Donnie's dad gives me the vibe of being able to do stuff a normal turtle shouldn't be able to do. He'll be on the floor, everyone turns around for a second, and suddenly he's on the top of a counter/table. Nobody put him there nor knows how he got up there, he just is there now.
Yeah.

So the Red-eared slider fluttering thing they do with their fingertips is generally seen as an affectionate thing they do right?
What I’m trying to say is whenever his brothers are feeling sad/guilty about something they did or something that happened that targeted/mainly affected Leo, Leo will go to whichever sibling is feeling said way, grab their face and cup it in his hands and gently tap his fingers against their cheeks to remind them that he loves them/show them he doesn’t hold it against them.
He’ll also just go up to them and do it randomly, especially if one of them is just feeling down in general because he knows it makes them laugh.
Yes, he’s done it to splinter too, but only when he was a baby. Splinter would be holding him and baby Leo would just gently grab his snout with his tiny baby hands and flutter his fingers. Splinter never thought much of it until Leo was a little older and he decided to look into it and realized it was a common trait among Leos species
Edit: when Leo is feeling sad/down the others will go and do the fluttering thing to him. Leo loves it and it always cheers him up because it shows that they pay attention to him and who he is, along with his personality traits. The first time one of them did it to him it made him so happy he started crying.

can you tell us a story about your dad being a Dad? like was he the "i show love through bringing home fruit" kind of dad? did he do anything that made you think "wow you are such a stereotypical asian dad"? /pos -🕊️
I MEAN, You already guessed it- he's the type of dad that gathered and stocked up on things when we said we liked it. Maybe it was because we rarely were able to get our hands on it or because he genuinely had no other idea how to connect w/ us but whenever we so much as said we liked smth and consistently drank, ate, watched or played with something
After a few weeks, he'd come back with boxes of those things, fruits, toys, drinks, foods, dvds, games... sometimes he'd bring back way too much to the point where we'd get sick of it 💔💔💔 and he'd still buy more of it cause he knew we liked it.
Sometimes he used to feed us this small fruit he liked, we used to eat it with biscuits and it's the one fruit he refused to let anyone peel and it's the one thing he always fed to us, would hold the slice piece up to our mouth and then give us the biscuits. It was awesome too cause EVERYONE liked it since it wasn't too sweet or too flavorless... and it tasted great with the biscuit! And it was just nice being fed 😭
Also, he told us we needed to learn how to cook, but then he'd cook something for us anyway if we just asked. We can cook, but i think he just likes doing things for us sometimes because that's how he tells us he loves us, I already spoke about how he cooks me eggs in the morning if i'm awake snd sometimed he makes tea for everyone, sometimes we don't even want tea. He just knows we like tea so he makes it. He's great.
