Land of the living
If they follow the rules that since V4 Cinder can't step on living land except through magical means (e.g. Raven's teleport - underworld passage ala Persephone via her being the Spring Maiden (Kore, another name for Persephone, means Maiden)) and/or walks in symbolic dead places (e.g. the place where Fria is kept in a symbolic coffin, the Vaults, the Yellow Brick Road, even the 'underworld' she's kept enslaved in as a little girl, even the passage of travel to Atlas is at night and she brings up when she first brought Death) because she is symbolically dead as she is cursed with a Dark Curse (Grimm, the figment of death and despair) and magically enslaved (enslavement is death - technically speaking even since she's been onscreen she's been in the living world through subterfuge, a figure of death cloaked as something else until she reveals herself and takes Ozpin and Pyrrha's lives), then that means...
Well, it's why she can't go to the 'underworld' (which is called Ever After - it seems like it's a Special World, maybe a 'more alive'/magical world as opposed to a literal underworld, but monomythically serves the same thing) and why she couldn't be reborn in the same sequence of the Yellow Brick Road that everybody else was (or not having passed through but fallen down). That's why she turned right around. She's symbolically dead and can't be reborn yet.
(That is also why Penny dies in the Yellow Brick Road and then Winter can finally pass through from the dead Vault. All Maidens are Death and Maidens. You can read more here).
As I have written about here, autumn represents multifaceted ideas (more than winter = death, spring = life) and I think there's a reason they've chosen to centre their main character, Ruby, in it, along with Cinder (and Jaune). Of course you might be wondering why a story which rejects literal resurrection might celebrate symbolic resurrection, but this is just a way to represent themes of reconciling with life and death (redemption and healing), spiritual death that can be healed, and complete redemption of the world of Remnant, Ozlem, and the relationship between humanity and the Grimm. There's so much packed in there that is simply described with these ideas interacting, so there's room for nuance.
I had really wondered if the reason she rejected the rebirth of the Yellow Brick Road was because of rejected growth, but it's because it's literally symbolically inappropriate for her right now. It's not the right context. From a more simplistic structural consideration her redemption arc has only just started, she's not at its nadir yet.
Add in the fact that the rebirth will presumably involve Ruby's silver eyes - removing the figure of magical enslavement and the symbolic figure that makes her explicitly Death (awarded to her after her first sequential kill in the story, but take note it's associated with all her enslavement) - and likely Jaune's Semblance (for spiritual rebirth) then of course it's not happening for her yet.
So I wonder what the 'land of the living' is going to look like or if it's only going to be represented symbolically - e.g. she finally walks on living land without magical aid or bringing death to others and she's accompanied by major figures of life (Ruby and Jaune) whom she's fully reconciled with (as Shadow and animus). That would be pretty major.
One of the things I wonder about if this were deliberate or not is that the fact Cinder is enslaved and has to navigate the world through subterfuge, that means symbolically/visually associated dead places are probably just more likely for her to be sequestered to, and it may not be a hard-and-fast rule - but it did make me happy writing this lol.

Bringing forth magick through the colors of Viadescioism:
All you need to do to call upon the kna of a specific color is to allow them to be in your proximity so that the kna emanating from them can commune with you. This can be done in many different ways, and one way would be to get specific colored candles or other forms of tools so that when they are being used, they will also emit that certain color kna along with the other kna that they usually produce. Another way that you could bring colored kna into your practice would be to wear a specific color of clothing that is the color that you wish to invoke the kna of. You could also visualize that color to bring that kna to you, allowing it to be used in situations where you might not have a physical representation of it. The basic idea of all of this is for you to find a way in which you will interact with the color so that that color kna can interact with you in your daily life. This will allow you to benefit from the kna that it produces and use it in your magickal practice. Below is a list of different colors and their metaphysical correspondences that can be invoked by bringing that color into your routine.
These colors align themselves well with Viadescioism and act as symbols for it. 1.     A – Ailim
Tree: Elm
Symbolism: Ailim Correspondences
Mundane Aspects: When this symbol appears, it means it's time to start looking at the big picture; see the trees, but also acknowledge the forest. Be aware that your perception includes long-term goals and ideas, and prepare for what may be coming along the path.
Magical Aspects: Mark your progress well as you grow and develop spiritually. As you attain new levels of wisdom, look at the future and see where this new knowledge will take you. Also recognize that there will be others following in your footsteps, so make yourself available to guide them and give them a hand when they need it.
 2.     O – Onn
Tree: Gorse Bush/Furze
Symbolism:
Ohn Correspondences
Mundane Aspects: Whatever you've been looking for is right around the corner–keep pursuing your goals, because they are within your reach. If you aren't sure what path you should be on or which direction you should head, sit down and make a list of goals. Figure out the destination, and then you'll be able to focus on the journey.
Magical Aspects: Your spiritual journey has provided you with an abundance of gifts. Don't keep these blessings to yourself–share them with others! If you've been asked to take on a role as leader or mentor, now is the time to do so.
3.     U – Uhr
Tree: Heather Plant
Symbolism:
Uhr Correspondences
Mundane Aspects: When this symbol appears, it means it's time to de-stress. Look inside yourself for healing if your body needs it, and don't delay. Listen to what your physical self is telling you. Remember how closely our physical well-being and emotional health are tied together.
Magical Aspects: Blend the energy of the spirit with the healing of the body. Focus on whole healing–body, mind and spirit–to build a healthy soul. Meditate on this symbol to increase your spiritual awareness. If you're feeling a bit fragmented, mentally, burn some Heather to help you gather your thoughts back together.
4.     E – Eadhadh
Tree: Aspen
Symbolism: Endurance, Courage
Eadhadh Correspondences
Mundane Aspects: Like the Aspen, you can be flexible without snapping. No matter what obstacles come, allow yourself to know that these too will be gone eventually. You will be left stronger for the experience, if you can get over your fears and reservations.
Magical Aspects: Don't give in to the pressures of the material world. Focus instead on your spiritual journey, even if it seems like it would be a lot easier to give up and let things fall by the wayside. Even in the Tarot, the Fool knows he has a long way to go, but the first step is the hardest. When Eadhadh appears, put aside your distractions, and take that first all-important step on your journey.
5.     I – Iodhadh

Iodhadh Correspondences
Mundane Aspects: Although it may not represent spiritual death, if Iodhadh appears, it's a sign that major transitions are coming. Be aware of them, and realize that although not all of them are bad, they will probably be pretty significant. Now's a good time to get rid of things which are of no use to you, in order to make room for new beginnings.
Magical Aspects: Changes are on the way, so quit clinging to beliefs and ideas that no longer serve you well. Shed the old, and welcome the new. Accept change for what it is–an asset–and stop seeing it as an obstacle. Don't fear new things, embrace them.

Tree- Birch
Symbolism: New Beginings, change, release, rebirth
Beith Correspondences
Mundane Aspects: When this symbol appears, it means it's time to get rid of all those negative influences you've been carrying around with you. Instead of being dragged down by the negative, focus on the positive things you have in your life, the blessings and abundance. Use these things as a focus, rather than the harmful or damaging ones.

