My name is Owen Carvour and I am a spy who works for the MI6. Or at least I used to back in the 60s.

You see, I used to live in the 60s until very recently. I know this sounds unbelievable, but on my last mission, when infiltrating a russian military base in syberia, I discovered they were building a portal of sorts that I was forced to step through.

After I traversed a yellow light and a place of pure darkness, I found myself in what appears to be the America of the 21st century. And that is where I am now.

Betty looks at her husband as he twirls his hat around and sets it back on his head, pointing out the few things they can recognize and excitedly rambling about what to buy first for their new lives. His arms flexed with a record of the years he'd spent climbing and carrying her around the house because he wanted to show off his strength. His eyes turn upwards to meet hers. Brown and full of warmth and the years she's spent looking into them. All the good and bad they've gone through together is somewhere behind his eyes. She's seen every last emotion in those eyes. She's felt every bit of that beautiful face.

He knows.

Sergio glances up at his wife. She wasn't a special trained government spy. She didn't have a fall back or backup in her line of work. Neither of them did. It was herself, a few of her friends she could trust, and him. They worked together, trained together, spent long, long nights preparing and planning for their gigs together. They'd spent too many nights worrying that it would be their last in the same bed.

So they made the most of it and spent those potential last nights as close to each other as possible. He'd heard her profess her love as best she could between kisses a thousand times. He'd told her exactly how much he loved every last part of her he could think of. The mornings would come, sometimes they woke up to it, sometimes they looked out the window to see sunlight.

Maybe this time they could find work that wouldn't beg them to risk having a true final night together. Even if she loved her job. He'd never stop her from it. But they'd said goodbye with their whole hearts enough times. They were in this until the end. Whenever that may be.

Betty shone in the admittedly cold daylight. America was far too chilly to be dropped into it like this. But they had the right clothes. Lord she looked incredible in that sweater. It was a backup she'd gotten in case they needed to flee somewhere cold for a few months until it was safe to come home. He hoped they still sold clothes in her size. Who knew what the majority of women looked like now. (The idea of them not selling things in her size made him rather upset. He quickly dismissed it)

Taking his hand with hers, and he knew how easy it was for her to pick him up and toss him into the air with joy. How many times she'd swung him around to entertain the children. All the dances they shared. All the nights he'd spent working to be able to do the same for her.

Her hair was tied up beautifully and it framed her from every angle. So black that the winter sunlight almost gave it a blueish shimmer. Curls and hair ties and the texture he knew like he knew his own name. It never stopped feeling good.

Their eyes met and those green eyes, those glittering green eyes. So full of life. Full of their lives. The tiny flecks of blue im them that you wouldn't notice as anything more than a trick of the light if you didn't look closely. He'd seen them full of the thrill of a chase. He'd seen her sobbing in alleyways after losing friends or seeing someone die. They never got used to that. They never got over it. They just hid it until they could cry. He'd seen the tired eyes, the passionate eyes, the eyes she only made in the late nights they spent in bed, and those focused on work eyes.

"She knows."

{It's a rare entirely ooc post! Since the headcanon of Curt and Owen from Spies are Forever being the Spankoffskis' grandparents is canon in the rp, I wanted to share my own personal related headcanons

growing up, Ted spent a lot of time at Curt and Owen's place for the same reason that Pete's living with Ted instead of their parents

because of this, contrary to everyone's expectation, Ted is surprisingly good at handling guns

at family gatherings, Ted and Curt always end up drunk together, and Owen teaches Pete how to trick them into sobering up (eg. pretending to get them another drink but not telling them it's non-alcoholic)

Ted and Pete both love listening to the stories Curt and Owen have to tell about their missions

Owen constantly has to stop Curt from telling them state secrets and classified information

both Ted and Pete have tried telling people at school that their grandpas used to be spies to make themselves look cooler. Both of them were not believed and instead made fun of

Also how I justify this hc works in the first place:

the whole spies plot happened as we know it, but instead of Curt shooting Owen, they just kissed or something idk just let them be happy plz

Owen is bisexual (that's just my hc regardless of the other stuff), and at some point, he slept with a woman who then got pregnant. He found out about the child when that woman died (idk it's a dangerous job people die all the time), and he and Curt decided to raise it as their own. That child later became a parent of Ted and Pete

Also, I'm pretty sure Curt and Owen would be over 90 by now and I'm willing to say that either spies took place a little later in this canon, or some timey wimey stuff happened so they're a little younger because in my imagination they're still very active and more athletic than a 90 yo would realistically be (or they just live forever and never have any health problems whatever)}

Here are the titles and a little synopsis:

Separated at Mutation AU - the turtles are scattered after their mutation due to a mystic mess following the destruction of Draxum's lab. Following much different lives than each other, will fate bring them back together in the end? (for the people who know me and done rp of this concept, this is my updated take on it and not just our rp in my own words)

Quarantine AU - Young Raph is taken from the sewers after getting lost and is transported to a big, scary laboratory filled with other mutants and yokai. It's not all bad, though, he meets a new friend that may be his salvation. (Raph centered)

Tunnels & Terrapins AU - basically just a dnd campaign but it's the turtles. They lead different lives, have different struggles, but come together to fulfill their destiny and vanquish evil.

Sound Senitive Michael - Mikey has sound issues as a kid, and his brothers sometimes have trouble navigating it.

Mama's Second Right Hand Yokai - The Reaper is one of Big Mama's top Seekers, spies tasked on keeping eyes on and containing old, new, and prospective fighters of the battle nexus. Their newest assignment? Keep their eyes peeled for an opening on "The Sons of Jitsu"

Streamers and Cans (of paint) - Mikey has been going out at night, that's as far as his brothers know. Unbeknownst to them he's been indulging in some not-so-legal-but-not-the-worst activities for entertainment. Like trespassing and Vandalism. He may or may not have gained a following along the way.

