Have you ever had the experience of a clergy person telling you what you MUST do for a god, and you immediately felt like your autonomy as a person was in danger, and then you told the person you did not want to, or would not do that? Did the clergy person in question then tell you that you had "too many shields" and you "needed to learn humility" or needed to "work on your ego" to progress?

That's Pathological Demand Avoidance. It can be a symptom of autism. It's not ego, it's not you being spiritually defective, or arrogant.

As a former educator, if I had a buck for every time a student with a learning difference or disability was called arrogant or willful by a parent or teacher, as if they could be disciplined, or worse "broken in" by an authority figure in a way that erased their autism or dyslexia (etc), I'd be able to buy a house in cash.

The answer is accommodation, not humiliation, discipline, criticism, or punishment.

No one has the right to make you feel like any part of your religion is a demand or a threat.

It’s hard feeling so disconnected.

I think sometimes about your soul.

Often when I’m tired I ask myself what color your spirit may be.

I’ve come to the conclusion that you are a mystical silver blue.

It's funny that as soon as I start getting into God's word, and praying up into high heaven, that the spiritual warfare starts ramping up like crazy.

Yes I am protected, for the Lord is my Fortress and my rock. He goes before me wherever I go.

But I'd be lying if I said the adversary was making it easy. He hits low, so low you might have to start limbo dancing to fight back. 😬

I’m exhausted trying to advocate myself to people, especially ones who are supposed to be “ family “

Im exhausted of this back and forward, push and pull, one way only, no way possible, having shit options, etc

I shouldn’t have to “ back down “ because I’m trying to establish my own boundaries to people older than me/people who are in authority.

They don’t like/didn’t like how, as a kid, I DARED stand up to them when they were being abusive/neglectful/haughty/ /etc.

And that also goes towards beings/non beings/ /etc who AREN’T human. Or half human/ /etc

They don’t get exempt either, whether they’re from reality/realities/ /etc or what

I hate this

sorta spirirual sequel to the Dimachaerus crab. This is supposed to be a variety of de-carcinized crab descendants in a future earth where tetrapods aren't as widespread as they use to be. Allowing a wide variety of invertebrates to take hold on earth's surface

From left to right

A tropical pursuit predator capable of crushing shell and bone alike with it's square claws.

A flying form that uses it's old swimming legs as a pair of wings.

A browsing centauroid herbivore with hadrosaur beak-like claws to hold onto plants. Using their swimming legs this time to hold onto mates and eggs

And a small bipedal herbivore closely related to the centauroid herbivore. Using it's swimming legs for sexual display
