This is from a one-shot that I just felt like writing one day when I wasn't feeling well. It is appropriately called Doctor Derek.

“Stiles, get in the car.”

Stiles stalled.

“I drove you to school, so your other option is hoofing it back home and with your clumsiness that prospect worries me.”

Stiles sighed and got into the car. Derek gave him a smug smirk and shut the door.

“I think I can help you,” Derek said. “I’m very good at playing doctor.”

Stiles’ mood turned up considerably. He quirked an eyebrow suggestively. “Oh, really?” He leaned in closer to Derek who smiled and started the engine.

Derek carried Stiles up the stairs of the house and dropped him onto his bed. Before Stiles could start to protest, Derek tucked him into his bed so tightly it was like it was just a tool to hold in him place. He looked like a burrito. Derek returned from the other room with a thermometer. Stiles had opened his mouth to speak, but Derek stuck the thermometer under his tongue. He sat on the edge of the bed as they waited for the results.

“This is not what I had in mind,” Stiles muttered.

The thing beeped at them and Derek took it from Stiles’ mouth. Stiles strained his neck to see, but Derek kept it out of view.

“Ninety nine point eight.”

“One hundred point three is a fever,” Stiles protested.

“Yes, but you’re climbing your way up there, so lie down.” He gently pushed Stiles back on the bed and got up to return the thermometer.

“This is definitely not what I had in mind when you said you were a good doctor.”
