I just learned that Eda is dubbed by the same person who dubs Aunt May in Marvel's Spider-Man.
That makes it official. Everyone welcomes Tía Eda!

As a kid, the 60′s cartoon Spider-Man was always a blast to watch. Every time I think of Spidey, I always imagine this one. How time flies

Okay so I've been looking at the spectacular spider-man tag and I just wanna voice my opinion.
Peter parker in the spectacular spider-man cartoon was a dick. He was a crappy friend and a horrible boyfriend.
He had feeling for Gwen and got distracted a lot thats not the issue it isn't that he got with liz either it's that he confessed to his best friends girlfriend right after his best friend said he was kidnapped. Then had the audacity to think that his pain was just as bad as Harry's after harry lost his dad and he didn't get Gwen.
Yes I get Peter was trying to be honest but the fact he dragged Liz and Gwen around cause he couldn't make up his mind and chose to focus on what he didn't have other then what he did have was wrong. He never once tried to be a good boyfriend to liz he didn't stop and think maybe this can work out if I put effort into making it work.
Because liz was pretty much perfect for him she was kind and understanding. Never got mad at him for being late only for ignoring her (you know his girlfriend) for Gwen who was with harry.
And poor Gwen was trying to move on after getting her heart broken but couldn't cause he was giving her hope even after ditching her for Liz. I am not saying harry was a good boyfriend for Gwen either cause it just seemed like he was only using her as an accessory.
Gwen and Liz were such good characters but they were ruined by making them rivals for a guy who clearly didn't deserve it.
And this doesn't mean I hate Peter from the cartoon I want to but I can also see why he did it without realizing, that and I really like his character design so I have a hard time hating him cause of that too.
Also if you have a different opinion that's fine I just wanted to voice mine

During this almost 3 months of quarantine I developed some sort of obsession with everything Spider-Man related (not that I didn't love Spidey even before the MCU, but in this period it's basically the only kind of content I'm consuming). It's kinda concerning.
But anyway, I made it my mission to watch every Spider-Man cartoon that came out in the 2000 (I wanted to watch the old ones as well, but I can't understand anything due to audio quality).
So I started with Ultimate Spider-Man (USP) because it's the one I remember most vividly from the past. I discovered people hate that series, but I'm not a master in considering the voice acting quality, so I just focused on story and character personality.
So, USP. The story was fun and kept me interested until the 4th season, which I honestly think kinda sucked. I loved Flash and Spider-Man, but Peter Parker wasn't the best interpretation of the character. This series has one of my favourite Harry Osborn and the whole new super hero squad thing was interesting. White tiger and Nova were a breath of fresh air from the usual superheroes. And Agent Venom (even though in this version Venom is made from Peter's blood for some reason??) is always an awesome thing to witness. Amadeus Cho was fun, but he was there for too much for my taste. And i will always be a fan of anything Multiverse related, so the whole spiderverse thing was awesome. Taskmaster and deadpool were so cool, even though this version of the deadpool backstory sucks (if we believe what Wade says actually happened) because the reason he becomes the next with a mouth is.... reasons??? And also he's not crazy but can beat taskmaster no problem and brake the 4th wall.
Speaking of 4th wall, Spider-Man talks directly to the audience and at first it felt like he was just telling a story to us and the whole series is just a giant flashback with him telling us what happened, but the Deadpool and Moon Knight episode (this last one being the only good thing to come out of season 4) revealed that he... just... brakes the 4th wall. For no reason.
Then the 4th season happened. And stuff became weird. I know that clones and stuff are present in a lot of Spider-Man stuff but when Hydra randomly came back and they brought in every version of someone with spider powers they could think of it just became boring and nonsensical. Doc Ock became like Freezer from Dragon Ball, where every upgrade wasn't even his final form, and that was annoying. Peter Parker basically disappeared at this point and it was annoying, cause the cool thing about Spidey will always be that he's a normal average guy who got powers.
There were lots of characters pre-MCU like Hakeye and I love him for example.
One thing I missed in the entire season was Peter working as a photographer at the Bugle, but JJJ was perfect so I can't complain.
Stan Lee was a character in this and it was nice. Very nice.
Also doesn't have an opening song. Terrible.
So over all I'd give it a 7/10. It was cool and interesting to watch, and I have little to no complains from the first 3 seasons, it made me discover an interest in lots of superheroes I knew, yes, but I didn't love then as much as I do now, like Cloak and Dagger, Moon Knight, Taskmaster and others.
Also the Guardians of the Galaxy make some appearances. What more do you need?
I'll make another post for Spectacular Spider-Man because this is long and that series disappointed me.
