my animals names are all really dumb lol. my sister thinks theyre hilarious though. my name is Bungus, my cat is Bingo, and my horse is Bongo. hold on lemme go look at the barn animals so i can list em. ok the cows are Cowsington, Scrunklina, Bathilda, & Dave (after techno, kinda). the goats are all named after cheese i have Feta Cheese, Parmesan, Mozzarella, and finally Cracker bc cheese and crackers. my single sheep is Lovejoy (heehoo) and my single pig is TBH (after the autism creature ..) the chickens are Obama, Goose, Wibbly III, and x_pogboy_x (after that one tommy video). the ducks are The Queen and The King. for no real reason and my two void chickens are Death and Ebony D Way (..hello my name is ebony darkness dementia raven way)

nothing in particular made me start playing I was just bored and my sister recommended it to me for the dozenth time so i was like sure ok ill try it. and now im here. help

umm some other stuf I thought the pigs were really ugly so im using a barnyard animal mod that makes all the barn animals really cute! i also have a mod that retextures the horse, and another one that adds a friendship mechanic to the horse. because when i got the horse i was really mad that i couldnt pet it. horses deserve pets. if you want the links to any of those i can hit you up! oh and one more mod that just adds some convenience stuff like daily luck and birthday icons, scarecrow/sprinkler ranges, calendar accessible from anywhere, etc

how i feel about this character:

I LOVE CAT i love him so so much. he's so funny and iconic and just. a pleasure to witness. it's always so fun to see what new outfits he wears in each episode hehe. im always a sucker for humanoid characters with animal traits as well, im kind of a furry/furry-adjacent so obv that aspect of him appeals to me too........ he was actually my favourite character for a while before he got beaten by rimmer and then by lister but he's still very dear to my heart

any/all the people i ship romantically with this character:

nobody! my personal headcanon for the cat is that he's aromantic so i don't ship him romantically with anyone, he's expressed multiple times that he gets confused or revolted by the idea of committed romantic relationships and i can't imagine that it would be something he'd derive happiness from. just my personal headcanon though ofc

my favourite non-romantic relationship for this character:

oh definitely his friendship with lister! i love love love how they can be partners in crime sometimes and how cat seems to have a weird kind of respect for lister (at least compared to how he feels abt rimmer lol). it's very very funny how lister is technically the god of cat's species and the whole reason why he's even alive in the first place and yet cat just Doesn't Care abt it. i love how in earlier seasons lister would treat cat more like a cat sometimes...... ik it's definitely not canon but i like to think that he still does cat stuff with him sometimes like getting him to chase laser pointers and string. i also think cat should snuggle up to lister sometimes and complain abt his smell the whole time but he also spends hours like that bc he enjoys it. imagining rimmer walking in one day to see lister playing video games with the cat just curled up on his lap and he immediately turns 180° and walks back out of the room LMAO

my unpopular opinion about this character:

call me a sap if you want but i do think he cares abt his friends. i think he loves and cares abt them deep down and idc what anyone says, even canon. if you've ever been friends with a real kitty you'll know that they can be extremely affectionate loving creatures, and although cat himself is pretty aloof i like to believe he has a loving side deep down. very deep down.

one thing i wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon:

i would love to see more of the other cats! also the whole thing of "coolness" being an expression of atheism in cats is so funny and i would have loved to see more of his fellow Cool Cats that don't follow "cloister's" teachings. i also would love to see him doing more cat-things in the modern series like he used to do back in the first two seasons especially, like playing with his food and scent marking by spraying perfume on everything and stuff like that. he doesn't do as much of that stuff as the show goes on and i miss it

I could seriously talk about the sims community for ages it’s genuinely one of the most unique gaming communities I know of because it’s primarily not made up of what we’d consider gamers- a very large amount of the sims audience plays only sims, because the sims is honestly so unique as a series being essentially a virtual dollhouse that allows you to do literally anything it appeals to completely different people than a lot of other games. it’s also got a much higher amount of female players, older players, and queer players than any series I’ve seen.

they’re so outside the typical hardcore gamer idea that the world and the industry has, but they’re also insanely dedicated. there’s coders basically making whole new games in it, content creators making gorgeous custom content that sets computers on fire, people using it to tell beautiful stories, people who make unique challenges, the community is endless in its dedication and sharing that with others. having thousands of hours in these games isn’t abnormal. you can find the most absurdly obscure trivia about these games incredibly easily because it’s all documented so well.

there’s also this insane level of dedication? like, spending hundreds of pounds to get every single expansion pack is normal. getting all the stuff packs isn’t something everyone does, but a lot of people do it. i’ve never seen a community so eager to spend hundreds on dlc before, and that’s because, at least in the past, it was legitimately worth the price. sims 1, 2, and 3 complete are masterpieces, especially with mods, and sims 4 has… issues (which I’m pretty sure are 100% execs faults, the devs seem to be genuinely trying their hardest) but it’s still got something that makes purchasing most of it worthwhile.

but ever since EA got their hands on sims, they’ve been basically trying to treat it like every other games franchise and failing horribly bc the sims community is so different to like fifa and madden. you could first see this with the store, which even the community eager to spend hundreds on dlc hated, because it was 99% cosmetics when there’s literally millions of free cosmetics downloadable online. even then, i saw people be genuinely appreciative with new neighbourhoods and gameplay stuff, though there was still lots of complaints.

but with the sims 4? god the execs do NOT know the community and they’re not going to try. first they tried to make it basically an mmo, which no one in the community wanted (this is why sims 4 feels like an always online multiplayer mobile game basically). then they had content cut that was iconic, they toned down the trademark cheeky humour the series always had to appeal to kids, they put so much focus on hip trendy things and product placement that just does NOT appeal to wine mums who want to build houses.

and I really do think the devs are trying and listening, but they’re being told to make things that the higher ups think will sell and not things they want, and what the higher ups think people will like is not what the sims community ever wants. and with rumours they’re trying to make sims 5 a multiplayer game too despite how that went with sims city and sims 4 i will die laughing if EA shoots themselves in the foot by alienating an entire group of customers who will happily pay hundreds by simply not even trying to appeal to them. i mean, the sims community will still be around even if that happens, the last mod for sims will be uploaded seconds before the stars burn out, so i wouldn’t mind.