     The Wiccan Triple Goddess
The Goddess represents the feminine, nurturing side of Deity -intuitive, creative, and magical. She is the inner nature of Deity -the origin of the external Universe.
Thus the Goddess is the Creator, the Source - the God emerges from Her, when She sets the Universe into motion. The God is the Goddess’ Divine Child, formed from Her inner nature, Her “Other Self” as the Vangelo delle Streghe puts it. The God is also the Divine Consort, Whose union with the Goddess describes existence as we know it.
In this sense, the Goddess and the God are the polar forces also termed Yin and Yang. Yin, the Feminine, spiritual, emotive aspect of Deity which is within all things and Whose presence gives all things life. Yang the Masculine, physical, volatile aspect of Deity which manifests in motion and action and Whose permutations build up the outer form of things.
In Wicca, the Goddess is primarily revered through Her form as the Triple Goddess. As the God is often represented by the Sun, the Goddess is often represented by the Moon, and its three phases are taken as instructive as to the nature of Her being; the Waxing Moon representing creation and inspiration, embodied in the Maiden Goddess. The Full Moon representing fruition and sustenance, embodied in the Mother Goddess. And the Waning Moon representing fulfilment and endings embodied in the Crone Goddess.
THE MAIDEN
The Maiden is the Young Goddess of Spring and new beginnings. She is the Goddess of the Dawn, of youthfulness, the anticipation of life and fresh potential. The Maiden is the Goddess of art, creativity and self-expression of beauty, intelligence, and skill. The Maiden is manifest in action and self-confidence, exploration and discovery.  She is sometimes called the Virgin.  The term virgin in this instance does not mean physical virginity, it means that the young Goddess is independent - She is responsible for Her own actions, She knows who She is and does not answer to anyone but Herself.  The Maiden is aware of Her sexuality and can either hold it at bay or abandon Herself to it.   As the Huntress and Mistress of the Woodlands, She is both a friend and companion to all young creatures and a skilled hunter.  She is the armed keeper of the Universal Laws of Balance and can mete out punishment swiftly and dispassionately if needed.
You may experience the Goddess in Her form as Maiden when you look upon a newborn child or experience a beautiful sunset. She is the continuation of all life, gifting us with the ability to find delight in the simple pleasures of the world – a butterfly in summer, sunlight on water, the stillness of a forest – all are within the realm of the Maiden Goddess. The Maiden’s magick is strongly connected to Nature and natural magick; She can inspire you with new ideas or lead you along a path that is new to you. She can give you a fresh new way to look at something. The Maiden may make Her presence known to you mentally without warning when you least expect it.  She shows us the way to spiritual centeredness, running ahead of us enticing us to follow Her down the path that we fear the most -  the way that leads us through the labyrinth of our minds into our own subconsciousness.
The Waxing Moon is the Maiden's Moon.  Her colours are white and pink symbolic of innocence and newness.  The Maiden loves wild flowers especially white ones. The Maiden's animals are all wild animals, especially the Owl and the Deer.
Maiden Goddesses:
Artemis -  (Greek) eternal Virgin Goddess, Lady of the forests and hunting, and also of birth.
Blodewedd - (Celtic) This Spring Goddess was created by magic from nine spring flowers to be the wife of Llew Llaw. This got around the curse Arianhod had placed upon her son preventing him from taking a human wife.
Brigid - (Celtic) In her maiden aspect this Goddess is honoured at the festival of Imbolc which celebrates the first stirrings of Spring.
Chalchihuitlicue - Wife of Tlaloc, the God of Rains for the Aztec, was called the Precious Jeweled Lady, and had in her aspects associated with the Maiden like flowers, spring and the beauty of youth.
Diana -  (Roman) Goddess of the Crescent Moon and the Hunt.  She is the virgin Goddess of childbirth and women. Oak groves are sacred to Diana.
Flora - (Roman) The Goddess of flowering plants, especially those that bore fruit. Her festival, the Floralia, took place in April or early May and was marked with dancing, drinking, and flowers.
Freya - (Nordic) This Nordic fertility Goddess is linked with spring growth and flowers.
Hebe - (Greek) The Goddess of eternal youth and Spring.
Kore - (Greek) Kore is an alternative name for the Greek Goddess Persephone.
Ostara - (Celtic) Painted eggs and white rabbits are sacred to Ostara, the Celtic Goddess of Spring, fertility and rebirth. Her symbols have been incorporated into the Christian celebration of Easter.
Ninniane - Also called Nimue, in the Arthurian myth. She was Merlin's protege and was courted by him. Nimue locked Merlin in a cave to ward off his constant advances.
Parvati - (Hindu)  Maiden of affirmations and love, She became Shiva's, the Lord of Destruction, mate.
Persephone or  Proserpina - Persephone means maiden. She was the daughter of Demeter, who was kidnapped by Hades and reigns with him in the Underworld, for the dark half of the year.  Spring arrives when Persephone leaves Hades and joins her Mother.
Rhiannon - (Celtic) Maiden who is the "Divine Queen of the Faeries".  She is a Goddess of movement and change, who remains steadfast and comforting in times of crisis and loss.
THE MOTHER
The Mother aspect of the Triple Goddess is perhaps the easiest for humans to understand and identify with.  The image of the physical mother caring for, nurturing, protecting and loving her children is easily translated to the Mother Goddess. She is associated with confident adulthood and parenthood, She is summertime and the ripening of crops, She is procreation of all things earthly and universal, She is the highest point of all cycles and the sustainer of the Universe. She is the fullness of life, She turns the Wheel of all the seasons, and is the repository of all knowledge. She is the Earth Mother and the Sky Mother who walks beside us into the Labyrinth of Mysteries. The Universe is Her child and She loves and cares for it, providing it with inexhaustible resources from within Herself, even as a mother nurses Her infant from the milk of her breasts.
Her colour is red, the colour of blood and the life-force that courses through us all.  Her season is summer and Her Moon is Full. Her symbol is the Cauldron, the churning pot of regeneration. The Mother Goddess rules the Sabbats of Beltane, Litha and Lammas.  She shares Winter Solstice with the Maiden and the Crone.
The Mother Goddess teaches us to accept responsibility and to understand the consequences of our own actions. She will guide us towards self-discipline and patience, so that we may grow spiritually into balanced adulthood. She teaches us to reach out to others with loving energy, and to spiral into our Divine centre to both give and receive love. All acts of love are Her rituals. She does not want us to live lives filled with deprivation or chained to addictions, excesses or other forms of self- harm. The Mother Goddess actively works magick to bring us into harmony, happiness and freedom. Just like a human Mother, she wants the very best for us and will help us.  All we need to do is reach out to Her. The Mother Goddess nurtures all creation and is filled with love for all, yet, like a real mother, She will not hesitate to mete out discipline when necessary. Work against Her laws of Universal balance, portray yourself as one who has all the answers or is spiritually enlightened without having done the background work of self-discipline, self- understanding, and responsibility, and She will bring you back to reality!
Mother Goddess magick is most powerful at the Full Moon. Call upon Her for spells involving fruition, protection, healing, protection, guidance, marriage or life partners, gardening, animals, choices, peace, psychic direction and spiritual awakening.

THE CRONE
The Crone represents the Goddess in Her aspect as Elder. The Crone is the Wise Woman, the Witch, the Matriarch. The Crone is the Goddess of Death, and magic, and the Spirit realm. She is the Goddess of Wisdom, visions, and guidance. Hers is the height of spiritual power, for She is the Great Sorceress Who creates Her will through magic. Goddess of Transformation, the Crone is the Destroyer Who dissolves outmoded forms, allowing new growth to occur.
The Crone Goddess aspect of the Triple Goddess may be the least understood and feared of the three aspects.   The Crone deals with the end of cycles and death; She has been called the Terrible Mother, the Dark Mother, the Hag and the Wise One. She is the gateway to death and re-birth, Her wise council teaches us spiritual completion, and the deepest of all mysteries - that without death there is no rebirth. Her cauldron awaits each of us, “All things living are mine own, from me they come, to me they go.” The Crone Goddess is winter, night, outer space, the abyss, menopause, and the advancement of age.  She is the natural end of all cycles.
Her colour is black, the absorber of all light, and the colour of darkness where all life rests before rebirth. Her season is winter and Her Moon is the Waning Moon. Her symbols are Lantern of truth and wisdom which She uses to guide us, and the Key which is symbolic of unlocking the deep mysteries. The Crone Goddess rules the Sabbat of Samhain.  She shares Winter Solstice with the Maiden and the Crone.
The Crone teaches us prophecy and will guide us to remember the past and see into the future. She is the Keeper of the Akashic Records, which are the details of our past lives.  Her guidance through trance work and the spirit world can lead us to past life memories so that we may focus our energies into learning the lessons of this life before passing into the next one. The Crone dispenses justice with love and sorrow, keeping the balance and upholding the laws. To have a relationship with the Crone you must seek Her out. She will offer you a comforting hand when, as with all living things, we must face the death of a loved one or the ending of our own life. She will bring to you the deep understanding that death is the necessary phase that must happen before rebirth.
Crone Goddess magick is most powerful at the Dark Moon. Call upon Her for spells involving harvesting, resting, past life meditations and pathworking, endings, ageing, divorce, rest, retribution, death, protection from physical or psychic attacks, trance work to communicate with the Spirit world.

