So I'm gonna talk about it in the tags. #I mapped all the major sects to hallownest clans and drew *way* more than just the characters shown here #More pertinently not shown are the Nies - Who are beetles! #The mantis clan has a lot of crossover with the Nies given the lore but I Love Mantis Wangji and you cant take him away from me. #wwx was a moth solely for his ties to Baoshen sanren (nearly forgotten sect & nearly forgotten clan) #but (HOLLOW KNIGHT SPOILERS) the ties to her radiance and the infection made for some very fun parallels #YLLZ moth 100% is puppeting husks around #JGS is a pale king expy becuase...you know....lots of children... #it also gives me a great excuse to explain wwx's soul taking mxy's body. #Still have lots and lots to say but I'm already running late! More funny - less specific to a very small population - comics to morrow! #This was more or less a style study and I learned a lot! #Thank you all for an awesome 6 months B*) You guys have pushed my way more out of my shell (pun intented) than I would- #-have ever gone had I just hidden away like I usually do. had a really incredible moment this evening. went to my campus art market where one of my friends was selling the tank top i'm wearing - another friend bought it for me and i'm so overjoyed to have it. usually a fit that leans more Traditionally Masculine feels like a costume but tonight it just felt deeply correct and honest and warm. took the opportunity to take some indulgent little pictures because i do not think i have Ever looked more like myself. so happy.

#to preface I fully believe that I’m seeing a parallel that absolutely doesn’t exist here 😂😂 #but after reading the myth of creation of Japan yesterday I noticed an interesting parallel with Madara and Obito in the cage #in the myth there are 3 realms that exist in the universe #plane of high heaven (Takama ga Hara)/ plane of central land of reeds (Ashihara no Naka tsu kuni or the earth pretty much 😂😂)/plane of #underworld (Yomi tsu kuni) #and there are gods for each plane (Ama tsu Kami for heaven/ Kuni tsu Kami for earth/ Yomi tsu Kami for underworld) #now since Shintō emphasizes purity then all beings locked in Yomi should never leave and cross to other planes as they are considered impure #the only way to access the underworld is through caves or death itself and the interesting thing here is that a sacred BOULDER!! blocks the #entrance to Yomi from these caves #Izanagi blocks the entrance with a boulder after fleeing from Yomi #This reminds me so much of Madara blocking the entrance of his cave with a boulder after locking Obito inside with him so he’s death?? #in a sense #also another interesting detail is that Madara is cheating death and he’s also referring to himself as a “ghost” #metaphorically speaking it’s almost like Madara in the cave is a transient place or a bridge between the land of living (outside the cave) #and land of dead or Yomi #he’s cheating the natural order of the universe in Japanese mythology #go babygirl #Also Yomi is considered the land of ghosts so it’s very interesting that Madara refers to himself as a “ghost” of the Uchiha #also last thing to add that in some stories ghosts are considered the souls of mistreated people #Madara was mistreated in a way by being excluded from politics due to Tobirama butting in and proposing elections to prevent him from #becoming hokage #but this is just conjecture on my part 😂

I’m finally watching bbh’s June 19th stream (day after Father’s Day) and he’s talking about removing everyone’s access to his base. I’ve seen people talking about how this could cause problems and lose him Forever and Bagerah’s trust but I think people - including Forever and Bagerah - are forgetting a crucial fact

Bbh is a single parent and has been from the start.

He has to be incredibly paranoid to keep Dapper safe. His paranoia is the only reason Dapper -and many of the other eggs - are still alive.

He can’t rely on other people to keep Dapper safe. He can’t tell Dapper to go live with another parent if his house is compromised. That’s why he has five different houses and keeps building more when too many people gain access.

I don’t think Forever or Bagerah have a right to complain about this considering they have 3/4 other parents/houses to keep their egg safe. They have a family structure that allows them a sense of safety that bbh has NEVER had.

Like yea, I understand why they would feel betrayed but from an objective pov, they have zero ground to stand on to protest because they have NO idea what bbh has gone through raising dapper alone, how could they? They have always had 3/4 other parents at their beck and call.

Trust doesn’t mean letting someone run rampantly through your house/safe space just because they feel entitled to it. Trust means having faith that if bbh is closing off his/Dapper’s house to you, he has a legitimate reason that doesn’t have anything to do with you personally.

Bbh has done so much for team friendship and taken down so many of his walls and boundaries for them that the fact THEY don’t have faith in him makes me sad. I trust team friendship and the q-ommunication smp to work everything out but I just hope Bagerah and Forever come to respect bbh’s boundaries a bit more :D