Surprise | Doc Ock

Summary: You are at work six months after Otto had his nightmare, and while on break you get a very special visit from the criminal boyfriend you’re harboring, who decided to grow out his beard as to not be noticed by the public, and your coworkers become jealous at how good-looking he is.

A/N: Yes. I’m obsessed with bearded Otto. I think we were robbed not seeing him bare chested and bearded in NWH…definitely more bare chested bc come on that look is iconic. Also...how would y’all feel about the Single Word Series being on Wattpad w/ an OC I’ve made up? ;) Just a thought! Anyways! No warnings! Except mention of age gap. Only fluff! :)

6 MONTHS LATER

“Jim doesn’t do anything when I’m here. He doesn’t think to ask the kids if they’re hungry--as a parent, you should know that your kids need some dinner, right?” your coworker, Michelle was complaining about her nice but also oblivious husband. Katherine, your other coworker scoffs, “Tell me about it. Andrew gets my kids McDonalds--that’s a Friday treat for after school, like getting ice cream, and when I’m not home that’s his idea of dinner for them. Casey is a picky eater, and I’m trying to get him to lean away from the same foods he eats everyday.” Joss, your other, other coworker, pipes up, “I don’t have kids, but my boyfriend basically is like a baby without me.” You hear your three coworkers scoff, laugh and groan at the things their husbands and boyfriends do while you open your small plastic container of sliced peaches. You didn’t really like the hospital food, and when your break started, you weren’t as hungry as you should be. You were only three hours into your shift, evening coming soon, and you were slightly dreading eating the pasta that was going to be served. The hospital food wasn’t bad, but pasta was always a reoccurrence for dinner. It got old quickly. “How about yours?” you hear Michelle asked. You looked up from your peach container, a peach slice on your plastic fork as you looked across the table at your three coworkers. “Huh?” you asked. “You know, that boyfriend of yours we’ve never met,” Katherine smirked and raised a brow at you.

“Yeah,” Joss giggled. “You’ve been dating him for what? A few months now? And we haven’t met him yet?” “He might not even be real then!” Katherine cackled. You felt your cheeks grow warm, and immediately the women laughed. “Six months!” you said, being a good sport. “I’ve been dating him for six months--well, coming up on six months. And you don’t see him because I’m always here, and he’s always at home, so we like spending time together on my days off.” It sounded like a lie, like you didn’t want them to meet Otto, but it was true. Most of the time. Now that it’d been a few months since you found Otto in the harbor, everyone felt good about not having any interesting criminals running around New York climbing onto buildings or flying on machines. Now, Spider-Man was only working with robbed banks and criminals in driveaway cars. Which meant everyone forgot about Doc Ock, forgot about Otto Octavius. Everyone but you. Usually when you had a few days off, you would rest up one day, go out with Otto the next and then spend time with him in your apartment the next. Most of your off days were spent with Otto either curled up in bed or on the couch watching movies. And in the mornings on your off days, you both would make fun of J. Jonah Jameson trying to find anything to harp on Spider-Man for ever since his last villain, being your criminal boyfriend of the past six months, had disappeared. It was your first ever good relationship--and though it was half a year strong, you were happier than ever. However, dating your harboring criminal boyfriend came with a few cons, like not bragging too much about him to the point where your coworkers and friends wanted to meet him. However, this made everyone question if you even had a boyfriend, like now.

“What’s his name?” Katherine asked. “Oswalt?” You made a face at her, trying not to let your agitation show. “Otto,” you corrected. Michelle started being kind. “Awe, I love that. It’s cute!” “It sounds old.” Joss said. But then she saw your eyes move to her, to which she quickly added, “But cute!” Michelle was nearly the only coworker who could be genuinely nice, Katherine wasn’t exactly genuine, and Joss was a kiss-ass. Joss was also the closest to your age, maybe a year or two older, but she wanted to so badly be part of a group that gossiped and made her self-esteem grow, so she attached herself to the two middle-aged women she worked with and tried to match their “maturity.” You called it something else. Not a nice word, but one that fitted the three better than “mature.” You smiled at the thought of Otto. “It is such a cute name. Fits him too.” “I love it when people look like their name. I can’t imagine them as any other.” Michelle said. “Me too.” Joss agreed. As always. Katherine wanted to be included, and said your name before adding, “I notice you snack a lot on the fruit cups here. You know as nurses we have an employee discount.” You shrug as you munch on a peach. “Having spaghetti three days in a row when you work gets old. Especially when coworkers keep requesting it and you can’t stomach it anymore.” “But it’s a discount,” Joss tried jumping onto Katherine’s good side. But Michelle was being very genuine with you today. “Ugh! Tell me about it. You weren’t here last week, but I worked four days in a row, and for four days in a row it was Walking Tacos for the main meal. I hated it. So I did the next worst thing and ate a salad.” she cackled at the end, making you smile. Joss then gave into Michelle’s point, “Yeah, that’s annoying.”