COMMUNITY
8
Essential meanings: Community; belonging; being seen and understood by others; like-minded connections; a sense of family and friendship; knowing your place in the world.
The Oracle's Message: This card signals that a new group of like-minded people is entering your life now. Humans are social creatures, and we need to know we are useful to our families and communities. In a community, everyone has an important function and feels “I matter.” Membership in the group provides a sense of belonging, of family, and of purpose that comes from working together for the greater fulfillment of all. Perhaps you are part of a spiritual community, or an artistic one. Perhaps you are in a learning community where you share your love of education. Regardless of its form or focus, you will feel good about your community. You will be inspired by it and want to contribute to it. Your contribution may be as small as showing up or as large as becoming its leader. No matter your position in the tribe, your presence is needed.
Relationship message: You’re in a place of discovering the essential aspects that you share with another—and perhaps also those you don’t share. There are times when you follow and the other person leads, and times when you lead and the other follows. The appearance of this card points to the importance of learning the proper “dance” between you and another. Accepting the truth that everyone has flaws is part of that dance. Yet you are also being asked you to be aware of the dynamics that you don’t want to repeat. You’re in the perfect place to make changes in order to experience the best version of who you are together.
Prosperity message: Whenever you’re in a community of like-minded others, there is a powerful opportunity to reap great abundance. It’s essential to ask, What can I contribute? rather than What can I get from this? Find a need and look to fill it. Something meaningful will manifest. Even if what manifests is small, it is a sign that the doors of opportunity will swing open wider. There is also another meaning of this card to consider: Don’t try to be all things to all people. Choose your role and be true to it, and serve from a sense of authenticity. There is no greater sense of accomplishment than knowing you have purpose.

A CHANGE IN THE WIND
12
Essential meanings: A sense that unseen change has been initiated; preparation for a storm; awareness that your plans are not on firm ground; feeling a shift; uncertainty about which direction the winds will blow.
The Oracle's Message: We all yearn for certainty and resist change. It’s human nature to want the world to remain consistent like a zebra’s stripes. Yet nothing in our experience is black and white, nor will anything remain static. The one thing we are guaranteed is change. Now is a time of transformation as outer conditions are temporarily moving out of sync with your desires and expectations. Stay curious and remember even storms serve to clear the air, scatter seeds, and nourish the soil for better things ahead. Life is about to get interesting. Anticipate it with curiosity as you wonder what is coming in on the shifting winds. The unknown is where the magic lies.
Relationship message: Relationships go through periods where partners seem out of sync with each other and stormy emotions and moods threaten to take down the ship. Perhaps someone has a change of heart and leaves. Changes offer opportunities for mutual growth, a way for you to understand your own heart better and to know what you need to make you truly happy. Rest assured that whatever is happening now, good will come from it. Take temporary shelter and remove yourself from drama. The air will clear, and everything will be fresh and new again. This, too, shall pass.
Prosperity message: As you endeavor to create a prosperous life, you may encounter unexpected shifts that cause you to reverse directions. This is a good thing, so there is nothing to fear. Perhaps an opportunity you sought went to someone else. Perhaps you’ve pursued something that you suddenly realize is not in your highest good. You might not be 100 percent clear on where you need to go, but you are certain that things are not going as planned. Circumstances are not in your control right now. Wait it out. All will be well—even better, actually. Trust.
Tumblr media
REGENERATION
REGENERATION
Essential meanings: Rebirth; second chances; new opportunities.
The Oracle's Message: Second chances are available to you now. Whatever opportunities you thought were dead are springing forth with new life, in a more authentic, stronger, and more powerful form. Whatever you may have perceived as a failure or loss is now being replaced by something better than you can imagine growing in its place. This rebirth is assured. Step into your new life. Destiny is being fulfilled in wondrous ways.
Relationship message: The world is based on connections and relationships. No matter what has happened in the past or even now for loss, death and endings are only illusions. There is life after death, love after loss, and in this moment, you are blooming with the regenerating life-force energy that makes you irresistible to love in all forms. Now is the time that you will see evidence of this new emergence. Can you feel it? Love is rising up to greet you.
Prosperity message: What happens when it appears that you’ve failed at something? Do you see the beauty in the lesson? The understanding that comes from difficulties is like a seed that lies dormant for a time. Then, when the time is right, new life begins to spring forth. Success begins to bloom and delight you. It is becoming apparent that there is a new you, a new start. There is a more powerful version and form of what you began to plant in the garden of your imagination. New opportunities are much better than those that came before and appear as if as a gift from the gods. Now is one of those times when out of seeming loss and failure comes remarkable abundance. Do not dwell on the past because you really are experiencing a rebirth.

The JOURNEY
29
THE MEDICINE: The journey is calling you, but the timing is premature. Collecting postcards or fantasies of where you want to go may take over your focus and make you miss your destiny. Other things must be completed first, or you may still be attached to knowing the destination. Remember that the point of the journey is not the destination; it’s who you will become as you are transformed along the way. Do not confuse the inner and the outer journey.
Tumblr media
The GHOST DANCE
22
THE ESSENCE: The Ghost Dance of the American Plains Indians united the spirits of the living with those of the ancestors to bring peace to the world. When the ancestors are honored, they bring harmony to us. When we hold them responsible for all that is wrong with us today, they haunt us. Honor the spirits of the ancestors and receive their lessons and gifts. This includes honoring your own past lives!
THE INVITATION: The ancestors have a message of healing and a powerful medicine to offer you. Create a sacred moment at your altar, light a candle to them, and let their wisdom infuse you. At this stage in your life, you are done repeating their tragic stories. Step into the abundance that is offered to you, receive the gifts of those that have come before you, and write a new story for your life.
Tumblr media
The CURSE
14
THE ESSENCE: The Curse refers to the limiting stories of our ancestors, and the karma from former lifetimes that preordains the events of our lives. It is the source of negative patterns, and it can show up as a disease, a destructive force, or a blockage on our creative energy. The curse holds us hostage to a false story that we confuse for reality. Recognizing the original wound that is playing out in our life can heal it.
THE INVITATION: It is time to recognize the source of your limitations. Did your grandparents live with a mind-set of scarcity? Did you inherit genes for heart disease? Were you a slave or a master in a past life? This karmic legacy is ready and waiting to be seen, to be untangled, and to be released. Honor the players and their stories. Forgive everyone and everything. Craft a new life course for yourself!

Jupiter Conjunct Pluto ~ These Times of Change Create Incredible Opportunities
Jupiter Conjunct Pluto ~ These Times of Change Create Incredible Opportunities
By Tania Gabrielle
One of the most fortunate conjunctions in astrology – Jupiter conjunct Pluto – takes place on April 4th in the Americas and April 5th in the rest of the world!
Bottom line: These times of change create incredible opportunities.
In particular – your ability to transmute and transcend fear is exponential.
Let’s put it into context.
Jupiter conjunct Pluto in Capricorn happens in the same sign of the recent Stellium in Capricorn between Saturn (old age, teacher, plans, time, discipline) and Pluto (life-death-rebirth, transformation, purging, empowerment) in January along with the Sun and Mercury.
Jupiter enhances everything you’re focusing your attention on.
Since Pluto empowers through transformation, you are confronting your deepest fears.
If you feel anxious and disempowered, just accept that you are identifying your worth using the old hierarchical programming. (Neglecting your intuition and intelligence in favor of external expectations and belief systems). It’s OK…don’t resist it – just acknowledge it.
Your acceptance brings clarity. Now you know you have a choice:
Plug into the fear – the currency of control.
OR
Explore a high vibrational path of liberation.
Never before has there been more opportunity to relinquish the control through fear from our whole existence.
Fear, above all, has stopped you from thriving.
And yes, Jupiter conjunct Pluto is an opportunity to change that – by returning your HEART to the song of miracles.
Pluto = power and passion.
Jupiter = joy and justice.
Opportunities for positive, passionate expansion through spiritual justice are remarkable now.
The truth about Jupiter conjunct Pluto is that, if you act on high vibrational intentions, the potential for major achievement, happiness and hope is astounding.
As you focus your energy on what is for your highest good, you set in motion waves of happiness well into the future.
Nothing can sway you from the river of cleansing… no one can discourage you from seeing your destiny.
Setbacks only strengthen, obstacles only deepen your resolve.
In turn you understand what it means to have “mastery of each moment”.
You know your path is aligned with prosperity.
Tune into your liberation by seeking only truth, happiness and love.
Allow Jupiter conjunct Pluto to transcend the current intensity by tuning into INSPIRATION.
Jupiter/Pluto heralds that a change for the better just arrived.
Your prayers are being answered.
At last you can facilitate a quick release from old programming.
Don’t resist what appears.
Remain at peace, centered and calm.
You’ll know to the core of your being what is true and who is of the Light.
Don’t discount what you uncover.
Just keep inviting the waves of love and light to cleanse away the past.
We are living in remarkable times.
And this is a remarkable conjunction.
Have a wonderful Jupiter/Pluto celebration this weekend!
You are a Gift to the world.
Love and Blessings,
Tania Gabrielle
P.S. A student in our Numerology Academy community asked about the exact time of the conjunction to create a prayer wave around the world. Since Jupiter and especially Pluto are slow-moving planets, the time of exactitude is 3.5 hours long:
The Jupiter/Pluto conjunction is exact at 24° 53” Capricorn between 5:03 pm – 8:32 pm PDT and 8:03 pm – 11:32 pm EDT on April 4th, and 1:03 am – 4:32 am UT (London) on April 5th.
The exact midpoint of the conjunction is at 6:47 pm PDT, 9:47 pm EDT on April 4, and 2:47 am UT on April 5th.

