CUTE. yes i will. i dont know the pronouns you’d prefer me to use. So ima go with Gender Neutral! :) Also, i forgot about ’the first fight’ part. so im deeply sorry but i changed it up a bit. If you dont like it just lmk!

After dating you. You being all happy and always looking at the bright side of everything, always being there for Viktor. Being on Harlans side as well as his. Viktor was very happy. He was leas anxious around you. You made him see colors again. You always responded to your texts. Always texted him too. So when you didn’t respond for a day, you can imagine how worried he got.

Viktor was pacing back and forth. He was a nervous wreck. He was also trying to comfort Alison, who was grieving her non existent daughter. Viktor was trying to keep it together. His mind rushing with thoughts. „What if their hurt?”, „What if their..” no, he didn’t wanna think about it. He would have never forgave himself if you had died a tragic way. After Sissy, if he lost you he’d have lost everything.

Alison looked at him. Knowing that he was worried, she sat up to face him. „Hey, whats wrong?", she raised an eyebrow as Viktor shot his head up. „Nothing, just worried about y/n.” He mumbled and then bit his „I haven’t seen them in a while..nor have i gotten a text back.” Viktor sat down on his bed and looked at his sister. „You can go look for them, you don’t need to baby me.” Alison said, she tried to give off a smile. Viktor mumbled a quick ’thank you.’

You had just got your ass whipped by the ’Sparrows’. They knew that you were in league with ‘The Umbrellas’ as they called them. You kept saying that you don’t have Marcus. They didn’t buy that one. Ben being the meanest, he had punched you a couple of times. Sloane, let you escape. Babbling apologies and looking at you with guilt and pity. You shrugged it off and smiled. Closing the gate behind you.

You made it to the hotel finally. stumbling in. Viktor was just about to walk out to look for you. His eyes widened at the sight of you. Bloodied lips and nose. your shoulders have new bruises and a couple cuts. Viktor couldn’t believe that you could be smiling right now. He grabbed your hand and hurried you to the mens bathroom. Making sure no one was inside he asked you to sit on the sinks.

You of course obliged and he went and got some first aid. He got some spray to disinfect the wound and looked at you. „This may sting a bit sweetheart.” He mumbled and looked at you. He sprayed it onto some open wounds and you grimaced at the sting.

You could tell that poor Viktor felt bad bout hurting you. He was silent. His mind was racing with regret and guilt. He couldn’t help but just look at you and frown. ”I promise i wont let you get hurt again.” He said and he put his hand on your cheek lightly. “Who did this to you?”, he asked. once he found out it was the Sparrows, he was mad, and a bit betrayed. He had just talked with Marcus? Why would he hurt his partner?

“Its okay.”, you grin and look at him. You kissed his hand and he instantly felt butterflies. He gives you his awkward crooked grin and you giggle. You hop off the sink and then walked back to your room. Alison no where to be found. Viktor sat on the bed, you sat right next to him. He was still a bit awkward with his touches, but he laid down, and you did too. He embraced you and smiled.

He kissed your head and you smiled. ”I love you.”, you say and he smiled and sighed happily. ”I love you too.”

Andal Brask was the former Hunter Vanguard, before Cayde-6. He was revived by one of the Ghosts following Micah-10, and immediately afterwards journeyed to the Last City across the Pacific Ocean. During the early City Age, Andal was among those who assisted in the Faction Accords. He served as a mentor to Anastasia Bray in the ways of being a Hunter; he also knew Eris Morn before she descended into the Hellmouth. He's been friends with Cayde-6 and Shiro-4. He was killed by Taniks. Long story to tell.