You wanted to roll your eyes. Even though it’d been a while since high school, people still needed cliques and such to fit in anywhere. Even worse, they still talked and gossiped like it was high school. “So,” Katherine twisted the straw in her cup. “Back to this fake boyfriend--” “He’s not fake,” you smiled. This joke you could take, but what you couldn’t take was the annoying pushes for them to meet Otto. You wanted to show Otto off, tell your coworkers how he was better than their husbands and boyfriends in need of babysitting. However, there was one thing Otto had told you that he felt embarrassed about now that he was with you--this scared you, thinking he was saying that he was embarrassed to be with you, but he was more embarrassed about himself. “He’s. . .just a little shy,” you told the women with a shrug. “He’s an introvert, but I think we can all be either or, he just prefers to stay at home.” “So, you haven’t introduced him to anyone?” Joss asked. “Not even your parents? Friends?” You forced a chuckle, but it ultimately came out weak, “Don’t have parents, and my close friends are all scattered through the burrows.” “You haven’t even introduced him to your friends?” Katherine asked. “Really?” “Well,” you awkwardly shrugged. “He gets nervous. He’s a little insecure about one thing,” Even as you said it, six eyes went wide. Oh great, you thought, they’re hooked now. “Oh?” Katherine sat back and fiddled with her straw from her cup again. “And what’s that?” You hated yourself for letting it slip, but now they had to know, and you worried about the reaction they were going to give you. You parted your lips to speak, eyes looking away from theirs. The one thing that worried Otto about being with you was--

Someone spoke your name, someone who wasn’t the three women. The voice sounded curious, a little confused, and belonging to a man. A man you knew. You and the women turn towards the opening leading into the break room, and for a moment, no one was there, but then you saw him in the doorway. Him. Your mouth dropped into an open smile, eyes wide with awe.

Otto stood in the doorway, long black jacket over a black crewneck and blue jeans. When his eyes fell on your face the moment you both realized you were in the same room, he smiled. A lot of things about Otto changed in the last few months that you and Otto had started dating, growing closer. His hair grew darker and longer, gray streaks peaking through strands of hair, his brown eyes were brighter, his skin peachier and along with the gray streaks in his hair, he’d grown out a salt and pepper beard as well. In the beginning of letting it grow out, he said it would change his appearance just the slightest so he could go out more without fearing of anyone recognizing him. Well, no one had given him the slightest idea that he looked like the man with four metallic limbs, even when the actuators were hidden under a coat or jacket. You were worried about the summer coming up, as you had met Otto in the fall, and it was April now. The weather in New York was starting to warm up, and your boyfriend was still insecure about his four metal limbs sticking out from his back.

“Oh my God!” you laughed, standing up from the round table, approaching him with open arms. You hugged, feeling the metal part of the waistband against your stomach as Otto held you close. You didn’t mind it, as Otto gave great hugs anyway. “Wh-what are you doing here?” you asked. That’s when you notice the plastic bag in Otto’s hand as you let each other go from the hug. He held it up and handed it out to you. “It’s for you.” he said. “You were pretty clear on how you don’t like eating the dinner food here.” He chuckled as you punched him in the arm. “That’s exactly what we were talking about a second ago!” you gesture to your coworkers, whose faces were stuck in shocked expressions, eyeing Otto up and down. “Oh,” you turned back to Otto. “Guys, this is Otto, my boyfriend. Otto, these are my coworkers, Katherine, Michelle and Joss. We’re all on rounds for tonight.” Katherine moved her shocked expression away from you and Otto to Michelle next to her, while Joss was still staring wide-eyed at Otto with an open jaw. Michelle must’ve kicked her in the shin, because Michelle cleared her throat as Joss closed her mouth and shook her head. “It--it’s so nice to meet you,” Michelle smiled. She started twirling a long fly away in front of her ear. You looked from her to Katherine, who was looking Otto up and down in wide eyes. You weren’t sure what she was feeling, but you could see her swallowing hard. Otto stayed standing next to you, but gave the women a little wave. “S-So, what do you do, Otto?” Michelle asked, her tone becoming lighter, interested. Otto nervously chuckled, “I’m a physicist, I do projects dealing with nuclear fusion.” All three women stared and blinked at him before you laughed, “I don’t get it either. But I like it when he talks about it.”

You look up at Otto and put an arm around him, smiling. He does the same, looking down at you with a warm smile. “How did you two meet again?” Katherine asked, lips forming a smile but her eyes narrowing. “I was on an early morning jog when I met him down at the harbor,” you told them. That was true! “I was collecting odd objects that washed onto the shore,” Otto smiled. That was not true! But you both knew you couldn’t tell the true story--and that was pretty unfortunate in your eyes. Joss took Katherine’s lead and narrowed her eyes at the two of you, but mostly Otto. “You’re very. . .” she puckered her lips in search of the right word. “Tall.” you thought she nearly hissed it, but also, you didn’t care for Joss, so anything that came out from her mouth sounded weird. You saw her bright eyes move to the two other women, to which Katherine nodded and caught on. “Yes. . .tall.” she told Otto. You furrow your brows as another coworker you liked a hell of a lot more, Quincey, walked in from another doorway. She greeted you by name, and then in the same way Michelle was looking at Otto, her eyes grew wide and a smile fell on her face. “Hi,” she greeted Otto, then her eyes looked to you as if to say Is this him? You nodded with a smile at Quincey, who smirked. You only told Quincey about what Otto looked like, appearance and all--besides the actuators, of course. “Hello,” Otto smiled at Quincey. “You must be Otto!” she smiled, looking between you and him. “I’ve heard so much about you. So nice to put a name to a face--and a handsome one too.” Quincey winked at you, to which you playfully nudged Otto with your hips and smiled at him. Otto nervously chuckled, “Why thank you, though she makes me look better.” Otto looked down at you, and to his remark you slapped his arm again. “No I do not!” you laughed with him. “You are handsome damnit!” You, Otto, Quincey, and even Michelle laughed, though she laughed a little louder. That made Joss and Katherine eye her.