Let's start with the monthly items; herbs, sacred salt, anointing oil, incense, stone/crystal, spell candle and BOS artwork.
Tumblr media
Herbs
Lemon Balm Herb. Gender: Feminine Planet: Moon Element: water
This herb was used by Beekeepers in the Temple of Artemis to keep honeybees content. These plants promoted a sense of homeliness for them so they stay within their hives and nurture the relationships within their community. This intention is still used, for Magickal ritual, to promote a sense of Friendship, Love and Well-Being within our homes. Can be sprinkled around the outside of your home or used in sachets to share with friends and loved ones.
Chamomile Herb. Gender: Masculine Planet: Sun Element: Water Magickal Attributes: Love, Money, Purification, Protection
Chamomile has been used in incense to clear and cleanse our Sacred Space. Can also be used in sachets and charms to dispel curses and spells cast against you. As well as placed inside of your tub during bath rituals to attract love.
Watercress Herb.
An elemental herb, it has been a sacred symbol of the Undines, bringing forth profound visions and enlightenment. A perfect herb to enchant candles by being pushed or placed upon the wax so you may have a stronger connection to your visualizations during Ritual or Meditation.
Sacred Salt

Created with a full and vibrant heart, to charge you with the beauty of Love and Compassion. It acts as a magnet to those things that we desperately need to enhance our lives and practice.
As a Mother Goddess, Yemaya is fiercely protective of all of her children, the fortunate and the disenfranchised. She cares deeply for all people, providing comfort during times of intense sorrow or hardship. She oversees the practice of Grace, Love and Forgiveness, Health, Healing and Ancient Wisdom. The African Diaspora, directly resulting from the violent Trans-Atlantic slave trade, transformed the Yoruban Yemaya into a highly syncretized 'Mother of All'. She is a constant champion, working tirelessly to inspire us to be our best selves. Regal and Distinguished, the elegance of Yemaya resides in her non-judgmental, compassionate nature
Incense

Hand-Crafted Shell Wand with Quartz Point
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Inspired by the mystical power brought upon the shore as a sacred offering and gift from the Divine. During meditation, place it over energy centers of the body to realign or balance discordant vibrations. Along with these energies, the Spiral formation is significant to our Sacred Space. A symbol of Spiritual Development and Rebirth, this ancient form has shared wisdom throughout the ages. As the cycles shown in this spiral continue to form, the bring assurance that our journey also continues to grow and change. While we work towards breaking through barriers in our personal, professional, spiritual and emotional growth, we remember that is it necessary to move forward, as is the natural order.
Born of Earth and Water, shells are treasures from an invisible world. They occupy a Sacred Space between shore and tide, revealed by the ebbing and glowing influence of the Moon. The powerful receptive energies imbued in shells help to draw in all good things, emanating transformative healing energies, an serving as communicative messengers to our elemental guardians and earthly ancestors. When meditating, the shell paired with the quartz crystal acts as a protective barrier to would-be invasive energies, helping to repair damage to the aura.
This box was definitely full of some beautiful items and I am very happy to have them. The wand alone feels so powerful and i fell calm when it is in my hands.

Find The Best Quantum Healing Hypnosis Practitioner
Tumblr media
Dolores Cannon journeyed the world, practicing her Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique for healing and past life regression to scores of people. It's worth noting that QHHT Practitioners have access to multiple levels of training and continuous study.
Dolores Cannon's process involves generating a sleepwalking condition of meditation in a person by visualizing. Dolores found how to connect the spirituality that is present in everyone and is eternally aware and effective through her technique. As she has discovered, this aspect of ourselves is always with us and dwells just beyond the level of our conscious mind. As a result, she correctly named it ‘The Subconscious.' The subconscious is what allows finding the right QHHT practitioners near me to access former lives and do immediate healings when necessary.
Dolores and her followers have been able to investigate and find solutions to most of life's mysteries by connecting and talking with this amazing power. The subconscious's restoration was almost instantaneous. It doesn't care about a person's age, gender, medical symptoms, or family background.
Dolores has included her results in her books, along with a wide range of information gleaned from her QHHT consultations.
Tumblr media
The Major Steps of QHHT Sessions are:
1. Past Life Regression (PLR) Therapy
2. Activate Subconscious Mind
3. Effective Healing Process for Pain Relief and Other Illness
The Positive Effects of Past-Life Regression and Reincarnation
Reincarnation, or the idea of rebirth, is an intriguing religion that many nations and categories of people believe in. While it is most commonly associated with religions, the concept of reincarnation can also be presented in other forms, such as regression treatment. Reincarnation hypnosis is used in past-life regression therapy to retrieve past lives, memories, and facts through several phases of incarnations.
Tumblr media
Many practitioners, psychologists, and therapists try to employ past-life regression treatment to overcome anxieties, worries, cope with everyday difficulties, and understand the world.
Being receptive to the idea of reincarnation, particularly through past-life regression therapy, has proven to be beneficial to those with mental illnesses, helping them to enjoy more happy and meaningful lives.
Although there are deniers, nonbelievers, and other theories, past-life regressions can be incredibly useful, transforming, and profound.