🤠 howdy everyone! I've been thinking about some specific characters recently, but figured it may be easiest to make an RP post in regards to a more generalized search! I'm a 21+ college student, and I'm hoping to find 18+ partners to write with over on discord.

some genres I enjoy include...

- slice of life (I like to include a bit of this in ALL of my RPs, so keep that in mind! I'm a big friends to lovers fan, as well as any tropes that can be mixed with that!)

- action (i.e. mafia, spies, assassins, etc.)

- adventure (especially in the medieval fantasy realm, but modern fantasy can lend itself well to adventures as well)

- fantasy (medieval, modern, OR futuristic! I'm a big fantasy fan. give me an adventuring party/found family and I will love you forever)

- mystery (would love to make a big cast for a murder mystery scenario!)

- celebrity plots (hidden relationship from the paparazzi, forced into a relationship for publicity, idols, etc.)

- school-based settings (especially when combined with modern fantasy, action, or mystery!)

this is a broad list, I know, but I've got a ton of different characters who could fit into these categories and fluctuating muse for all of them! since there's so much I enjoy writing about, it's easier to list what I am NOT interested in...

❌ smut-heavy plots. I always prefer STORY first! smut can get pretty boring if that's all we're writing.

❌ heavy dead dove themes. I'm certainly open to angst and a bit of dark stuff here and there, but I don't want it to be the entire plot.

❌ being made to play an aggressive dom top. or, in a similar vein, being made to write large age gaps. power imbalance plots in general just make me uncomfortable. give-and-take is what makes things interesting. if you're a writer who will only write bottoms (INCLUDING dom bottoms!), I probably won't be interested in writing smut with you. if you have interesting characters to bring to the table, I'll consider fade-to-blacks. if you're looking for smut, a willingness to switch is a requirement.

❌ inactive plotters. if you send me a one-word response while we're plotting together, I'll drop you right there.

❌ wanted FCs. I won't tell you what your character should look like, so don't tell me what mine should look like.

❌ anything from one-liners to semi-lit. I consider myself advanced literate to novella, which means one discord message is my minimum.

❌ being bothered constantly for a response. I have classes and work, and I don't always have the ability to write every day. I'll be respectful of your time, so please be respectful of mine.

I'm fairly adaptable when it comes to pairings. I tend to write M characters (for MxM or MxF), but I also have a few F characters I could toss out (mostly for FxF)! I have a real wide variety in terms of characters, from young to middle-aged, "normal" to magical. I don't have strong preferences in terms of type of FC (drawn, real, or none), so I'll adapt to whatever you bring to the table. the most important things to me are PLOT, CHARACTERS, and DETAIL. I want something plot-driven and character-focused first!

Who is Lark?

• OC x Canon ahead

• Lark is a perpetual who’s home planet is Wisterium. Wisterium is a large hive world that serves as a trade hub for the Imperium, and was once home to the Primarch Ursa Major and the XXth legion.

Adopted and raised into an organization of female spies,—The Ladies of Wisteria—, Lark’s one purpose from a young age was to gather intel and remain inconspicuous whilst doing so; Usually via putting on a feminine and elegant exterior. This however did not bode well for Lark, who knew from a young age that he was different from his sisters, and not in fact a girl as he had been taught to believe.

After lots of ups and downs, rebellions and beatings, he eventually submitted to the life style his Order had wanted for him. For his induction into the LoW, he drank the blood of The Starcrawler, an ancient being living within the core of Wisterium. This is where he gained his perpetualism from.

The draw backs to his new power where greater than anticipated, however. The idea of immortality was not only daunting, but later on it would be noted that Lark would forget more and more of his past the longer he lived. His mind was not build to live forever. He started writing journals.

A few years after his induction ceremony, Lark was given his first assignment. Like so many of his sister’s before him, he had been assigned to a recently found primarch, Konrad Curze, The Dark King. His job was simple: Act as a servant whilst gathering information on the down low, and reporting back to the LoW on his findings.

Unluckily for the LoW, Lark ended up falling for the primarch, and it seemed the feeling was mutual. Konrad was the first person who ever fully accepted Lark as a man, and following the start of an unexpected relationship, he cut all ties with the LoW, and started working for Konrad Curze as ‘The Huntsman’.

The Huntsman’s job was primarily rooted in conducting assassinations and keeping an eye on anyone who got too close, whether it be politically, physically, or emotionally to The Dark King. Despite the importance of his job, Lark’s role in the military hierarchy wasn’t very high, and he primarily did his work covertly; To outsiders he was just Konrad’s personal servant.

This changed during the Heresy when Lark became an important figure head. At first, remained loyal to Konrad Curze, but he later switched sides and rejoined the Imperium. Eventually, after Konrad was cast out into space by Sanguinius, Lark betrayed the Imperium yet again.

He spent the rest of the Heresy at Konrad’s side, up until the primarch’s death. Afterward, he wandered the galaxy in search of a new purpose. Over time, he began to forget more of his past and history; he had lived so long all his memories began to meld together.

In the 40th millennium he is the captain of a small crew of rogue traders who travel the reaches of space exploring and doing freelance work. Over time, his healing factor has gotten much weaker, and he takes longer to regenerate; He lost his left arm to a Keeper of Secrets.

Despite everything, his reputation as a ruthless assassin continues to proceed him, albeit in rumors and legends of a one-minded Huntsman who always did his master’s bidding with glee.