“So what is this not-so-mysterious-man-anymore doing here at the hospital?” Quincey asked as she grabbed herself a soda. You lift up the plastic bag and smile. “I’m not eating pasta again tonight!” Quincey cheered, making you and Otto laugh. “That’s so sweet of you to bring her dinner,” Michelle sweetly sighed to Otto. Otto shrugged. “Charity work.” That earned him another playful slap on the arm from you. “You’re done now. Bye.” you giggled, pushing him out of the doorway. Otto chuckled as he waved to all the other women inside, wishing them a goodbye. You and Otto walked a few feet away from the breakroom so you and him could have your own conversation.

“Thank you so much for this,” you told him. “I really appreciate it.” “I thought you’d enjoy a change since the last time you worked it was pasta again. Seems like I came at a good time.” he replied. You nodded. “You did. It was nice seeing someone not in scrubs or a patient dress for the first time today.” You and Otto laugh as he brings you in close for a hug, to which you get on your tip toes to kiss him. Short and sweet, but it put big smiles on your faces. “Your coworkers seem nice.” he told you. You nod but shrug. “Yeah. They’re nice enough. Quincey is my favorite though,” you whispered that last part, making Otto chuckle. “I hear her name a lot from your work stories. She seems lovely.” “She is,” you smile. “At least she wasn’t staring at me with open mouths.” Otto chuckled. “Yeah I’m not so sure what that was about, but I think Michelle has the hots for you.” you told him, then crossed your arms. “Don’t get any ideas now.” “The only idea I have is an escape plan in case she and I end up in the same room alone.” Otto remarked. You both laughed and hugged again, but this hug stuttered for a moment before Otto looked behind you, then went, “Hello, Joss!”

Turning around, you catch Joss’ blond hair dart back through the doorway. You turned to Otto, covering your mouth to keep from laughing. “What the hell?” you laugh. “So weird!” Otto chuckled and gave you a proper hug. “I’ll wait for you back at home, dear.” You smile and hold him a little tighter. “I’ll be counting down the minutes.” You both kissed one last time before you both parted, and you walked alone back into the breakroom. You heard whispers immediately die the moment you walked in. Quincey was still next to the sodas, behind the table of the three women.

“What?” you ask the three women at the table as you move to the fridge to put your dinner inside. “He clearly saw the way you all were looking at him--and me too, I saw. What’s on your guys’ minds?” Katherine looked shock at your words. “I’ve never seen this confrontational side of you before.” You shrug. “You guys are gawking and talking about my boyfriend--one that I really like and enjoy spending my time with, of course I’m going to confront you about him.” You cross your arms and look at the women. “So, what’s on everyone’s minds?” You tried not to smile seeing Quincey smile at your newfound confidence. Katherine and Joss looked to Michelle, who started giggling. You eyed Michelle, who began blushing. “He’s hot!” she exclaimed. You, her and Quincey started laughing, but Michelle had even more to say. “He’s so hot!” Katherine was the one to put an end to the laughter. “Isn’t that weird?” she asked. “I mean, how much older is he than you? That’s weird, right?” she looked around as if there was a larger audience in the breakroom. “I think so,” Joss shrugged, siding with Katherine.

You shrug. “I mean, he’s definitely out of my age range, but it’s not like I’m extremely young. I’m not fresh out of college.” “But you’re near my age, right?” Joss asked. “Right?” That didn’t help your case, but who cares? You certainly didn’t. Otto made you happy, and you were going to brag about it. “Yeah.” you shrugged. “I am. But he treats me right. He’s kind to me, he likes going out with me--” “He brought her dinner!” Quincey added. “Now, who’s boyfriend or husband has done that for them?” She mostly looked between Katherine and Joss, who looked away from her. “He’s a keeper!” Michelle nodded. “I don’t know what twist of fate brought you two together, and I love Jim, but I’m so jealous of you right now.” “And he’s a scientist!” Quincey stated, then looked at you and said, “You’re a sugar baby.” You cackled with her and Quincey, and then Joss joined. “That’s funny!” she said, but her kiss-ass smile faded when you gave her a look. “Well, we’re all jealous over your older, hotter, thinks about you all the time boyfriend--I need a man to think about what I’m eating for dinner!” Quincey laughed. “But anyways, I’m happy for you, as you know.”