Sup witches? So I've had this Sacred Circle tarot deck since I was about thirteen and I have always loved the pagan/Celtic symbolism ingrained in each image. Basic Color Magick, And Correspondences
Color can be a powerful tool that you can bring into your practice. By calling upon these specific energies you will be able to energize your desires through the colors that you interact with. This is a very simple, and useful form of magick that can be used in so many different applications in ritual, and spellcraft. All you need to do in order to call upon the energies of a specific color is to allow them to be in your proximity, so that the energy emanating from them can commune with you. This can be done in many different ways, one way would be to get specific colored candles, or other forms of tools, so that when they are being used they will also emit that certain color energy along with the other energies that they normally produce. Another way that you could go about bringing colored energy into your practice would be to wear a specific color clothing that is the color that you wish to invoke the energies of. You could also visualize that color in order to bring that energy to you allowing it to be used in situations where you might not have a physical representation of it. The basic idea of all of this is for you to find a way in which you will interact with the color so that that colors energy can interact with you in your daily life. Head cannons for precious giant one
I love Hachi and the man deserves way more love that he’s usually given by the public so here are some Head cannons for my favorite giant.
• Hachi used to be the oldest member of their friend group. He had a good century or two on most of the others, but when it comes to their Rebirth as Vizards he’s now roughly the 5th oldest. He’s very cool with this, says that it makes an old soul like him feel young again.
• Hachi is actually small for his size if you can believe it. He comes from a family of high powered individuals with the genes to cause the severe increase in size and height. He is the smallest of the giants and is the younger brother of the gate guardian Danzomaru.
• Hachi was sent to the academy to potentially activate some sort of spiritual pressure related growth spurt or start to gain the same muscle most guardians have, but the runt of the litter was drawn to quiet corners of the libraries where he buried himself in information about the demon arts. Fighting with a blade or hand-to-hand didn’t feel good or comfortable, but being able to create something amazing from a few words felt so…right. By the time he reaches his third year he’s tutoring the sixth years in advanced Kido and graduates early to join as a seated member of the kido corps.
• Hachi’s hair color is naturally black. Back in the day he started dyeing it to distance himself from being recognized as someone related to his brute of a brother. He totally blew everyone’s minds when it turned out that the pink wasn’t natural after he it started to grow back during exile. In order to hide better, because a giant man with pink hair is a lot easier to find than a giant man with black hair, he shaved his head and beard and didn’t start dyeing it again until they were sure they weren’t being followed anymore. As a gift on their 75th birthday as Vizards, Tessai shows him a spell he created and Hachi no longer has to dye his hair because the spell uses his huge spiritual pressure as a vizard to continually cause his hair to come out his favorite shade of pink dye that was discontinued three years prior.
• Hachi’s an ace and aromantic. His family didn’t approve when he decided not to marry to carry on the Ushoda name, but he’s married to his kido and very happy just having his friends. The Vizards don’t even flinch at it.
o “I’m not attracted to anyone sexually or romantically. I’m an aromantic asexual.”
o “That’s nice Hach, now can you pass the soy sauce?”
• Hachi met Shinji a short while after Shinji became a captain, roughly around the same time that Hiyori was revealed to be the legendary lieutenant of the twelfth division. Shinji sought out assistance in getting a barrier up around a massive hollow nest and Hachi went in place of Tessai to do the work, and Shinji immediately decided that Hachi was to become one of his friends. By the end of the week Hachi has become one of the Hirako clique and feels right at home with these people.
• Hachi had to relearn kido after his hollowfication. Every spell he attempted was a pretty decent impression of what Renji Abarai would be like in the future. He had to break down every spell and tailor them to be able to suit people of their power levels, he wasn’t the only one left with little control of their kido, and along the way be began to redo some of the spells to make them simpler and more powerful. He basically rewrote the book on kido. To this day he’s still working on a new manuscript of a better kido repertoire for Soul Reapers.
• Hachi and Hiyori are an odd friendship. They’re pretty good friends for two people who are such polar opposites. She’s teeny-tiny, constantly angry, swing-happy, and focuses more on physical strength whereas Hachi is literally twice her height, 20 times her weight, the most calm Vizard/ soul you’ll ever meet, kido focused, and prefers to work as a support over fight a battle directly. They actually spend a good amount of time working out strategies together and testing each other in battle of will and intelligence when they aren’t off baking something delicious.
• Cutting off that arm during the final battle in the Winter war is on of the things Hachi is most conflicted about. If he didn’t do it, Barragan would have killed them all and that would be bad. At the same time he still hasn’t forgiven himself for what happened to Hiyori. Part of him blames himself, that because of his injury that he wasn’t able to throw up a barrier to either keep her from getting to Aizen, protected her from behind from Ichimaru. He still sees Shinji looking up at him, begging him to heal Hiyori with Kido.
• He won’t ever talk to anyone about what it was like to have to go over and carry Hiyori’s lower half over to where he had a barrier up to protect her while the others went into battle. He won’t ever tell Hiyori how hard is was to not break down sobbing while using what little power he had left to keep her alive long enough for Unohana or Orihime to come by and save her. He still can’t walk through that section of town with out feeling blood and spinal fluid seeping into the knees of his pants and staining his hand.
• He and Love are more than happy to hang out as the two single guys of the grouping. Love and Hachi are like everyone’s older brother and they’re more than willing to go out for a guy’s night or to let the girls drag them along for whatever escapade they want to get into.
• During their travels during their exile, Hachi chose that he wanted to visit Buddhist temples in Asia. They all spent a good portion of a decade hitting up every temple and monastery around the world, enjoying the peace and meditating.
• Tea is life and Hachi has a tea for everything. Good day? Drink some tea. Bad day? Drink this tea. Sick of tea? Don’t worry, try this new flavor Hachi just bought.
• The Vizards have a huge mug collection and Hachi holds the most at 496 mugs out of the 867 mugs that they have at the warehouse. Most of them are nice earthenware mugs that look very sophisticated but he’s a sucker for adorable mugs. He and Mashiro both favor the ones that have the little ceramic statues at the bottom, especially the ones with little animals inside. Do they need all those mugs? No. Do they somehow manage to store all of them at the warehouse and protect the mug hoard at all costs? Absolutely.
• Hachi and Tessai are still very close. Hachi is Tessa’s right hand and never hesitates to come when he calls.
• Like all the other Vizards, he’s always tired and can and will fall asleep anywhere and at anytime. He’s got the weird ability to fall asleep sitting up with his eyes open. Its led to multiple people talking to him and not realizing for nearly ten minutes that he’s not awake.
• During the winter he’s everyone’s favorite person. They like to stay in and snuggle up in blankets and either doze or watch holidays specials, and Hachi is a living heater and not even tough-guy Kensei will pass up a chance to get in on wrapping himself in a blanket and relaxing in the people pile. Eventually Ichigo too joins in on this and Kisuke and Orihime have pictures of the nine of them all conked out wearing sweaters and blankets while leaning up against Hachi.
• Hachi is one of 4 Vizards that can competently cook, but he’s more of a baker. Shinji and Lisa exist purely for when Hachi makes his special triple chocolate-peanut crunch cookies and his brownies are to die (again) for.
• Wins every board game. He’s a master of strategy and will take you down. He’s a beast when it comes to Monopoly, chess, connect 4, any game is his to defeat you in. He’s one of the few people who Kyoraku can’t beat while using his Shikai.
• Hachi does have a zanpaktou, and its not like they don’t get along or anything. Hachi prefers kido and Suimin Kame is perfectly fine with that. They spend plenty of time together in Hachi’s inner world while he meditates. Suimin Kame is a powerful but lazy sword, and Hachi only uses his blade if he’s left no other choice. Suimin Kame is similar to Konamura and Yachiru’s Shikai in which the spirit takes a physical form, a turtle the size of a city block, and he can add to Hachi’s power by amplifying the strength of his spells. Hachi doesn’t like using it because it he uses it for more than a few moments that it could cause him to start to grow again and Hachi doesn’t want to end up the size of his older brother. He doesn’t want to be any more of a giant than he already is.
• Hachi gets his suit from a small shop of spiritually aware tailors who he helped out a few generations ago. They keep the Vizard’s secrets and they’re who they turn to when they need special made clothing.
• He’s much happier being a vizard than he was being an Ushoda. His new family is made of tiny people who are loud, happy, and accept him for who he is. They don’t care about what others think and that’s something he’s aspired to do for as long as he can remember.
• After the Thousand Year Blood war, Hachi returns to the Soul Society to first help rebuild the Kido corps, but rather than rejoin the corps he asks Kyoraku if he could a a reserve Soul Reaper and if he would be able to teach Kido at the academy.
• When they otp couples start having kids, Uncle Hachi becomes number one favorite uncle. He can’t say no because they’re so small and he wants to spoil them rotten every chance he gets. The tiny small ones must be obeyed at all costs.

