This fucking program will confidently suggest that I change a three word phrase into a two word phrase that has absolutely nothing to do with the original sentence, and it can't automatically correct "adn" to "and"? It can't recognize that? "This word is potentially misspelled", really?
And we want to let AI write actual books and papers? The AI that isn't confident enough to autocorrect "adn"?

Sir- I'm Dyslexic
Me: *typing up a paper*
Dad: *looks over my shoulder* Wow. That's a lot of spelling errors.
Me: That's why spellcheck exists.
Dad: You need to learn to write without a spellcheck.
Me: *holds in years of rage to not get in trouble* It's just hard for me.
Dad: Life is hard. Get used to it.

Microsoft Word is making my Grinch fics appropriately red and green. It hates "Whos" so much, begging me to add an apostrophe or an e.
However, it not only recognizes "Grinch" as a word but autocorrects me if I forget to capitalize it. So we now know whose side MS Word is on.

YOU WON'T RECOGNISE WORDS FOR USING THE NON-AMERICAN SPELLING BUT YOU CAN RECOGNISE 'VERY STRANGE' IN DANISH IN A DOCUMENT THAT IS NOT AND HAS NEVER BEEN SET TO DANISH IN MY LANGUAGE SETTINGS?

Yes google docs, I do mean eye singular not plural. The character I’m writing has only one eye. Saying his eye looked distant is both grammatically and factually correct.