You nod and smile at her before you check your watch. “Ugh,” you groan. “Gotta get back to my rounds. Bye, ladies.” Quincey approached you. “I’ll walk with you.” You smile. “I’d like that.” And you waved goodbye to the three women before you and Quincey walked out of the breakroom. When you both were far enough away so not even Joss could hear your conversation, Quincey snickered. “Girl, you have all those women in there wishing they had your man.” You laugh, “Michelle was eyeing him and twirling her hair.” “Hide him from her.” Quincey laughed. “And it doesn’t seem like it, but Katherine is so jealous you snagged Otto. She wants a rich old man to care for her like that.” You roll your eyes and laugh. “I don’t see him as old! I see him as a man who treats me right.” “As you should!” Quincey exclaimed. “He’s not exactly rich either.” you tell her. “I’m just happy to be with him.” “He feels the same way. I know it.” she winked. “Keep him, and don’t ever let him go.” “I plan to.” you smile.

I have a question for you, I see that requests are opened but tbh you don’t have to make headcanons for this I feel like it’s just a funny question. What embarassing stories or things do you think the characters would have? Like in a modern setting? Like embarassing things they have done or do? Like eren and levi, hell you can make them short like the music hc and add others! Up to you! Just thought it would be a funny scenario.

EREN: Do you want a list? Because this could go on for a while LMAOO. He does something embarrassing every two to three business hours, he’s so cringe fail it’s honestly kind of incredible. The worst part is though, is that he doesn’t even recognize how embarrassing he can be; hence why he continues to be a raging embarrassment in most public settings and an overall menace to society <2

Some of his most iconic moments include: locking his key inside his car and then breaking into his own car, only to realize that his key was in his pocket the whole time; boldly claiming that all the milk in the grocery store was expired and demanding compensation bc it said ‘best by MA 2021’ and he thought that meant march which would be bad since it was april, but it turns out MA was short for may; accidentally emailing his entire class when he meant to only respond to his professor; texting “good night, i love you baby” to his mom because he’d pinned their conversation at the top of his messages when he meant to text it to you. I’m gonna stop here for now because I cannot do this any longer.

LEVI: Spends 15 minutes looking for his phone, only to realize it’s in his hand; gets confused easily by new slang and the proper context to use it, so he uses it incorrectly and you’re like ‘whatdidhesaaaaaaay’; if he’s holding tea in one hand and another object in the other, he’ll lift the hand with the other object to his mouth instead of the tea by accident. He’s hard to embarrass though, so even when he does embarrassing things, he doesn’t feel embarrassed by them. He’s just kind of like, oh, well that’s life.

ARMIN: Gets very excited about things he is blatantly incorrect about but he looks so cute rambling it’s hard to correct him; pokes himself with his pens like 17845 times a day; they always mishear his name at Starbucks so he’s either standing there for 30 mins waiting for his drink when in reality they’ve already called it so it’s been sitting there on the counter, or he’ll hear a name he thinks they might have heard his name as and accidentally take somebody else’s drink.

MIKASA: Literally has no sense of direction and will walk for 10 minutes before realizing she’s going the wrong way; got stung by a jellyfish when she was little and had to pee on her leg to stop the burn; accidentally sat on and broke Armin’s reading glasses once and instead of telling him, she went all the way downtown to the special glasses repair place and stood in line for 3 hours waiting to get them fixed.

JEAN: Trips over thin air, but always plays it off in a cocky manner like “Oh, guess you could say I’m really falling for ya, huh--ow, fuck, not again,”; got a carrot stuck up his nose when he was a child and he had to go to the emergency room to get it removed; accidentally applied to a sorority because he didn’t realize sororities were for girls and frats were for boys (he lowkey got in tho).

HANGE: Too many to count, but also is not embarrassed by their embarrassing antics. The worst is that they probably connect their car bluetooth to their phone and once someone borrow their car and was returning it, and it connected to their phone audio which was playing some... questionable videos.

CONNIE: Zipper is never zipped; forgets to press ‘start’ on the microwave after putting in the time and comes back to realize his food hasn’t been heated up yet; accidentally sent a thirst trap to his TA because his contact was next to his friend’s; has fallen into a fountain in public while trying to get his nickel back.

ERWIN: The way he dresses is borderline embarrassing every day. You do not need a sweater vest and khakis to go to Target, Erwin. Is bad with computers, so almost any embarrassing technological mishap you can think of, has happened to him; including that he accidentally downloaded a virus that spread to nearly all of the computers at his job all because he truly believed he’d won a free purple MacBook air for half price.

SASHA: God... this girl. Pulls on push doors even though it says ‘push’ right on the handle; once walked into the wrong building and went all the way up to the apartment she thought was hers and knocked on it to be let in by her roommates, only to have two very old ladies open the door with very confused looks on their faces (she stayed for dinner though, it was lasagna night); gets into the wrong fucking Uber every single time and the drivers are like “Uh... no offense, but you don’t look like a Hank.”

In response to this. I am replying in a new post bc I have the "no sense of brevity" flavor of ADHD so I know this is gonna get long.

@yramesoruniverse thank you so much for asking, as a matter of fact I do have some thoughts *cracks knuckles*

Let me preface this by saying I am not going to sit here and pretend I don't spend 90% of my waking hours ruminating on this. We all know what we're doing here. That being said, I have considered several variations on how I would love the 9-1-1 team to deliver this:

1. Let's call it the "Two Trapped Dads" scenario:

I implore you to consider the ANGST and POETRY of Buck and Eddie getting trapped somewhere, as civilians, and being forced to depend on each other in order to survive. The serve of this hypothetical scenario would be made more rich set in the context of them having had an argument, or just there being some kind of withstanding tension between the two that has been ignored and left to build to a nauseating degree.

(Side note: I love Buck and Eddie because when they fight it's never with any real animosity. It always stems from the terrifying magnitude of their Love for each other. It's not arguing, it's just them caring about each other very aggressively. Absolutely iconic.)