Buddhism and Ageing: In Praise of Ageing
by Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo
The Lord Buddha described birth, sickness, old age, and death as dukkha, or suffering. If we do not die young, we are all going to experience old age and death. Therefore, ageing is a topic that concerns everyone.
In contemporary society, we find a cult of youth and a denial of the natural course of life towards decay and death. Most people hope to keep looking young and beautiful forever. Indeed, beauty is usually associated with youthfulness. So we find countless books and articles on how to keep old age at a distance and stay young forever. But no matter how many facelifts we undergo or how many exercise and diet regimes we submit to, eventually the body will deteriorate and the likelihood of illness will increase. Deterioration is the nature of all conditioned things. Buddhism faces up to the unpalatable facts of life and death. Buddhism even uses these facts as the path itself, as a means to transcend birth and death.
In more traditional societies, the advent of ageing is seen as natural and is not regarded as something to be avoided or denied for as long as possible. Rather, there is an appreciation that having lived for so long there should likewise be a growth of knowledge and understanding. Old age is often equated with wisdom and experience. The older members of the family are accorded respect and often assume roles as councillors and guides. They have an important role to play in society.
Even in the West, there is the archetypal character of the wise old woman (as well as the witch) and most storybook wizards are elderly. In fact, old wrinkled faces with shining eyes full of love and intelligence often display real beauty.
Unfortunately, even though nowadays women over the age of 50 make up the majority of the population, in the modern social order the elderly are increasingly shunted aside, isolated among their senior contemporaries, and ignored by the world around them. Many feel that their useful days are finished and they have no further contribution to make to society. As a result, old age is something to be dreaded and evaded for as long as possible.
So the question is, how do we deal with our inevitable ageing in a way that makes sense of our life? In traditional Buddhist countries, it is the custom that as our children grow up and leave home, as our professional lives wind down, and as our daily activities become more inwardly directed, we can direct more attention to the Dharma and to setting our lives in order so as to be ready for death and future rebirths.
In traditional Buddhist societies, many older people take the eight precepts and pass their time in meditation or other meritorious activities, such as circumambulating holy objects, making prostrations, chanting, visiting temples, and so on. The Dharma becomes the focus of their lives and they cultivate devotion. In this way, their lives remain meaningful and important, even as the axis of focus shifts.
For women in particular, it often happens that our youth is taken up with acting out the roles that society has determined for us. First, as physical objects of desire we strive to be as attractive and alluring as possible to fulfill male fantasies. Then as wives and mothers, we devote ourselves to nurturing our homes and families. Nowadays, most women also have full-time careers in which they must work hard to keep ahead. Even while enjoying many advantages, women live stress-filled lifestyles designed to meet the expectations of others.
Even in the modern world, however, we are seeing an interesting phenomenon occurring. Many people, especially women, having fulfilled their life’s tasks as wives, mothers, and professionals, are now ready to give their attention to more introspective callings such as the arts, the alternative healing professions, psychology, and the study and practice of spiritual paths. Since these women are often highly educated and motivated, they are able to acquire new skills and extend a positive outreach to the society around them. Rather than spending their declining years merely playing golf or watching TV, their inner spiritual world is now given greater prominence.
Awhile back, I met a group of women living in an affluent small town in Florida who were devoting their later years to sincere spiritual practices and philanthropic activities. These women were benefitting not only their own neighbourhoods, but also reaching out to people in other cultures and lands. They felt very happy and fulfilled to be using their time for the benefit of others as well as themselves.
It seems that the foremost regret expressed by the dying is, “I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.” By contrast, many people I know have remarked that the latter part of their lives has become even more satisfying and meaningful than their earlier years. Now they can discover their own genuine interests rather than merely conforming to societal expectations. Although they accept that their earlier life experience was necessary for what has developed later, like a tree that grows slowly and only in time can reveal its true characteristics, yet they feel that they have finally found their reason for living.
Of course, most of us would prefer a 25-year-old body, but few would choose to return to our 25-year-old mind! So instead of dreading the approach of old age, despite the unavoidable loss of physical and mental flexibility, we can welcome this new stage of life and explore its potential. We have a choice either to view our ageing as the gradual fading of all our dreams or to regard retirement as the start of a new and exciting era.
As we grow older, we see our contemporaries – our friends and family members – succumbing to illnesses and death, so we are forced to recognise these states as natural and inevitable. As Buddhist women, we have an important part to play in demonstrating an alternative lifestyle that is not so dependent on the usual societal roles and can show the way forward to greater freedom and a more meaningful way of living. Even if our old knees ache too much for sitting cross-legged and health issues slow us down physically, our minds can still be bright and clear. Our meditation can deepen and mature.
Now that we have more time for ourselves, we can select a lifestyle that is meaningful and engaging, exploring spiritual pathways and reaching out in social engagement, thus benefitting ourselves and likewise benefitting others. This is a great opportunity to put the skills acquired over our lifetime to good use. We are reborn to a new life without having to discard the old one!
Many people chose to travel or learn new skills, sports, or crafts once their “official” work and responsibilities come to an end. As Buddhists, the question we can ask ourselves is, “Now that my worldly responsibilities are fulfilled, how can I use this life most practically to be of help to myself and others? What needs to be done to make some more advances on the Dharma path?” Our path need not include long retreats or total immersion in Buddhist community work. There are many ways to develop ourselves and tame our mind. Usually as we grow older, the storms of emotional upheavals have quieted, we have some basic self-understanding, and hopefully our formal practice has also deepened over the years. Now we have the time and space to nurture the bodhi saplings of our practice toward fruition and to encourage the bodhi tree of realisation to reach its full potential.
For many ageing Buddhists, there is also the issue of where to live as our faculties decline. As the family nucleus shrinks and no longer offers home facilities, many older people, especially in the West but also increasingly in Asian countries, must face the probability of living their later years in a nursing home. To end up surrounded by people and caregivers who have no interest in spiritual matters can be a very gloomy prospect. Therefore, it is time to start talk about starting retirement homes for senior Buddhists – communities not limited to any particular tradition. The main problem is probably financial, since acquiring suitable land and buildings, plus the subsequent upkeep would require considerable investment. However, it would be a very worthwhile endeavour and surely requires more thought and attention. It is important to make good use of our later years, while our faculties are still functioning, even as our physical vigour declines.
Finally, it is up to us to take the life we have been given and make the most of the opportunity to develop our potential. This precious human body is precious because we can use it to cultivate our mind and advance along the path. We can use our remaining days to create the circumstances to die without regrets.
Sometimes as we age, we can become very ill with life threatening diseases such as cancer or heart problems. This is common. Many people look on the onset of such sicknesses with dread and horror and hope to die quietly in their sleep with no prior warning. However, it is not always an advantage to pass away without any preparation.
When we recognise in advance that our allotted time here is limited, we have the opportunity to make arrangements for leaving this life in an orderly and satisfactory manner. Knowing that we are truly going to die and that time is running out can help us focus the mind wonderfully on what is important and what is not important. People are often transformed as they begin to finally let go of attachments and long-held resentments in readiness to pass on.
Facing death gives us a chance to reconcile our differences, repair broken relationships, and allow those whom we hold dear to know that they are loved and appreciated. In the face of our imminent mortality, we have nothing to lose but our hang-ups.
At the point of death, it is best to focus the mind on our personal practice or object of devotion. At least we can try to concentrate on light and absorb our minds in that. Friends and loved ones surrounding a dying person should remain calm and supportive, not giving way to grief, but perhaps gently chanting something appropriate.
On the whole, if one has led a fairly decent life, and especially if one has made some effort to merge the Dharma with one’s mind, then death holds no fears. The consciousness will follow along its accustomed path. So it is vital to make sure, while we still have some control over our thoughts and emotions, that this will be a pathway we would wish to travel.
As Professor Dumbledore advised young Harry Potter, “For one with a well-organised mind, death is but the next great adventure.”

