Around 11 months ago, McDonald’s Singapore came out with the Sweet Paprika Chicken McCrispy. The Chicken McCrispy is back again along with the new Sweet Paprika Chicken Burger. Bringing mum with me, I head to the nearest McDonald’s restaurant to test it out.

Went with the Sweet Paprika Chicken Burger Special (S$9.70) set meal which consisted of the burger, medium Twister Fries and a gassy drink which I upgraded to a small Ice Lemon Tea (+S$0.75). The burger came with a crispy and flavourful Sweet Paprika chicken patty, refreshing lettuce topped with creamy cajun mayo and soft, glazed buns. The patty is mildly spicy and best of all, juicy to the bite with plenty of lettuces to accompany it. I must comment that I really enjoyed it.

vasseur's behaviour recently baffles me bc charles spoke so highly of him recently, saying that he's exactly the type of principal he needed after the one we shall not mention. also charles was literally his golden sauber child that got him points even with a B list car. i dont know why they make so questionable decisions recently and prioritize carlos over charles even in scenarious where charles would make more sense to be the #1 priority.

PREACH. like... charles speaking so highly of fred back in august made sense. sure, fred had been a little sus, but growing pains and faith and all that. charles continuing to be glowing in praise in october, after The Horrors™? makes less sense. like sure, this is around the same time that charles told espn (austin) that the car is being developed in his direction and next year's project is looking good, etc. so it could just be part of charles' overall branding and the image he is/was cultivating as being faithful and supportive of the team. i don't really think charles would lie about supporting fred though, so...

anyway but as to fred: he baffles me too. literal sauber golden child may or may not have hand-selected you to be team principle for ferrari and you... squander him? he seems sensible and ready to throw down for charles sometimes. other times he sounds like he's giving the company's line in interviews. did the politics get to him?? is there a plan in there somewhere?? is it all just laying the groundwork to have a huge marvelous turn around in 2024??

Honestly one of the things I miss most about drinking is ending a night out comfortably drunk and absolutely housing a bowl of spicy ramen or kimchi rice or lamb curry or drunken noodles - anything carbs and spice that would leave enough leftovers for the potentially hungover breakfast

being an asthmatic is weird occasionally despite it being a common thing because all anyone knows is “weird kid has to use inhaler when he gets panicked or overexerts physically” which, sure, that’s the life threatening part of it, but no one ever talks about laughing for longer than ten seconds and giving yourself a cough, a gallon of loose mucus in the throat, and a sore chest for the next two hours afterward

A collaboration between McDonald's Singapore and K-pop icons New Jeans in the form of Chicken McCrispy K-Sweet & Spicy, a combination of Korean sweet and spicy flavours with McDonald’s Chicken McCrispy. This East meet West fried chicken is available for only a limited time.

Got the two-piece Chicken McCrispy K-Sweet & Spicy Special (S$10.25) that comes with Crisscut Fries and a regular gassy drink which I topped up (S$0.75) to change to an iced green tea. A whole chicken leg divided in a thigh and drumstick set is coated in a spicy and sweet glaze. The chicken is both crispy and juicy though the soy sauce taste is a tad salty for me. This would be a good pairing with steamed rice.

It's that time of year where my home slowly becomes a little hovel from Skyrim 😌. My lemon balm, mint and chives have already come in early, so I've cut them all back and have bundles hang drying in my living room and hallway. I used the last two of my shitty cheap hy vee brand black teas- I'm broke and forgetful and didn't put it on the grocery list- and uh... I think this ones either been in the cabinet w the spicy fancy teas or... this is not the correct tea. Its like kind of peppery, and kinda Chai like?