Marcus Ren is a Hunter who became a legend in the Cosmodrome due to his skill in the Sparrow Racing League. He's also creator of the Fr0st-EE5 and St0mp-EE5. Marcus was also part of several fireteams of Guardians deployed to the Cosmodrome in the aftermath of the SIVA Crisis. Also I believe that "Don't notch your cloak for every bounty. You'll run out of cloak." was said to Shaw, no reason, just funny.

i’m sure these have been done before but just out of curiosity cuz i think its fun to hear, i want y’all to rb this or reply to it and put in some of your guardians/OCs headcanons or fun facts for them and maybe why they have them or how you came up with them!!

as many or as few as you want, all answers are welcome i just really want to hear what other people have come up for their god slaying cryptids! (tags are also absolutely welcome if you wish to not add to the post itself)

i’ll start with my hunter:

speaks very rarely instead preferring to communicate via text that his ghost sends to the fireteam. is often thought to be mute due to this but actually isn’t as he has spoken to his clanmates a few times.

before they became guardians all of my friends’ characters and mine knew each other and then by happenstance met again and made a clan once they became guardians. knows its them due to a group picture one of them had on their body.

listens to a lot of fast paced and energetic music (mainly various types of electronic music and punk) during missions because it helps him focus

has a handful mission recordings floating somewhere in the vanguard archives from the pre red war era that were once used as demonstrations or guardian training tapes

huge SRL fan who used to race in the league often, will still occasionally visit the old tracks to run a lap or two. is also always looking for new ways to optimize sparrow routes during missions and patrols.

i’ll do my best to check what everyone writes!!

1. NEW SEASON

- Champions League is back!

- Champions League is a seasonal mode that opens Thursday 4:00 PM (GMT+9) the first and third weeks of a season, where you run in 3 arenas and compete against other runners.

- In Hydrangea Season 1, the first season, the following applies.

- Season 1 begins with the update.

- The Congratulate section features the Top 3 runners from the final season of the previous Champions League.

- The Congratulation Rewards for Season 1 default to the basic rewards. (Starting with Season 2, the Top 3 runners choose the rewards.)

2. GRAND CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

- Grand Champions League Invitations are now available as rewards from Champions League.

- Previously only runners who finished Top 10% of Champions League were able to obtain invitations, but starting this season all runners within the Top 20% are eligible for invitations.

- Participating in the Grand Champions League without an invitation instead requires 10,000 Crystals.

- The Grand Champions League schedule will be released at a later date.

ooo i have 2 for k!!!

first is kayfabe, my hunter hegemony's sparrow racing league rival turned partner - xe's mostly part of hedge's backstory and i havent done too much work on her on her own unfortuantely. xe died in a leviathan raid gone wrong - nothing particularly dramatic, just the sort of thing that i imagine happens in universe to raid teams sometimes. hedge wasn't part of that raid team (again, not for a particular reason, he and kayfabe were just doing different stuff by chance) and the sort of feeling of powerlessness and not being able to change anything is what drives him to start using stasis.

second is kadla, one of my star wars clone ocs!! she's the cmo + sargent of the 212th's medical squad (most people just call her sarge actually, but her real name is kadla so it counts) and has quiiiiiiite a bit of baggage from the tough decisions and pressure that comes with that job. she takes a lot of responsibility on herself to shield the rest of her squad, and is the type of person who keeps everyone she loves at a bit of a distance, so she comes off as fairly reserved, but she cares very very deeply about her squad. she also is the type thats like 'i can work within this horrible system (the gar) to make other clones lives better!' even though that absolutely will not work. deeply tragic character. i love her. also cody's batchmate + tennis enthusiast + the gar's number one provider of illicit hrt hgdkjsag

ANDAL BRASK.

aliases: vanguard codenames, mission codenames-- does he really need to recite every single one? gender: male; he/him. sexuality: bisexual, biromantic, all around demi. very heavy masc lean. species: human. class: hunter.

summary: washing up from the pacific ocean after originally being found by micah-10, andal brask was first resurrected while the first hunter vanguard, tallulah fairwind, was still active. he clicked the most with the void, eventually being taught the ropes by a begrudging tevis larsen.

immediately it was clear that andal wasn’t like most other hunters; not too dissimilar to tallulah, he has the ability and charisma to be able to rally his fellow hunters and unite them, which made him very suited to the position of defacto pack leader of the group of hunters that began to amass around him. later, this applied very effectively to his position as hunter vanguard.

andal brask is a kind soul, always on the lookout for others and brightening the room with his smile. he still indulges in trouble when dragged into it with his pack, but the difference is he goes in with a plan rather than winging the entire thing and seeing how things play out. he is resourceful, an all-round adaptable and smart guy. as charming as they come.