ANYWAY, in this scenario they careen into disaster over Christopher, as I see it playing out that for some reason they believe only one of them will be able to 100% make it out alive. I imagine the tension has been building since the guardianship bomb and Buck regresses to what he believes he does best, which is being a sacrificial lamb, which shoves their moment from 4x14 back into the forefront. It would force Eddie to not only seismically double down on what he said, but literally spell out to Buck what he means to Eddie, not just Christopher.

Example:

Buck: Obviously you're the one that's getting out, you have a son waiting for you.

Eddie: Screw that, you mean just as much to him as I do.

Buck: I'm irrelevant unless you're dead, Eddie, and there is no way I'm letting you die here today.

Eddie: You're such an idiot, Buck. How can you still not get it?

Buck: Get what?

Eddie: We're a family. All three of us. What did you think that whole will thing was about, anyway? Christopher and I . . . there's no us without you.

jfc someone stop me before I write an entire script, but I think you get the gist of this one.

2. Next we have the "Just-Tell-Me-What-You-WANT" scenario:

The Drama Queen in me is obsessed with this one. It would, unfortunately, require a significantly laid foundation between Buck and a love interest (Taylor ig? It's not important, tbh). Originally, I had this scenario flipped, but since we as a fandom have collectively established Eddie as the Pining Idiot in Love, we're gonna switch it up.

So, again, Buck would be progressing significantly in his relationship with [insert intentionally poorly-defined love interest here]. In the fallout of the guardianship scene, I can still see him struggling with how to untangle his Feelings about what Eddie said to him, and losing himself in the disingenuous familiarity of "Buck 1.0" (I am with Eddie in that I hate his software updates but it's canon material so there you go). The escalation of this hypothesis results in Buck contemplating taking the next step with Taylor or, more realistically, contemplating moving out of the city with her as she's been recruited for a promotion elsewhere. I could see Eddie coming over to Buck's place and them discussing this, because they discuss everything, and Eddie just getting more and more exasperated because Buck doesn't look happy but he won't stop and think, he's just barreling ahead as usual. And so Eddie calls him out.

I think it would be something like Eddie going, "What are you even doing? You obviously don't want this."

And Buck being like, "I'm not discussing what I want with you."

and Eddie just exploding, "What? What do you want, Buck? You never express what you really feel so just . . . what do you really want?"

And Buck just going fuck it and grabbing him and pressing years of want and need and love into Eddie's mouth and yeah *fans face* I'm FINE.

3. Finally, the "Wait-For-Me-To-Come-Home" scenario:

Ideally a season finale moment, paralleled to the other couples on the show. The episode would feature a series of calls relating to couples/families experiencing some degree of separation but always finding their way back to each other. At the end there's a montage of Bathena, Madney, Mavid, Henren etc. reuniting after some sort of contention and then it would stop on Buck alone in his apartment, sitting at his table identical to what we saw in Tsunami Pt. 2, completely overwhelmed by how quiet it is and how alone he feels. And maybe Buck is considering something he heard on one of the calls. Whatever the situation, it ends with him heading to Eddie's house and it's late, like two in the morning late, and the final scene is Buck knocking on Eddie's door looking wild-eyed and desperate and there's no dialogue, just them. And Eddie opens the door wider and steps back as Buck steps in and they just stand a breath's distance away, just staring at each other, and then Eddie closes the door and everything fades to black and *flings myself off a cliff*

Bonus: I call this the "Fever Dream" scenario because I dreamt it when I was, in fact, feverish and hallucinating after my second COVID vaccine:

Buck is out running an errand before going into work and ends up in a robbery situation where he obviously intervenes and ends up getting hurt. The episode would open with the 118 being unable to reach Buck and ragging on him, and the first call they respond to is, indeed, Buck on the verge of death. The rest of the episode would then show the sequence of events leading up to that moment and finish with Buck and Eddie in the back of the ambulance, and Buck just touches Eddie's face, or wraps his fist around the St. Christopher necklace hanging around Eddie's neck, and Eddie is Not Handling Things and then Buck flatlines in the back of the ambulance and jfjdsaldflja somebody stop me before I write a fic *flings myself off another cliff*

As you can see I haven't thought about this much at all. Also, you deserve a fucking award if you made it to the end of this.

Azriel can’t sleep Elain has an ASMR channel Match made in heaven (or you know, on youtube..)

I was thinking about Elain's gift to Azriel for Solstice and how she would help him sleep if they were just regular people in our modern-day world. And thus, this chapter was born. I haven't really decided if this will just be a one shot or if I will continue with a few more chapters. Please tell me if you want more.

Azriel couldn’t sleep.

It wasn’t a new occurrence. Sleep rarely found him, and when it did, it was tainted by nightmares. Ever since his childhood, sleep had been a battle. Other people talked about how much they loved sleeping, and how they might spend an entire weekend in bed, just sleeping. Azriel always nodded when he heard people say such things, but he never understood them. If he could, Azriel would skip sleep altogether. If he could, he would just keep going without rest.

But to his dismay, his body did not agree. It needed sleep. His traitorous body needed the thing he hated the most. This had led to Azriel trying anything and everything to fall asleep. He had tried working out for hours before bed. He had tried tea that was supposed to make you sleepy. He had tried calming music and meditation. Nothing had worked. He still woke up after an hour, covered in sweat. When he had become really desperate, he had tried medication (which made him feel like a zombie the next day) and weed (he hated it. It made him feel sick.)

