will infodumps to mike about tigers and mike gives him his complete and undivided attention. because he loves how excited will gets. he thinks it's adorable how will's eyes light up as he tells him about each fact that he knows. he thinks it's super cute how will wants to have one for a pet and just pictures him cuddling a little baby one and the cub giving him kisses and will being all smiley and giggly. will gets nervous that he might be annoying mike but every time he looks at his face mike's eyes are on him and he has a gentle smile on his face. mike also asks will questions which let's him know that he is listening and wants to engage with will's special interest. will also gets very excited while infodumping to mike and starts flapping his hands and bouncing in his seat. mike absolutely adores his stimming because he's so happy that will feels comfortable to not mask around him.
Let's normalize not knowing everything or a lot about your special interests & not being particularly good at your special interests.
I have very bad memory.
For me, a special interest is more about the joy and comfort it brings me. A special interest is something that feels like I can recharge while engaging in it.
I don't necessarily need to know tons of facts about it or be really good at it for it to qualify as a special interest.
PERCYYYYY!! May I have a little blushing Gerry to match my blushing Michael? (no pressure ofc, do whatever gives you inspiration. LOVE UUU)
gggguh done
this took so long my brain is melting. I did it all in one fell swoop. I’m so tired
hope this is good enough esttie! love you toooo this was actually insanely fun to make and I was playing around with some rendering so I hope you don’t mind if it’s a bit different from other times I’ve drawn him <3
One of my favorite things is learning random facts about random things. When I got my autism assessment I scored crazy high in general knowledge because I like to know ALL the things.
Anybody got some good random facts? Info dumping is welcome. Please tell me the minutiae of your favorite things.
Autism culture is your living room being surrounded with merch from your sp/in. What noo there isn't like 10 Draculaura dolls what are you talking about /sar
So in Yuma's Werther gala, for one of his spins, he starts it and spins a bit, then stops and spins the other way. If this was a competitive program, would this qualify as two different spins since he pauses and they go in opposite directions?
No. It can also be used as a feature to spin into the other direction, it's not easy and not many skaters are able to spin in both directions. I guess that Yuma is not using it in his competitive programs is that first his spins how he does them now work fine for him and also that changing direction of a spin is proned to lose speed for the spin, so is risky and will not award more points.
One skater that uses that in many of her programs was Satoko Miyahara. A good reason to go back and rewatch Satoko's programs are her exquisite spins and her exquite programs full of details in general. Satoko imo is the best spinner in the world!