CORRESPONDENCES, SPRING FLOWER MAGICK
Humanities › Religion & Spirituality Correspondences: Spring Flower Magic
SOURCE, THOUGHT CO.COM
by Patti Wigington Updated February 18, 2017
As spring arrives, our gardens begin to bud and eventually bloom. For hundreds of years, the plants that we grow have been used in magic. Flowers in particular are often connected with a variety of magical uses. Now that spring is here, keep an eye out for some of these flowers around you, and consider the different magical applications they might have.
CROCUS This flower is one of the first you'll see in the spring, and it's often associated with newly blooming love.
The crocus is also known to enhance visions and bring about intuitive dreams. Author Susan Gregg recommends in The Complete Illustrated Encyclopedia of Magical Plants, "By their very presence, crocus plants remind each of us that even at the darkest points in life, the seeds of happiness and joy live within our hearts. If you are going through a rough time in your life, hold a crocus flower or an image of one in your hand while you are meditating. Then simply open your heart and your mind to visions of what you can create." Daffodil
The bright petals of the daffodil are typically found in shades of white, yellow or even pale orange. This flower is associated with love and fertility -- place fresh ones in your home to bring about abundance. Wear this flower close to your heart to draw love and luck. Place daffodils on your altar during workings related to love, especially if it's a new relationship and you're still trying to figure out how to navigate the waters. Add potted daffodil bulbs -- don't worry if they're blooming yet – to your altar for spring celebrations, along with other spring flowers such as forsythia, crocus, and snowdrops.
Dandelion
The leaf of the dandelion is used for healing, purification, and ritual cleansing. To bring positive change about, plant dandelions in the northwest corner of your property.
The bright yellow flowers can be used in divination, or placed in a sachet to draw good energy your way. In some magical belief systems, the dandelion is associated with growth and transformation – after all, a few dandelion flowers soon turn into hundreds of seeds waiting to travel around the neighborhood, repopulating other yards. There’s also a connection to moving on – if you’ve got a bad habit you want to get rid of, associate it with a dandelion puff, and then blow it out away from you.
ECHINACEA Also called purple coneflower, this garden mainstay adds a little bit of magical "oomph" to charms and sachets. Use it for prosperity related workings. Burn the dried flowers in incense, and use on your altar during ritual as an offering to deities.
GOLDENSEAL
This sunny yellow flower is often found growing in the wild, alongside roads and in fields. Use it in money spells, or for business dealings. Work it into charms connected to matters of financial gain or legal issues.
HIBISCUS
This lusty flower incites passion -- use it to attract love or lust, or for prophetic dreams about your lover. Burn in incense, or carry in a sachet to bring love your way. HYACINTH This flower was named for Hyakinthos, a Greek divine hero who was beloved by Apollo, so it's sometimes considered the patron herb of homosexual men.
Hyacinth is also known to promote peaceful sleep, and guards against nightmares. Carry in an amulet to help heal a broken heart or to ease grief when a loved one dies.
LILY
The Easter lily or Tiger lily is associated with all kinds of Spring connections -- fertility, rebirth, renewal and abundance.
NARCISSUS
Named for another Greek figure, the Narcissus helps promote polarity and harmony. Its calming vibrations bring about tranquility and inner peace.
TULIP
The tulip appears in many different colors and varieties, but is typically connected to prosperity. You can use the different colored variations in color magic -- use a dark strain such as Queen of the Night for full moon rituals, or bright red flowers for love magic.
VIOLET
In Roman myth, the first violet sprung from the spilled blood of the god Attis, who killed himself for Cybele, the mother goddess. However, today the violet is associated with tranquility and peace. The leaf offers protection from evil, and can be sewn into a pillow or sachet for a new baby. Carry the petals with you to bring about luck and enhance nighttime magic. These pretty purple flowers are everywhere in the spring and early summer, so it’s a perfect opportunity to do a bit of flower magic. Dry the flowers in the sun, and use them in an incense blend to bring about sweet dreams and restful sleep. You may even want to sew them into a pillow like our Dream Pillow. The violet is also associated with dedication and loyalty. If you want your lover to be constant and true, offer a bundle of violets as a gift – or plant a patch in front of the person’s home!
IMPORTANT SAFETY TIP Remember that some plants can be toxic to pets. Before you plant or pick any of these, be sure to check to make sure it won't be harmful to your furry companions. A great resource to check is on the ASPCA website at Toxic & Non-Toxic Plants.

The Cow
Tumblr media
By shirleytwofeathers
Because of its milk that is a staple food for many human beings, the Cow is arguably one of the most useful animals in the world. It was one of the first animals domesticated by humans, and its symbolic importance is rich. It is emblematic of fertility, abundance, wealth, the universal Mother, and of rebirth. The Cow is also a gentle and compliant creature.
In Vedic literature the Cow is also a symbol of abundance and fertility as it represents both earth and sky. To Hindus and Buddhists, symbolism of the Cow deals with patience and holiness. It is considered India’s most sacred animal. The calm, tender nature of the Cow wins this right among the Buddhists.
The Cow as a sacred animal is a fundamental part of Hindu iconography. In India the Cow is so revered, and treated so gently, that it often causes a traffic hazard as it ambles along busy city roads. There are several reasons for the sacred status given to the creature. Not only does the Hindu faith have respect for all animals (vegetarianism is a tenet of the faith), but the God Krishna was a cowherd for a time, and one of his names is Bala Gopala, “the child who protects the cows.”
Hindu deities rule over each and every part of the Cow. During times of famine, the Cow is far more useful as a creature that can produce limitless amounts of milk, then as a dead beast that would provide meat for a limited period only.
In Egypt the Cow was personified as Ahet, the mother of the Sun itself. To make themselves fertile Egyptian women wore amulets of the Goddess Hathor, with the head of a Cow, in her guise as the Creator.
In Norse mythology the Cow makes an appearance as Audhumla, the mother-ancestor of all living things, whose utters emitted the four rivers of power – these provided nourishment for the giants (primarily the first giant, Ymir) that ruled the First World.
In Celtic mythology the Cow is sacred to the Mother Goddess Brigit who also governs the Earth, mothers, children, health, nurturing, providence, and the full range of the Female element of the universe. This symbolism remains consistent with that of many other cultural settings and supports Cow as representing life’s fragile beginnings and the necessity to safeguard and restore those who have no voice or support.
In Greek myth, one of the names for the great Cow was Europa, which means “full Moon.” The stars were said to be the children of Europa.
In Lancashire folk-speech, the name “cow’s lane” was sometimes given to the Milky Way, the traditional path of souls, as it was also in some parts of Germany. This may be connected with the old north European belief that whoever gave a cow to the poor during his life would be guided by that cow along the perilous soul-road after his death, and so would be sure of reaching Heaven in safety.
Once, there was a custom whereby the cow was brought to the sickroom, and in what must have been a distressing and rather frightening ritual, the dying person was encouraged to grasp the tail of the cow as he breathed a last breath.
This psychopomp aspect of the Cow is still celebrated in the Nepali festival called the Gai Jatra or Cow Festival. In a boisterous celebration, every family that has lost a member during the course of the year has to take part in a procession, leading a Cow, or if no animal is available, then a child dressed in a cow costume is considered to be a fair substitute. The Cow is believed to guide the soul on its final journey, including a voyage through the Milky Way, the constellations of stars said to be the milk splashed by the great Cow that was the mother of the Universe.
Red cows appear in some pagan creeds as personifications of the dawn, or clouds, or lightning. It is possible that they had some special significance for the ancient Hebrews also, since it is definitely stated in Numbers 19:1 that the victim offered for the purification of the people must be “a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke.”
In England the milk of a red cow was formerly supposed to be superior to any other, and to have healing properties. Such milk is often specifically mentioned in 17th and 18th century medical books as an essential part of remedies for various ills, particularly for consumption and chest ailments. Red is, of course, a life-giving colour in mythology and folk tradition alike because it is associated with fire and with blood, and red objects of various kinds figure constantly in healing charms and folk remedies.
According to a French legend, Cows always have a sweet breath because when Our Lord was born in the stable at Bethlehem, a Cow, seeing Him shivering in the cold, warmed Him with her breath and drew the hay over Him with her lips. As a reward for this act of kindness, she was promised that her breath, and that of all her descendants, should ever afterwards be sweet, and in addition, she was given the privilege of carrying her calf for nine months, like a Christian woman with a soul to be saved.

Cow as a Totem Animal belongs to those with profound Mother Goddess instincts.
Call in Cow as your Power Animal when your soul needs TLC.