He had almost given up at this point. He was in his late twenties and had come to accept his fate as an insomniac with horrid nightmares.

But maybe his fate would change tonight?

It was in the middle of the night and Azriel was browsing Youtube, as he so often did. He had started with an interview of one of his favorite musicians, and then he had clicked on a recommended video, and all of a sudden he was down the rabbit hole. He was just about to give up when he found himself watching a video about how to grow a micro garden (he had no interest in micro gardens, so he had no idea how he ended up there). He was just about to click off when a thumbnail of a different video caught his eye.

The small picture showed him a young woman in a lilac top. Her hair was the color of dark honey and she had some small freckles across her nose. But it was her eyes that drew him in. They were a light brown color, and he would probably describe them as doe-eyes. Big and beautiful and innocent. And kind. She looked so kind.

He clicked the video without reading the title. He needed to see more of this girl.

The video started with her sitting very close to the camera. There was a microphone in front of her and she leaned in close and whispered “Hello my lovelies, lovelies, lovelies. Welcome back to my channel.” The girl paused and moved her hands in front of the camera. “Tonight’s video will be personal attention and hand movements.” Her voice was soft, almost angelic.

He didn’t know what he expected to see when he clicked the video, but it wasn’t this. Azriel had no idea what he was watching, but he couldn’t stop.

The girl on the video picked up a hairbrush and started tapping the back of it with her nails. “I am going to brush your hair,” she whispered into the microphone, and Azriel could feel himself relax as she started to move the brush in front of the camera. She had added a background sound that actually made it sound as if she was brushing someone’s hair. “Does that feel good?” she asked into the microphone. Her eyes never left the camera and it felt as if she was staring into Azriel’s soul. She continued the brushing while whispering affirmations into the microphone. Azriel felt a tingling sensation that started in his neck and traveled down his back. He had no idea what this girl was doing to him, but he wanted more. He glanced at the channel name: Flower Girl ASMR.

He made a mental note to google what ASMR was when the video was finished.

He did feel a bit weird watching this though. He was just watching this girl whisper sweet things into her microphone, and it felt as if she was whispering them into his ears. She had finished the brushing and was now giving him a face massage. He knew that it was weird. He knew that his friends would laugh their asses off if they found out that he had been watching this video. Luckily, they would never find out.

Flower Girl ASMR moved her hands slowly in front of the camera in small circular motions. She smiled gently at the camera and he could feel himself smile back. He actually smiled at his phone. God, what was this video? Witchcraft?

“If you like my content, you can subscribe to my Patreon,” she whispered halfway through the video. “For only five, five, five dollars a month, you get access to hundreds of videos, and I post five new videos every week that are exclusive to my patreons.”

Never in his life had Azriel wanted to subscribe to someone’s Patreon, but he could make an exception for this girl.

While having her soft voice in his ears, he decided to scroll the comments.

Most of the comments were nice enough, telling her that she made them feel relaxed and helped them sleep. Was that what she did? Did she help people sleep?

Azriel didn’t really believe that anyone could help him at this point, but he had to admit that he did feel relaxed.

He continued scrolling, and almost wished he hadn’t. Among all of the sweet comments, there were some assholes that made his blood boil.

Azriel curled his hands into fists to keep himself from replying to every single weird comment on this video. Didn’t she moderate her comments? She could easily block words from appearing in her comment section. Why didn’t she?

The internet was full of creeps, which he was well aware of since he worked in IT. He had moderated many comment sections in his life, and people never ceased to surprise and disgust him. But he couldn’t understand why people would comment such things on this lovely girl’s video. She was obviously just trying to help people.

He shook his head in disbelief and clicked away from the comments.

The video soon ended, and another one started automatically.

In this video, the pretty girl was sitting in front of a wall covered in flowers. The microphone was still in front of her and she was using a make-up brush on the microphone. It made a swooshing sound, and Azriel could feel that tingling sensation again. He put his phone on his chest and relaxed on his bed. The swooshing sound of the brush combined with her sweet whispers made his entire body feel good. He thought to himself that he should subscribe to her channel, but before he knew it, he was drifting off.

Slowly, he fell asleep and no nightmares plagued him that night.

Azriel jolted awake to the sound of his alarm. Sleepily, he found himself cradling his phone. His air pods had fallen out of his ears during the night and he found one under his pillow and the other one on the floor.

He was sleepy, but also...rested?

He couldn’t even remember what it felt like to sleep for hours without waking up to nightmares and anxiety. Was this what normal people felt like every day? No wonder they loved sleeping so much.

Azriel picked up his phone and walked out to his kitchen to make some breakfast. While he waited for the coffee machine to brew his coffee, he leaned against the counter and clicked the YouTube icon on his phone. He searched for “Flower Girl ASMR”. Video after video with her beautiful face appeared on his screen. He clicked on one of the videos he had watched last night and decided to leave a comment. He usually never left comments on videos, but there was just something about her…

Shadowsinger 3 minutes ago I have no idea what ASMR means, but this video put me to sleep last night. I can’t remember the last time I had hours of uninterrupted sleep. Thank you!

