Character Summary:

I was going to have him be an Elder in the first arc, but now I plan to have Leopardfoot replace him in the elder's den... sorry Sparrow :P

Sparrow passed before the beginning of the first arc, he was Fogtalon's best friend and they chose to have kits together as they both wanted them. Birdflight was raised more so by Fog and her mate Leopard though!

i thinka lot about that one scene from bluestars prophecy when after moonflowers death, bluepaw is sitting and watching all the other apprentices play and train and she just wonders to herself "why arent they upset too? why arent i happy??" a lot. It's such a real depiction of greif and depression that rlly got to me as a child growing up with depression and god i love bluestar

but anyways the style on this is inspired by louis wain in color and general expressions and it was a lot of fun

Squirrelwhisker’s family tree rewrite! Only going up to into the wild.

Changes to the family tree!!

- Squirrelwhisker and Eaglestorm now have two kits, Windflight and Harepounce. (cause u know hares are normally in windclan)

- Harepounce and Rainfur are mates, Windflight is a donor to Rainfur. Tawnyspots and One-eye are their first litter, Dappletail and Thrushpelt are their second.

- Dappletail has a short lived relationship with Stormtail and unfortunately Featherkit and Cricketkit die as kits.

- One-eye and Halftail are still mates, Mousefur and Runningwind their first litter, and Sandstorm the Baby of the Family tm

My personal headcanon is that Cherrytail and Sparrowpelt are the reincarnations of Cloudstar & Birdflight’s kits, Gorseclaw and Spottedpelt.

It follows a similar logic that Cinderpelt’s reincarnation as Cinderheart did. Both siblings were robbed of their SkyClan identity and had to watch their Clan and culture die out as kits. They had to watch both their Clanmates and fellow Clan cats eventually either forget of SkyClan’s existence or flat-out lie to the next generation with the claim that the forest has only ever had four Clans. Their reincarnation would mean they finally got the chance to live their lives as SkyClan cats.

In addition:

- Sparrowpelt & Cherrytail are siblings as Gorseclaw & Spottedpelt were.

- Gorseclaw looks like Sparrowpelt & Cherrytail looks like Spottedpelt.

It’s a nice thing to think about. But considering the fact that in their brief appearance, Gorseclaw and Spottedpelt seemed content w/ their presence in StarClan, it may not work out for them.

Even if canon contradicts a little it’s still a fantastic au idea.

Maybe for headcanon territory they could have either separated from Sparrow And Cherry at that point after seeing their birth clan fully reform, or maybe because it was a special occasion they left their bodies for a bit before going back (consciously remembering nothing)

Sparrowpelt (aka. Halftail)! he’s just a scruffy old guy. 

I decided that in RoC his name is never changed to Halftail since that’s just mean. 

I do like the idea that he and Fogtalon (One-eye) are a power couple and were powerful warriors in their prime :)

Now they are simply old people being lazy grandparents.

The first family tree is Sandstorm's, up to Into The Wild. She is 7 moons old when the first book begins.

Changes under the cut

I've changed basically the whole tree, since Sandstorm has no known family in the books.

-she is now the only sibling of Dustpelt, i always thought they were siblings when i read the books, so i'm sticking with it

-Runningwind & Redtail are, unsurprisingly, her fathers. She and Dust were adopted, likely found under a bush somewhere.

-the tortie twins are no longer the siblings of Patchpelt, Leopardfoot, and Willowpelt. They are now identical twin siblings who were adopted by the recently kitless queen, Cloudspeckle (OC).

-Spottedleaf's suffix has changed, as she's not a medicine cat. Her name is now in honor of her mother, who is dead by ITW.

-Mousefur and Runningwind's side hasnt changed genetically, save for their adopted baby brother, Longtail.

-what has changed, however, is One-eye and Halftail's names being erased. Their now back to their original warrior names, because it was a weird ass choice in the books.

-as for the generation below them, you'll see sand's kits at some point, but dustpelt will not have any.