The Cow Totem
Those who know Cow as their Totem Animal supply a sense of stability and solid, loving, growth-oriented relationships with self, others and the environment.
Cow people have the ultimate “mother’s intuition.” They can feel when others are out of sorts – when their auras are “scratchy” – and they always seem to know just what to say or do to help. Somehow, folks heal more quickly when in the company of Cow Totem Animal people.
If Cow is your Totem Animal, always remember that one cannot feed others from an empty trough. Though you were born with the natural instinct to take care of the world, YOU are part of it. Your needs are just as important as everyone else’s. A wise Cow mama know when to take a break and nourish her own mind, body, and spirit.
We should always work to have a positive and happy home environment. If we don’t, we should inquire deep within as to how we can change that. Calling upon the Cow animal totem, we can learn how to make basic changes that are needed to balance the joys in our surroundings.
Like its family member the bull, the Cow totem is highly connected to nature, the Earth, and its continuation through reproduction. Cows are very generous with their lives and behave in the most selfless of manners.
Among fertility and femininity, these mother creatures represent the virtuous traits of sustenance, abundance, potential, calming, grounding, and provision. They also serve as an uplifting sign of female power and prestige, since they are, after all, crucial to the continuation of any species.
New beginnings are also a theme associated with Cows in conjunction with their maternal auras. Through their pregnancy, birth, nourishment to their offspring, and ultimate bodily gifts, Cows show the entire life cycle in its bittersweet beauty from start to finish.
The female Cow totem is linked to its male counterpart, the bull, through the symbolism of fertility and reproduction. While the male totem exemplifies nourishment through its slaughter or sacrifice, a Cow symbolises birth and motherhood.
Cow symbolism assists us in understanding and embracing fertility and the relationships necessary for it. It is a soft and nurturing creature that arouses the soft side in each of us. The two animals are directly connected, as they are both needed to create new life.
These animals illustrate both the masculine and feminine qualities that exist in every being. The bull is characterised by bold and rigid energies, while the Cow is far more gentle and tranquil. They remind us to constantly ensure that these energies are in harmonious balance.

Cows As Spirit Guides
The Cow is a very powerful Spirit Animal. While at first you might wonder about the value of such a guide in your life, there is much about Cow to respect.
Like many other animals, Cows as spirit guides have been revered in various religions and cultures around the world. In ancient Egyptian astrology, the Cow served several symbolic purposes, including being worshipped as the goddess of joy and maternal nourisher of all things.
Additionally, they remind us to nourish ourselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. If we neglect the basics of our lives, it will be impossible for us to live happily and thrive. Every day, you should ask yourself if you are eating the right foods, drinking enough water, and exercising both your body and your mind to remain healthy and alert.
Cow reaches out to those struggling with fertility offering motherly advice. You may not always like what Cow tells you (did you like everything your mother told you?), but the heart behind the Cow Spirit Animal is truly one of giving. She always wants what is best for both you and your proverbial herd.
When weathering a storm, be it emotional or physical, turn to Cow as your animal spirit guide and think of how firm Cows stand in vile weather. There is no moving a Cow and no influencing it, but for urgent matters of hearth and heart. Nonetheless, as you stand in your place of power, remember that Cow also gives you keen perceptions. Be on the alert for possibilities or potential peril.
If your spiritual path is working toward the greatest good, Cow guidance is a fantastic helpmate. She will stay with you compassionately with watchfulness, making sure you stay inside the spiritual boundaries you’ve set.
Tumblr media
Cows are lunar, divine feminine energy. If you’ve ever looked into a Cow’s luminous eyes it’s easy to feel how loving they truly are. But, as soft and magickal as moonlight is, never forget it is the moon which is mighty enough to influence all the waters of the earth. The divine feminine is just like that. Pliable and giving, but it should never be mistaken for weak.
Cows are a simple creature that get their joys from life’s basic pleasures. From this, they aid us aid us in remembering to be easy going and live in the moment. Often times, we ignore the innocent and plain moments that make our lives wonderful.
If we can manage to clearly assess our lives, we will be reminded to thank our family members and those close to us for all that they do to make our lives joyful. Simply appreciating your community can change your mentality greatly, having positive effects on both your outlook and your body.
One of the Cow symbol’s main spiritual messages is to never take this for granted, for eventually this life will end.
Tumblr media
Cow As A Power Animal
If you want to have children, consider carrying a carved Cow totem and invoke Cow as your Power Animal. Cows are powerful symbols of new life. That life need not necessarily be as a parent however. It can apply to new jobs, new homes, and new relationships.
Keep a Cow totem on hand when you need protection from negativity or nightmares. Like the Mother Goddess herself, Cow energy holds you close, reassuring that nothing will harm you.
As a power animal Cow calls on you to love fully. Look at the world and the wonders of creation and let that fill you with all the characteristics you most need to embrace life.
Note, however, that this power animal will not let you give and give and give without refilling. Those that serve need service, including you. Put out a cattle call and let people give back (it blesses them too).

Dreaming About Cows
Lessons of gratitude and the appreciation of sacrifice are prevalent in cow symbolism, especially when presented in our dreams, and we would do well to integrate them into our daily life.
A cow dream symbolises some important issues. In Hindu culture, cows are sacred and represent fertility, nourishment, and motherhood. Cows also represent personality traits such as passivity and overall contentment. Seeing a cow in a dream is usually a positive thing, with the appearance of grazing cows, in particular, representing happiness and prosperity. Some ancient societies and some tribal societies measure a person’s wealth by how many cows he or she has.
The dream cow indicates that you obey authority figures without questioning them. It may represent maternal feelings or a desire within you to be taken care of. If you see a herd of cows in your dream, it suggests that you have a strong need to belong to a group. A herd of cows may also mean that you have a group of close friends that you enjoy. If the herd was disturbed or anxious in some way, it means that something or someone may be acting on your group of friends in such a way as to cause trouble and pull the group apart.
Dreaming of a field full of Cows portends improved finances or potentially a multiple birth in the family. A Cow grazing happily speaks of joy and contentment in the home. If the Cow represents self, it’s a signal that you need nurturing and spiritual nourishment.
The appearance of a cow with the face of a skeleton in your dream means that your mother or some mother figure in your life is acting coldly toward you or not responding to your needs. If you dream of cow with a calf, this is always a positive sign.
If you dream of being a cow, this suggests that you are afraid of being stupid. Dreaming of a sick cow suggests that some plans you’ve made for the future are threatened and require some action from you to avoid problems.
Because cows often represent motherhood, they are also representative of the feminine part of a man’s psyche. If you are a man, the dream of a cow suggests that you recognise this part of yourself and incorporate it into your life in order to attain greater psychological balance overall.
Dreams of cows are symbolic of peace, passivity, endurance, mothering, and humility.
Tumblr media
Superstitions About Cows
An old English superstition says that cows kneel down on Christmas Eve and pay homage to Jesus. They speak in human voices, but anyone who hears them will die before being able to tell anyone about it.
Old farmers say that every herd has a “master cow” which leads the others into mischief. If a cow lows after midnight, it is a death omen for someone in the neighbourhood, and similarly, if a cow lows three times in a man’s face, he has not long to live.
If a cow licks the forehead of another cow, it is a sign that their owner is about to die. It is also a sign of imminent death if a cow enters your property. Three cows means three deaths. Yet another reason for keeping your gates closed, especially if you live in the country!
It is important to wash your hands thoroughly after milking a cow. If you don’t, you will receive no milk on the following day.
Cows that eat buttercups produce tastier butter.
When out in the field an upright Cow tail foretells rain.
A cow’s breath is believed to have health-giving properties and people suffering from tuberculosis were at one time encouraged to sleep with the cattle.
If separating a calf from its mother, you should take a calf out of the barn backwards to prevent its mother mourning the loss of her child.
In Ireland a hare appearing with Cows on Beltane signify witches who are up to no good stealing away with fresh milk. The Scots believed that putting tar behind the Cows’ ears would keep the witch from succeeding.
Witches were also believed to be able to steal the milk of cows from a distance by means of a magical tether, the strands of which were plaited the wrong way. They could do the same by going through the motions of milking with a rope, or a pot-hook, or the legs of a stool, and sometimes they came in the form of hares and sucked the udders of cows lying out in the fields. When the true milking-time came around, such bewitched animals would give only a poor supply or no milk at all.
Various charms were used to counteract these thefts, one of which was to make the rope used to tether the animals’ feet out of horsehair, and to thrust a stick of rowan, or some other magickal wood, through it.
In an article in Folk-Lore (1895), a story is told about a Bernera farmer whose cows gave so little milk that he was sure they were bewitched. He used such a rope, with excellent results; but as soon as the cows were released, they all rushed to a certain woman’s house and began tossing at the walls. This was regarded by the local people as clear proof that the woman had previously bewitched them, and so strong was the feeling against her on this account that she had to leave the district.
In Discourse on Sympathy (1658) an old country belief is recorded that if milk boiled over and fell on the fire, salt must immediately be thrown on the place where it fell. If this was not done, the cow which gave it would suffer from an ulcerated udder.