He then clicked the link to her Patreon and subscribed to her there. It will be the best five dollars a month ever spent , he thought to himself as he poured coffee into his favorite cup.

the main character of the red women series, shizuko is in class 78 along with naegi and the gang in treacherous

she’s a byakuya togami oc (unfortunately, bc i see a blonde man with glasses who is an asshole and feel the compulsive need to fix him. what else did we expect from me. i literally have tsukishima kei tattooed on my leg. self-fulfilling prophecy.), but in her humble opinion she is Beyond love interests (she says, as if she is not fully in love with him) and is just her own character at this point

her title is the ultimate engineer, a power she uses mostly for evil. her family’s pretty poor, so she uses her talents to pick locks, charge people to do their math homework for them, and just generally get herself into trouble or do anything that could make her a quick buck. luckily she got into hopes peak on a scholarship so here she is babey!!

she’s a Menace and spends most of her days fighting/making out with byakuya, gently bullying naegi as a sign of affection, being above everything with celestia, and trying to solve murders

she also appears in both of the other books in the series, as well as (almost) every game and piece of anime, unfortunately. annoying of her! but why she’s the main character. well that and she came first and is ultimately in control of my brain worms lmao

post-trigger happy havoc, shizuko is a member of the future foundation, usually running around wherever byakuya is, arguing with him, and following kirigiri’s every word bc what is she gonna do question her. she’s an icon.

fun facts: she will just watch gears turn for hours and loves putting gear patterns together (a trait she stole from me xxxxx), she has a rabid love of coca-cola, and she wears a lot of fingerless gloves

as a bonus, all the red women have color palettes assigned them to follow the theme - so shizuko embodies scarlet, the color of passion, love, and wrath. and she carries the red with her in her red hair!

hiina is in class 77b of the despair arc/goodbye despair, and featured in the book nothing new.

she’s a gundham tanaka oc and im not accepting criticism at this time <3 hes big and handsome and good with animals AND a feminist? sign me the fuck up we can get married today sir. so hiina exists <3

she’s the ultimate doll maker! i was gonna make her smth normal (my first draft was ultimate roller skater) but i made the mistake of re-watching all of his lines from the anime And the game and i was like “oh wait ma’am you can’t be normal” so she stole this title and ran with it

hiina was bullied as a kid for her talent (people thought her dolls were creepy and she has the face of a haunted victorian doll so they made fun of her :[ ) so she’s very quiet when she first enters 77b, and though she’s still pretty demure by. well. the time things go to shit, she really finds people who appreciate her and her talent at hope’s peak!! however, she’s also a fucking weirdo, bc. i think you have to be to kiss gundham.

hiina appears in pretty much all of the media gundham appears in SLKNDKNFS so goodbye despair, despair arc, and future arc. this includes the third book, begin again.

post-despair arc, hiina is a remnant of despair, notably utilizing her dolls as bombs. after goodbye despair, hiina helps the future foundation with her classmates, and joins her classmates on the boat that sails them away!

fun facts: she is obsessed with build a bear, she dresses exclusively like a haunted victorian doll, and she loves venetian masks and includes them in most of her doll designs (and wears a cracked one when she’s a remnant)

hiina’s color is pink - for innocence, peace, and youth. she has red in her surname, which means “red feathers”, a nod both to the series and to her boyfriend’s love of animals <3

hoo boy... okay so im trying to go light on the content here. but there is so much lore to akemi, the protagonist of begin again. she’s in class 77a - in fact, she’s the class representative!

she’s a makoto naegi love interest bc. i am nothing but a protagonist love bot. before this however she is involved with nagito komaeda. :) am i even a nagito stan? not really. but what was i gonna do, see a naegi parallel and NOT mess with it?? she was also invented to be shizuko’s childhood friend (long story but plot necessary) which is the real reason she exists bc what shizuko says goes xxx.

her title is the ultimate archivist; she has a photographic memory, and a special interest in history, especially recording it. she has logs of her entire life in diaries, and can and will overshare about world history if you ask about it

basically she’s the gifted burnout child we all know we are. she overworks herself, collapses into a heap, has a mental breakdown. rinse repeat. the only ones there to remind her to chill are shizuko, nanami, and... nagito.

so. akemi is. complicated. bc her story is undoubtedly the longest. the prelude of her story is set in the despair arc, where she’s kind of on the outside looking in at class 77b. while she and nanami work really hard to bring their two classes together, she can tell there’s something about 77b that’s different. no one confirms that better than nagito, who just comes up to her and starts talking to her one day. she finds his lowkey airhead nature super charming and they start dating - much to her chagrin later on. when her peers are brainwashed and the tragedy of hope’s peak happens, akemi is saved by nagito’s luck, to her own misfortune.

her story actually begins in the game despair girls, while she’s in towa city - where nagito drove her to. as a remnant of despair, nagito decides to keep her as a pet project, bc despair is never sweeter than when it’s from someone you love. so he stalks her, drives her out of every place she feels safe. she spends all the time between the tragedy and despair girls moving from city to city, never staying in one place for more than a month. and the things he does during that time... i’ll spare you the details lmao. but it’s in towa city that akemi meets komaru naegi! after the game, she’s rescued by the future foundation - more specifically by makoto. he takes her in to work for them as their own archivist, which is great! until the future arc when she’s trapped in the final killing game. even she couldn’t escape a killing game bc. you know. the show.

fun facts (bc this summary needs to be lightened up KDNLKNF): she loved white roses until they were lowkey ruined for her and now her favorite flower is a daisy, her hair is naturally dark purple (anime magic <3) but by despair girls it’s dyed black, and she has glasses but wears contacts most of the time

finally, akemi’s story is represented by maroon - nobility, beauty, and eventually, relaxation. akemi’s red is in her first name, because though it translates to brightness and brilliance, it also can mean vermillion.