appearance: based off of his concept art, as well as his comic appearance and sylenth-l’s portrayal. andal has long, brown hair, often tied up in a ponytail or a bun if he is out in the field, as well as hazel brown eyes. he has neatly trimmed facial hair.

andal stands at 5′9″ with a more athletic build, and his armour consists of a similar brown leather look that most Hunters sport, as well as a very familiar vermilion-striped cloak and green-brown scarf, worn by cayde-6 after andal’s death. 

verses & aus:

destabilising rounds // andal brask his main verse. follows the events of canon that we know for him, with some headcanon stuff to fill in the blanks.

alacrity // andal lives au there’s multiple different ideas i have for this. first scenario: andal survives taniks’ attack, but loses his ghost. he is found by the pack immediately, rescued, and comes out relatively unharmed physically, but now he has to grapple with the loss of his light and his friend.

second scenario: andal does not survive taniks, but his ghost is only injured, deactivated for years, potentially even decades, while his body is left abandoned, tossed into the ocean for good measure. eventually, another lightbearer finds and reactivates his ghost, who then seeks out her guardian, and the amount of time that has passed causes issues when she tries to resurrect him, as do the multiple deaths he has trying to reach the surface of the water. particularly, his memory is a little skewed.

third scenario: roleswap with cayde. cayde loses the dare and becomes vanguard, only to fall victim to taniks, where andal then assumes his duties (duties that he’s already been helping out with because he feels bad about cayde being stuck in the tower).

shot swap // lightswap andal is a mechanic, particularly interested in repairing sparrows for the underground races that have popped up since the discontinuing of official vanguard-supported srl leagues. and, y’know, maybe falls for a particular racer...

New Destiny 2 Lightfall Sparrow Has a Message From a Familiar Face

Astute players in the well-known FPS game Destiny 2 have noticed that a message in Morse code contained in a Lightfall sparrow lore entry appears to be from a familiar Character. The character also appears in the most recent story mission of the game. The Morse-coded message on the Inside Line exotic sparrow lore tab translates to “STILL ALIVE INSIDE NETWORK IDIOT KIDS.” Although the game doesn’t expressly tell players who shared the message, the wording is reminiscent of a character who has been MIA for over two years. Though new players may be unfamiliar with the grumpy researcher Asher Mir, veteran players were happy to hear of his possible return to the space game. The message reflects something Asher would say, and his last known whereabouts before Lightfall were to the effect of being submerged in a body of Vex radiolarian fluid just before Io and several other celestial bodies disappeared from the game. Further, Asher has previously been known to communicate in Morse code. The implication is that Asher, whose arm turned to that of a Vex after being captured by Vex enemies long ago, has survived within the Vex network. This network could be likened to a metaverse in that he may exist as an avatar or in a space between technology and the real world. The Vex themselves are living beings, despite also being robotic in form. Asher’s form also appears in the new Partition: Hard Reset mission, part of a slew of new activities and quests in the Season of Defiance. It’s unclear what role he will play in the seasonal storyline, but players have shared their excitement in seeing Asher’s likeness again. Players can earn the Inside Line exotic sparrow as part of the game’s season 20 pass rewards. Notably, the mission also contains areas in which players should use their sparrows, which has led to some players calling for the return of the Sparrow Racing League. An event activity from the original Destiny game, the Sparrow Racing League involved Guardians taking one another on in sparrow races and was a beloved activity among players. “First of all, it may be old, but this baby’s anything but jank. Secondly, that’s precisely the point: when I win riding this, it’ll be a spectacle. We’ll get Guardians checking out the race from sheer curiosity, and the more eyes we get on the races, the more Guardians sign on to become racers.”

“Lot of assumptions in this plan of yours.”

“Maybe just assumptions to you, but to me, it’s faith.”

“Faith you can pull off your win?”

Enoch Bast is a Titan who is friends with Marcus Ren and a member of the Sparrow Racing League.

Jolyon Till is the most trusted Crow of Queen Mara Sov and was once Prince Uldren Sov's closest friend and companion. Their relationship fell apart after an expedition into the Black Garden. Jolyon would continue to serve the Reef during the Wolf Rebellion and against the Taken curse afflicting the Dreaming City, although the loss of Uldren affected him deeply.
