It really sucks how suddenly I'll get a flashback of my dad, like, when I was a kid or even a few years ago when he was healthy and vibrant, and then suddenly I'll think of him sick, on his last full day alive, laying in a hospital bed. Idk.

I just want to hold onto him. There's so many sweet moments from when he was in the hospital, but I don't want to depress everyone so I don't talk about it. Like, near the end, his lungs collapsed and I think he thought he was going to die right before they rushed in to do emergency surgery, so he kept waving me over. He couldn't talk by then (well. He could talk a little, but his voice was gone and his throat was raw, plus he had the thing in his neck to help him breathe.). I couldn't tell what he wanted, but I went to his side because I knew the medical teams would soon rush me out of the room. He grabbed my arm and kept pulling, re-gripping, pulling. His hand was moving up my forearm, and I figured he wanted me to lean down. And do you know what he did? He kissed my cheek. In his darkest hour, my daddy wanted to kiss me goodbye.

He didn't die, that day. I think he lived for another week or so? But I am so... impressed with him, that he was literally on the verge of death, getting an emergency procedure, and his thought was "let me kiss my daughter." He had done the arm grip thing before, but I didn't know what he was doing, then. I'm sad that I missed it, and I hope he didn't feel rejected. I know it must be frustrating to not be able to communicate well, especially when you've spent your entire life communicating for a living.

Part of me is calm about the whole thing, now. Some days, I can't feel him with me and I am extremely scared about what happens after we die. I fear that he just no longer exists- I fear no longer existing, one day. But other days, it's like he's talking directly to me. I can't explain it. It's not like a thought. It's not like hearing a voice. It's like I suddenly know and then I know it was him who told me.

I asked him, last night, why I can't feel him anymore. I heard nothing. I was so sad, and I kept telling him that I couldn't believe that there was a such thing as heaven, anymore. That the afterlife felt like something I was using to comfort myself more than something real. I'm telling you, I got no answer at all. Radio silence. Nothing.

Then today, I was walking through the house and thought I saw someone out of the corner of my eye. I paused and looked, saw nothing, and rolled my eyes. "Hello, the dead," I said sarcastically, and went to the kitchen to grab food. When I went back upstairs, I felt compelled to go into the bonus room, where Dad would work when he worked from home. Once in there, I thought about him, and I kinda just said, not serious at all, "Dad, are you haunting me?" And I swear, I heard an answer. Like, just suddenly knew. It was "No, I don't need to haunt. I got Jesus." Listen if you know me, you know I'm not that religious. But my Daddy was. He played piano for various churches during his life, and prayed up into the day he died. That was exactly the type of answer he would have given.

I know people think that we mourners make experiences like that up in our heads to comfort ourselves, but it came to me as if it was placed into my head. It wasn't like a thought, or like writing dialogue. And more than that, I went from feeling like "there's probably nothing after we die" and not being able to feel my dad at all, to immediately feeling... good? Like, I knew immediately that he told me that. It's not even my first time... he's done it before. Like, soon after he died, the garage was broken and wouldn't go down. I knew it could be fixed and I casually asked Dad to help. Moments later, the fix popped into my head. I knew to pull the red string on the garage door opener and realign the thing. That's something I wouldn't have known, but that Dad would. As evidenced by me not even knowing what the thing is called. (It's like a little level that has to fit into a notch so that the chain can move properly to pull the door up and down.) It worked, too.

I just wanted to talk about my dad. And like... advocate for the spiritual world existing, I guess, because... idk, these experiences seem real, to me. That's all. I feel better, now.

The Children under the House (Analog Horror) X Transformers Prime AU Part 2:

It's that time of the year when exchange programs rule the halls of the school. There are quite a few students coming from all around the world, most notably Asian countries that would like to experience American culture.

Students like Miko Nakadai. A spunky Japanese girl who is very fluent in the English language. Jess would know; Miko hasn't stopped talking to her and Raf during lunch break for a few weeks now.

Jess appreciates her new friend. Always so energetic and, maybe a bit of a risk taker, but she is true in spirit. Very interested in music too, although she prefers breath-hitching heavy metal and ear-shattering punk rock.

One day, Raf invites Jess to play with his remote controlled yellow car in a rather far area up a small highway. Jess doesn't own a toy car like Raf's, though that certainly doesn't mean she can't have fun racing the little sportscar on her skateboard.

Raf's mum calls, evidently to check in on how Raf and her are faring in the great orangey unknowns of Jasper. He bargains for five more minutes and luckily his mum obliges. They are about to begin the third and final deciding round of the race, when they hear something odd.

A boy. Screaming. Getting louder. No, no. Closer. They watch on in stunned awe as a boy riding a sleek navy blue motorcycle skitters his way down to them from a higher ledge where the highway was built.

Same conversations happen, but Jess is there and gives a small wiggly-finger wave to the newcomers. Jack and the motorcycle.

She knows Jack is looking at her with surprise. 'How could she know the motorcycle was alive?' Well, she didn't. She thought a ghost was possessing it and shifting its structure somehow, or otherwise altering their perception of reality.

When Arcee transforms, however. That is when she senses something else at play. The motorcycle indeed harbours a soul. But it is not a dead one. The imitation of a heartbeat she practically feels - this is a living thing. A person.

An alien.

She skates over to Raf and Jack, tugging on their hands in silent plea to leave and possibly come back another time. Her cry doesn't fall on deaf ears, and another's captures someone else's full attention.

Raf yells at a Vehicon stamping his metal foot down on Bumblebee. "Big mistake," Jack all but remarks before starting to guide them away from the giant purple robot. They hear a sound of gradually accumulating energy looming behind them. They scramble frantically but in determined bursts of adrenaline to a huge pipe laying out in the open.

Jess, wearing roller skates and having not been given a chance to take them off, is helped up and through by Raf and Jack giving her support on both sides.

They wait out the battle, once they can't hear any semblance of the warring robots, they begin to walk back to town on the side of the road. They take turns getting to know each other with would you rather questions and then the game 21 Questions.

Jess was kinda sad that Jack wants them to pretend like nothing happened. After all, things like these don't always occur in Jasper. Besides, since they all saw it, they wouldn't have any qualms believing each other about the incident.

The next day comes by and school goes on as usual. Although there are a few awkward glances between Jack and Jess about yesterday in class (Jess usually has a straight face, this is no exception).

But then tension begins rising again. Especially when Bumblebee, as they learn is they yellow and black robots name, offers to give Raf a ride. Thankfully, Raf asks him to allow Jess in too, although Bumblebee likely became curious as to why Jess didn't speak. Maybe she couldn't speak just like him...?

On the way to base, Raf introduces himself and Jess. All three are surprised when Raf can understand his beeps, but Jess chalks it up to Raf and his obsession with computer coding and programs, possibly giving him subconscious insight to interpret the meaning of Bumblebee's beeps. He also gives Bee a bit of background info on how Jess traded ghostly sight for her voice. Bumblebee is still slightly confused, but thinks it's a neat ability for her to have.

And then, they almost smack into a firm towering rock formation.

Personally, I also think tingling feet can be about you feeling energy as it enters your body. Entry points are usually crown, feet, and hands. Like my scalp tingles when I get some information from spirit because it’s entering my head. So whatever thoughts come to mind when this happens, look at that but also remember your energy is entering from the root chakra so you need to understand that colors the energy. It’s different from crown down.

The Children under the House (Analog Horror) X Transformers Prime AU Part 1:

Grown up Jessica. The children were able to move on, but she kept the ability to see spirits in exchange for her voice. Why? So she could help people, just like Ms. Julia. Sweet girl.

Anyways, she's around 16 maybe 17. Her family actually used to live in Jasper, Nevada. They move back, but when Jessica tries to communicate with her old friends through drawings and learning sign language, they don't accept it. Either her old friends shun her, her old friends' parents shun her, or the latter.

Of course Jessica is heartbroken. She missed them the entire time she was at Cate's Crossing. To compensate, she decides to set up posters around town about her abilities to speak with the dead and offer to help with any supernatural interference. The entire Jasper Memorial High School thinks she's crazy or seeking attention. Her old friends probably bully her too. Yet, she does manage to secure one job.

Rafael Esquivel had been tasked by his family with finding a paranormal exterminator, whether it existed in the current moment or not. He sees a small flier on the school's bulletin board and decides to call Jessica over to assess the situation. If not to fix the problem of items constantly misplaced and destroyed, then to give him a break from his family's superstitious nagging.

Oh, would you look at that! Jessica finds out there is an young couple (20-25) whose spirits still roam the house because they were both killed in a tragic kitchen explosion. The reason they hadn't moved on was because they were having a heated argument about little miss innocent cheating on mr. husbando with a 65 yr old sugar mommy, also hence the forgotten unplugging of the kitchen cooktop.

Jess somehow manages in helping them let go of their regret by telling them some depressing but comforting stuff via her drawings. Raf is gobsmacked but also incredibly impressed and terrified.

From then on Raf and Jess hang out at school. And outside of school, seeing as Jessica could become Raf's older sister from how close she gets to his family after helping them with the ghosts. Vincent often tries picking on them, but with Jess there, he's more hesitant. Especially when she starts busting out the cryptic google translate messages and staring at him unblinking.
